The Tsuchikage would return, Kureji in tow. As they approached the gates Masaru would wave the guards off, he had invited the male to the village so there would no need for him to check in with them. Masaru would introduce Kureji to Hansuke and explain the man could give him the tour if he wished, before returning to his office to get some more work done.

    {Tsuchikage enters Iwa "like a Boss"}

Post by Kureji Toukei Tue 23 Jun 2020 - 3:35

Kureji entered the Southern Gates, noticing that Masaru waved the guards off which was good, the last thing he wanted were the guards bothering him as to how he entered. He imagined that soon, he'd have to spread his prowess throughout the villages to be officially recognised by the locals as one of their own, and to be in uniform. He took heed of Masaru's words that he'll have to indeed work his way up the ladder, but as he thought earlier, hard work was never a problem to Kureji. "A new village... this should be interesting." he said.

Mitsukira would enter the gates, Katsumi with her. She was leading the man to his childhood home and with a smile and a wave she would pass by the guards. They didn’t question her comings and goings, they had been instructed that she had the same authority that the Tsuchikage did. Once inside she would direct the man with her to shelter and go back to the guards office to report her findings, going home to enjoy sleeping until the sun rose.

Katsumi would follow after Mitsu, taking in the sights and sounds of the entrance, nodding and waving to the guards. The whole process of entering the village was unique and for some reason, he felt like it really wasn't much of a process. Finding his new lodging for the time being and unpacking, he would take the afternoon to relax before he would begin his journey through the new village.

Mitsukira entered the gates of Iwagakure, leading in Masami and Ryuichi, assuming they were both still with her. She would nod to the guards and offer them a friendly smile as well as a quick question about how their days were going. She would then make good on her offer of food and lead her companions to breakfast or lodging if they would prefer it. Breakfast for lunch was always the best.

Masami followed close behind his guide, Mitsu. He noticed how she carried herself with the guards, as he would just give them a nod. He would return Mitsu's small fur cloak to her as they got to their lodging for a warm meal.

Leading another of Earth’s Children through the gates was Mitsukira’s pleasure and privilege. She smiled and greeted the guards, informing them that she was bringing Shin Muramatsu with her, should he still be with her. This part of her self assigned duties never got old, she was happy to add more members to the ranks of Iwagakure.

Following after Mitsukira Tatsudashi was Shin. His crimson eyes roved over the landscape before him, absorbing everything that was there for him to remember. None of it seemed to ring a bell, yet it still had this feeling of familiarity to him. What his fate held for him now that he was home, he didn't know. He just accepted that he was at least returning to his birthplace.

Mitsu had been relieved when Chen asked her to go retrieve Rin Uchiha from Konohagakure. Seeing Yui change had been startling and if there was something that might be able to fix it, then Mitsu was more than happy to go do it. Even if it meant travelling to yet another country. She had gathered what belongings she had, her weapons and a small medical kit that she had kept from a mission, and of course directions to the village hidden in the leaves and took off without delay. She informed the guards as to her destination, offering them a reassuring smile as they balked at her willingly going to Konoha. She knew it was potentially dangerous considering what had recently happened with the war, but she had to trust that they wouldn’t break the treaty either. And soon she would have what might amount to a cure for Yui’s state, which would make the danger worth it. She only hoped she was fast enough and that nothing bad happened while she was gone.

Mal'Zeth would be one of those guards, well, 'guards' per se. In reality he was shadowing one of them while learning the routines of gate guard duty and he wouldn't actually be doing any of the work. So when Lady Mitsukira came by, to sign out and travel to Konoha for some unknown reason he certainly wouldn't stop her. He'd just wave at her in a friendly manner as she left and continue to learn things. The writer of this post totally didn't just post here to make a reader think he was interrupting the travel. That would just be rude as fuck, hilarious though.

    (cont. from here)

Bernie made his way to the gates, his travels being halted slightly as he found a nice hotspring on the way over as well as having to take alternate routes because of the wars going on, but eventually he'd make it to the Southern Gate. It had been a long time since he had been here, but with a lovely refresher form the higher-ups he knew where it was now. It was almost funny, the fact that he, a man from Iwa, didn't know where Iwa was because it had been so long! If he didn't have better self-control he probably would have laughed out loud, but now was not the time for that. No, he was here for a job. However he couldn't help but comment on them.

"I must say, they really did a number on redecorating the place. When I was younger these used to be nothing more then steel and rock, but now, well...now they are proper walls!"

As he walked up to the gates and to the silly little sign-in area, he'd present both the letter and his identification.

Full Name: Higashikuni Danzo Soma Amandi Nobunaga Daisuke Eiichi Ryuzaburo Shizuaki III
    Citizenship: Konohagakure (Previously Iwagakure)
Reason for Leaving/Entering: To assist in making sure the Farfor Accords are kept up and that the payment is completed per the request of Hokage Nyg Uchiha.
Expected Duration: Once the payments are completed, I will be leaving.

Hopefully that would be enough, and if no one bothered to stop him he'd make his way in.

    {Exit to Iwa}

It was the middle of the night when Mitsu arrived at the Iwagakure gates. With her she had Rin Uchiha and Maiori, and she took a moment to vouch for them both to the posted guards. After directing her two travelling companions to temporary accommodations, she would make her way into the village, her heart heavy and needing a friend.

The Southern Gate Empty Re: The Southern Gate

    Post by Oda Fri 21 Oct 2022 - 13:13

After a long journey up the mountains at full speed for the better part of the day Oda appeared rather calm. His stamina was beyond most people and virtually announced his approach to any sensory nin or abilities the village had. He made no effort to conceal it though he kept the limited range of his own active. S rank stamina was essentially announcing a nuke to shinobi he had been warned before traveling. Still he wouldn't try and be oppressive. Instead he would idly check his pocket where his home grown and dried tea leaves were. He had a passion in his hobby for tea and had virtually perfected it. Still at least he was unlikely to run into Chen here. Oda was a calm man but that one had been infuriating. Chen had even tried to fry him once with glee only to find out Oda was not a simple one to kill. Still Oda did not come without his equipment. He was wearing a black uniform with a white coat over it. Wooden buttons keeping the long sleeved shirt closed and the white coat hanging open. A black ebony breastplate, pair of greaves and bracers were visible however over the black uniform. Across his back and almost just as tall as him was an impressive sword however. An weapon named Fumetsu. Fumetsu is a 36 inch odachi of superior craftsmanship. The metal is stamped with the name of the sword inlaid in gold and the emerald green sharkshin tsukaito wraps around an inlaid iron symbol for the iron nation. The Tsuba is carved from bone, reinforced by the maker to be neigh indestructible.

Despite it being the harsh cold in the mountains however Oda had taken to traveling with a farmer come to bring his goods to market. The farmer had been warry at first that a Samurai was walking this road but...Oda had an aura he could not turn off. Even in the harsh cold of the mountain quickly approaching winter with snow already falling around Oda it was like mid summer. His katon affinity so strong he gave off a friendly heat. Despite the pale white iris's his gaze was warm as was his smile and reflective conversation. Oda loved the idea of peaceful talks instead of that of the sword. However upon the shadow of the massive first wall overcoming them his steps would slow as he wished the farmer well. He was not sure how he would be greeted and did not wish the kind man to be associated with him. Masaru had met him once upon attempting to garner friendly relations with Tetsumaru and Iwa but had fallen to the plague and gone into a coma in the process. People here would likely be wary of a samurai. Especially an armed one.

The guards today at the gate itself...not in the towers, would be irritated with the cold. The farmer had his proper papers though which Oda found interesting. The Samurai didn't carry identification papers. Still once the cart passed Oda would step forward and immediately garner the attention of the guards. The sudden warmth of summer drawing attention. Oda would smile pleasantly before announcing himself. "I am lord Hinode Oda of Tetsumaru. I am traveling the lands to see the current state of the world. Would you be so kind as to let me pass?" He would say with a pleasant smile. However due to his bloodline Oda still looked like he was a young adult. Somewhere between sixteen and eighteen. Often people didn't take him seriously and this would be the case here too. The guard closest would speak up to him. "Not gonna happen kid. Iwa doesn't like strangers and you ain't got any papers by the look of you. Surrender your weapon and we will send word for your request to the village. Could take a while though so get comfy."

The guard would reach out his hand as if to accept the sword from Odas back. Only to see the young man step out of his reach with a simple step backwards. This would cause the already irritated guards to be on edge as hands went to weapons. Ready to defend the gate against any foolishness. The guard would virtually growl through his teeth now. "Kid...don't make this hard on yourself....If you resist you will die." It was a threat but one to which Oda would frown idly. He understood they were on edge after their loss in the war. However to the Samurai their sword was virtually a religious symbol to them. Oda would calmly reply to the men ready to draw steel.

"I assure you gentlemen I mean no harm here. However it is against my culture to relinquish my weapon so easily. I wish you no ill will but if you try and take a weapon from me.....you will find it difficult to kill me. Please allow me to wait outside the gate for permission."

    Post by Diana Fri 21 Oct 2022 - 14:07

Before the guard rightly harassing Oda could do anything further, their fellow guardsman raised their hand and spoke up, one of their eyes reflecting seemingly shining. "I will send a message ahead to see if you may pass; if they truly are the man he claims he is to be, then the Tsuchikage will be able to discern the truth of the matter."

Turning away, the shinobi would move to the top of the tower and signal to the inner wall they needed assistance from the Kage herself regarding foreign leadership, leaving Oda to wait while the message was delivered, the guard transmitting who Oda claimed to be while they waited for her to arrive.

    ~#==#~

Standing atop her C2 crystal dragon, Diana sighed as she processed the information she had been told. Apparently a Lord from Tetsumaru had arrived, something she was not expecting in the slightest, and was requesting permission to enter. Were it not a lord she wouldn't have put the preparations of controlling the Nue on hold, but given the land of Iron was, in a way their backdoor neighbor, she felt that this was something she had to personally attend to. While she felt it a bit odd that she had never heard of this Lord, the politics of the Land of Iron were not something the shinobi world involved itself in.

Her Kiokugan Dojutsu & Sensory activated, as soon as she got into range she could sense his chakra and landed a good 200 meters inside of the wall, produced a shadow clone, and then flew back into the air to watch from half a kilometer above as the clone walked the remaining distance through the gate. While the clone approached, it would produce 8 crystal receivers that floated behind her like skeletal wings, and combined with the traditional Tsuchikage garb she was ready for business.

Stepping out from the wall the guards would immediately come to attention, though she would wave them off and they would return to their normal duties. "I am Saigo-dai Tsuchikage Diana; if you speak the truth then I hope you will not mind me verifying said truth of your claims, would you Lord Oda? All I ask is that you shake my hand, and we can put this matter to rest." Instead of bowing, she would hold out her hand to greet him, her golden eyes looking at him in anticipation. Were he to accept the handshake or make skin to skin contact in any way, she would immediately search his memories through her dojutsu to see if his claims were true.

The Southern Gate Empty Re: The Southern Gate

    Post by Oda Fri 21 Oct 2022 - 14:33

There was no time for things to get ugly as one of the more responsible guards would do as he should. No one attempted to take Odas weapon and he would wait quietly to the side. Allowing other Iwa natives to pass through as needed. He did not travel with a guard though likely he should have. Kiyoko and Kensai would have likely preferred it but Oda found it was difficult to travel peacefully with an armed guard. That and he was allowed to travel alone due to how difficult it was to kill him. Capture was of course a concern due to his bloodline but he had sworn not to fear it for years. His clan had lived until recent years in seclusion hidden in the mist filled valley in Iron country. Still it was a surprise the Tsuchikage would be addressing this personally. Still he would offer a warm smile to anyone who glanced in his direction but nothing more. Preferring to quietly stay out of the way for now. He didn't seem to mind the guards keeping an eye on him at all. Instead he would reach into his pocket and pull out a wrapped bit of salted meat. Chewing on it while he waited.

Still he would be rather surprised at the low level of chakra approaching when everyone came to attention. However his attention with his pale eyes would be drawn to the batteries floating behind the individual. They held almost double her chakra. Was she born with low chakra reserves and made up for it somehow....or had she split her chakra into these objects floating with her? Her real body was outside of his sensory range so he had to assume she had created a way to split her chakra into external objects. Still he would step to the center of the gateway as the guards watched with order and reverence of this person. He would listen as they spoke to him and even offer a slight bow of his head to show respect. Kiyoko would have asked he not bow to some ninja even if they were a Kage but he figured a show of respect was due. Still she would announce herself and hold out her hand. If this was true she would learn a great deal with a touch. So he would smile and step up to her with wary eyes on him.

"Very well Saigo-dai Tsuchikage Diana. I will do as you ask. But in return I request you keep any personal details you learn of me between us. Some privacy holds a great deal of value to my clan."

Oda would take her hand and it would be like touching something uncomfortably but not painfully warm. Depending on how deep she would delve she would find that not only was he the head of his clan but the left hand to the Shogun. Kiyoko being the right hand. Between the three Oda was the voice of reason in most cases. She would see he had met with Masaru and Chen once upon a time...See Chen attempt to burn him alive and Oda regenerating for it. See Chen meeting with him later and insulting him but being wary of Oda. She would see the clan being afraid of outsiders due to their bloodline being enslaved but him bringing them back to the city that was Tetsumaru. Iron was no longer a tiny outpost but an actual funded city. Of his peaceful talks with people from Kiri returning what was theirs and his role in security at the last summit. Oda had not lied about being a lord in the slightest.

The Southern Gate Empty Re: The Southern Gate

    Post by Diana Fri 21 Oct 2022 - 15:27

Upon first impressions of the boy, he seemed well meaning enough, but one could only make so many inferences from talking alone. "So long as your secrets does not threaten my people, you have my word that they shall be kept secret."

As soon as Oda touched her hand she begun delving, the memories proving that he was indeed Oda flowing through her, a crystal ball forming in her other hand within less then a second as she witnessed his approval to leave Tetsumura, the meeting of her fellow Iwagakure shinobi, and the day he was given his name. Every moment someone addressed him by name, all the moments that molded Oda into the man that stood before her hit Diana all at once...and then it passed just as quickly as it came. The handshake would complete and the vaguest sense of the memories she experienced now stored within the crystal ball she held. Just holding the crystal she could see the memory of Chen and Masaru in her mind's eye, though her claims were verified enough as it was now.

Acting as if nothing had happened (and indeed the moment she searched his memories, the only indication something had happened was her eyes seeming a little more vibrant and a small dip in something that wasn't her chakra, yet also was for some unexplained reason), she would close her eyes and sagely nod before opening them, looking at Oda with her dojutsu deactivated, her true scarlet eye color showing. "I see, you have been though a lot for someone who looks so young." She would look to the guards and nod to them before looking back to Oda. "You have my permission to enter Iwagakure as a personal guest of mine so long as you follow our rules. Now come, I believe we have many things that we can discuss on the way back to the village."

She'd gesture for him to follow, the guards no longer eyeing him up as a threat as they returned to normal duty. As she walk through the gate she'd continue to carry the baseball sized crystal in her hand, a finger idly tapping on it as her mind's eye settled on his memory of Masaru and Chen while the crystal dragon began it's decent to pick the both of them up.

Oda would allow her to do as she wished without much apparent concern for this strange ability. It wasn't that his borderline immortality made him reckless as much as it was that he wished to trust in people. He was well aware that these shinobi were capable of a great deal with a single touch. Stories of their wars had been told to him as a child. Truthfully though he had little to hide. At least not from one who had given their word. If he was to take a step in putting faith in people a hand shake would have to be one of them. Still she would release his hand after a moment and speak. Mentioning that he had been through a lot for someone so young in appearance. Well perhaps she could be bluffing but her preferred to see it as an impressive ability instead. Was mind reading with a touch really so common? Either way she would welcome him as her guest and encourage him to follow the laws of her land. Well he wasn't much of one for starting fights all the same. So he would reply with a warm smile that met his eyes

"Appearances often are more deceiving than one realizes. Either it is because its meant to deceive the eye or because of our own preconceptions of how things are. Leaving the question...are we being deceived or deceiving ourselves? Either way I appreciate your welcome and would love to walk back with you."

The guards no longer seemed to pay him any mind. After all their mightiest was present with him now and vouching for him. If he recalled the position of Kage in a village was due to being the strongest person within it. Though he supposed strength showed itself in many forms. Including the ability to discern the truth in all things. The inability to lie to a leader of a village had to hold its own strengths. Still he would walk with her as she beckoned to him to do so. Clasping his hands together behind his back as they walked. As for these things she believed they should discuss he wondered what all he could offer her with the knowledge she now possessed. Still once they were back to her crystal dragon his pale eyes would lift up to see its approach. Widening in surprise before a smile lit his features again. Glancing between the real Diana and the clone a moment before speaking again.

"Ahh this must be the clone technique I have heard of that you shinobi like to use. A good tool for cautious approaches. I would have never known otherwise. How does it work?"

"Close, but not quite. The normal clone technique makes afterimages and are more like illusions, but this is what we call the 'Shadow Clone Technique', which makes a physical copy of the user. The copies are almost identical, but more often then not they are weaker in constitution due to being made of Yin-aligned chakra. There are other weaknesses of course, such as the temporary split of one's chakra, but there are ways to get around those limitations."

The dragon would finish gliding down and would land with a solid thud, it's ruby knees bending on impact as the ground it stood on was imprinted with it's claw prints. Once it had fully stopped moving, one of it's wings would bend in unnatural ways; the sound of the crystal creaking as the shifting turned the wing into a makeshift staircase. Diana prime would be standing on top of the dragon, looking to her copy and waiting for the copy to nod. The copy would gesture for Oda to follow her as she walked up the steps, and once he did Oda would find that the staircase wing had small groves in it to that he wouldn't slip.

Handing the orb to Diana prime, the clone would disappear in a puff of smoke and Diana would stare at it for a moment before pocketing it, not trying to hide it as she wanted to discuss it with him later as the receivers now floated behind her. Once the two of them were on the dragon, the wing would shift back to it's normal state and take off after a short few step to gain momentum. She would turn to face Oda, not needing to look to know where the dragon needed to go.

"As much as I would love to talk about our techniques, and I truly would as an outside perspective is always appreciated, it is best saved for later. For now, I should first inform you that Chen Kimyōnakama is currently considered an enemy of the state, and efforts are being taken to take him into custody; he will not bother you while you are in Iwagakure." She'd look off to the side for a moment, the thought of how she was to deal with Chen a thorn in her mind before looking back. "As for the current state of the world...I will be honest, I am unsure. While you will be able to see Iwa soon, Sunagakure is currently dealing with the aftermath of Chen, of which I plan on visiting in order to assist in their rebuilding efforts. As for Konohagakure, Kirigakure, and Kumogakure I have yet to hear anything from them, but I assume that they too are still trying to recover after the Emporium attack."

Oda would listen to the explanation to the best of his ability. Taking mental notes on the text book explanation of what before was basically a magical power to him. The fact that the base clone technique was just illusions was new to him. Though he suspected his ability to sense chakra would improve his likelihood of discovering those. However the weaker constitution and split in chakra were important raw bits of information. So a shinobi could split themselves into multiple physical bodies but they did so at a cost. It explained why before Diana had seemed so low on chakra and now...when her clone excused itself it returned to her...Like energy returned to a source. Not to mention she had mentioned it could be overcome. His pale eyes glanced to the chakra batteries and he would nod.

He had accepted the simple explanation of the technique but this massive crystal dragon which was to take them high into the sky was beyond that. It defied logic. A type of rock that could carry them through the sky and transform almost like liquid at her will? It would be easy to be captured by such a reality defying technique. Still he would smile and board the thing before him. Walking up the steps created on the wings and finding a place to settle for the ride. His eyes watching the orb after she was done with it and pocketing it. All his life and his secrets as far as he could tell were in a crystal orb at the moment. Which made him uncomfortable. If anyone ever stole such an object they would have many of Irons secrets including its location. He would need to ask for it to be destroyed before their meeting was over. For now he simply held onto the dragons back as it took off. His grip tight on the crystal piece he selected.

Still Oda would listen as they flew. It was a relief he would not be meeting Chen while he was here. That kind of arrogance irritated his inner peace. Truly he was the one man that had made Oda truly angry before. Still it was interesting to learn all he could since Iron separated itself from the ninja world so entirely. Still he knew many of his fellow members had taken refuge in Suna including their shogun and the prince. One of their villages largest investors was from Suna and a distant cousin to Masaru. Still he would speak calmly.

"It is good that Chen will not be present. I find his presence unpleasant. I do hope that comes to an easy conclusion for you soon. Though I was nearly at the emporium attack myself. Just to test my sword against others. I was also attempting to Expand my tea collection and had left shortly before. As for your strained relations...you're representative at the summit had made it clear your independence was paramount to anything else. I am not surprised too much by the lack of information flowing from them. That said...what happened in Suna that has Iwa arresting one of their recent leaders?"

The Southern Gate Empty Re: The Southern Gate

    Post by Diana Wed 2 Nov 2022 - 18:37

As he mentioned the emporium, she did recall seeing one of his memories where he and Chen were at what appeared to be an emporium building. In her opinion Oda was very lucky to have avoided the whole invasion, as even if she was the one who dealt the final blow...they had lost too many shinobi in the encounter.

She'd frown at the mention of Suna, the thought of what happened something she was still trying to address. She had yet to properly announce it to the public, but the internal announcement within the administration had been made.

"Unfortunately I was recovering from the same affliction many shinobi are facing now at the time of the summit, but I do still agree with his sentiment. Iwa has gone through a lot as it is, and I would prefer to create alliances over antagonism." She'd pause, the memories of the war rising to the surface. "Especially after the fall of the Emporium." Even if it wasn't properly translated onto her face, her body language made it clear she didn't like thinking about the subject.

Her tone then took on a slighted tone to it. "However thanks to Chen, I am afraid that the cycle of violence is going to continue for at least another generation despite the united front at the Emporium. From the reports I have received, he killed nearly if not all of the elders for Sage knows whatever reason, and now I have to clean up his mess." She'd take a deep breath, and her voice returned to it's regular monotone. "I do not think I ever liked him. Respected his position and power sure, but I do not think we could have ever been more then business associates given the paths we've chosen to walk. But enough about him, I wish to discuss something I saw within your memories."

She'd pull out the crystal ball as the sun glinted off of it. Such a simple and innocuous thing, if one didn't know what it held they'd think it was just something fancy to look at. "Was Masaru ever able to make an alliance with the Land of Iron? Despite me becoming Kage, I've yet to find any documents saying if that ever went through."

The Southern Gate Empty Re: The Southern Gate

    Post by Oda Sun 6 Nov 2022 - 0:21

Oda would find his balance on the back of the beast and listen. He was always quicker to listen than to speak as he had learned at an early age that one learned more with their mouth shut and their ears open. A kind lesson his mother had taught him about listening to others. It was expected of him to be a leader when he inherited the clan. His father passing it on to his eldest son. They were good parents and had taught him to be a peace loving man. While his father had also taught him the sword. 'To be prepared for war is not the same as seeking it' His father had always stated during training. Still Oda would listen as she spoke of the affliction. He wouldn't speak of it but it often happened in Iron too. Despite being a separated culture they had not been immune to the plague.

Despite that Oda would frown at what Chen had done. A sigh with a turned down gaze in contemplation. The war had ended and it seemed Suna would be safest with its neighboring country. How wrong they had been in that regard. What could have driven such madness into a man was beyond him. Though Chen had grown increasingly unpleasant each time they met...he had never seen a reason to fear him. That he would slaughter elderly was unimaginable. It would be difficult even if they executed him to recover from this politically. He felt for her position but also a string of doubt and caution about how much he wished to expose the land of Iron to such a reputation. Mass murder wasn't quickly or easily tucked under a rug. It would appear that their neighbors appeared to be the antagonist of a story here. However he would reserve judgment for now. His pale eyes lifting to match hers when she spoke of something else.

His pale eyes would study her own. She held his memories from what he could tell and yet still would ask him questions. It seemed an odd thing to him. Did she perhaps think he had come prepared to block her technique? Or that he had a natural defense against it? Or perhaps it wasn't as complete as he had assumed. Or was she seeing if he was foolish enough as to lie about such a thing? He doubted she thought him the fool but for now he would remind himself of his usual mental warnings. Anxiety and paranoia were very similar. He himself preferred to be direct. If he let himself dwell on the what if he would surely go mad. Instead he would smile softly. As if a child knew their elder already knew the answer....and had chosen to answer honestly themselves. Warm and almost amused.

"No such alliance was every fully confirmed between our nations. Unfortunately Lord Masaru had to withdraw before talks could begin for your war with the other powers. I will warn you outright that I have no intention of speaking on behalf of my Shogun to begin such an alliance either. I am looking into the state of the world and reporting back as my duty demands. I hope you will bare with me during my stay here. I intend to treat everyone in your country with respect and kindness."

She had a feeling what the answer was, but it was only a guess until Oda conformed it. Her dojutsu could do many things, but it required her to be clear in her line of thinking in order to grab memories. As she hadn't looked into the alliance, it only had a chance of appearing, if which she hadn't gotten. It had been an honest answer, one that, given her monotone voice and muted body language being her 'normal', his moment of pause before answering making sense to her and her alone.

She'd lower the crystal a few inches, the sunbeam's glare now appearing on the dragon. "I see. That is a shame and I will have to try and rectify later, but I understand. I shall not press any further on the subject of alliances then while you are staying here."

She stared at the crystal ball again, the many possibilities it held, and the things she could do with it. It wasn't often that you would see a technique that could connect others, the old values of Ninshū mostly left to the stories of old. But she still followed it, and while she wasn't the most spiritual person...well there was proof that people could come back from the dead, and she had proof that alternate dimensions existed, so the belief that the Sage of Six Paths was real wasn't that big of a leap. Sure the Kiokugan could sever bonds with Ninjutsu, but it could just as easily connect people together through sharing experiences with one another. Creation & Cataclysm, just like her title.

As they started to descend for a landing, their destination of the inner wall clear, Diana sighed. "I will admit I wish to hold onto this orb...but I have a deal to uphold." The sound of her Hypherion Battery inside her would lightly hum as the crystal ball would begin to glow, cracks forming in it as it looked like it was about to explode...but instead it simply fell apart, the shards turning to dust as it was scattered to the four winds. "As you requested, your private details that I have learned shall stay as such, though if you ever wish to share any memory for public use, even if its just the simple memory of a good cup of tea, my door is open."

The dragon would make it's final approach as it landed next to the inner gate, the landing quite smooth despite it's bulky appearance. It's wing changing like before, Diana would motion to the stairs. "As much as I would like to lead you in, duty calls and I am still needed elsewhere." She'd hand him a pendant of crystal, with a uniquely steel trim and porcelain symbol of Iwa on it. "As long as you carry that, the guards will know you are my guest. And do not be afraid of the Warmachina; they may look like living statues, but they are just as human as you, me, or any other person. Take care now, and may the Sage watch over you during your stay." She'd bow and take of into the city, a little ashames she left him like this, but she was sure if he wished to speak they'd run into each other again.

She would mention it a shame that it had not happened. With intention to rectify such an incidental loss. He would smile softly as he felt pity for her position. After all she represented much of what his country disliked. First was the advance in technology. The further technology advanced it always seemed that tradition was set aside. These creations of hers would likely be met with fear and prejudice. The fact that is was shinobi country already set the back enough. After all the Samurai held little to no love for Shinobi. Finding them mostly without honor or restraint. Their wars breaking against the world around them. Including the Samurai. However what had transpired in Suna would leave a mark for some time on their specific nation. Where they would have been met with caution and an open eye before for any faults, Iwa would now be met with low expectations and a raised guard. After all even if it was one of their odd situations out, it had happened by the hand of someone Iwa had let take power to begin with. A single generation to wait out was not a lofty statement in his opinion. But she could try.

Still they would begin to lose altitude and Oda would glance over the side. He could heal from a great deal....but the idea of hitting the ground from this height was still unpleasant. Still she would catch his attention as she spoke again. This time of the crystal ball she held. A hum would pick up despite the sound of the wind passing them. Soon the crystal ball would glow and crack. Despite the appearance of the live explosive in her hand neither of them flinched. She knew what was coming and Oda...well Oda didn't fear wounds. Nor did he expect her to blatantly allow an explosion so close to a guest. She would tell him her end had been upheld and that his record was destroyed. Which he would bow his head lightly in thanks. Still if she wanted a memory of his quest for the perfect cup of tea...he may allow it. If he could prove that was all that was taken somehow. Even with his understanding there was a lot he was taking in. He had been very cooperative and thus won an invite inside and a ride all the way to the front door.

Finally she would motion the stares as they landed smoothly enough. Its wing having transformed again. She would hand him a pendant of passage it would seem and he would smile once more. "I must thank you for your personal welcome Tsuchikage. But of course there are duties beyond simply entertaining a guest. I will show myself around a while I think before I find some accommodations for a while. Be well Saigo-dai Tsuchikage Diana." With that he would bow as she left and turn. Pinning the pendant onto his collar in plain view before turning to head into the city. It was time to adventure and see the sights.
