She had a feeling what the answer was, but it was only a guess until Oda conformed it. Her dojutsu could do many things, but it required her to be clear in her line of thinking in order to grab memories. As she hadn't looked into the alliance, it only had a chance of appearing, if which she hadn't gotten. It had been an honest answer, one that, given her monotone voice and muted body language being her 'normal', his moment of pause before answering making sense to her and her alone.
She'd lower the crystal a few inches, the sunbeam's glare now appearing on the dragon. "I see. That is a shame and I will have to try and rectify later, but I understand. I shall not press any further on the subject of alliances then while you are staying here."
She stared at the crystal ball again, the many possibilities it held, and the things she could do with it. It wasn't often that you would see a technique that could connect others, the old values of Ninshū mostly left to the stories of old. But she still followed it, and while she wasn't the most spiritual person...well there was proof that people could come back from the dead, and she had proof that alternate dimensions existed, so the belief that the Sage of Six Paths was real wasn't that big of a leap. Sure the Kiokugan could sever bonds with Ninjutsu, but it could just as easily connect people together through sharing experiences with one another. Creation & Cataclysm, just like her title.
As they started to descend for a landing, their destination of the inner wall clear, Diana sighed. "I will admit I wish to hold onto this orb...but I have a deal to uphold." The sound of her Hypherion Battery inside her would lightly hum as the crystal ball would begin to glow, cracks forming in it as it looked like it was about to explode...but instead it simply fell apart, the shards turning to dust as it was scattered to the four winds. "As you requested, your private details that I have learned shall stay as such, though if you ever wish to share any memory for public use, even if its just the simple memory of a good cup of tea, my door is open."
The dragon would make it's final approach as it landed next to the inner gate, the landing quite smooth despite it's bulky appearance. It's wing changing like before, Diana would motion to the stairs. "As much as I would like to lead you in, duty calls and I am still needed elsewhere." She'd hand him a pendant of crystal, with a uniquely steel trim and porcelain symbol of Iwa on it. "As long as you carry that, the guards will know you are my guest. And do not be afraid of the Warmachina; they may look like living statues, but they are just as human as you, me, or any other person. Take care now, and may the Sage watch over you during your stay." She'd bow and take of into the city, a little ashames she left him like this, but she was sure if he wished to speak they'd run into each other again.
