New Eastern Gates

Watching this man begin his entrance into the village he could only watch these two give off enough energy to persuade Samehada into making more noise. Nothing interesting happened. The only thing that was curious about this situation was the male now entering the village. The kunoichi herself stood out as a powerful being but yet who she was that was unknown the fact that Samehada gave off all attention was probably due to her. Such power Blitz had to have known that he was already spotted but yet he chose to remain to himself. Whatever meeting occurred he only came to a conclusion that the power houses of the world were making some type of movement. Gazing at the gate for a while he could only dream of the outside world and its glories, rarely leaving the village as it was; he was glad he could live to see the day.

As the male entered, Blitz lifted himself up and decided to return back to patrolling; such a powerful shinobi herself was already keeping tabs upon the man. Sighing it would be the same case as he fought his sensei a fight but the odds of winning were slim but the odds of seeing the hospital once more. Didn’t seem fun to him when he couldn't train from his injuries. Leaping out of cover and out into the open Blitz made his way back into the districts to finish off his rounds all this with a small grin on his face. Whispering to himself as he walked down the road catching the attention of a few villagers before he waved at them.

“Powerful shinobi come this way.”

Takashi moved through the gates of the village toward the docks intent upon traveling to the Land of Sky. He’d seen the broadcast of Okane Tomi, a man that had similar disappeared for the past couple of years. Now though he had returned and Takashi had promised Touka a new weapon. A scythe that would be a much more suitable weapon than the one the young girl was currently wielding. It had been the agreement for giving Takashi the Nuibari that she herself had earned. Well, that and being her teacher. Although that had been his idea, not hers. Still he was intent upon getting the job done quickly, and so he made his way down to the docks of the village and boarded a corvette, intent upon the Land of Sky.

Valen was of course furious with himself.

How could he not be after that massive blunder that was his attempt at the controlling of the Nibi? Now however he had new goals in mind, new plans in action. This one however required the usage of others as well. The Jounin Commander of Kirigakure set out the initial orders to gather forces at his gates. The three tracking teams that had gone with Burritsu, Touka, and Dante were there. As well as three other squads of his shinobi, lined up and waiting for him.

Arriving at the gates himself Valen would look down the line of them and nod before ordering the three scout team aside and then ordering the other nine squads to form up with them evenly. They took a few moments to do so and then the swordsman would give a closed envelope to each of the trackers with orders for the groups. Each of them had their tasks, and all of them nodded and moved toward their assigned corvettes. The tracking teams reading the contents of their orders as they traveled. Each of them would time tasks to begin simultaneously and Valen himself would also move toward a separate corvette. Intent upon his own task in this endeavor. Nodding toward the captain, who had received a messenger bird to with orders to make the ship ready to sail and their destination, the crew would set sail immediately.

As Ryuko waited to board an outbound ship she reflected on her time in Kiri.   Perhaps they really were a bit muscle brained given the lack of certain amenities.  She’d wanted to craft a new piece of armor for herself to make teleportation easier and yet there was nobody around with a workshop that she could borrow.   Without that she’d never complete the item it question in time to still make it to the auction that was being held at The Heavenly Emporium soon.   Needless to say, missing such a big event was out of the question.  

That said, she still had a lot of unfinished business in Kiri.  She hadn’t really gotten to speak with her friend Arisu after the battle with Matatabi.  Most likely because the Alien princess was stricken with grief at the loss of her subordinate Raphael.    For now Ryuko figured it was best to let her friend mourn in peace.   

With a long sigh she walked onto the landing ramp.  She wasn't looking forward to having to make this trip this way. Sure Kiri was lending her a Corvette for this trip but it would still take time to reach her destination.   Sooner or later she was going to need to track down a shuttle craft or something so that she could get around faster to places she didn’t have enough data to teleport to.

One of the most impactful things Kitsuki had been briefed about was concerning her longtime crush. Okane had been returned to the shinobi world safe and sound. He had rebuilt the Stag Emporium and parked it nearby at the Land of Sky. He was also holding an international auction to sell some of his latest wares. While Kitsuki was looking for a new cane to replace Amicus Curiae, her primary purpose of heading to the auction was to re-connect with Okane. To apologize for failing to save him, find him and rescue him. She exited the village gates and ran at a full sprint towards her destination. She'd be exhausted when she got there but true love never tired.

Zephyr would arrive with a man strapped to his back like a backpack. Bundled up to keep from moving. He looked tired but he was here now. A large black scythe bundled under some cloth and tied down. He would pause outside of the gate and speak calmly with exhaustion behind his words.

"I have a delivery from the Stag emporium. I do not seek entry, simply to drop off one comatose Takashi Yamamoto and the weapon he had commissioned. In order to do so I request someone sign for the receipt that can identify themselves as Kiri shinobi."

So there didn't seem to be anyone of any higher power around to do anything in the village. Perhaps he should go somewhere a bit more ready and willing to do something like Konohagakure. No, Nobunaga had to push out the intrusive thoughts. Nothing had happened in the village besides Matatabi running rampant and neither Nobunaga nor Koro was bothered enough to really interfere with any of that. Finding his way to the gate, Nobunaga walked with Koro, a small black Shiba Inu pup sat upon his mother's furs. Sniffing the air, he walked over towards the delivery boy and noticed the man and a package. What an absolute bother. Groaning, he took a look at the paper, reading everything before signing. "Person. Sure. Weapon he had commissioned?" he said noticing a scythe. "Uh, sure," he said taking a pen out of his pocket and signed his signature upon the paper. The little puppy huffed and puffed and let out a little bark. None of this crap belonged to him, but he supposed he had places to take them. Not that there was anyone, in power, here currently, that he could go talk to. "Uh, thanks," he simply said before reaching down, grabbing Takashi's limp body -- the body of a Swift Release user, over his other shoulder while holding the scythe. He'll escort the body of this comatosed patient and hold onto the scythe until someone else in the village can take it from him. He had no need for it so he would just freely give it away.

It had been a bit now since she had left her early grave, but nothing seemed to make sense. She needed a focus, and there was rumors going on that something was going on in Menzagakure.

Kiyoshi would arrive at the gates of Kirigakure with his full entourage, in total a group of five, six if you count the small puppet that walked next to Kiyoshi. His newest traveling companion as well as bodyguard, Oda, was in charge of their placement as head of his security team. Along with Oda his security team consisted of Akimitsu Aburame, Enmei, and Zamasu Senju. It was pure luck that Zamasu was actually with them, their boats from different countries just happened to dock at the same time allowing him to rejoin their travel to the village hidden in the mist. Kiyoshi would be fully concealed with in his full-body puppet armor, with Mini-Mi, his puppet walking next to him. Kiyoshi had other puppets, eight to be exact, currently sealed away though ready to be summoned instantly if they ran into trouble. His helmet would not retract the entire journey until they had reached the village gates, at which point the helmet would open revealing his bright red spiky hair held in place by a hitai-ate. However, Kiyoshi's Hitai-ate did not bare the symbol of a village but rather a symbol of his own creation representing his business the Cosmic Menagerie. Akimitsu, Enmei, and Zamasu would also have similar headbands. Kiyoshi would have offered Oda one as well, but the man did not strike him as a headband kind of guy.

With the travel party at the gate Kiyoshi would announce their arrival to the gate guard, "My name is Kiyoshi, a mastercraftsman from the village hidden in the Leaf, as well as a representive of the Grand Merchant, the Iron Prince Okane. Myself and my companions are here to discuss terms of opening a shop within your boards to provide your village with wares and supplies as they need them. My companions here, are my guards, they will not cause trouble for anyone as long as they don't cause trouble for us."

Oda would yawn as they walked towards the gates from the ships arrival. It was difficult he found to get real sleep on a see voyage. He consistently had to pee and the movement kept him awake. He had slept some but not too much. Enough that he felt a little tired as he had just been roused an hour before the ship arrived. That aside if he had to Oda was capable of remaining awake for days with his stamina. It just wasn't comfortable on the mind. Still he had taken shifts with the other guards to watch over Kiyoshi. Choosing not to leave sleeping up to chance. Not even with the paid ship crew. He had seen his fare share of pirates and wasn't about to have his wards throat slit in the night. Still he would let his pale gaze wander across the mist soaked lands around them. He could tell normally it would be a wet cold for the lot of them. If not for the warm zone that radiated from Oda himself. Oda was likely the shortest aside from maybe the puppet. Unlike the others he made no effort to wear an identifying marker other than the coat marking him as the clan head of the Hinode. A badge down the back of the coat.

Oda was a young looking man with white hair and fire red tips. Barely at the end of his teens. However his pearl white eyes were warm as was everywhere within ten meters of him. Like standing next to a stove or bonfire. He wore a black button up uniform under the long white coat with samurai boots. Along with shin and arm guards made of ebony. An ebony breast plate hung tight over his chest. Along his back however was a superiorly made Odachi as black as night and only a few inches shorter than the man himself. Nearly brushing the ground in its sheath with every step. Oda took the front while slightly to the right so he was out of the way of conversation. However he was a short sword draw away from dealing with a threat if need be. Akimitsu Aburame and Zamasu Senju Had both been placed to either side of Kiyoshi and only a couple meters behind him. Someone incredibly durable as a Senju and an Aburame to deal with chakra based threats. Enmei hung back another five meters to keep an eye on them all and hold the rear guard.

Oda would pause as they approached and Kiyoshi spoke. Clearly a well guarded VIP. From what Oda had a current understanding of without knowing of the beef between Konoha and Kiri they shouldn't have any issue getting in. A warm smile met warm eyes as Kiyoshi dropped some titles and names. He didn't feel he would need to state any of his own connections buuuut....it was best to be honest with them. If he was to be wary of them for a reason they should at least know what it was. So he would wait until Kiyoshi finished to introduce himself with a curt nod.

"I am Oda, head of the Hinode clan and left hand to the Iron Shogun." He would state simply. Unlike those others with Kiyoshi he had nothing to do with Konoha and would state his allegiance plainly.

Esdeath stood by the gate conjuring small ice figures in her hand. Sero had requested her and Itsuki have gate duty today, tho it seemed more of an order than request. She smiled over to Itsuki, the only hint of warm emotion she showed to anyone today. The rest of the guards had been annoying to say the least. A hand full had tried to hit on her only for their advances to be stopped by a spike of ice inches from their groins. Others had talked non stop until her glares and chakra dropping the temperature had forced them to leave.

It was just Ituski and Esdeath now, just the way she preferred it. The peace would not last long as in the distance a small procession made its way toward Kirigakure. She stood up straight side eyeing Itsuki before making sure her white military jacket and hat wrinkle free and forward. Her heels clicked together from the knee high black boots she wore as she stood at attention. As the group can closer a sense of unease washed over her. She had not been informed of any party approaching the village today. Was this why Sero had assigned them here today? Before she could speak a man in armor spoke up introducing himself as Kiyoshi from the hidden Leaf. That made her nervous, she had no idea they were coming and one was from the leaf!

As she looked over the group members noticing most wearing a symbol she did not recognize another stepped forward introducing himself. Hinode? Her head turned to Itsuki, did she know him? After he finished she held a hand out to stop them wondering it she would have been able to anyway. Out of habit her chakra flowed from her dropping the temperature making it snow slightly.

"I appreciate your greetings, however my partner and I were not made aware of you arrival. Have you sent word previously to the Mizukage? If not I am afraid it might take some time to grant an audience." She was bluffing out of her ass, she had no idea the schedule of the Mizukage.

"However I am Yuki Esdeath, future Mizukage and future head of the Yuki clan after its rightful heir Burittsu." She looked to Itsuki hoping to find some answers from her love.

Itsuki was enjoying a peaceful guard duty alone with Esdeath as she saw her companion look out the gate. It took no time to see the group walking up to the gate. She made sure to stand ready and straightened out her skirt to make sure to look presentable to the outsiders. Upon seeing them get closer, Itsuki noticed a familiar face. Though its been almost a decade, he looked to have barely aged at all. It had been 8 years since she last saw Oda but decided to wait until she knew who the rest of the group was before getting too friendly.

Itsuki listened closely as the man in the center of the formation introduced himself. He was clearly the important one of the group. When Oda made his brief introduction to them, she noticed the coat he was wearing, the coat his father wore when she left the clan to go to the Mist's academy. Itsuki wondered why such a high rank from the clan would be traveling with a member of the leaf village, but hoped Esdeath would be able to get that information from them if she couldn't get a straight answer herself. Then she noticed Esdeath's look towards her, likely because of his name. Itsuki gave Esdeath a small nod, then turned her attention back to the group.

"Hello, I am Itsuki Hinode.... though a member of your party already knows this. Oda, would you mind answering why you are traveling with someone from the leaf, and why you are here with them?"

Kiyoshi would study the two guards as they introduced themselves and questioned why they were there, though the Hinode seemed more concerned about why their clan leader was accompanying him rather than why they were there. It was little a family matter and Kiyoshi would not even attempt to get involved as such, instead he would focus his words on the Yuki that had first addressed them. He would keep both of them within his eyesight, watching for any sign that they might turn hostile. It wasn't hard for him to analyze them in just the brief moment since they spoke, though he knew nothing about them, he knew the kind of person they were and how to judge their actions on the faintest of details. He took notice of the snow that seemed to form around the pair when the Yuki had first stepped up, causing him to wonder what would happen when the cold air from the woman collided with the sauna like heat that Oda produces. It was obvious from his brief study of the pair that the two of them were in an intimate relationship, the simple way they looked at each other spoke volumes. It was sweet, but to Kiyoshi, it was a weakness that could easily be exploited, which is why the only love he had was for his creations. No one could kill a creation, sure a version of it could be destroyed, but it could always be rebuilt. Another's life was not so easily replaced, it was one of the reasons why the only ones that he traveled with were the ones that he paid, that and the fact that he never even tried to have a connection with another human being. He had no attachment to them other than his money, and if they were to die well then, they were doing what he paid them to do. He wouldn't really shed a tear, though he would likely commemorate a puppet in their likeness as well as a monument for their service, that is of course provided he survived.

"No, there was no word sent ahead of us, as it was unknown when we would arrive as I had other stops to make along the way. I originally planned to come here on my own in an attempt to further my business and get my wares out to more shinobi. I can make anything from puppets and buildings to weapons and armor, a long list of chemical items and explosives as well as other specialty items, I simply wish to supply allies of our countries with the same benefit that my country has prospered from thanks to my work. Before I came here, I paid a visit to Okane, and in addition to opening a shop within his grand city, I was named CFO of the Stag Emporium. He has an agreement with the leadership of this village for the construction of this tower as well as a donation from the village to cover half the costs of it, as such I am here to oversee the construction of this new tower and offer my services to help in the construction. All that said, there is no need to bother the leadership about our visit. We have had a long journey, and mostly would like a place to lay our head before heading to the construction site for the new tower."

Esdeath and Itsuki Analyzed

Oda would chuckle at the unease of those before him. Esdeaths cold aura however would not reach his party as the snow that fell would fade to nothing upon reacting to his own warm aura. However his pale eyes did look up to notice the snowfall. He could sense that the more aggressive of the two before them...Esdeath was the source. Still there was only trace amounts of chakra in the snow. Not enough to really effect anything. He would take a breath and steady himself all the same. His warm eyes returning once a familiar voice echoed out. Of course Kiyoshi his client would speak out with authority and he wouldn't interrupt. However once he was done speaking he would answer the question with a warm smile.

"Is that little Itsuki I hear? I see you continued to grow after you left. I hope you're fitting in well here. Though given Iron's history with Kirigakure I am more relieved to see you free and in one piece. As for why I am traveling....it's actually technically Lord Oda now. My father decided it was time to pass the mantle. With the clan and land thriving back home I took on a pilgrimage. I am traveling the world and putting together a report of my findings. Kiri happened to be one of my stops and this young man was coming this way. A profit to be made protecting a crafter. We aren't allied mind you with the leaf...just observing Shinobi in their home environment and deciding for myself what to make of them."

He would glance to Esdeath again with a hint of caution in his eyes. Kiri had sacked Iron some years back for a sword. They remembered the amount of death and fire left in their wake and most of the Iron nation despised Shinobi for it. Oda was more welcoming and warm than the rest but he was also not one to simply forget history. He was suspicious of Esdeaths relationship with Itsuki. The clan had a history of being used for their bloods benefits and if this Esdeath was using Itsuki for their own greedy wishes than he would be sure to escort the young lady home with him. Likely through a trail of blood. However he would hold back such reservations for the time being. She didn't appear hurt in any way or enslaved. And he had promised Kiyoshi he wouldn't go picking fights. Still it would be nice to have tea with her and catch up with a familiar face.

Esdeath huffed at the words from the man from the leaf. However Itsuki had seemed to know and feel safe around the other man. She went to speak instead turning around to the gate walking towards it past Itsuki. As she past her hand gently grasped her partners before she leaned in.

"Be careful please, I see you trust this man and his group but please.." She squeezed to get her point across.

"Be safe, if anything happens find me, or ill find you." She let go walking to the gate.

"OPEN THE GATE!" Her voice shrill like an winters night.

"Welcome to Kirigakure." She bowed motioning to the village.

"I will" she whispered back to Esdeath before her partner walked off.

Turning her attention back to the group, she saw how Oda eyed Esdeath as with a hint of malice. "Lord now? I hope all prospers and all your findings are in good faith. I have learned so much since I left and hope to learn more." She tried to step off to the side of of the path to the gate to let them through. "If he is a crafter, I hope to soon see what he makes to sale here. Maybe I'll see you there too."

As the gates of the village opened, a smile would cross Kiyoshi's face. For now, he would look for a place to rest, and then tomorrow he would begin his work. Hearing the young Hinode's comment to Oda, Kiyoshi would chuckle slightly. "You two are welcome to come by my shop any time and check out my wares, I am sure that I can provide you with anything that you may need. At a discount, as thanks for the warm welcome." Kiyoshi stated with a smile and only slightly mocking tone before entering through the gates.

As the sound of the shores began to die off and the motion of the vessel came to a slow halt Burittsu awoke to the silence and stillness. Opening the door to reveal the darkness of the night as he headed out to see the old captain tying down his vessel so it wouldn’t drift away. Placing Samehada upon his back and picking up the deadly women once more placing her upon both his shoulders as her arms dangled about. Burittsu made his way quickly out and on to the docks before tipping the older gentleman enough to get him something to eat and drink.

A little thanks for taking care of them on their journey back home. It had been months since he left but he was glad he could bring back one comrade with Kaida upon his shoulders. His new look would be different from when he left as he traveled the path taking in the cooler air as the atmosphere was missed he recalled the secrets that the mist itself was hiding. The beauty of nature underneath the mist was something that he couldn’t wait to see once the sun cracked and the breeze pushed through. For now he pushed ahead through the darkness of the forest before reaching what seemed to be the open gates of his home.

Smiling from within Blitz was indeed happy at the results of the trip, cheering his own victory for overcoming the trials before them. Burittsu could only chuckle on the outside as he made his way through the gates bowing his head at the two guards who haven’t seen this individual in months. And yet he returned with only one comrade upon his shoulders and she herself was asleep. Samehada could only enjoy the nourishment that was before it as it continued to feast upon the chakra of the beast within.

Bowing his head slightly Burittsu figured it was no point to walk the rest of the way with Kaida upon his back as he gently removed her from his shoulders and placed her body in the arms of the guards. Letting them take her to the hospital for proper care and treatment little do they know she overstepped her limits and ate most of the Kage’s food. Likely enough to give her stomach pains for a couple hours yet she was indeed a successful shinobi in not causing trouble when there was no reason to engage.

Wise for being such a danger and yet they worried about him coming after him thinking it would be a problem.
Burittsu was now home dissatisfied with the way it all played out; it was clear he needed to have a talk with certain people before returning home. Cracking his neck and stretching his body, Burittsu made his next destination to the office of the Mizukage hoping to get some answers for the madness he had to embrace with his new comrades across the sea.

Finding an unfamiliar stench across the borders, her feet pressing into the dirt, her nose twitching with every scent that went through her nose. She closed her eyes, what seemed to be dark and black, now faded slowly into a light, finding herself into a new world, Menza.

Hisha had only recently been going through his new training regimen to learn a few techniques in this particular case the technique of the finger carving seal which would be quite useful to him. The ability was a rather simple one for those who used fuinjutus techniques and even more useful for those who practiced enchantment arts like he had been working on recently. It was perhaps a touch odd he had not yet learned it but until now he had had no real reason to do so and so he had been practicing the ability to focus his chakra into the tips of his fingers and use it to force a kind of carving or etching into a material of his choice to allow it to bear his seal. He also used his toes and even his tongue to see if he were able to do that as well.

It was this that was on eof the last things that he had remembered, that of the training he had been doing, prior to almost suddenly awakening before a huge floating castle. Had he dozed off in order to get here r was he hallucinating? Was this some kind of trick of his blood line abilities or perhaps even a curse? He could not be certain but there before him beckoned a looming castle as if someone or something within it was reaching its hands out to rasph him and tell him that he was needed with its fine but strange walls.

He awoke then with a kind of fright, jerking awake at the sudden change in his surroundings and finding himself sitting in his own bed in his small loft of an apartment, sweat dripping down his naked body. He hopped in the shower as he recalled the strangeness of his recent experience but the oddness stuck with him. He relaixed that today was the day he would be training with none other than the mizukage him self and so he got ready quickly before heading out but wanted to have trained another technique he had been formulating quickly even though the thought of it scared him a little. It was a genjutsu.

The technique was simle thought and shouldn’t cause any real problems. He would find a random person on the street and extend his chakra to them to make contact and force them to begin maninly hearing what he wanted them to as if her were talking with them. It would serve his purpose for communications but he somehow felt as if there were something laughing loudly and histarically as he did so.

Drifting again as if in a dream, Hisha not so much traveled as simply awoke in a new place, unsure what was real and what was false. This strange sensation of the call of that mystical castle and its never-ending halls.

Lately in the village Burittsu had been busy managing the village, walking through the streets and gazing upon the influx of people within his walls. The citizens of Kumogakure working hard to provide for their families and themselves amongst the people of Kirigakure a little bit of violence broke out. Yet Burittsu forever dawned in his crimson demonic like armor was somehow present before the situation would escalate. The past week alone it felt as if he was expanding the village to become more versatile for the future. Burittsu felt that this mission must be one of the dreams he desired to keep the people happy; he'd be their weapon if they called. Regardless of knowing himself he would be the first one out to battle over time he didn’t know how deep he would get but taking care of the people was a simple task. Upon this same day after walking the streets out into the late night of Kirigakure the inner ring appeared to have caught a forecast of snow covering the Mizukage’s Mansion down to the Academy of Kirigakure.

A work of his own creation snowing down upon the streets giving the people something to look forward to. He planned to move it around the village randomly yet the thought of that was something only a kind and beneficial leader would do. Only time would tell as of now the inner rings of the village caught the best of the jutsu. Burittsu could be seen patrolling the night streets doing his own work in an attempt to keep his village safe. Out in the open for all to see he had no worries only motives yet through all his worrying. After his recent claims he now carried upon each hand four golden rings each for his own amusement.

Upon his arsenal was each of his beloved artifacts keeping them close to face any encounter that he might run into yet he promised to never shed a sword upon his people. He ended up patrolling towards and out of the gates catching the two sets of Jounin guarding the gates. Simply giving them a pat on both of the shinobi’s shoulders and thanking them for being courageous leaving past the gates Burittsu decided to take a walk into the dark misty forest. The lights upon the side of the trail were brightly lit with fresh new lights yet the dark shadows behind the trees made it no less a threat. Knowing anything can be outside was the thrill of the title named shinobi. On this walk Burittsu managed to remember a certain swordswomen who followed him on his journey to Konoha.

Annoying yet he didn’t mind her company whenever he needed to fight the two did go back far he chuckled about the thought. Yet it was cut short as the surface of the water before him was seen as the Mizukage now entered the perimeter of where it all began. Just as he before jumped on a boat and began his adventure not just with her but even another Yuki he wondered if another adventure would come his way. Standing upon the docks gazing at nothing but darkness the six foot two dark blue hair and eyes man. Remaining motionless as if he was awaiting a signal it took a moment but after a couple minutes he gave up only to turn his back only to walk in and the main building of the establishment.

Leaving a large bag of ryo behind his counter freezing the bag against the wall. As he headed back out he only could raise one hand in thanks for the hard work that they made his way out the door. On the dark waters a boat drifted into view making its way into the docking area drifting in slowly but cautiously. The adventure had seemed to begin for Burittsu. It was if this new visitor would be friend or foe smiling at the chance to battle an invader could be a story to tell Sero and the rest. Laughing a little bit as he thought of Kaida treating him like a boy made him take a deep breath and keep his guard up yet hands remained at his sides. He could only wait in the darkness peering over underneath his hat.
