Kumogakure Gates

Seid is back in this bitch once again. No time for wasting with the pleasantries as he had a mission to attend to. He was sure the Jounin assigned to be his backup would catch up with him afterwards. He had to get going as time was of the essence. He smacked his armored chest. His black and and gold embroidered armor was fully set on his body from chest to toe. He had all his tools on him and was ready to depart. There was no telling the amount of danger he was in by going to the Land of Demons he was sure to find out.


[Exit -> To the Sea -> Land of Demons]

Like old times, Khai was the one to stop him at the gates. But this time he wasn't leaving for the sake of leaving. He asked him a number of questions. But Seid waved them aside to answer, "I'm with Morikawa this time." He said pointing towards Mori who was already at the gates. "I must've forgotten to give the mission specs to the front desk." Which Seid did pointing out he was here before, and that he was going to be heading out on a mission. "If you have any other questions. You can ask Mori as I am the one leading this mission." He said gesturing to Mori. Then he continued on his journey.

This mission seemed a bit of a nuisance in Morikawa's mind. Whether it was from the hands of an Anbu or not Morikawa still didn't like this one bit. Supposedly it was under the name of Kumogakure, but if that was the case then they wouldn't be pestering another nation's assets. Granted Morikawa can't exactly blame others for reacting negatively towards the Walking Death's actions, but this goes beyond Kumogakure's jurisdiction. As this could potentially spark a war they don't need right now.

However Morikawa is a shinobi of Kumogakure and as such he is obligated to obey orders from higher status of political power. Still the jounin did not expect their man is going to just come with them no questions asked since the rumors speak of Ken as a ruthless warrior that'll very much cleave a man in half if he so much as suspects of betrayal. He donned his titanium scaled leather coat as he carried a bag of supplies on his shoulders. At the gates Morikawa made sure to sign at the registrations office that he was departing on a mission to apprehend Ken Tetsudashi. Morikawa can't really say how much time it'll take, but for the sake of it Morikawa put 6 weeks as it'll give him a month and a half to do this. Then Morikawa departed for the Land of Demons.

It seems that the Jounin Kouen was assigned with had to go for an entirely different mission, a bit agitated that it came at the last second but it seemed to be rather important if he had to be called away from the mission with Kouen, he wouldn't really pry into it and just head on home.

It was good to be home. After negotiations took a turn for the worst, Seid was able to make it out of the pickle he was in. Largely due to luck as he was dealt with an unhealthy amount of unluckiness. Kumogakure had grown on him these past years and he was willing to do these crazy things for it to thrive. Though he wondered rather the Church was becoming more present in the nature of the villages affair. The plan had not gone accordingly, and he was sure he would have to report this to the Raikage, as he had a very special guest as well. He waved too to Iro who was the one guarding the gates. Walking up to the gates he was greeted by the other guards. He filled out whatever paperwork was needed to say that he returned. "I also have our...guest. Here as well. The Raikage needs to know that the 'Walking Death' has arrived."

Ken and Seid had spent a lot of time talking over the trip he learned quite a bit about the boy much more mature than he ever expected when he first met him. He hoped he had shown the boy he was not as much of a monster as they had made him out to be. He had a country finally recovering from all the corruption and set free to finally build a strong country, he did not know what to expect in Kumo but he suspected some deception toward his former land, as he understood Kumo likely wanted no part of a war. As they made their way to the gate he waited for the procedure to happen, it seemed Kumo was very strict in their enforcement of protocol. He was rather impressed but it also made him well aware of the situation he was in. He would need to be on his best behavior or else he could have his life ended in a moment. Ken stood before the much smaller Iro and smiled offering his hand to shake it if she refused that was fine but he let her register his chakra signature.

"The name is Tetsudashi Ken I am expected."

He would continue with Seid once he was allowed to enter, he certainly had to meet with the kage and was sure that was the first location he would be shown to. If not there they would prod him for information on his former home, he had some information he would give but there were some things he would never mention, his surviving brother and sister would not be known in this village. He simply wanted them to live in peace outside of his shadow and his actions in the world, nor did he want anyone to know of a child he had while away from his village for five years. He would never mention them and simply hoped the mother and child remained safe in the land where he had met her, the land of Suna.

Honiko and her disciples flew over the gates on Balerion's back. Their business in Kumogakure had concluded and there was much to do elsewhere. The Dragon Sage did not look back as the city faded into the distance. She suspected that she might have to return but nothing was certain in this world.

Raijin had the rare chance to see Kumogakure from the sky. Balerion flapped his giant wings with the aid of the turbulent skies. Everyone stopped to look at the dragon leaving the village in a hurry. Bayushi felt nothing as he looked at the village with disgust, he was even looked down upon in the tournament as well. The world would have their laugh, none of that was ever important. He was on the verge of finding true power, all he had to do was become patient. Hone his craft, and become the strongest. Healthy thoughts. Healthy goals. He thought to himself as they left the village in the clouds.

Nozomi took a pause in her drawing as they flew over the gates. "Lady Nariko wanted us to use them, not fly over them." she said before looking back down and continuing her drawing of the horizon and cityscape. She didn't seem to care one way or another, just throwing it out there as a thought. "Where too next?"

The ride was going to be a long one, but she had nothing but time to draw and think.

Iro had nothing unusual to report. It appeared the Shinobi from Kumogakure finally learned gate procedure. With Honiko and her gang finally leaving Kumogakure she was relived they were out. Nariko and Honiko agreed on a ceasefire during the tournament, but a criminal's sophrosyne knew no bounds. She figured they would be ready to back stab Kumogakure's grace at any given moment. Even now she was not sure if Honiko had planted something in Kumogakure or if their goal was to scout the village. There was comfort with them leaving and hopefully going somewhere far away.

Her shift was done at the gates. Signing her name off she entered Kumogakure again knowing it was safe. She'd rest up and get ready for her next task after a weekend.

Natsuru wears black undergarments which are concealed by a long, black loincloth which extends just to the sides of her knees on the front and back still providing suitable coverage. Around her right thigh she wears a simple, small black leather belt. Attached on the belt is a dark gray lacquered scabbard sized for a tanto. Another black belt is worn around her waist which serves to hold her quiver located around her back side. This belt is accompanied with a hip pouch above her rear and a katana on her left side, the scabbard design mimicking that of the tanto.

A mesh, sleeveless undershirt covered her body as a set of riveted mail is worn over the undershirt. As her primary top she wears a simple black leotard fitted to her body type. Naturally, her mail shirt beneath her top extends slightly down her upper arm adding some additional protection. On both hands Natsuru wears a pair of long gloves which extends just below her elbows made with the same material of cloth and quality as her stockings. These are backed by a pair of soft leather arm guards protecting her forearm and back hand leaving a small soft part on her wrist still allowing flexibility and a pair of leather combat gloves with metal plating on the backs of the hands. Her bow is worn across her chest with the front of the bow between her bosom and the string running across her back, the natural properties of the bow clinging itself to her body. Over her torso is a black cloak that extended down to the backs of her knees with a down hood, the mantel thick and well-insulated.

Natsuru has very fair skin with an almost ink-like navy blue hair, which matches her eyes in the same regards. Her hair runs down her back inside of the cloak's cover down to her rear end with a few bunches of hair touching down her breasts. Standing at 5'11 she has a very slender frame which maximizes her role as an archer giving her a statuesque vibe. Alas, a highly decorated Indian-style necklace made of silver and ruby was worn around her neck resting atop her chest serving as a relish for the stunning Kunoichi.

She made sure to check in with the front desk security showing her ID as she did. "I am back from my vacation. I know I am a month over the time I put the request in for. I will explain it to Lady Nariko if need be." The guards nodded allowing her access inside the walls and writing down her "tardy" arrival. Natsuru was not all too much interested in seeing Nariko or anything related to her "job" at the moment. It has been too long since she had been at her penthouse and played her game or caught up on her readings. After all this traveling and vacation she needed some time to rest up and become familiar with her home again.

[Enter Kumogakure]

Morikawa finally returns home, and not a moment too soon apparently. Upon arriving the gates Morikawa follows the usual procedure of checking in before entering the city. Hopefully someone can tell him what was going through their minds when they set out two of their capable shinobi when a good portion of their forces have been taken by the plague. At the very least did someone take Frost? Morikawa was prepared for that one, but first things first he needs to attend to his lab.

Shimiko walked out to the gates of Kumogakure. She planned on taking a sensitive and important diplomatic mission. She filled out the necessary paperwork and then prepared to head out. She was wearing her signature Chinowakugumi and was armed with her twin tessen, six sai, and of course both of her enchanted Kālīkoroshimasu. She commandeered 3 A-Rank Scout Groups, and 5 A-Rank Guard Groups. As ANBU Captain she had the power to raise and lead such a force. She had invited three genin to come with her on the trip. The first three genin that came with her would be permitted to do so. Shimiko would instruct the group on their mission and then headed out. Oh and Mora made sure that Yanagi got brought with the party too.

Leora, a fiery genin who recovered from the test without issue, arrives at the gates as word reached her attention that Shimiko Chinoike was offering to allow genin to attend with her. Leora garbed in her bag of supplies and her hand keeping the chokuto steady on its belt. Her armor makes little noise as it is given her leather armor, but Leora has been pondering to fix that soon. For now Leora hurries after Shimiko and her groups of men+women who look more than capable of handling themselves. Leora is respectful as she listens to every word being spoken to her, and once she has been briefed on the mission Leora was a bit relieved that this was going to be a diplomatic mission. Once Leora signs herself off from the gates as it was standard protocol, the fiery Uzu follows behind Shimiko as they depart for the Hozuki Isle.

The twins were informed of Shimiko that there was a mission and of course they wanted to tag along. They were a great support team while they focused on learned more offense they offered the squad of genins a great set of support skills and abilities. They hurried to the gate knowing it was limited the amount of genin she was taking. Wearing their typical battle priest garb the pair would fuse as one and make it to the gate running up and hugging Shimiko before smiling and nodding to any others that were there. The twins made sure to do the proper sign out procedures as they certainly did not want to deal with angry Shimiko or Leora.

They would walk up to various shinobi and pray a blessing of lord Jashin to them all, while Jashin needed deaths they did not want any unneeded deaths. They wanted only those that needed to die for lord Jashin to die. After the prayers, they would rush off with Shimiko following closely behind with their steps a bit and smiling the entire time.

The air was crisp today. It held the promise of something greater than itself. Of course, that could have just been the ambiance of living in one of the great Hidden Villages. Yagami pat his stomach as he walked through the great Gates of Kumo. It could also have been that third bowl of Soba and eel, but that would fix itself in time. He was garbed in his usual clothing with the metal bo latched across his back. He looked over the rolled post in his hand one more time, confirming that he was one of several to meet up with a 'Shimiko' for this assignment. The Genin rolled his shoulder until it gave a satisfying pop as he waited, all the while musing that this Mission would hopefully go better than the last one.

Darkseid was becoming bothered. The hot weather was contributing to his discomfort as well. Though he had been in Kumo for years, the weather was pretty one sided. It was either too hot or too cold. But nevertheless, a ninja was called for in all sorts of weather. Especially for a mission. The Chuunin arrived and signed with the gate guards, alerting them he was going to take a Genin along with him as well. And that they should expect them back in a few weeks time. The mission didn't seem all that time consuming. But you could never tell within these lands. Darkseid was always cautious. Which was why he was fully armed and was equipped with a Chuunin flak jacket. Now he was to wait for his partner for the mission.

Andalusa arrived not long after Darkseid, well dressed in his black suit, reinforced shoes, red overcoat, and gold scarf. His long black hair was undone, allowing it to fall naturally behind him down to his lower back. He held a lit cigar between his teeth as he moved toward the gate guards. He'd stop before them, taking the cigar out of his mouth, looking away from them, and blowing out the smoke. He'd then proceed to lift up a shoe, and tap the cigar out, and put it in a pocket within his coat before nodding toward the gate guards and signed the necessary forms. He was assigned to go off on a mission with a man named 'Darkseid' and one other as a team. He wasn't quite sure if he was ready to leave the village for a mission yet, but he figured the powers that be wouldn't have assigned him a mission they didn't think he could do. Once he finished signing out he'd turn and find a man waiting. Andalusa would walk up to the man, seeing a chunin flak jacket, light brown/beige hair and blue eyes that seemed to glow. As he moved his hands would brush against the new weapons pouches on his waist, holding the equipment he'd bought for the mission he was to depart on. "Darkseid? is it? Andalusa Yamato, I'm assigned to your team for this mission" He'd say politely, a friendly smile on his face as they began to wait for the third member.

Chuunin did not often receive missions that involved a lot of risk. Villages generally preferred to overpower the odds in their favor ensuring the least amount of causalities. The average Chuunin performed basic patrol duties and guarding serving an important role in the village. Every so often the best Chuunin were signed up for a task involving sabotage, assassination, or information gathering. Today was one of those days. Like many Shinobi she wears the common black sandals which secure her feet and ankles. Iro wears a pair of loose fitting black pants which extend shortly above her ankles, which she has wrapped in a set of white bandage wrap. Her pants are paired with a black sleeveless, backless top with a white undershirt in the same design. Her utility belt was worn around her waist which held a first aid on the back side next to her hip pouch and a single holster on her right. A single, tan obi is worn around her waist. Black leather arm guards covered both arms from the back of the hand up to the elbows. On her left forearm she wore a set of platinum bracelets which glowed a dim azure blue. Slapped over her body was a dark gray flak jacket with three scroll holsters, the basic secondary flak jacket provided by Kumogakure. A leather baldric is worn across her body where she carries a quarter staff made entirely of oak.

Around her forehead Iro sports her forehead protector. In a black cloth she has the forehead protector's steel plate facing the front with Sunagakure's emblem engraved on the plate. Iro has long, plum hair which is fastened in a long ponytail using a tan hair tie. She keeps the rest of her hair parted in the front with two long bangs reaching down to her chin. Iro herself stands 5'8 and weighs approximately 135 lbs. With deep tan skin she bares golden amber eyes. Iro has an impressive athletic figure including a toned abdomen with muscle work shown around her body.

Iro was not foreign to killing. Being a devout Hindu she practiced Ahisma, or non-violence. Although she was non-violent she was not a pacifist by any means. She would participate in justifiable killings when deemed necessary. It was part of her job, after all, and the natural order of the universe. In the end she did prefer to detain criminals, and there were always options of criminal reform, but some deserved a quick and merciless death. She'd casually arrive at the gates with the other two in a chipper mood, albeit a bit nervous about taking on the mission. She'd present herself in full, bowing respecting following her greeting. "Namaste, Seid, Andalusa." Iro was quite familiar with Seid. He was another Chuunin and a bit of an odd one. At least that's what her memory best serves her. She recalled him attempting to leave the village at one point in his youth. Coupled with persistent failure to abide by gate rules made him a bit of a suspect. But nonetheless he earned the respect of the Raikage. Andalusa was someone she had never heard of. That was before she caught his introduction during her approach.

"Don't forget to sign out. It's important to always follow this procedure when leaving the village." Iro followed the same protocol that has been enacted with Kumogakure ever since its growing success. Her name, destination, reason, and duration all matching Seid's document. She'd join up with Seid after she had finished allowing the new Genin to exercise the gate protocol. "Long time no see. How have you been?" Iro said making small talk to the Otsutsuki passing a pearly white grin making herself presentable to her comrade. It was not often she got to meet up with her allies. She always found herself stuck in Kumogakure's gate security booth or wandering the streets following a simple patrol. Today was truly something special and something to look forward to.

The group was gathering. Darkseid had been chatting with the guards at the gate. The news of the Walking Death being within the village was bustling news. Seid noticed in the corner of his eyes Andalusa approaching. Clad in a black suit he walked up to him after signing out with the other Chuunin at the desk. She greeted Darkseid and made her introductions, "Yes I am Darkseid. Welcome to the team Andalusa. We're just waiting for one more."

No sooner had he said it that another approached. Iro, usually posted at the gates, would be joining them for this mission. Iro also greeted them. She was wearing armor and was prepared for the mission like they all were. Seid nodded to her and replied, "Well met Iro. I've had better times after being captured by the Walking Death. All is well now. The Genin has signed out and we're ready to depart. The farmers are expecting us in a timely manner. Lets go."

Iro nodded in agreement to Seid's statement. It was good knowing things were well for him. Seid had been quite busy since the tournament. When she finished writing up her departure notice she regrouped with Seid and the new guy. "Alrighty. I'll follow your lead." She said trusting Seid knew how to follow directions. Traveling with the squad Iro would make haste to the Takagamahara region of the Land of Lightning.

Andalusa, returning to the village of Kumogakure at sunset, would enter the village gates. Striding up to the desk with the shinobi on station doing check ins and signing his name in as have returned to the village. He would then proceed inside, heading toward one of the traininig grounds. He had work to do, and he wouldn't let someone as trivial as the day and night cycle keep him from it.

Shimiko arrived back in Kumogakure with the rest of her squad. Her mission had been a success in some ways and a failure in others. She had managed to piss off the Mizukage, but in exchange, she had opened the possibility of friendship with two of the village's clans. Hopefully, that would at least give them some breathing room for the time being. The threat of outright war had been averted but relations were still strained. Perhaps only time could heal that wound. Now that her job was done, Shimiko could focus on her upcoming trip with the twin. It had been postponed due to this new mission but now that she was free, she would absolute sure that they'd be able to head up to the mountains. She also did that stupid check-in thing.
