A MAD SCIENTIST'S RESEARCH SAGA PT.3 (ROTWANG, SHIGO, TADARA, DIANA)

It had been some time since Rotwang's latest adventures and these ones had come in the form of the first handful of missions that he had been assigned to complete by the Tsuchikage's Office and the missions department therein. Since then, Rotwang had gotten back to his usual daily routine which consisted of a rather tightly scheduled set of events which invariably took him away from his one true love, that being his ongoing and ever-burgeoning mad science research. This was, of course, because those activities had consisted of things such as assisting his parents with further establishment of the roots of their business conglomerate, aka SteinCorp, in the Land of Earth and more specifically in Iwa, meeting and mingling with the heirs and heiresses of various clans and other business families based in this new home of theirs, getting ever more practical experience in overseeing product development and testing, and so on.

So, time marched on for Rotwang thusly until the present day wherein he had barricaded himself within the confines of his lab that was located in the basement of the central mansion in his family's estate once again, the purpose for this being of course, the resumption of his his one true love, that being his ongoing and ever-burgeoning mad science research. However, this period of peace and quiet did not last long for him since he was called to action once again, with the reason this time being a missive sent to him by his commanding officer, Shigo Kazehana, to meet her in The Stone Yard yet again

Hmm...vat iss nov?...A mezzage from zomeone, perhepz?...Or iss it...zome mizzife?...Eizzer vay...I do hope it dozz not end up beink too troublesome...

Rotwang thought silently as he stirred from beneath the veritable mountain of countless research notes on various subjects of interest that he was currently buried under in his own private research lab located in the basement of his family mansion. Then, after he finally managed to drag himself out from underneath said pile of research notes, he perused the note that he had sensed someone leave on the table in the corner and upon doing so, he realized it was a missive informing him about his current task, namely one sent to him by his commanding officer, Shigo Kazehana, to meet her in The Stone Yard yet again

Ah...I zee...zo zis iss a follow-up azzezzment uff zome zort vich zis kommentink officer uff mine haz planned fur me after zat razzer poor schowink uff mine in ze team trial zat sche had uz all undergo a vile bakk...

Rotwang thought silently as he read through the missive and memorized the details of the missive so that he would not have to carry the scroll around with him. Then, he readied himself in his now standard fashion of donning some basic clothing first, then equipping his Talos Mk-I puppet armor over them, and finally donning his usual scientist's attire consisting of his polarized lab goggles which he wore on his head followed by a white lab coat which had chemical stains on some parts of it along with other signs of wear and tear that was to be expected of such an attire piece of a budding mad scientist like him that he wore on his upper torso, a light-colored formal shirt with a necktie having a knot done in classic Eldredge fashion that he wore beneath the lab coat, dark-colored formal pants that he wore over his lower torso and legs, and finally...a pair of light-colored surgical gloves that he wore on his hands and which had similar chemical stains as his lab coat and his dark-colored patent leather shoes that he wore as footwear.

Of course, he did realize that this was highly unorthodox for a ninja to wear, but he was not one to care about adherence to convention, so he did not pay it any mind, but instead, he headed out to rendezvous point for the assessment follow-up, namely The Stone Yard, after informing his family's support staff where he would be for the day. Little did he know that this meetup would soon turn into something a lot more complex that would involve him accompanying a certain infamous fellow mad scientist of Iwa on a trip abroad to a rather wet and humid place in the ninja world.

With Shigo and Hikaru awaiting within the stone yard, she played with her sands gourd, making out different materials and objects from the sand. “Hmm…” Her eyes trailed along the stone yard, waiting for Rotwang to show up so she could test him based off his abilities alone. She would take it easy on him by using only Taijutsu, however it was still something she needed to progress on his part. Hikaru remained playing around, making jabs at the air, continuously training while Shigo was lost in her mind. Her gold eyes looked up to see the scientist coming up to the yard in which she would stand up and place both her hands on her hips. She wore a skin tight shirt with leggings, Shinobi shoes and her gourd that remained on her back. “Stein. Nice for you to show up.” She’d call out, glancing to Hikaru who would stop and how to Stein as he got closer. “As you know, this is a test specifically for you, mainly in combat. I’ll assess you and we’ll go from there. Is there anything you need to tell me before we start?”

The stone yard had a history of battle hardened would be jounin training there. The stones themselves were marred with scorches, cuts and even some old blood here and there. They were worn and chipped in most places but still they held strong. One might even consider such a place a metaphor for the village as a whole. After all Iwa had been through a great deal. Yet still they stood here thriving. Though it was the only standing squad in the village the squad under Shigo and Shigo herself were not well known. Still it had taken little for Tadara to gather information on the two members here today. At least what was available publicly about them. Rotwang was a researcher in the chemical arts he understood while Shigo was a ninjutsu specialist. A capable jounin at that. One who was rumored to have undying loyalty to the village. However Tadara had not come for either. Not that neither interested him...this was just where Diana was vaguely scheduled to be. So they may notice something only slightly out of place here. A set of ten bees had spread out and were examining the stone yard in a perfect grid pattern.

Tadara himself was in a thermal lined lab coat. He was dressed formally enough to go straight back to work in the hospital. Dress shoes were modified to have more grip on the bottom allowing for him to move tactically. The bottoms despite having tread were padded to prevent sound when he walked. Black slacks were tucked over them with a plain black belt and a white button up shirt was tucked into said pants. His white hair hung about his head as flat as his personality. However it was the eyes that drew attention. Something within them was empty. Missing. As if there was something not entirely whole about him. No joy or fear. Simply blank eyes staring as if they could see far more than normal people. Yet he did not seem to blink outside of the slow scheduled blinking. For most it was difficult to look him in the eyes. But he suspected that would suit him or her well. Still without protocol what was man but savage beasts. So Tadara would approach the squad meeting. He would stop a few meters away. Empty gaze glancing between the two of them. Speaking in a plain monotone.

"A test of taijutsu skill? How interesting. I myself am not talented with taijutsu but I am a chunnin, If you wanted a more even test."

Irena Cerise Moneta:

Instead of the Tsuchikage arriving at the Stone Yard like some reports would have assumed, a different sight would emerge. A woman who looked to be in their late teens/early twenties with porcelain-white skin and garnet red hair, wearing a black dress with a white Peter Pan collar & cuffs, with one of Diana's Basic Under Armor suits underneath. Over her right forearm was a golden rope, the Sage Tool Kōkinjō, and strapped to her back was a crossbow of Diana's own design, the Guren Hanarete Proto, with ten simple crossbow bolts in a quiver. It was rare she was seen without any of these, especially the Rope, but that was the price she paid for being the prototype of the Warmachina.

Walking up to the four shinobi, Irena would greet each of them. "Shigo Kazehana, Rotwang Frankenstein, I do not know you;...and Tadara Kamizuru." While Irena had a monotone voice like Diana, she did not hide her contempt for the Chunin as her tone switched to a customer service voice for the bee boi specifically. She had been the one to suggest to Diana that he should be executed for what he did in Sunagakure and not kept alive, but it had been denied. Diana and her had a decent amount to talk about, even if they did not do it often. It was also thanks to this that Irena kept the administration up and running while the Kage was on her 'spiritual journey' or whatever.

Back to her monotone voice, Irena would speak again. "It seems that I have arrived in the middle of something. Please, do not mind me, it is not often I have time to watch shinobi train." Irena would take a seat on one of the rocks in the yard, curious to see whatever these shinobi were planning. "Please, continue doing whatever you were doing. My message can wait till after you have beaten each other to a pulp."

Rotwang had just arrived at the Stone Yard, and upon checking the area out, he spotted Shigo and headed over stand before her at attention. It was then that he heard her speak about what was on the agenda for the day, and that thing was apparently going to be some sort of combat test tailored to him specifically. Additionally, he also heard her ask him if there was anything that he would like to inform her about before they began, so he thought silently for a few moments, he spoke in his naturally thick foreign accent and that innately rich baritone voice of his while maintaining his usual, well-practiced, natural-seeming cordial facial expression and matching smile on his face which he always put on as his default socially acceptable facade

"Vell, it vas an official zummonz from you, after all...zo, it vould not behoofe me to ignore it or mizz it in zome ozzer faschion...after all, I am supposed to be your loyal subortinate fur az long as you vill be mein kommentingkt officer...now zat you mention it...zere are zree zinks zat I vant to make note uff fur you before ve begin...one uff zem beink a qfery...if I may azk, vat zort uff kombat tezt vill zis be? Ze ozzer iss mein humble reqfest fur you to temper any expectations you may haf uff mein kombatife kapacity  as I haf zpecialized meinzelf into beink more uff a schcientist zan a soldier...undt laztly, uff kourse, iss ze fact zat I schall schtill be endeaforink to rize up to vhatefer expektationz zat you do haf uff me undt mein kapacity to ze bezt uff mein ability undt mein ability undt mein adfance apology to you if I end up failink to meet zaid expektationz dezpite mein bezt efforts to do zo."

Rotwang fell silent there to wait for Shigo's reaction to his reply and while he waited, he noticed a stranger walking up to the both of them and mentioning something about offering himself up as a potential opponent for Shigo to spar with after the assessment she was about to do for him. So, for his part, Rotwang gave the newcomer a silent once-over examining him to glean whatever he could about him. Four things stood out preeminently to him upon the conclusion of his examination and the first of those was his unique attire style which he had not imagined anyone else in Iwa besides himself also preferring thanks to how strict of a military state it was to his knowledge and that had led him to presume that all other ninja besides himself wore a more typically ninja-associated outfit ensemble most of the time. The other notable things that Rotwang noticed about him was that he chose to not give his name or introduce himself before engaging them in conversation and that he had a very monotone speech style and empty eyes. These observations then led Rotwang to notice that this newcomer was a sort of kindred spirit to himself, or at least to his true self which he hid away behind his socially acceptable facade. Nevertheless, he acknowledged the man's response with one of his own

"Greetinkz...I am Rotwang Frankenstein...but you kan addrezz me az Schtein if you prefer...undt I zee now zat I am not ze only von who preferz ze researcher's attire enzemble in Iwa...zo perhaps you are a kindred spirit uff zortz? Now zen, regartink zat zparringk offer you chuzt made, pleaze do feel free to do zo after zis tezt uff mine iss komplete...if you do not mind, zat iss, good zir."

Rotwang spoke thus to the man, yet again in his naturally thick foreign accent and that innately rich baritone voice of his. Then, even though he did not think it would matter to the man if he gave him the usual expected proper bow after his intro to newcomers, but he did so anyway to keep up his facade of social acceptability, all the while keeping his well-practiced and natural seeming as well as cordial businessman's smile on his face. After that, he fell silent and waited for the man to react in whatever way he saw fit and while waiting for him, he noticed yet another newcomer to this little meeting he was called to attend by Shigo for his individual assessment. This one was a woman who looked as business-like and no-nonsense as did his commanding officer, aka Shigo Kazehana, so he chose to silently wait while listening to what she had to say after her arrival. Then, he remarked to her as well after performing his usual silent once-over to try to glean whatever he could about her from his examination

"Ah, I zee...well, it iss qfite underztentable zat you vould not be avare uff me beyond mein name...for I am merely a freschly minted Genin belongink to ze most recent graduatink Akademy batch...undt I haf only recently been azzigned to ze uzual zree unit cell uff nincha unter mein kommentink officer here, zo zere iss zat as vell...ent also becauze I certainly do not pozzezz any zort uff notable akkomplischmentz to mein name...zough, I muzt zay, gifen how famouz mein kommentink officer zeemz to be undt vit her official Chonin schtatus, it iss interestink to me zat you do not know uff her as vell...ah, pleaze do not take any offenze at zis remark uff mine az it vas merely made out uff mein genuine undt innokuouz kuriozity about zis matter undt it vas not meant as a dizparagink komment uff any zort, good mizz."

Once that was done, Rotwang fell silent once more and waited for whatever was going to happen to him next in the situation, all the while wondering why the two newcomers had shown up to this test setup meeting with Shigo that he was going to be having, as neither of them had disclosed any info regarding the purpose of their making contact with him and Shigo yet.

Shigo would cross her arms and let the sand come around her, sticking her hand out, half listening to Steins request and what he had to say. His accent was too thick for Shigo to really understand, making it kind of irritable. However, in order for Shigo to be a decent team leader, she would need to be respectful. “Right. Well, we’ll spar and Tadara, was it? If you’d like to test your abilities as a promotion, I can spar with you and I will let Lady Diana know of your result.” She would cock her head to the side, subtly asking if it was alright. While her hand remained out, her fingers would spread out, her other hand following along as a dark metal would swirl among her arms. Two different types of metal forming around her hands, slowly building up to make hand he’d gauntlets that would match the form of Shigo’s hands, mending at a quicker place almost as if they were meant to fit together.

“Because this is a different type of spar, I will hold nothing back. Taijutsu is something I lack however I have had the knack for it, being able to learn a bit more than most but not all. I don’t understand the fundamentals, however I can train known techniques. I just don’t know how to make them.” Her eyes would look directly at Rotwang. “Please do not hesitate to go all out. Killing is not an option however. But I do apologize for your puppets in advance.” Her voice echoed almost, directing her voice onto Rotwang, showing that she did not mean to harm him puppets. Her ton of voice didn’t help, she had always sounded so stern like she didn’t care what happened.

While speaking, the gauntlets would form around her hand and tighten, hardening and making a rough clash, metal to metal compressing, signifying that they had eventually melded and it was one. With Shigo’s magnet release, she was able to create weapons at will with the correct materials of any materials that she could possess at the time. Her arms would raise in front of her and her left leg would slide to the side, adjusting her waist and lower to represent a Hard-Soft Style that was taught in Iwa. She didn’t have much strength in this but when it came to contact, she was able to use her strength a bit better with the compensation of her coordination and perception being better while being in this stance. However, the gauntlets she made would help compensate for her loss of strength. “Right. Whenever you’re ready.” Shigo would state while keeping in mind what Stein could do. This would be tricky if he played his cards right but it was all down to how well he was with his puppets.

Tadara would acknowledge the want to continue their practice wordlessly. His empty eyes shifting to each person present before turning and moving out of reach. He would not interrupt further. Truthfully he had an urge to test out his current limitations. However he had a rough estimate of his current capabilities and they were by his estimate average for a jounin. With the possibility of error a high end special Jounin. He had studied details on a few of them but for now he would not remain certain of his hypothesis without an experiment. However it appeared something else entirely was already scheduled. This suited him fine as he was in no hurry. However his eyes would shift slowly to the maid Biomystical Automoton Prototype. The guise of it was that it was simply a maid but he had some idea otherwise. Irena Cerise Moneta. Official documents listed her as a relative of Diana. A cousin. However it was not so easy to fool someone such as Tadara. Still he would pay it no mind. Ignoring the disdain the woman had for him. Even if he was curious as to how she functioned and what had brought her to being. Despite her appearance suggesting she was human....Tadara knew she was not.

Still he would pay her little mind at first. Rotwang and Shigo were to battle first but she was open to the idea of battling with Tadara for a promotional test. Her word after the test giving her more value to being left intact. Not that it would do to kill in a rank up battle. Nor that he could gain anything from attempting to kill. Irena would be witness as well to this but her demeanor suggested she was less than a fan of his. Still he would let his sleeves fill with ten bees. Allowing them to emerge from his skin like water but keeping them on standby for a .1 chakra. So miniscule most may not even note that he had done anything. He specialized in assassination after all. Still he would calmly watch Shigo prepare. She was equipped with two gauntlets it would appear. Though the type of metal was unique...even from here he could ascertain their chemical properties for the tall tale signs of Tetsudashi and Chakra draining steel. So her taijutsu style would be dangerous if she was allowed to touch her opponent at all. Not that his own would be much different.

Still it would appear Rotwang had other things to do besides challenging a jounin in hand to hand combat. Instead he would excuse himself one way or another and leave the area. Blank , dark eyes would follow after him a moment. Before shifting back to Shigo. She was a capable jounin indeed and considered to be fiercely loyal to Diana. She was also a Kazehana. Her control over magnet release was virtually unmatched and even from here he could feel the pressure of her aura. He wondered what part of her caused the sensation of danger. His survival instincts told him to choose another to test against but for now he would simply remain. If his rank up were to happen based on the test expectations Diana had set for her people...he would need to do something of note. For now he remained twenty feet from her. Well out of the way of their taijutsu fight. However as Rotwang had dismissed himself he supposed he would be up next. He would step forward five feet once Rotwang was done. Reaching down quietly as he formed the hand signs Dog-Ox-Rat calmly before striking three points on each leg with his thumbs. Spending nine chakra for a total of ten spent. Stopping at fifteen feet away.

"It appears you're apprentice was not feeling well. Based on the limited data I have on you and the data I have on myself I have taken the necessary measure to put us on even ground. For the sake of the experiment and possible rank advancement, treat me as you would another jounin."

Jutsu 176.9/185:

Still sitting down, Irena would watch as each of the three combatants prepared as she picked at the golden rope. She didn't feel much need for battle, as while she was made to be able to fight, she had found out the hard way that she was rather limited on how much stronger she could get. Plus fighting required more work then she'd want to put effort into anyways, but that was a moot point.

Bearing Diana's medical knowledge, she'd step off to the side to help take care of Rotwang as he dismissed himself from the fight. On one hand it was nice that she wouldn't need to put in effort healing him, but now she had to make sure he was okay and that he made it back safely.

"Seeing as I am not one of the combatants, I will make sure Rotwang makes it to the hospital safely. Try not to make more paperwork for me or the others."

With that, she'd make sure the genin would indeed, make it safely to the hospital, just to make sure it wasn't a return of the plague.

Shigo would properly dismiss her student and nod to Irene who would escort Rotwang to the hospital. She would place a hand on her hip for the time being, pondering as to what may have come over him. Her eyes would travel back to Tadara and she would nod, still keeping her gauntlets up, seeing as they would be beneficial for her. “Right. I shall treat you as another Jounin. Fight me to the best of your ability, no matter the obstacles.” She would place her hands in front of her and wave a hand, magnetic sand coming from her gourd, traveling down to the soles of her Nin shoes. A slick coating would cover the base, allowing a glide like effect to her, boosting her speed considerably. Seeing Tadara ready himself, she’d punch her gauntlets together, making a hard clank and thud like noise, the rocks and metals hitting against the other.


Shigo would look Tadara up and down, seeing as he didn’t have anything to really show for but she wouldn’t allow that to decide her decision on how he was as a Shinobi. If she remembered correctly, Tadara was a scientist of some sort, one who preferred research more than combat, so why use this as a test? Remaining in the hard soft style, Shigo would dart towards Tadara at A+ rank speeds, keeping her hands at a ready stance, able to block or even hit if needed. She would bring her right arm back, holding it back for some point before stopping at 5 feet between, practically reaching that distance within a blink of an eye. She would quickly slash towards Tadara, limited due to her taijutsu style but still perform at C++ speeds, just a little slower than Tadara’s perception intake. A large slash of wind would go against Tadara, reaching him fairly quickly. If Tadara didn’t dodge, he would be met with a painful feeling of sharp wind going against his skin, as if the wind was so cold it could cut. Shigo would use the power of the wind to slow herself down and reach a point where she could turn a bit away from Tadara, now making her way away from him on his right side. It was hard to determine his abilities but this should be able to tell her everything she needs to know based on his reactions.

Description: Shigo will use her magnet release to put on the bottom of her nin shoes to make her skate across the ground without directly touching it. This gives her a +1(+) or 4 advantages in speed. Shigo can also place this on another user with a simple touch, whether it’d be a tap, hand shake or even a one tap, Shigo can transfer some of her magnet release to any target, granting them the 4 advantages as well. Shigo can place this on three people, including her self, the cost going up in rank (S max).
Weaknesses: This jutsu relies on using the magnet sand to get around, so if an opponent disrupts the magnetic sand, it disrupts her movement. While using this jutsu, Shigo is also vulnerable to slipping and not being able make complete stops or precise movements. Preferred to use this in an open area. This applies to other targets as well. When Shigo gets to 50 CP, the first target to get this ability will lose it. Once she hits 30, the remaining targets lose theirs as well and Shigo becomes exhausted unless stated otherwise (A STA for example)

Description: The user waves his hand and creates multiple blades of wind, which combine to form a single, large blade of air. The technique was powerful enough to stop a Susanoo's movements, but is not able to break through its defense.

Tadara would watch his opponent. Analyzing her as he contemplated the match like a series of chess moves. He needed to think moves ahead. Contemplate how to go about this battle. She was a jounin and no slouch either. He needed to play this smart if possible. Still those empty black eyes seemed to hold nothing. Not contempt or malice. Not fear or worry. Just empty endless calculations. Her burst of speed was surprising and had she not stopped she would have been on top of him in an instant. However he had activated his pressure points in preparation for this. As she moved he did to. Linear to her own would be pointless. It would only deny the inevitable so long. Still his eyes could barely keep up with her. A blur of motion. Yet he moved to the right as she drew her blade. Multiple blades of wind forming into one rapidly even as he moved. Diving to the side as he landed on his right hand and used it to rotate him away from the blade. A corner of hid medical coat being obliterated as he barely managed to dodge the C rank attack. Proving at least such attacks were too slow for him as he was for now.

Still when he placed his hand on the ground if anyone had sensory active they would sense a pulse of his chakra move out to a hundred meters around them. A dual set of genjutsu layered upon one another. Though one was yet to be triggered....if she were to remain within a hundred meters of that point he touched a mere five feet from her she would be caught in the false surroundings technique...if she sensed it and broke it...it would trigger the trap for the second one. With the genjutsu placed he would lift his other hand mid spin. Sending out ten honey bees straight at his opponent. Flying at A rank speed a mere five feet from where they were hidden up his sleeve. The ten bees aiming for her face to distract her. Attempting to sting at her face repeatedly but not bothering to flee if she fought them. Allowing themselves to be destroyed in the effort to get in a sting if need be. They were merely an A rank speed distraction that would attempt to blind his target. Either way he was moving to the right attempting to gather distance.

However he had one more technique he could use. Something less simple and more advanced he had been granted permission to learn. Even as he continued to watch his opponent and keep attention on his surroundings he would attempt to gain more distance. Forming the tiger hand seal as he would fade from vision entirely. His scent and shadow fading as well. He was using a significant amount of chakra for now but he would immediately change direction from his run once the technique activated. Moving left to go straight to parallel from her from where he had been. Controlling his breathing and keeping it silent as he moved ten meters from where he had dashed to the side. Roughly fifteen meters away from her if she hadn't followed. Invisible, silent and already beginning to generate another bee technique. Ten more bees that would dart out from his body like liquid and fly up into the sky at A rank speed and away from him. Moving to the sky above her. Watching her and contemplating his next moves. Shigo would remain at a good distance after her attack in which Tadara had successfully dodged. He was smart, there was no doubting that. She would remain about 10 feet out from him after leaving his point, watching the cold black void like eyes thy would stare at her. Something was up but she couldn’t figure it out, leaving Shigo defenseless of this next move. While Tadara placed his hand on the ground, she would allow her sand and materials around her to swirl, making a mirage of some sort, like an intense heat against the ground of an open terrain. This would lower Tadara’s perception just a bit, giving him the illusion of her remaining there. While this mirage was in play, Shigo would make this attempt to slide away, remaining at a 10 foot radius. Once she had turned about 25% of a full circle to the right side. She would would perform a singular hand seal and use her hands to raise something, bringing up a large boulder (5x5x5ft), using the momentum up the boulder to turn her upper body while raising her leg and kicking it to Tadara, flinging it at A speeds.

While the boulder made its way to Tadara, Shigo would make a small sandstorm that would cover the area around them, making invisibly things, visible. This was useful and it was a perfect domain for shigo. She would then make 2 magnet clones that would form and solidify with the magnet particles that it was made up of. These Magnet clones were able to perform magnet techs and could magnetize anything that they touched within reason. This would allow Shigo to try and trick Tadara within the sand like storm on who was who, not knowing if Shigo was really Shigo. “Come on, Doc. Don’t let your bugs do your dirty work.” She would call out, looking around, seeing the body of Tadara but acting oblivious to it. She would await to see his next move, keeping a distance on him as she didn’t know what he could do. However, beyond her knowledge, Tadara had managed to get out bee’s before she even realized, let alone see. The bee’s would come forth to her, causing a delayed reaction, in which her head would turn and she would be struck in the eyes, causing her to grunt. Shigo would fall back and hold her eyes as they gouged them out, leaving her completely blinded. “Gah! Alright!” As she said what she said, she would dismiss everything and the sand would return to her gourd, leaving her looking around, eyeless and bloody.

Tadara would continue attempting to move away. The sand kicking up between them and around them would have his eyes stinging a little but his free hand would move to cover his lower face so he wasn't breathing in the sand. His ANBU mask he was yet to be issued would have been useful here. Though he would need to add lenses to it. However the sand was outlining him he noticed. If she were truly after him she would be able to target him despite his invisibility. A pity that she had countered him so quickly. Still his eyes began to play tricks on him as he tried to track her with some difficulty. Either way he would drop his invisibility and keep moving. Attempting to keep some distance between them. If she charged him straight on he would have difficulties keeping up. However by keeping some distance he had a chance to do something. His Genjutsu just needed a few more seconds to kick in and she didn't appear to have noticed it yet. So she didn't have a sensory ability? Of course not...if she did than she likely wouldn't have needed to throw sand around to find him.

Since he was visible now he would attempt to breath through pursed lips. If he had known he would be dealing with sand today he would have brought a mask of some sort. His glasses were doing very little to keep the sand out of his eyes. Still he remained focused as his free hand kept throwing out different signs. Keeping her on her toes for more jutsu while not actually casting anything. Preparing for an onslaught to endure while his genjutsu took effect. The clones suddenly appearing certainly would make taking advantage of the opening more problematic. If the clones didn't share the infection of his chakra...would they be immune to one that was placed on the host before the split? Theoretically they took from the same chakra pool so the hypothesis was they would. He would need to run an experiment on that. Two variables in the same situation was perfect for it. However he didn't need to keep on the defensive it would seem. His bees found their mark and assaulted her brutally as he had intended. The sound of her in pain and calling the match was all he needed. However the clones would be dismissed too.

Unfortunate that he couldn't test his hypothesis but he had been trained to target critical points. The eyes being highly valuable in a fight. Still all the sand would be sucked back into her gourd and he would see just fine again. Dropping the hold on his coat and brushing himself off as he walked towards her. No real concern for his would be patient. Calmly making the signs for Ox → Tiger. Once he stood in front of her he would speak in a calm monotone voice. "Remain still. You can still speak but do not move beyond that. I will return your sense of sight to you shortly." With that his hand would shift to attempt to cover her eyes. A green glow emerging from his hand as she would feel almost immediate relief. However his hand did not leave her eyes as he regenerated them fully over time. Speaking as he did.

"Ideally in a live combat situation I have found that removing the opponents ability to remain effective in the field generates more leeway for my mission. That said I would prefer if you kept how this went between us and the Tsuchikage. In my profession my known capabilities should remain limited. That said theoretically you should be able to raise a defense against light precision attacks. I would suggest beginning with that next time."

Description: The Mystical Palm Technique is a Medical Ninjutsu which allows the user to speed up the body's natural healing process by sending chakra from their hands into a wound or afflicted body part. This allows the user to heal a patient without the need for medical equipment or surgery, making it very useful on the battlefield. It can be used to treat both external and internal injuries.

In most cases it will take three posts to fully heal a single fatal wound. This number can be alleviated by having more Ijutsu users using this technique present, each Ijutsu user taking a post off.

Weaknesses: When healing a wound the effects take place immediately, slowing bleeding and producing new cells. Failure to complete the full healing process will have the wound open up again. The amount of time how this happens is dependent on how long you treated the wound (Healing for two posts and leaving will take two posts for the wound to open again.)

With Rotwang dropped off at the hospital, Irena returned back to the training grounds with an unimpressed look on her face as she saw the sight before her. Preforming a few hand signs, she'd idly produce her own mystic palm technique and walk over to assist Tadara in restoring the Kazehana's eyes before speaking.

"Truly impressive, I am barely gone and you manage to pull this sort of thing in training." She'd shake her head in annoyance. "Still, better your normal eyes rather then any dojutsu. Anyways I have some news for the both of you. Shigo, with Masaru Tatsudashi having retired, you are Jounin Commander and have also been given permission to have first pick at the recent Fang acquisition once you have sufficiently recovered. Chunin Tadara, while to my knowledge you have yet to complete the written exam, you have met the combat requirements to become a Tokubetsu Jounin; though Shigo as Jounin Commander may wave the written requirement if they feel like you have earned it. Congratulations to the both of you."

Shigo would sit there, her head turning to the voice that would then be accompanied by a warm feeling of chakra on her eyes. She would remain still and hear Tadara out. “I see. This is safe with me.” Though once she would say that, she would hear Irene’s voice, making her want to move her head yet she didn’t as she followed Tadara’s instructions. Don’t move. Her vision would soon come back, shortly after, even taking a few blinks to regain her sight. Her eyes would flutter and she’d look down to her hands. “Very well.” With her eyesight restored, she’d place a hand on her knee and stand up, looking to Tadara and bowing properly. “As the newly appointed Jounin Commander, I hereby excuse you of the written test and promote you to Tokubetsu Jounin. You fight well and your bees are scary indeed.” Her voice would remain calm but a slight hint of proudness would shine through just a bit. Shigo turned to Irene and bowed to her as well. “Thank you. Please, have Lady Diana call me when she is ready to discuss the Fangs Situation.” Her eyes would get accustomed shortly after and she would prompt a wave. “Now that my eyesights back, I shall return to my quarters. There are some things I’d like to discuss with you Irene if possible. Do you know of a boy named Fro Tetsudashi?”

Tadara would maintain regardless of the movements of his patient. Keeping up with each shift easily enough to keep his medical technique in play. Even when the kages puppet would return and make her announcement he would take pause. With her assisting him with the same technique it was creating an alarming regeneration rate. One he may be able to replicate if he were to focus more of the same chakra into a similar technique. Perhaps creating healing drones so he could do this on the move. A series of possibilities would shift through his mind as he would finish up the last of the healing touches. Speaking very little in return to the statements. He had satisfied them both with requirements for another rank. Another secret he had earned from them. Another way to increase his own potential. Still by the time his medical technique finished its work on her she mentioned needing a word with the puppet and he seemed rather excused from the conversation. No need for formalities or questions. He would simply nod and turn to leave. Assuming nothing stopped him he would simply go order a healthy balanced lunch and continue his day. The only thing lost was a corner of his coat.

Her own work done now that that the eyes were repaired, she'd remove her hands from the now Jounin Commander. She would look at Tadara for a second before he left, but turned back to Shigo soon after as she stood up.

"Of course. I will have Titania send a message."

Giving a small bow back, she would watch as Shigo got used to her eyes, processing the statements & inquiry. "I recall seeing the Tetsudashi when you were all assigned to a team, yes. What is it you wish to discuss regarding him?" If they started to move, Irena would lag behind by about 1.5 steps from Shigo provided they traveled at the same pace.

I’ve put an interest on him and so I would like to take him under my wing. I would like to help him and his family with something that may be of importance to both Iwagakure and the Tetsudashi Family. I would like permission to release him once he’s woken up.

Shigo would walk with Irena, explaining her course of action and hoping she would comply. She would also ask about Diana and if any contact has been made with her all while keeping a larger distance between her and Irena.
