[Plot Topic guys! Double exp for each post!
This topic is introductory to the plot.
    Topic Rules:

    • No character's life shall be endangered on this topic. Take the opportunity to try to unveil what you can while your character is not at risk. Better information => Better choices =>Better rewards later on.
    • Fighting is allowed if that is how the story progresses. Check point above tho.

More rules may be added later on. I feel like I am forgetting something...no silly rules will be added.
    ]

"Yes, this should certainly be more than enough." the thought crossed his mind. Calculations were important at a time like this, and a mistake at this point could prove to be fatal for the entire operation. The environment around him had been carefully studied and he was confident there was no one else around. Not at this point, at least. From the top of the hill where he was standing, he could not see the walls of Kirigakure no Sato. The fog hadn't been kind enough to permit such a rare sight on this day. In fact, Kirigakure no Sato's Mist rarely ever was benevolent. But today that mattered little. The small man standing on top of the hill wasn't foolish enough to count on the Hidden Mist's mist's absence. If anything, the mist was part of the entire plan and operation. But there was something else the shinobi was counting on as well...something less certain, an event he would certainly appreciate but also one he couldn't be entirely sure was achievable. Alas, if it didn't happen the Hidden Mist's suffering would increase significantly. But he was confident they were up to the task. After all, it wasn't at random that he had picked this particular village to perform his new toy's test run. The man touched the sphere hanging by a metal belt on the left side of his waist, beneath the black cloak which covered his body. He could feel the immense chakra emanating from his prototype, it truly was enormous. The massive energy was almost palpable beneath the black cloak.
    Spoiler:

He looked up at the sky, hoping. The night was cold and quiet. Somewhere above the many clouds that covered the sky, the moon was certainly shining brightly. But the common mortals below the clouds could not see that, and so the night was not only quiet but dark as well. Could he wait much longer? Probably not. Luckily, the first one dropped almost immediately after he considering initiating the operation.

It fell on his cheek, wet and brisk. "Ah...good." Following the first one, many other drops of water started raining down on the hill and fields around it. It went down lightly at first, but soon the rain was pouring down harshly. Certainly Kirigakure no Sato would be enjoying the bliss of rain at the moment as well. He pulled his cloak's hood up, which made him look like a small, fragile child. "It is time." The small cloaked man made no movement, no signal. And yet...Two similarly hooded figures would make them presence noted in a rather flashy manner. One of them was taller and slender. The other one also had a human-like figure, but it was smaller and more elegant. Both of them wore hoods, and bandages covering their faces. They looked like the creepiest couple.

    *BOOOOOOOOM*

It happened 4 Km from the outer walls of Kirigakure no Sato. The explosion had been prepared in such a manner that most of the explosive force and fire was shot upwards to the sky, briefly illuminating the clouds and skies for a 5 Km radius. Like thunder, the light would reach the Hidden Mist village before sound, so there was a small window of hope during which Kirigakure no Sato's residents could believe it truly was thunder....but only until the fierce roar of the explosion reached the walls.

From the top of the hill, the small man watched. "Hopefully the rain will control the fire before it gets out of hand..." he muttered to himself. Right next to the fire column that still regularly rose from the center of the explosion, a good 50 meters away from it, the other two figures stood still. "The dice were cast... now the waiting game begins...are you feeling anxious?" he patted the sphere once again.
    "..."
"Well, I most definitely am. Your presence certainly is... intimidating."
    "Your methods displease me."
"Aye, I know. But I must ask you to bear with me for a little while longer. We'll be ready soon, dear Matatabi."
From within the sphere, a terrifying howl echoed through the night.

Act I - The Eruption Night Empty Re: Act I - The Eruption Night

Post by Hana Kaguya Sun Jun 17, 2018 5:11 am

Late night just outside of the Kaguya District near the market sat Tsubaki, the young princess and current head of the Kaguya clan. She wears a pair of deep blue sandals popular among many Shinobi which is coupled with a lavender haori kimono. The kimono is secured with a blue sash secured around her waist. Beneath the kimono Tsubaki wears a light mesh shirt to provide additional coverage. Tsubaki herself is of short height among her clan, standing only 5'6 and weight 140 lbs. Just like her kin she shares a very pale, soft skin. This is coupled with sapphire eyes and pearly white hair which extends all the way down to her lower back. Although having a somewhat fit figure her endowed chest and lower body balances her out.

A set of pale, silk legs dangled from the top of an unnamed establishment. The girl's plump bottom perched on the edge as a large clay pot of wildflower honey rested on her thighs. A single honey dipper sat in the opened pot, the back end of the spoon gripped between her hand. The princess fed herself load after load of the liquid gold as she would suck the dipper clean, dip it back in the pot, and repeat. She would indulge in her own personal treat as most of the residents in the village were asleep. Of course from her location she would notice a large disturbance in the still night. First a blast of light, the Genin turning her head in the general direction of the light the moment it occurred. She would witness the beacon of fiery light just upon one of the hills that surrounded the mist village. Tsubaki knew she wasn't far. Such a distance could be cleared within a minute given her best efforts.

Amidst her thought a rancorous magnitude would follow. Tsubaki was more willing to help now after recent efforts contributed by the village to give the Kaguya their own district. She would feel guilty if she did not lift a finger to at least investigate the cause. The Genin would consider her situation and regrettably set the half-empty pot of honey aside leaving the honey dipper sticking out the pot. Swinging her legs out the edge she got up with pep before her presence vanished in a blur throughout the night. She would have exited the village gates and make her way up the hill through the vegetation that jungle was naturally abundant in. Thankfully the mist was forgivable just this night.

As she dashed up the hill she began to slow her pace. She was unaware who caused the source, if anyone in particular. The only notable giveaway was the beacon of fire that remained after the initial explosion. It stood out like a sore thumb in the night. It allowed Tsubaki to easily find the epicenter. As she neared the light, a close yet far one-hundred meters she would slow down and begin making herself smaller by crouching. Creeping up towards the light she eventually lowered in a prone and stopped at sixty meters. She was far enough to not be influenced by the light as she nested herself among the foliage on the ground. She had advantage in these circumstances as the three standing by the column of fire were adjusted to the light. Seeing into the dark would prove to be a bit more difficult than normal. Whatever advantage she could grab, she would take it. The princess would try her best to eavesdrop of a conversation, if any. She maintained motionless to maximize her perceptive hearing.

    Act I - The Eruption Night Rsz_1j10

Toonami sat in her abandoned and dilapidated home on a rustic couch. Sat was a generous description. More like "sprawled out". The Twin scratched her head and sat up at the sound of a rumbling explosion in the distance. She was completely topless and her shorts were unzipped revealing a bizarre path of neon blue pubic hair. Toon shook her head and looked out her window to a spiraling tower of fire piercing the heavens.

    "What in the actual fuck?"

Toonami was not super patriotic but she knew that she had duties as a Jounin. The woman zipped her shorts, threw on her purple and black tank top, and grabbed her skateboard. She rode all the way to the site of the action at her top speed, acrobatically skating and zipping through the streets and out of the village until she had arrived at the scene of the action. The woman slammed on the edge of Kitty and gripped the board before handing it off to a random NPC she trusted before leaving the outskirts of Kiri and walking directly up to the stranger, his companions, and his obnoxiously loud tornado of fire. Toonami was quite tall for a woman standing at well over 6 feet, her neon blue twin braids trailed in the breeze and her magenta eyes were wide with chaos and lust for battle. Much of her alabaster skin was exposed to the world with her intimates covered by a thin pieces of purple and black fabric: a tank top, short shorts, and leggings. Toonami was decked out in a gold chain which hung from her neck while her clothes were lined with small capsules that look more or less what we would consider to be bullets. Toonami licked her lips, grabbed her crotch, and jerked her hips forward in a lewd and disrespectful manner evoking the typical "Suck it!" taunt common amongst children.

"I don't know who you fags are or what you think you're doing with your dildo of fire but you're trespassing in my fucking country. Get ta steppin or get ya mothafuckin wig split!"

Unfortunately, the less civilized of the Dead Flesh Pulse Twins had arrived for this plot.

Act I - The Eruption Night Empty Re: Act I - The Eruption Night

Post by Shin Kazehana Tue Jun 19, 2018 11:05 am

For a few minutes, Shin had done nothing more than watch the column of fire dance to the slight breeze of of the night. Little by little, it was running out of fuel to burn, and the great flash of light it once produced was becoming thinner and thinner. Soon it would be reduced to nothing and the darkness of night would overcome the light, taking over the hill.
"How much longer will they make me wait..." Shin wondered.
"You'll wait as long as necessary." If Shin's body had been in its normal state, he would have gotten a shiver down his spine. He had been used to the beast's silence for so long he forgot his thoughts and state of mind were being intercepted by the Sphere. Truly the machine was a wonderful tool with a marvellous design, one of Shin's best works. But he still hadn't gotten used to share his mind with that of the beast. Not that he was complaining, Shin knew there was no other way to achieve their goal and he himself had agreed to this method.
"You know what I meant. This is a delicate operation an-Oh!" A chakra signature entered the range of his sensory abilities. "There's one."

Shin directed his gaze towards the place where he felt the chakra moving, but looking through the dark of night was getting harder and harder. If not for his abilities, he wasn't entirely sure he would have noticed the body moving. Or perhaps he would've, considering the girl's hair was long and white, reflecting much of light that hit it. "Seventy...no, sixty meters. The chakra signature isn't particularly strong, but it's a clever one."
"It's not enough. Wait." Shin remained in control of the situation. Sooner or later he would take action, but for now he avoided making any contact with the ninjas.

Then, as if guessing the beast's intentions, another guest arrived at the site of explosion coming from roughly the same direction as the first one. This woman, Shin could sense, had a far stronger chakra signature, possibly a few times larger than the first one. "There's a bigger fish." He thought, just before the woman shouted at him while making indecent gestures. "Big doesn't imply clever, it seems." This woman had gone through no effort of hiding or at least moving quietly. Shin pulled his hood down and looked at the woman from his elevated position at the top of the hill.
    Spoiler:
It didn't take him too long to reach a conclusion...the woman looked like an adult, and experienced. Very few stupid ninjas lived to reach their adult age. "Confident it is, then." He was glad. The test run would be meaningless if it didn't face considerable power, and the fact that this woman was acting like this and threatening the trio clearly demonstrated she was confident in her abilities.
    "Will you make a two-on-two?"
Shin pondered for a moment. It was an interesting question, but with an obvious answer. "You know it's never really a two-on-two, right?."

The taller figure would make its move. It was a simple move, one of the most basic skills taught at the academy- the throwing of shuriken. But the throw here was elevated to the peak of its potential, aimed by a true master and thrown by a ridiculously strong and quick beast. Only two shuriken were thrown, roughly in the same direction but with different targets, yet the tall figured moved so fast that it was unlikely that either of his opponents would have seen it. One weapon was aimed at the ground next to the white haired girl's left foot, while the other one was aimed at the insolent one who insisted on childishly provoking the trio. Moving at  200 m/s, the first shuriken would cover the sixty meters separating it from its target in a very short amount of time, impacting the ground at 100m/s, turning the weapon into a useless piece of deformed metal and creating a rather large crater, raising a considerable cloud of dust.

The second thrown weapon was not aimed at the ground but rather at Toonami's left leg. Should the weapon follow the intended trajectory, it would superficially but mercilessly make a cut on the woman's thigh and then follow its path beyond her. This meant, if the attack was successful, that she wouldn't be out of combat or impaired, it would just hurt like hell and bleed a little. Very much like a larger paper cut. Toonami wasn't right next to Tsubaki or anything like that, but the distance separating Shin from both of them was roughly the same so he calculated both throws wouldn't differ from each other.

    "He missed."
    "He never misses."

Beneath Shin, the earth had been changing, its particles made thinner to create sand.

Act I - The Eruption Night Empty Re: Act I - The Eruption Night

Post by Stray Dog Wed Jun 20, 2018 6:29 am

Cat-like, light movements on Akira's behalf as she treads through the night along the rooftops of Kirigakure's less important buildings are disrupted by the massive upsurge of light outside of the village. Had it been much smaller, it would probably go unnoticed, but the roar following it didn't, nor did the resonance of a noise similar to thunder that preceded that animalistic noise.

None the less, she saves herself from nearly falling off of the edge of a random civilian's house, flailing her arms into an upright position until she's established her balance again. Needless to say, as much as she doesn't want to, Akira seeks to check out what the source of the noise was. So she hops off of the rooftop, starting to dart along the night streets, barely wearing what could be preferred in a situation such as this. Aside from her usual red eyeliner, she's wearing a white blouse beneath a black wool jacket with sleeves slightly baggy on her, with a small collar to it and six buttons lining the left side, leaving it unbuttoned.

Black, nearly opaque tights line her legs, accentuated by matching open-toed sandals typically worn by your usual shinobi. Her usual white hairband with red horns has been exchanged for one that's black, though it retains the same horn color. It also has Kirigakure's symbol etched into it in white. Completing the outfit is her hip pouch, tucked beneath the length of her jacket, and a holster lining her left thigh; both storage items holding the ninja tools she usually carries about.

After around thirty seconds of a full sprint (a little longer than that), she reaches the location that Toonami and Tsubaki are located, or at least just a couple meters away. She keeps her distance especially because of the people in question--one of them being the person that decided to meddle in Akira's own plans, and the other being a Kaguya. All in all, she considered both of them fitlh. But that didn't mean she couldn't hide that opinion and treat them as comrades under the guise of someone else. That's why she changed up her look and her lineage in the first place. She planned on staying unassociated with them and the clan itself.

After all, there's a more pressing matter at the moment. Now that she's up close, Akira finds herself much more shocked by the situation than she was in the walls of the village. She stays still for now, letting them deal with it, while she positions herself further away by about five meters, keeping a distance of eight from them.

    'The hell?"

Act I - The Eruption Night Empty Re: Act I - The Eruption Night

Post by Hana Kaguya Thu Jun 21, 2018 4:53 am

    "D'oh."

She muttered to herself within the shadows. Her efforts were to observe and report the strange phenomenon and the plans of the perpetrators of the flame beacon. Unfortunately they were content with musing in silence as not even a word followed their entire presence. Tsubaki was a bit frustrated as nervous chills slowly began to overtake her as her adrenaline started to wear off. The rush of witnessing the fire blast and chasing it got her this far, but basking in the darkness of the jungle eavesdropping on the strangers responsible was far less invigorating and more eerie. Of course the silence would break due to the presence of a new face. One Tsubaki wished she could unsee. She was foul in appearance and attitude as she spoke her line. She even found herself unfamiliar with her string of vocabulary assuming it was some form of urban slang. Regardless, Tsubaki wanted little to do with her.

To her surprise the men in cloaks gave no response, expect for one. One of the men revealed himself. It was less of a man, but a young boy. He bore short white hair which she personally found appealing. That aside he was fairly young. Too young to be associated with such an obscure act. From her observation the tall cloaked man made his move. A flicker of movement, one Tsubaki initially did not believe was real or just her imagination, sent the shuriken in her direction. From her prone position the black metal star would wiz past her eye sight as she flinched, though body not having any effort to react. The shuriken would plant itself in the topsoil just next to her foot, the upturning of dirt peppering her leg and foot as she glanced down temporarily before returning her glare back at the crowd. That was fast...but I have been spotted...I should get on my feet so I can move easier. She processed as she pushed herself up using her hands to stand on her feet.

This would urge the appearance of another female. She was a sightly woman, certainly a breath of fresh air after seeing Toonami. She had alluring blue eyes, pale skin, and light pink hair. She was cute and a trustworthy ally to have on her side. Tsubaki was unarmed as it stood. Her only tool in her arsenal was her trained body. This made the situation almost a puzzle. At the very least she gathered some information. "Be careful. They can throw shuriken really fast." She said sharing her knowledge with the newcomer. She waited for any movement that would be classified as aggression. As far as she knew the jungle provided decent protection and obstacles giving her more reaction time.

Act I - The Eruption Night Empty Re: Act I - The Eruption Night

Post by Kim Chang-Min Tue Jun 26, 2018 8:30 pm

Toonami wasn't surprised that the weirdo and his companions did not respond to her gestures. They were probably too afraid to speak. When one of them made a move that looked a lot like throwing a shuriken, Toonami opened her mouth to warn them but before she could she was nearly knocked off of her feet by the shuriken that had cut past her. The attack left open a cut that stung quite a bit but luckily she managed to hold her ground due to her amazing endurance. Toonami let out a gasp and then strafed to the side 5 meters and crouched down. Was that a fucking shuriken?! Toonami quickly realized the nature of the situation. This person was truly a dangerous threat if he could throw projectiles at such an awe-inspiring speed. Toonami weaved handseals and commanded the precious Uirusu cells inside her body. The woman was so intent and focused on her target that she hadn't even cared to acknowledge her comrades who had just arrived. Instead she put all of her focus and energy into defeating this enemy before he got a chance to strike again. The Twin made a mad dash towards the figure upon the hill. As she drew near, her cells would exit her pores and accumulate in the airspace around her body. The process was rapid, nary a few seconds or less ensuring its completion by the time she reached her opponent. The conglomerate of hostile and invasive cells had formed what appeared to be translucent and gelatinous needles. They were 25 in total each hovering near her. These were the Reverse Transcriptae Antigen Virons or simply RTA Virons, and once Toonami had entered a 10 meter range she sent them flying towards the enemy with frightful speed. Twelve of the projectiles would be aimed at the aggressor's head and stomach. The remainder would stay close to her person as she charged. Toonami charged chakra into her right and left fist and prepared to whale on the invaders for thinking they had the right to attack her village.

"You fucked up! That was your last chance to leave with your head still attached to your neck!"

The young woman would scream as she sent the remaining needles into the head of the smaller hooded figure.

Act I - The Eruption Night Empty Re: Act I - The Eruption Night

Post by Shin Kazehana Fri Jun 29, 2018 3:21 pm

"Ah, another one joins the fray..." the white haired boy muttered, as yet another female ninja joined the battlefield positioning herself rather close to Tsubaki. But was it really a battlefield? They all seemed so hesitant to make a move, and this disappointed Shin a bit especially because he didn't have a whole lot of time to achieve the objective of his mission in the Land of Water. No, he needed to hurry things up and that required a bit of....art? Yes, perhaps it was. After all manipulating humans was considered an art in the world of shinobi as much as manipulating puppets. But could he manipulate them as well as he did puppets? Perhaps.

Shin's glance turned towards the blue haired woman, as she yelled out words at him. Finally someone with guts! Although Shin really couldn't blame the other two, the shuriken throw was a clear sign of their difference in power and Shin would probably have had a very similar reaction should they have their places switched on this battlefield.

Regardless, the blue haired woman's attitude was far different. She sprinted at the taller hooded figure, and Shin watched carefully as she ran. Before reaching the ten meters radius around the tall figure, her opponent didn't make a move. And Shin simply watched with curiosity as the events unfolded. The lady made a few hand-seals and... "Is that... snot? Ew." the boy was genuinely surprised. But he had been through far too many battles to let surprise alone be the deciding factor of his defeat. Even "snot", or whatever that was, could prove to be dangerous. Kirigakure ninjas were definitely a bit too cautious, but Shin couldn't help wonder if they weren't getting a little too creative with their ninjutsu.

Alas, the woman made a straight dash towards her aggressor, but her speed was nowhere near the level of his. As soon as she was within the 10 meters range and her focus was on attacking her aggressor, Shin raised his right hand with blinding speed. Quickly, from the ground, sand rose- it would probably catch the woman whose trajectory had been rather predictable and who had been focused on the wrong opponent. An attack from the ground, in the dark of night, likely unexpected since her aggressor had made no moves and Shin's arm had moved much faster. The first ten needles that composed the attack managed to be sent off towards its target. The tall figured simply moved out of the way with its already well known speed, placing itself between Shin and his target. As for the other needles that were shot at Shin, he took advantage of his renowned coordination to move his head just enough to allow the needles to pass by safely. Because they were all focused on a single rather small target, this wasn't much of a hard task to accomplish.  Not that it mattered much at this point of Shin's life his head was no more than... a prop.

The sand would rise from the ground and catch the woman in the Sand Binding Coffin technique, surrounding her and her needles with sand and more sand until only her face could be seen. Shin needed her to still be able to speak.

"Now now miss, let the others play a bit too, will you?" Shin would smirk at her. He needed to provoke rage to get the others to attack. "I only see ladies and children here. Don't tell me all the men left for war and left you all here to fend for yourselves...How rude of them."

Shin glared at the other two, having trapped the first one. "Time to make a move or the pesky one here goes sploof." He wouldn't really make the woman go sploof at all. This wasn't the point of the mission. But they didn't know that.

    Sand-binding coffin, S-rank power.

S-rank speed for the tall figure.
    S-rank coordination for Shin.

Act I - The Eruption Night Empty Re: Act I - The Eruption Night

Post by Kyoji Sat Jun 30, 2018 12:34 am

Now was the time. Now was the time. Satomi had finally found an opening. The young Uchiha had only just arrived after seeing a plume of fire go up even from the village. The Leaf Ninja was actually there on behalf of the Leaf to extend their hand in alliance. They were currently in talks and he had only been out to sight see the giant village. That was quickly interrupted after he and a bunch of ninja went to examine what had happen. This was not his village but they weren't enemies either, but rather allies through tragedy. And hopefully in physical form soon.

But that was prompted Sato to investigate the disturbance. He arrived much later then the Kiri ninjas did but when he arrived he saw something that alarmed him. About Twenty meters from the action, he was hidden but was able to see that the Kiri ninja were being attacked! The village is under attack! Those two are either brave or stupid. It prove to be former soon enough.

Satomi could see that the Kiri ninja were being pressed to deathly proportions. This was the real deal. He had to wait for a moment he could attack. He had vantage point of being behind the fight and closely behind the smallest hooded figure. Sato closed his eyes for a second and then quickly opened them, revealing the famous Sharingan. The three tomoe Sharingan formed in his eyes, allowing him to view the battle from a better perspective.

There he could see Toonami, the other twin of the one he met at the gate. She was just as confident as Konami it seemed. She had been charging forward to attack a taller hood figure, the partner of the smaller one. However from the corner of Satomi's eyes he could see the small one (Shin) raise his hands up towards her. No! There was nothing anyone could have done for her. It seemed the sand was formed from the ground itself. Making being on the ground around Shin was dangerous.

Sato kept an eye on the small one waiting for chance to strike. His right hand was waiting for chance to send him packing. His chance came when the Toonami sand on the ground around rose up and trapped her. But she was still able to also send a strange attack at the mans head. Satomi's Sharingan was able to pick up his subtle movements before he made it. But it was still supernaturally fast. However this his time.

He held his right in hand in front of him getting a clear shot at the now occupied Shin. "Chidori Senbon!" A lightning cackle sounded, then it was followed by a glow coming from his hand. All of sudden a countless streams of countless lightning needles shot forward. There was so many shot if he tried to dodge Satomi was confident it would break his focus and free Toonami.

She registers the warning, and just flicks her gaze back onto the cloaked figure.

Akira opts to tuck her hands into the pockets of her jacket, seeming very insistent on doing what she had initially planned on: figuring out what the hell was going on. That didn't exactly mean she came here to deal with something that wasn't necessarily her problem though. The fact that there were only two people here and the safety of neither of them were regarded by her only enhanced that mindset. So as he goes ahead and possibly traps Toonami within the sand, and makes a threat shortly after, she responds accordingly.

    "... Eh?"

One of her brows quirk, and she scoffs, rolling her eyes. She's been prompted like Toonami--only she returns the shit that he just talked. Only difference was only one of them was all talk. Her. She emphasizes that with what she shouts next. "You think I came out here in the middle of the night to fight some guy talking behind the coverage of a cloak? Do I look like I'm a position of authority to you? Or is that hood messing with your vision? Screw off, extra."

She's inadvertently serving as a makeshift distraction while the Uchiha not too far off is flinging senbon of lightning chakra at him. Senbon that she doesn't even see coming, for that matter. Now it was a matter of gauging his reaction, and somewhat hoping that this wouldn't put her in the exact same predicament. In any case, it felt good to not be a Kaguya anymore. Forget about maintaining a proud image for a "proud" clan.

Act I - The Eruption Night Empty Re: Act I - The Eruption Night

Post by Hana Kaguya Sun Jul 08, 2018 8:26 am

The foul blue haired woman, and following her the chocolate man made their assault on the cultist as Tsubaki and the pink haired girl managed to stay back. It was for their own safety. After all, the pink haired woman confidently stated some truth. What was Tsubaki doing here, exactly? It was unlike her to pursue conflict unless she was paid for it, or it served a purpose to her clan. It was too late to back out now. If she simply went to bed like everyone else she would not be in this situation. So much regret all due to her curiosity. But it was in that moment that her body began to change. Her nervousness ceased as a tingling wave throughout the girl's insides began to felt...warm. She was warm down to the bone as her body began to feel invulnerable. It was a high like no other, one that sprung itself out of nowhere. It was like she didn't feel she was in immediate danger. This "power trip" would oddly linger as the battle unfolded before her. She had a desire to kill. A desire to stab the hooded man repeatedly.

In those thoughts a small crack was heard, warm liquid dripping on her toes. Tsubaki turned her head down to see blood trickle on her feet. Growing from her palm was an ivory double-edged blade as it continued to grow in length. Tsubaki was quite familiar with what was happening. Perfect timing! She thought to herself as her bloodline began to awaken. Her bones were stronger than steel, and she could free-form manipulate them out of her body. She would produce a hiltless short sword from her palm. The princess would grab the flat end of the blade as she pulled the completed sword from her body fixing it in her grasp in her right. A simple smirk on self-satisfaction and pride grew across her face.

The chocolate man's assault would be coupled by the speeding pursuit of the princess. Her goal was to flak Shin at astonishing speeds, her blade held at her hip. Coming within striking range she would lunge the blade through his spine and out his abdomen on the other side. It would be an incapacitating blow for most, destroying the nerve center of the body, as well as leaving a fairly large puncture wound to bleed from. Of course she would maintain prime focus on the target while doing so. Her training with the Mizukage taught her well to keep herself well-defended during these types of confrontations. A well-seasoned Shinobi will strike a gap when they see one. If they are stronger they will do it with enough finesse where you would be unable to react. Staying focus and stable was her top priority. Although she would be limited to basic attacks, they were something and better than getting crushed or thrown.

Alkaid raced towards the source of the large explosion going as fast as she could well still maintaining at least a semblance of stealth by using her special ability silent infiltrator.  After all what good was she going to be if she was spotted coming from a mile away?

Then again she couldn’t help but ask herself what good she was going to be against whatever had made such a blast that it could be seen and felt from kilometers away.   She herself had been in the training grounds working on her swordsmanship when she’d been startled by a brilliant flash of light.   Not even bothering to sheath her katana and wakizashi set made from her bone she had taken off looking to investigate the source of the disturbance.

After her beloved cousin had criticized her for her risque choice of clothing she had switched to something much more modest and for once she actually looked like a proper ninja, something that as a spy she generally had tried to avoid in the past.

The answer she had come up with to avoid being too conspicuous when gathering information was simple. Make her combat outfit flashy so that she’d stand out less when in civilian mode and include a face mask to help further conceal her identity.

The rest of her outfit was pretty straight forward as well. A golden ornamental hairpin at the back of her head and a red scarf around her neck where their only to make her stand out while the rest was fairly subdued.  A simple sleeveless kimono that ended in a low cut skirt, its color a shade of purple almost verging on blue. A gray obi severing as a belt with two hip pouches attached to it.

A matching pair of boots that ran up to her knees and black thigh high stockings underneath them.  Finally to top it off a was a pair of purple pink finger-less gloves that ran past her elbows.  For a member of the Kaguya clan she was showing deceptively little skin, but that was fine since she was keeping the fact she’d unlocked her bloodline abilities a secret.

As she arrived at the edge of the battlefield and took in the sights before her she could clearly see that she was far from the first to arrive.  Clenched her fist almost hard enough to draw blood she felt thoroughly annoyed at herself for being so late to the scene.

Letting off a sigh she supposed it couldn’t be helped really.  She was only a gennin after all and had been coming from further off them most. Besides wasn’t it the role of a star to appear just in the nick of time?  She’d just have to turn her frustration into fuel to power up her attacks.

The only question now was what to do and what move to make. It looked like her blue haired mentor of shorts Toonami had been caught by some kind of sand trap.  Alkaid’s first instinct was to rush over and try and free the Jounin but she hesitated.  She wasn’t sure she had the raw strength that would be required to slice through the binding, let alone the speed to not be caught herself before she got close enough to even try and cut it.

She flashed a grin as she caught sight of her cousin stepping forward into battle, all traces of indecisiveness vanishing as she made up her mind as she realized that she’d been over thinking it.  Tsubaki was her light in a world full of darkness. All she had to do was support her like always and things would work themselves out in the end.

Without any prompting she fell into step only a short meters behind Tsubaki using her cousins shadow as a means of concealing her presence as they approached the enemy together, their movements so synchronized one watching might be tempted to think they had planned this maneuver out ahead of time instead of on the fly.

It was a result of all the years they had spent together crystallizing and bearing fruit. Together the two of them where a formidable tag team.  The cloaked figure they where targeting might see Tsubaki coming but with any luck he wouldn’t noticed Alkaid until it was too late.

Shifting into the stance for the Dance of the blossom she waited until the last possible second.  Stepping out of Tsubaki’s shadow only as the older girl began to lash out with her sword Alkaid followed her up with a strike of her own.  With one hand on her Katana she thrust her sword out aiming to pierce Shin straight thought the heart.

She would have liked to capture and interrogate him if possible but right now she knew didn’t have any leeway and so attacked without mercy . Whomever this guy was he hadn’t come alone.  She had to finish him off as quickly as possible to free Toonami if they where going to have a chance of making it out alive.

Act I - The Eruption Night Empty Re: Act I - The Eruption Night

Post by TsukiTatsuda Tue Jul 10, 2018 7:13 pm

When Akeno, or rather a trio of Akeno as they are identical, arrived at the scene she noticed that her partner has already engaged the enemy. Seeing the streams of countless lightning senbon indicated that Satomi is a lightning user. A shame, Akeno thought for she half hoped he would be into fire elements. It would’ve worked perfectly for what Akeno had in mind. Still it wasn’t a waste for they would hit their mark on this small hooded figure and a tall dark skin man. Of course there is one person, or rather Akeno can see the face from the sand, that another young one is trying to get the captured. Most likely trying to freeing the face.

Assuming Konami is still with Akeno, the Konoha woman would turn her head to Konami before speaking. “You don’t mind if i… change it up around here? I am only bringing the volcanic rock to the surface, and normally they’re quite small. But i am afraid nothing i do with lava release is small.” The one who would be speaking is the original Akeno while two of her clones split off as they were gonna flank these two strange figures. Even if it meant climbing over the hill. One clone speaks to the small one as she walks up on the hill that overlooks the village. “I am curious on who would be foolhardy to attack a village filled with shinobi.” Then the second clone on their right side speaks up. “Not that it really matters if you survive from this onslaught or not. Just don’t take it personally.”

In unison both clones reached up to one of their scrolls on each clone and quickly activated the seal. Once the seal breaks, five shuriken from each clone appears in front of them before deftly slipping their fingers from one hand into the middle hole. Two shuriken, one from each, is thrown at the small figure in a curved fashion. In mid-flight the shuriken multiplies until there is a total of ten shuriken at the small figure. The catch is that Akeno had made the trajectory on each thrown projectile to ricochet from each other if they miss.

Which means if the small figure evades the pincer strike, then the shurikens with hit each other causing five to scatter downward while the other five would be scattering skyward. This of course will work in conjunction with Satomi’s chidori senbon as they would connect the shurikens and electrify them while sending the ten shurikens away. Granting a high chance of either being bombarded by the needle form of lightning chakra, struck by ten shuriken, and/or struck by both as the lightning senbon conducts the shurikens to produce an electrical discharge multiple times. Even when they threw the shurikens the clones will still circle around on the hill. Both watching the duo as each clone held four more shuriken. If anything Akeno is testing her targets through her clones, and the original Akeno is simply waiting. “I don’t know who that is trapped in the sand, but get her out while you can. I am going to engulf those two in fire and i rather not catch others in the blast.” Akeno speaks to Konami as if she was waiting on their friend to be rescued, which isn’t a lie, but in truth Akeno is just waiting for a good opportunity. Plus if even one decides that her clones are worth paying attention their backs will be turned to the others. However, if left ignored Akeno has a lovely surprise for those two.

Act I - The Eruption Night Empty Re: Act I - The Eruption Night

Post by Kim Chang-Min Fri Jul 13, 2018 10:11 pm

Toonami thought she was home free when mounds of sand rose to entrap her. The tall woman found herself enraptured by the Sand Coffin Technique and rapidly rising. The needles that had sailed past Shin due to his effortless dodge however did not go about their merry way. In a last desperate bid to catch him off guard the needles turned around and mere centimeters past his head and tried to insert themselves into the base of his skull. The Virons were controlled telepathically by Toonami and so it would be child's play to loop them around to hit the figure once more. Regardless of its success, Toonami would be trapped in the steadily rising mound of sand. The woman cursed and screeched unintelligible noises as the mysterious terrorist mocked them and challenged them to come forward.

He was not lacking in tackers apparently. The pair of troublemakers were rocked as a flow of attacks came from Kaguya and Konoha-Nin.

Konami had arrived alongside Akeno who asked for advice on what to do and how to proceed. The interim Mizukage was glad that the woman thought it prudent to ask her advice before moving ahead. Konami had been told that her sister had rushed ahead to confront the intruders and she was not the least bit surprised to see that her Twin had managed to get herself caught. Konami cursed under her breath and growled at Akeno.

"I'm going to save my Twin sister. Keep your attacks clear of us" she said simply. Not wanting to waste precious time. She had brought along a contingent of guards. Two out of the three total that had been assigned to the village gates. She waved them forward and took with a mad dash as the other shinobi launched their attacks towards the two enemies. Konami raced towards the mound containing her sister (avoiding any and all harm from ancillary attacks be they from opponent or ally) and shouted a series of orders. She had 6 shinobi use the Water Release: Rising Water Slicer at the mound and told them that if any had so much as grazed her sister's blue hair, they'd be decapitated and have their heads thrown into the sea. The shinobi had amazing coordination and thus aimed their attacks such that through successive blows they sheared off the sand. The result was to cut Toonami free allowing the kunoichi to drop to the ground right near the action. Those needles that had not been destroyed and captured by the sand would be aimed towards the man who had raised his hand. The Virons particularly aimed at his head.

Konami raced up next to her Twin sister and raised a hand preparing to give another signal. It was pre-arranged on the way there so as to cut down on unnecessary chatter.

The unruly woman gave her more mature duplicate a wry grin.

    "I had it under control"
    "I bet you did"

Every single member of the two groups of shinobi would form handsigns. If anything or anyone tried to harm the Twins, Konami would bring her arm down and a Water Dragon Bullet would spew from the mouths of each and every member of the Kirigakure guard units. All of them aimed towards the source of the attack. If the hooded figures had survived or otherwise managed to neutralize the attacks aimed at it then Konami would point to wherever the pair located to and fire the Water Dragon Bullets. The attacks would be aimed and calculated to strike directly at the hooded figures not interrupting or otherwise neutralizing the attacks of the Mizukage's allies.

Act I - The Eruption Night Empty Re: Act I - The Eruption Night

Post by Shin Kazehana Tue Jul 17, 2018 7:24 pm

    "Shin..."
"I know, I know..." The conflict has escalated rather quickly. Their attacks started to be coordinated and incredibly well pulled off. One of the present kunoichis attempted to distract Shin by answering his provocations but Shin had far too much battle experience to fall for that. "That's a clever one right there. Alright, time to step up the game." Shin thought, as he sensed the Chidori Senbon technique being released. So they were finally clearly engaging in battle then? Good. This was good news for both him and the tailed beast that accompanied the puppet master.

Having placed itself between Shin and the trapped kunoichi, the taller hooded figure was in a perfect position to defend him from her needles. But Shin knew this thing wasn't exactly a defender, it was an attacker. With ridiculous speed, it used its right hand to throw two shuriken at the needles going right past Shin's head, which would impact on the jutsu with enormous strength and effectively neutralizing it.
    "That was close."
"No shit." But Shin had much more to worry about. The coordinated shuriken + senbon attack from the two Konohagakure no Sato ninjas could also prove to be troublesome, not to mention the two chakra signatures approaching him at considerable speeds and the many other signatures approaching the battlefield.

Had the shuriken not been electrified through Chakra, perhaps Shin would have never seen them coming under the dark of night. But considering their destructive power had been enhanced by chakra, Shin could feel and see them as clearly as if they'd been fighting under daylight. There were so many attacks, that this next step would have to be coordinated...*perfectly*. But Shin was playing on his own terms, even though it might not have seemed like it.
"What are you doing you madman?!"
"Hold it....Hooold it...." There were so many attacks. Electrified shuriken, Chidori Senbon, Taijutsu Experts (probably) approaching. And adding to that, the several chakra signatures approaching the battlefield. Everything converging on him at the same time. Which was...just perfect.

Using its left hand, the tall figure threw ten shuriken in succession in order to intercept the electrified shuriken. It was certain that throwing the shuriken in succession instead of at the same time could cause a slight delay- But considering the hooded figure's speed was far superior to the speed of the thrown electro-shuriken and that its coordination was beyond belief, any disadvantage caused by this type of throw was surpassed by the thing's sheer ability to throw ninja tools. The shuriken thrown by the tall figure would masterfully intercept the enemy's shuriken and impact them at unimaginable strength and speeds, causing a metal on metal impact sound, slight sparks and ultimately rendering all twenty tools useless. But this still left him with a problem- The Chidori Senbon Technique. A deadly jutsu, when allied with a Dojutsu such as the sharingan. Shin didn't doubt that many of those pesky little needles were aimed at his vitals. Or at least meant to be. There would be no vitals to hit, Shin knew. He had abandoned such weaknesses years ago...but these ninjas didn't know that. And it wasn't a card he was willing to reveal so soon.

As you might recall, earlier it was mentioned that there were not two, but three hooded figures at the top of the hill. Two of them had already engaged in battle, but what was left of the third one? The smaller, seemingly more fragile figure that accompanied Shin in this assault? It was not left forgotten.  As he sensed the Konohagakure shinobi preparing a rather powerful jutsu, Shin had the smaller figure move closer. This, of course, meant that he was centralizing the targets for enemy attacks but Shin was willing to deal with that for now.

A rather large figure emerged from the sand. It wasn't human, and it did little else than emerge next to Shin and placing itself between him and the incoming senbon attack. But it was large, large enough to provide cover for small Shin.

    Act I - The Eruption Night 320?cb=20150125165420
The Ultimate Defense Technique, Shield of Shukaku. Yet to find a jutsu that could go through it. But Shin wasn't willing to risk it. He knew very well that Raiton techniques had an advantage over Doton...and he knew exactly what had an advantage over Raiton. So as the pesky lightning senbon began to emerge, the smaller hooded figure jumped over the shield and used Wind Release: Great Breakthrough on a downward angle. This technique didn't have the power to neutralize the jutsu, but it had enough power to weaken it and more than that, slightly shift the direction of the senbons. Because they were fighting on a hill and the senbons were going uphill, a slight shift in direction was all it took for most of the senbon to directed towards the elevated ground. If there were any senbon whose trajectory hadn't been altered enough to eliminated danger for Shin, the puppet master was confident the Shield of Sand would be enough to stop the weakened jutsu. The smaller hooded figure landed on top of the shield of sand and there it stood for now.
"I find that jutsu a little offensive considering you're in my company and not in that of Shukaku's."
    "Nah, it's clearly defensive."
    "Tsk."

Meanwhile, the other two chakra signatures were approaching. The taller hooded figure, having dealt with the shurikens, immediately moved to meet them so they wouldn't approach Shin too much. There was a considerable distance between the tall figure and it's two new enemies when both dashes started. Shin watched as the one with the blade in hand moved, rather fast. The other one seemed to have trouble keeping up since it couldn't match her companion's speed. This caused a delay between the two that Shin was certain to take advantage of.por[Note: Tsubaki is moving at B-rank speed while Alkaid's top speed is C-rank. Correct if I'm wrong and I'll edit Razz]

First of all, it allowed Shin to be aware of her presence. Since she clearly wasn't fast enough to be hiding in her friend's shadow. But more than that, the fact that Tsubaki had moved so fast meant she'd left her friend behind and would be the first to meet the tall figure- alone.

The tall figure moved even more quickly. Several times faster than the fastest Kaguya, in fact. As it did, a poof of smoke in its hand revealed a large scythe, which it would wield against the two kunoichis. Additionally, its robe lefts its body revealing its true figure...which had apparently been wearing a robe under a robe but whatever.
    Act I - The Eruption Night 25b5e46f90efca19b1a5fde769b4227e
    "Is that.."
"Aye, The Reaper, with no strings attached. Now up we go, I need your chakra."

There really were no strings attached to the man's puppet, for some reason . The Reaper moved at S-ranked speed towards its targets, but before they even clashed in physical taijutsu combat, it attacked. Opening its mouth, it revealed a large set of teeth. 130, to be precise. It opened and closed its mouth rather quickly, at the same speed at which it moved. By doing so, it shot three teeth towards Tsubaki, and another two towards her ally Alkaid. Because he was already moving towards the woman at S-rank speed, that speed added to the speed of the shot made the teeth move at S-rank + C-rank speed, surpassing even the speed of the earlier thrown shurikens. By the time the two of them clashed in physical combat, Tsubaki would have been forced to make a choice: Either somehow deflect the three (maybe even the five?) teeth that were moving so fast and allow an opening for the Reaper's scythe to hit her, or engage in direct fight with the Reaper and allow herself  and maybe her ally to be hit by these teeth, which were poisoned. The three aimed at Tsubaki were aimed at her lower lip, her chest and her right leg. The ones aimed at Alkaide were aimed at her left leg and chest.

Either way they would certainly engage in direct combat. The Reaper was faster, and stronger. But Tsubaki was made of stronger stuff- the legendary Kaguya bones. It would be an interesting fight and if nothing else a useful test for the Reaper model. Finally Shin would get some really useful information out of all of this for himself personally. The Reaper would start off with a wide attack from the non-lethal side of his scyther (the one without the blades). Aimed at the woman's right side it would hit her chest at it came up diagonally from left to right. It would then make use of its speed, strength and larger ranger to keep the woman at a distance, avoid her possible blows and non-lethally striking her whenever it got a chance- and it would certainly get many chances before Alkaid arrived, considering the difference in their physical power. Should Alkaid try to use Ninjutsu to aid her mate before she arrived, the puppet would position itself so that it would be incredibly hard to hit it and not hit Tsubaki.

But what had Shin been doing this whole time?
    "We're going up?"
"Certainly, place's getting too crow-Ah shit!" The Kirigakure Special forces had just arrived, it seemed! Could this be Kirigakure's full military might? It was a possibility. But more important than that, they were targeting..."The coffin?! Huh." Shin smirked. If they were skilled enough to destroy his coffin without harming the person in sight, they were certainly a force to be reckoned with. But he was not about to be led by their plans. As they made their seals and began releasing their water blades, Shin made a flick with his right hand, and the coffin reacted.

He didn't kill the woman. Instead, he made it so that part of the coffin would implode, expelling the woman towards the incoming blades and eventually her sister. Because of the sudden change in the target, the woman was bound to get hit by some of these blades. Plus the pressure from being expelled like that would hurt enough. She wouldn't die or be physically impaired, but once again it would not be a breeze in terms of pain.  Other than that, everything went accordingly.

Meanwhile, Shin's left hand was on the sphere as it began to glow. An earthquake occurred. A small one first, but it would gradually escalate as Shin rose upwards in a sand platform. One would think this could be a prime time to attack the small man...but one would probably be wrong, as these Shinobi would soon find themselves surrounded by a sea of enemies. As Shin's platform moved up at considerable speeds Shin held the sphere in both hands. His eyes began glowing blue, and several fuuinjutsu were activated on his body making it glow in several different spots, each formula unique and with its own purpose. In the dark of night, Shin shinned like a beacon.

    "It's time."
    "Yes..."

The sphere began resonating, emitting chakra waves. Underneath the ground, strategically placed scrolls would react to the tailed beast's chakra, unsealing the hundreds upon hundreds of dangerous creations made by Shin Kazehana. Some wore Sunagakure no Sato headbands, other Iwagakure no Sato. A batch of them wore headbands from other villages, but most wore headbands from Konohagakure and Kirigakure no Sato. While most of the puppets were made out of wood and metal, some of them were made out of something else as well. They were human. Perhaps the older shinobi on the battlefield would recognize some of their fallen or MIA comrades there...Shin couldn't tell, although it was certainly a possibility. He'd planned, but not in that much detail.

As they rose from the ground at rather fast speeds, the puppets began swarming his opponents. By sheer numbers alone, they would go at each and every one of his opponents with blades, projectiles, taijutsu strikes, everything in the arsenal of a shinobi really. This would keep them pretty damn busy, at least for now. Although Shin had no doubt that most of these ninjas could probably outmatch one, two, maybe even five or ten of these puppets by themselves, he knew that the one thousand puppets all around the battlefield were a lot for them to handle. They weren't just coming from the hill either, they were present in a 1 Km radius all around them, so a good part of them were coming from behind his enemies as well.

Meanwhile, the smaller hooded figure stood next to Shin on his platform, its true form revealed.
    Act I - The Eruption Night 6d046b0322fce6e54883283af3709172
The Angel was one of Shin's most capable puppets. With its arm blades out, it was capable of producing several types of shield that would certainly be invaluable to protect the puppet master.

    "It works..."
"A-aye, but...it's taxing. Very taxing." Shin was growing tired quickly. Not running out of chakra, but keeping the sphere prototype running required a huge amount of concentration. The many Fuuinjutsu carved on his body served purposes such as facilitating the chakra circulation on his body, improving his concentration abilities several times or even allowing for better chakra absorption from the sphere. It wasn't chakra that he was lacking, the tailed beast provided more than enough of that. No, the problem was something else. His body was acting like a channel, from the sphere to the puppets. The chakra would leave the sphere, and be transferred to the puppets by Fuuinjutsu through his body. This forced his body to release and absorb insane amounts of chakra at the same time, to channel it all. The chakra he lost was quickly replenished but it was hard to keep up with the massive process.

"Is my power too much to handle, child?" The beast sounded confident, even proud of its own massive power.
"Ve-very much so. We need to improve chakra efficiency and..." Shin focused for a moment, controlling every single puppet in that battlefield was a tremendously huge task even for his fuuinjutsu improved brain. "A normal body would have exploded by now, and the individuals are....slower than expected. No biological cells can handle such amounts of chakra passing through them. But...let's see what we can do."
"How long do we have left?"
"Who can tell? Five minutes, five hours... It all depends on them, really. And on this weapon."

Shin held the Ressonator in his hands, as it kept emitting massive waves of chakra. Attacking him would likely be futile with his guarding Angle by his side, but his opponents would certainly have something to keep them busy.

Stats on Reaper and Angel puppets: S-rank Speed and Coordination.
Stats on other puppets: B-rank on everything (Except Stamina/Intelligence/Perception).

Note: Feel free to auto-hit and go wild on these things. If you want to take the opportunity to train/learn jutsus while fighting them it might be an interesting scenario. Just remember that there are many, many maaany of these things. Their appearances vary so if you want to describe kitten puppets go ahead, or dinossaur or whatever. Some of them are human puppets because I thought it could be interesting. The only restriction is that they're not harmless, and remember that there are no Chakra Strings connecting any of the puppets to the sphere.
I also apologize for the slight delay but it was a rather complicated post. Any clarifications you need feel free to ask me on discord. If you believe something is wrong with Shin's actions, contact me on Discord and we'll figure something out. This topic is meant to be interesting, not a conflict fest. Cheers~

Satomi was sure that the man would be impaled by a thousand needles made from the destructive lightning chakra. The Chidori Senbon was one of his deadlier attacks and not many found themselves able to block them. They were quick and almost impossible to see with the naked eye unless they were trained. However he was to be surprised more than once that day. There was a giant figure that erupted out of the ground made of Sand. Satomi hadn't noticed the bed of chakra forming below Shin with his Sharingan. But it hadn't mattered. Satomi had no idea what beast it emulated but it surprisingly shot a Wind jutsu out of his mouth and weakened but not stopped his attack.

It was a defensive Sand jutsu. A very clever one at that. This man was not to be trifled without the proper pressure. Then he sensed that Akeno and Toonami had arrived. He had went ahead of them to scout, and came upon this giant battle. They were eager to unleash their fury as the Kiri contingent was more than ready to attack. However they're attack was interrupted by the coffin being manipulated and shot the person towards they're attack.

Oh shit! He could not help her in time he was to far away to do much. However he would have bigger problems as Shin was just beginning. Sato had been a little bit distracted but when he returned his attention to Shin he was already summoning another technique. Soon the ground began to shake violently as a plume of sand made Shin rise into the air.

The ground seemed to come alive as puppets began to emerge from the ground. What madness is this? He asked himself before taking a step back in shock. All types of puppets came from the ground as if they were the dead. Some of the puppets even looked...human! Sato was sickened to see familiar faces among a few of the humans ones who had the Konoha Ninja band on them. This man had now struck a cord with him.

There seemed to be no end to sea of enemies that sprung from the ground. But Satomi was not perturbed. He would somehow have to survive this ordeal. He had plans. Sato formed a single in his hand and summoned a Shadow clone. The clone appeared a few feet away. They looked at each other and knew what to do. There was a large group of puppets who were starting to pinpoint enemies to attack.

A large group of them started making their way towards Satomi. And they were moving rather fast. Satomi quickly counted close to fifty of them. A problem. But not against Satomi's deadliest technique. The clone and Sato both made a few handsigns as they advanced up him from the hill. A powerful stream of lightning began to start streaming from Satomi's right hand and the clones left hand.

A chirping sound so piercing but smooth it shamed the static of the Chidori. The Raikiri began to connect its to the equally powerful Raikiri from the clone. A large link of lightning began to form and connect the two. Then all of a sudden they both broke out into a charge and ran straight at the group. They began to create some space between each other so that the link was at least 15 meters long.

This surprised the large group of puppets as they were caught off guard by the linear attack. Satomi roared a mighty battle cry before he and his clone began running the Raikiri blade through the puppets. No matter what they were made out of metal, steel, wood. It was cut in half by the Lightning Blade. The blade went unperturbed through the fifty puppets. He left massacre in his wake, but their was no damage to their numbers. Insanity. And even then Satomi and his clone did not stop, and continued on destroying more puppets with his blade running amok.

Akira merely squints, tensing her hands into fists at that point. She lowers her center of balance and starts to dart on forward, closing the distance between herself and the two Kaguyas nearby. There's no telling when he'd decide to drag them into the crossfire, and as much as she didn't like the clan as a whole, she was territorial.

They were hers to beat. This asshole would have to wait.

"Why are you even here?" She murmurs, half of that statement to herself and the other half directed to the stranger, even if he can't even hear her. As soon as the Reaper starts to seemingly blink in and out of visibility as it made its way towards the aforementioned pair, Akira's advance turns into a full on sprint. She forms half of the Tiger handseal and jump-starts the chakra in her system, enhancing her own locomotion.

In one fell swoop, the pink-haired female blitzes forward with the aid of the Body Flicker technique. She lines herself up accordingly, with her shoulder intended to be the first part of the entirety of her body to hit it. Naturally, it's most likely an action that comes after the Reaper's closed the distance between itself and the two Kaguyas, so the secret third right there intends to throw it off or at least give it more than just two kunoichi to handle.

'Can't have you stealing my prey!' She muses to herself, contemplating what she'd do in the scenario that it actually reacted. Probably just try to withstand whatever it threw at her? There weren't many options for her to go off of, especially because she isn't exactly the toughest in the world--at least when you don't consider resolve or anything of the sort. Regardless, this was just another thorn in her side, and most of all, an obstruction from her carnal goal.

In relativity, Tsubaki's sprint was immediately responded by one of the hooded figures. In just a second's timing she was met face-to-face with her foe, the young Kaguya astonished. To her it would seem like she misjudged her distance, but in reality the clone would blink its movements to be right before the princess. By sheer effort she dropped on her side just avoiding the projectiles that emitted from the Reaper's mouth. By doing so she was sliding on her hip like a Batter going for Home Base. In doing so she protruded her bone from her body developing a setting of narrow, pointed ivory spines protruding from her upper arm, forearm, shoulders, sides, and just about anywhere effective in defending herself.

Her slide would run between the legs of the Reaper as her evasion from the teeth followed through. Her spiky protection would happen in time to encase her as she did. If the Reaper attempted to step on the Kaguya he, or rather 'it', would be met with a nasty surprise. Due to the structured protrusions of the spikes they would also serve as a deterrent for physical attacks. Tsubaki would make a passing swipe at the Reaper's legs as she passed from underneath. The Kaguya princess would stand up from the opposite end and skip back five meters to clear space between the cloaked figure wielding the scythe.

Act I - The Eruption Night Empty Re: Act I - The Eruption Night

Post by Hibiki Thu Jul 26, 2018 7:28 pm

Sweet dripped from Alkaid’s forehead as she struggled to stay in Tsubaki’s shadow. With her slower foot speed It was taking everything she had to just to keep up.  Yet for all her effort to keep herself hidden it was in vain.   She simply wasn’t skilled enough to fool an enemy of Shin’s level with her silent infiltrator ability on it’s own.   As it was her attempt only seemed to draw his wrath down upon her party as his hooded friend made it’s move intercepting their attack run.

Alkaid almost gasped in shock as the hooded figured revealed itself by pulling off the robe concealing it’s figure with one hand while a scythe materializing into the other with a puff of smoke.  Whatever it was, it looked like a literal grim reaper and it’s presence on the field chilled her to the bone.   Not long ago the figure of death had come for her cousin Yui… was it here to claim her now as well?

The only reason her knees didn’t buckle at the sheer force of presence this figure was exuding was because she had faced a similar presence once before, one that was far more intimidating.  She had fought against the Mizukage once and gotten her ass handed to her.   She could only hope that she’d improved enough since then that she would be able to survive this new encounter.

Before she could even blink the figure was gone. The next thing she knew he was directly in front of Tsubaki bearing down on her.  It was too fast, she couldn’t even see it move.  Alkaid didn’t even have time to fully register this development as the Reaper attacked.

Her own momentum keep her going forward such that the tooth aimed at her leg barely missed by the slimmest of margins, tearing a gash thought her purple stockings as it went.  Their was nothing however she could do to intercept or dodge the second shot however which had been aimed at a larger target.

Alkaid’s vision swam from the force as she took a blow to the chest that brougt her to a dead stop. Where had that come from she wondered.  As her vision cleared she looked down to see a trail of blood soaking into her kimmono.

Tracing the blood to the source with her eyes she found a tiny rip in her shirt, smaller then even a single yen coin and under it she caught the faint glint of white bone and realized what had happened.   It was from a a small locket she wore over her heart, caved out of her own marrow.  It contained her most prized possession, a picture of her with her closest 3 family members Yui, Yanagai and Tsubaki.

She hadn’t seen what had struck her, but the fresh scuff mark on on the locket was enough to tell the tale.  The projectile must had hit it first and been deflected to the side just enough that she had avoided what otherwise might have been a fatal blow.  There was a trace of a dark liquid left on the locket as well, likely a form of poison of some kind, not that it mattered since such things where of little use against a Kaguya such as herself.

Clutching her Katana more tightly Alkaid gave off a savage grin.  That creature had taken it’s best shot at her and missed.   She was going to make sure it regretted that failure before sending it back to the dark abyss from whence it had crawled from.

Switching to the stance of the Red tiger style she dashed forward attacking in tandem with her two mates.   While Akira came from the side in an attempted body slam, and Tsubaki slid in from below to slice at his legs,  Alkaid was just a step behind them coming from the front as she unleashed a upwards swinging slash from her Katana at a speed beyond anything she had shown prior to this moment.

It was a move refereed to in the Red tiger school as a Slashing sky and it was aimed towards the arm carrying the reapers scythe in an attempt to disarm him in the most literal way possible.

Act I - The Eruption Night Empty Re: Act I - The Eruption Night

Post by TsukiTatsuda Mon Jul 30, 2018 7:53 pm

The repelled shuriken wasn’t really a surprise to Akeno even when they are clones. They merely observed as the clones continued to circle around the hill. Until clone 1 is positioned at Shin’s left flank while clone 2 is positioned at Shin’s right flank. Both were equally 25 meters away from Shin, and both were capable of closing that distance within half a second. From these two angles and from the original Akeno’s perspective they observed everything that occurs.

When the massive army of puppets crawls their way out of the earth. The clones noticed that the small figure seemed to be shaky, and though it was a bit blurry Akeno was able to keep up with the Reaper without it disappearing from her view. Still it was a speed that she could not equally match. Looking over her shoulder at the field of puppets that may even be humans. Some were recognized as part of Iwa, but Akeno didn’t hold any personal feelings to it. They were an obstacle, and it was an obstacle Akeno would happily burn to ash.

Clone 2 will throw two of her cloned shuriken at the Reaper as in mid-flight the shuriken releases the seal and eight more shuriken appears. So in total ten shuriken are thrown at the Reaper in a curved line. A line that will go around Tsubaki and hit the Reaper dead center. Then Clone 2 will throw the last two shuriken in unison with Clone 1 at the mass of puppet bodies. With Clone 1 throwing her 4 shuriken and then release the seal. So in total thirty shurikens are launched at the puppets’ vitals. Particularly around the neck at the spinal cords to damage the nerves, or whatever is substituted as nerves. Maybe not ‘kill’ or destroy these puppets, but damaging them enough to hardly move.

“I’ll cover your flanks.” The original Akeno spoke up to the Kiri nin that are near her as the Konoha kunoichi started to turn around. Facing the horde of puppets nearly as far as the naked eye can see. The two clones in unison form the Tiger to Ram seals. Once that Ram was formed, the ground around them briefly shudders as springing up from underneath the puppet army’s feet at 10 meters are 2 clusters of jagged rock that appears to be black and dull as the night. Emitting mild heat as steam rises up from the stones. The clusters are 3.5 meters radius each and are at least 10 meters apart from each other. Jagged rocks capable of cutting into the unwary feet of these puppets before Akeno’s two shadow clones disperse. Leaving only the clusters of rock behind that remained of their work.

As the memories of these clones seep into Akeno’s keen mind, the Phoenix formed a sole Horse seal as lots of chakra molds and builds up from her body. Akeno estimates how far the Kirigakure’s walls are, and was confident that this jutsu will not reach that far considering they’re at least a kilometer away. Puppets of various humans, beasts, and… a chicken. Why in the hell is there a chicken puppet in the midst of this Akeno will never know. Exhaling, from her lips spews a massive tsunami of fire that covers 250 meters wide and stretches up to a hundred meters high. This sea of flames washes over everything at a fast pace as the fiery chakra reduces everything to ash up to 500 meters outward from Akeno.

The sheer heat emitting from this technique can be felt as the night is lit up in a fiery glow. None of the Kiri forces were caught in this fire as Akeno had angled the widespread of this fire to where it wouldn’t harm them. Plus Akeno was the only one who stayed a short distance from the fight itself, but even so everyone nearby can feel the intense heat and some might even be blinded to the sudden change of brightness. The puppets that would’ve been behind the forces would be reduced to ash. Taking a good chunk of the puppets out, and though it used quite a bit of chakra Akeno didn’t really feel winded from the use.

Looking over her shoulder at the others, Akeno’s eyes in particular hold a golden glow to them that is like looking into pure liquid gold. “I can take care of these puppets. So you guys can focus on that small one with the puppets.” Akeno will move with grace to be placed behind the Kiri force. Her eyes shifting around to witness the puppets beginning to swarm on them. One puppet in particular rose up and tried to grab Akeno by the leg. However in combination of her speed and feeling the ground shift before the puppet emerged Akeno swiftly spun away from its grasp. As it emerged the puppet looked like it used to be a Konoha nin and wields a wakizashi from the looks of it. Charging at the Phoenix with the sounds of creaks and soft pads. The puppet slashes at Akeno who was watching the whole time, and Akeno spun around the puppet again before landing a solid kick at the puppet’s back. It might be mechanical, but it can still be pushed with its own momentum. In truth Akeno wasn’t particularly worried about this puppet, but she does observe how it moves.

Act I - The Eruption Night Empty Re: Act I - The Eruption Night

Post by Kim Chang-Min Thu Aug 02, 2018 10:27 pm

Toonami was burst forwards from the coffin straight towards the Water Slicers shot by her fellow Kiri ninja. The wild twin was surprised at the force and power that the Sand technique had expelled her yet she managed to angle herself away from a few of the slicers to avoid the worst damage. Nevertheless Toonami was sliced by the techniques and skidded to the ground in front of her sister. Before Konami had a chance to stoop down and check up on her, Toonami popped back up with a maniacal look on her face. Blood was running from her arms, legs, hip, torso and chest. She clenched her fist and the rings she wore around her fingers manifested a pair of black and purple brass knuckles. She stood next to her sister and their exchange was more or less the same albeit with Toonami gasping for breath as she spoke. The Twins were incredibly resilient and so Toonami was more than capable of fighting through the pain without it taking her out of commission. The water bullets of the Kiri Guard squad seemed poised to annihilate their opponent when all of a sudden a massive outgrowth of machinery erupted from the ground. Puppets of all different shapes and sizes burst forth eating up the airspace around them and blanketing the area with bodies. The Kiri shinobi sprang into action and charged the incoming mass of puppets throwing a variety of water techniques into the advancing army. The collision had caused bodies and puppets to fly this way and that. The Twins stood back to back, Toonami armed with her brass knuckles and Konami with her gauntlets. The pair activated their Chakra Enhanced Strength and began going to town on the myriad of puppets that convergered on their location.

The Twins were masters of Taijutsu and so they knew how to deal significant damage in close quarters. A ring of puppets encircled them attacking all at once yet the the blonde haired and blue haired Twins dispatched them with ruthless efficiency. Toonami was wild, making savage strikes and take downs with her increased strength that caused the ground itself to shake. Konami was precise and graceful, aiming at joints and weak points as fast as she could find them in the heat of combat. Occasionally, they passed through each other to strike and attack. Melding and separating like a pair of cells undergoing division. They worked well together and anyone observing would note that the two make a fantastic pair. Yet despite their impressive display of hand to hand combat they were outnumbered and increasingly under siege. Over the roar of combat, Konami called out:

"There are too many of them!! We'll need to call forth more shinobi!" Konami grabbed a human puppet, a shinobi with a Leaf village handband that could not have been more than 15. She smashed his partial wooden skull in and used him as a battering ram to keep several encroachers at bay.

"Fuck thot!" Toonami screamed her magenta eyes beaming with joy. She unleashed a roundhouse kick on an advancing group of puppets that looked to be Suna shinobi. The woman's egregiously long leg whipping out like a missile to obliterate the constructs. "We got this piece! Who else wants some?!" Toonami shouted as she practically charged further into the lethal mosh pit of puppets.

Konami followed after her sister and watched her back. She could not get in touch with her other Kiri shinobi guards as the contingent was blocked off by a mass of puppets who were steadily ganging up on them in greater and greater numbers. "Fuck!" the Mizukage said realizing that they couldn't keep this up forever. Then Akeno unleashed a prodigious blast of fire from the offsides. The attack decimated scores of puppets and provided a window for a few Kiri shinobi to breakthrough. Three Kiri shinobi from the guard contingent that Konami had brought got close to where Alkaid, the shinobi formerly known as Yanagi, and Tsubaki were fighting. The three ninja stepped forward poised to assist the trio in attacking the madman. The flames licked and tore through the enemy lines and the Twins were steadily advancing on Shin, thinning his puppets with well place Chakra Enhanced Strength enhanced Taijutsu. Soon they'd reach him and be able to back up the remarkable young kuniochi that were engaging him.

    [OOC:
I'm going to call non-lethal hits on everyone who ignored an army of puppets rising from the ground. I said you could autohit them at will, not ignore their presence/attacks o.o']

Shin grinned as he noticed all the confusion, chaos and trouble his little army was causing on the battlefield. For all the effort he had put into this weapon, he was glad to be able to say it worked, at least partially, for now. Alas, they all seemed busy just as intended.
The first one to start dealing with puppets in a proper manner was the pesky Lightning Release user who had almost got Shin with a Chidori Senbon technique earlier on the fight. By combining the Shadow Clone technique with yet another lightning jutsu, he began cutting through puppets as if they were made out of butter. Shin wasn't surprised, these puppets weren't built to last really. Instead, they were built to attack in numbers- he could deal with the loss of a few hundred, that wasn't going to be a problem.

His gaze then turned towards the other side of the battlefield, where a trio of female ninjas was about to clash with the Reaper, one of his strongest puppets. They seemed so focused on their targets, however, that they barely noticed the large army spawning right next to them. As Akira began preparing and charging at the Reaper to interrupt its attack on the Kaguyas, a bunch of puppets had already emerged from the ground between her and her target. One of them shaped like a small rhino charged her with equal strength, on the opposite direction. When the two bodies met at equal speed and strength of impact, both of them were stopped on their tracks. The rhino puppet took Akira's shoulder right to the face and was damaged to a point where its face couldn't possibly be used for charging again. However, Akira's body would also have taken a frontal charge of B-ranked strength against her constitution, which would have certainly caused some damage.

The difference between the two groups, however, was numbers. While both the rhino puppet and Akira were temporarily immobilized by the impact, many other humanoid puppets jumped her while she was grounded and stunned, holding her legs and arms down and pinning her to the gound with B-ranked strength. A small monkey puppet would bury its claws on the soft tissue of her shoulder and use its tail to hold a knife to her neck. Several other puppets pointed their weapons at her vital points and some went even beyond pointing and would lean their blades against her body while others pinned her down. The message was pretty clear.

    "Game over for that one."
"A pity, she had potential to grow."
"Still has." The beast seemed surprised.
"I believe you were supposed to take any opportunity you had to eliminate threats here?"
"What sort of threat can she possibly pose to us at her current level?"
"Aye she's weak now, but she'll grow an-"
"No, she won't. Not unless she has to. And that's the problem. Look."

Shin spoke as Tsubaki made her move towards the Reaper. However, as she slid on her hip an arm would rise from the ground right on her trajectory. Because of her momentum, Tsubaki's body would smash this arm and destroy it as she went through it, but she was slowed down. As she approached the Reaper, the puppet jumped upwards at incredible speeds to land a bit further away from the Kaguya. This would allow more than enough space for the small puppets to strike Tsubaki as her trajectory was predictable and she was no faster than them. As she slid across the ground, small blades rose from the dirt and attempted to slice her. Many were stopped by the incredibly resilient Kaguya armor, but others would occasionally target the joins on this armor and would reach her skin causing relatively deep cuts and bleeding.

As soon as the Reaper allowed space for the other puppets to strike her, many would jump on her and put her Kaguya armor to the test. They would strike her arms, legs, torso and even her head with a collection of weapons, some were blunt while others caused piercing and slashing damage, all of this at B-ranked Strength and Speed. Shin had no doubt the Kaguya armor would be enough to allow Tsubaki to survive the ordeal, but he also knew she would have learned a valuable lesson.

"That's the legendary Kaguya armor. I can count by the fingers of my hand the amount of ninjas I knew to be strong enough to pierce it. And yet..."
"It's not enough." The beast was beginning to understand the point Shin was trying to make.
"Before, it was. No doubt this ability of hers is respected throughout the village, and regarded as strong between her peers. So why would she grow stronger?"
"Because her powers are no longer enough?"
"Because she has to survive. See, you wouldn't understand this because you were born ridiculously powerful, but..."
    "...but?"
"But for us humans, it's a different game. We didn't acquire power by accident or chance. We acquired it because we needed it in order to survive. Because without it, we would perish. That struggle kept forcing us to grow stronger and stronger up to a point where a select few of us could even compete with a Tailed Beast."
"...I see." Matatabi seemed rather amused with this trail of thought.
"Do you know why they cannot compete with me today?"
"Because they never had to. It's their first time facing us, and this machine of yours."
"Matatabi, judging by their movements I'd even say it's their first time facing puppets. They're weak and helpless, but it's not their fault."
    "So...you're helping them?"
"Does it look like I'm helping them?"

At this point, the Reaper, finding itself with no direct opponent other than Alkaid, moved on to punish the girl for her rush in attacking. Its target had been successfully hit by at least one of the shot teeth. Yet, she was still standing. Shin couldn't help but wonder how exactly this woman was still standing after being poisoned by one of his best paralyzing venoms. But it mattered not. She had been physically struck at least, and the impact apparently caused her to hesitate and not notice the many puppets that rose from the ground around her and launched themselves at her body, aiming to neutralize her. By the time she was in range of the Reaper's attack, she had several minor puppets holding down her legs and constraining her arms and body with powerful mechanisms able to exert up to B-ranked strength.

    "Shinigami no Mai: Buro-Jinkei"
Dance of the Death God: Mercy Blow, was the only non-lethal technique used through the Reaper. In a flash, the puppet seemed to disappear and appear several times around Alkaid, striking non-lethal but key points with the blunt side of its scythe at amazing speeds and considerable strength. One, two, three blows of A-ranked strength were probably enough to knock out of combat an already wounded opponent. Taking advantage of the dance momentum, the Reaper would strike Alkaid thrice and then move on to the clone of Akeno closing the distance between an already nearby enemy almost immediately and attacking her with all of its speed and strength put into the nearly invisible scyther strikes. More shuriken had been thrown at the puppet, but few in the world matched Shin's shurikenjutsu abilities, and throwing fodder puppets at the incoming shuriken to prevent any of them from hitting the Reaper while it was moving was child's play. Thirty shurikens had been thrown from different directions, and yet all of them met unintended targets as they hit shields or the more resistant parts of some particular puppet. Without chakra infused into them, they were just thrown metal. Predictable, and easily dealt with.
Before the Reaper could reach Akeno's clone, however, it dispersed. The clone had cast a jutsu in the instants it would have taken the Reaper to deal with Alkaide- That was impressive. The Reaper was now left to deal with the three arriving Kirigakure shinobi.

"No, it certainly does not look like it. And yet..."
Shin raised an eyebrow, did the beast see too much? "Yet nothing you do ever matches the way you appear to do it." Shin smiled. Coming from a tailed beast, this was quite a compliment. But Matatabi was catching up on things rather quickly...much faster than Shin had anticipated.
"I sympathize with their struggle, but make no mistake. We will erase the Shinobi World as it is known today. That change will have to come at a price. All of them are weak today. Some of them will still be weak tomorrow. I'm willing to pay the blood price with strong and weak blood alike... but I will pay no more than I have to. Today is not a payday. Besides, I do-Oh."

Shin noticed the two jutsu created by Akeno's clones. By instinct alone, he was able to make the Reaper move out of the 3.5 meters radius before it could have been hit by the jagged rock. But had its speed been any less than it was, it would have certainly been a troublesome hit.
"Impressive..." And things were about to get even more impressive. With a single Horse hand seal, Akeno bolstered chakra inside her body and spewed out one of the most formidable Fire Release Techniques known to ninjas: The Great Fire Annihilation. Shin noticed her positioning and tried to predict the technique's trajectory.
"Oh no!" He wasn't in immediate danger, the technique was a wide one and if aimed at Shin it would certainly vaporize the Kaguyas as well. The technique's purpose was instead to neutralize as great of a number of puppets as possible...the real problem was one particular puppet that was in the way of the technique.

"Booooooock!" it cried out, as its beautifully crafted feathers, beak and body were reduced to ashes.

"My chicken puppet..." Shin was legitely sad about losing that one.
"Why the hell did you bring a chicken puppet to a war?"
"I'll have you know Mr.ChickenBell was used for 13 successful assassinations before that witch burned it down."

None of the Kirigakure force's blows and strikes had hurt quite as much as this one. But alas, this was the middle of a battle and in battle there are casualties!
"Seems like they're not as weak and helpless as you'd make me believe...that one is rather interesting."
"They're doing better. But better isn't well...Alas, you're right she is interesting, just like lightning boy over there. And so are those two." Shin glanced at the Twins, who by now were decimating hordes of puppets with nothing more than their hands. Even the puppet which one of them held in her hands to use as a battering ram was helpless to do anything about it. After the wide lightning jutsu, the huge fire technique and Koonami and Toonami's dual taijutsu style, Shin's lines were indeed getting thinned down. But he still had more than enough puppets to keep this going for a little while longer.

"So how do you judge the two village's combined efforts to keep the army at bay? They seem to be doing alright, considering their numbers."
"Hmmm, it's hard to tell. It's true that they are pushing forward rather well on the Mizukage's side, but the side facing the Reaper is struggling. Plus, only three out of ten Kage Puppets have been deployed so far, and they're struggling against only one in combat. None of our human puppets are using their ninjutsu either...the machine doesn't allow it yet. Hmm...Still, I would say they're doing better than expected, considering their lack of information and the nature of our surprise attack."
"Can you really afford to lose these many soldiers on a test?" The beast seemed once again amused. To Matatabi, this was little more than a game, and yet one it found surprisingly entertaining.
"We're losing nothing. Look at the battlefield, Matatabi." The beast was looking, but it saw nothing new. It was impossible to deduce Shin's next words from the battlefield alone. "There are many of puppets down there. Hundreds of which are made from human bodies. Do you know how many of those I killed, myself?"
    "..."
"None. Not one. All of those soldiers died in struggles, battles, and wars between the five villages. All of those lives were forfeited in the name of warfare, not by me, but by them." This wasn't entirely true. A small fraction of the Sunagakure human puppets down there had been sent to battle against Kirigalure by Shin himself, so in a way, he was responsible for that, too. "I am merely having them face the consequences of their actions. All of those dead bodies were produced by Kirigakure no Sato one way or another, I assure you. I picked each and every one of them carefully."
    "..."
"Three hundred and thirty-six. Men, women, and children. Two hundred and ninety-five of which were ninjas. I wish I could tell you their names, but most were forgotten once they drew their last breath."
"You are...using casualties of war as soldiers?"
"Casualties of their wars. Do you know how many people died in the last Great Shinobi War? Trust me, we have no lack of soldiers. 300 is nothing, a mere scouting party. Should I have had more time to tune this prototype, we would have been here today with several thousand."
"Weren't those your wars, too?" The beast hit a nerve.
"Aye...and Sunagakure has paid the price."

Shin felt his strength waver a little. They needed to hurry. It was time to begin the next phase of their attack. Removing his hands from the sphere, the Kazehana made use of his bloodline abilities to conjure one of its most powerful jutsus. Making hand seals at such speeds that even a sharingan would have difficulty tracking, Shin was about to change the battlefield entirely.

Shin launched a massive amount of sand in the forms of giant waves, which would cover the entire battlefield below him and likely "drown" the opponents in an ocean of sand. this sand had come from the sand which had been placed underground earlier, grinding the rocks and minerals from underground into a large sea of sand and manipulating it like a tsunami that would engulf absolutely all the things in his line of sight. One, two, three assaults by giant sand waves would be rushed at his opponents and engulf everything. It was fair to say this huge sand attack covered the area of an entire village. Shin was able to makre the Reaper gracefully slide across the waves and remain safely on top of them...but could his opponents do the same?

"I see you're making good use of my chakra."
"Shush. We're almost done. Pick your prey already."
Beneath the sand waves, moving as fast or even faster than the Reaper, another predator awaited its turn to shine... and it was making its way towards Akeno.

The Lightning transmission technique worked to perfection. Satomi and his clone ran almost fifty meters before stopping. A swarm of bodies lay in their wake. No blood no screams. For these puppets were dolls, they didn't feel pain. Sato surveyed the battlefield with his coveted eyes. He saw a battle here and there. But there was something he wasn't quite ready for. Shin seemed he could through so more craziness their way. He was entirely right. There was a monstrosity heading towards them. The Reaper, one of Shin's stronger puppets headed upwards and managed to stay above it.

A large wave of sand, bot just large, gigantic, coming straight towards them. He wasn't about to led this man get jump on the rest of Kiri like this. Especially since he interrupted their peace talks. Now to show them what the Leaf and Mist could do once they work together. They both ran till they got close enough to the buildup of sand. They looked at what looked like certain death.

They both gave each other a desperate look but nodded. They concentrated a high amount of chakra into one of their hands. This was a lot more power than before. He used his other arm in ordered to stabilize it. He was shaking slightly, didn't need them getting in his way. Satomi looked at the first wave that threatened to overtake him. Sato looked up and looked strong and he said, "Lightning Release: Purple Electricity"

The clone and the Uchiha held their hand out and fired a very large stream of lightning. The chaotic attack shrieked as it tore through the air. Then all of sudden they combined, creating a more powerful stream of lightning. It blasted the wave and tore right through it. This blast would cut through the waves extend all the way to Reaper his true target. Which would do some heavy damage to it.
