A little late to the ballgame but welcome to 2023 Gladius Players!
As this is the first real update of the year I suppose it makes perfect sense to not have a 2023 update thread up yet but here we are!
To start the year we have an update on experience rules. Specifically in regards to training grounds. The normal training grounds in villages will once again give a +5 experience bonus to posts made training in them.
Because of the above change the Grand Konoha Training Facility and it's equivalents will give a +10 increase instead.
Next we're clarifying that Unique NPC's have 3 attunement slots.
Furthermore we're changing how resets are earned. Where once everyone only got a single free reset over the course of their characters lifetime with additional ones given out during major site updates. Now they can be earned on a per character basis every time a player passes two activity checks. This means someone has their initial free reset, and gains another after passing two activity checks if they used it to change their build for some reason.
This is to encourage experimentation with builds and allow people to have a bit more fun with their characters with the knowledge that they will be able to fix mistakes made relatively soon.
Each character can only have 1 reset stocked at a time. So if a character has not used theirs yet they will not gain a second one after passing two activity checks. Progress toward a reset will begin after using the held one.
Finally in regards to the renown rules the 12,500 Renown Reward of a 'Free A rank Weapon' has been switched a 'Free A rank Item'. This is simply because it did not really make sense to make the reward so specific as to be a weapon when a weapon might not be helpful to players. So there are now two reward tiers that award a 'Free A Rank Item' instead of simply one.
