| NEW SHINOBI MARKETPLACE UPDATE! Yes! We are continuing our efforts to improve and update the site. With this first one will be a big change to the Shinobi Marketplace. Yes, again. Unlike the last one, this version is actually a new version and not just a change in how the shop is represented -- but the shop, itself, is brand new. You can access it HERE. Due to the change in Shinobi Marketplace, a lot of items have been removed. You are entitled to a refund on the following items: (with proof of purchase in your Updates)
The following have been changed or had their names changed in some way:
Crafting Items Crafting Items have been changed completely. Now, in order to purchase a crafting material, it will be up to you to decide what rank of crafting material you want to buy and up to you to decide what that material is when you create a craft. Any existing Crafting Items you still have in your inventory will now take on the properties of that Rank of Hardness item. So if you have Silver (C++ Hardness), it is now simply a C Rank Crafting Item. To compensate for this, a new crafting station has been added called "Smith's Hammer" which will allow the user to get up to (++) hardness. Engineering Parts such as Copper Wire, Aluminum Pressurized Canister, and Transducers are no longer available. They are now just considered Crafting Materials now. Copper Wire and Aluminum Pressurized Canisters are now considered C Rank Crafting Materials and a Transducer is now considered a B Rank Crafting Material. Cement Mixer has been removed and can be refunded as it's kinda unnecessary now as Engineering buildings now uses similar principles, with crafting materials that actual crafting has. Weapons and Armor Completely changed. Do not have long lists of weapons and armor. Changed to being apped items so people can make their own weapons and make their own armor. All Shop items are still C Rank. All currently existing weapons and armor will stay that way and cannot be refunded. New Service added called Reforge to allow players to upgrade their C Rank Shop Weapon/Armor to B Rank and will be allowed to have 1 Enchantment slot. Increases Shop Prices Let's face it, Ryo is kinda pointless on the site. We are working on more methods of increasing things to spend Ryo on (which may come in future patches) so keep an eye out on that. Everything has had their prices increased especially crafting materials. Staff Additions Staff reserves the rights to add items to the Shinobi Shop or alter items in the Shinobi Shop at a whim. Doing so will have an accompanied announcement of the change. If there is a specific item you wish to see added to the shop, let us know and we'll review it. If we like it, we'll add it in. New Secret Shop The new secret shop will be added before the end of the next Activity Check. There will be changes to the format and items provided. |

| Custom Entities Due to how special Entities are supposed to be, the staff has decided that creating Custom Entities that are, in no way, Canon or Canon Adjacent, (Roen is canon as it was part of a novel) will no longer be allowed to be made from now-on. Those who have Custom Entities will be grandfathered in until we decide to do a Timeskip -- which is when we plan on completely getting rid of Custom Entities. | Physically sealing a Bijuu It has been a long time coming, but new rules have been officially laid out for for sealing Entities during a thread. This does not include those who claim entities via S/X Class but in the middle of a topic.
This rule will take effect immediately, even in topics on-going right now (mainly the 3 bijuu threads happening). This rule has also been added to the 9 tailed beasts, Roen, and Nue. All beasts, in the future, that is to be sealed within a target will also fall under these rules. So have a high ranking seal and protect your future Jinchuuriki! Rescinding Part of Last Update It was mentioned in discord, but it will now be mentioned here. The above announcement about Custom Entities will be changed to: - Creation of new Custom Entities will be ceased for a short while until new rules for handling the creation of Custom Entities can be made. It will no longer be grandfathered in nor removed. Just be patient and we'll eventually get to working on these rules once we've cleared our plate a bit. |

| EXP Update EXP has boomed for a while and the boon of solos granting 10 base at 5 solo posts per day has come to an end. Solos now grant only 5 base EXP at 3 solo posts per day. I'm aware this isn't going to be a very popular among the playerbase, but the boom of EXP has come to an end. All solo posts made after this announcement will now be subject to the new numbers. Note: The 10 Base EXP will remain for group threads though to further incentivize group RPs. If you have any questions about this, ask me or another member of staff.

 Staff has been brought to the attention of the current version of Six Paths Sage Mode and has deemed it far too powerful to be in the Entity category. It's power far exceeded other Entity Level Restricteds and thus it was pulled down and reworked to be more in-line with what Bijuu level strength should be. Old Path of Indra

Change Log
- In order to gain specific Path of Indra or Path of Asura skills, the user will be required to gain Control and win the Control Fight. - Senjutsu Chakra Regeneration mid-battle has been changed to be more in-line with other Bijuu and not allow the user to have near infinite regeneration. This was seen as allowing Sages to have infinite Senjutsu Chakra and can maintain their Sage Mode indefinitely -- which isn't balanced with how much Senjutsu Chakra they can obtain (S++ Stamina worth). This has been changed to be more in-line with how Bijuu regain their chakra. - To gain Path specific skills no longer costs 3500 EXP upfront any more. It will be split up between most of the skills gained by obtaining control. Path of Indra - Combat Mastery Skill removed - True Sight Skill Removed - Hinokagutsuchi removed - Rinne-Sharingan no longer has immunity to use Izanagi and Izanami - Rinne-Sharingan can be upgraded to Rinne-Mangekyou Sharingan allowing the user to access Mangekyou Sharingan abilities (will still deal Eye Damage). Still must be obtained as per stated in the Uchiha Clan. - The user is capable of gaining Rinne-Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan if they use an Enhanced State, conferring bonuses from the EMS. Still must be obtained as per stated in the Uchiha Clan - The user now gains 2 General Rinnegan Techniques for free and now able to purchase up to 3 additional General Rinnegan Techniques at EXP cost (as stated in the Otsutsuki Clan) - Susano'o may be leveled up to Level 7 - Limbo: Border Jail: Added as an optional Restricted Technique (if the user has the Restricted Tech Slot). Path of Asura - Everything given by Path of Asura is now only usable while the user is in Chakra Cloak. - Additional Chakra property has been reduced from a max of 250 CP to a max of 150 CP. This was seen as a bit too much. - Mastery of Ninshu has now been completely overhauled. This, essentially, just made the user a complete god of all things chakra. This was seen as too much. This was changed to allowing the user to create/choose 2 techniques up to A Rank of all basic elements and canon advanced elements (besides dust, Blaze, or yin-yang). - Enhanced Truth Seeking Balls has been removed. New Path of Asura
New Path of Indra
While we understand this might be upsetting to the users of Six Paths Sage Mode, the previous incarnation was just too much. It was far too strong, even exceeding the strength of what should be the strongest entity being Kurama. (or 10 tails, but that hasn't been created yet). If you have spent EXP that no longer exists between the two versions, you may get a refund on it in your Character Update. | Character Registration Clan Clarification Due to there being an unwritten rule that was smuggled into an update in 2018, there has been some confusion about how to handle clans belonging to unregisterable clans. My lack of psychic powers caused quite a bit of confusion as of late and I do apologize for that. I'll do my very best to work on my psychic prowess. This line has been changed to clarify what is allowed when joining. Now nobody needs psychic powers to decypher these unwritten rules revolving clans. |

 Pirates and Bandits Abound! This is integration into fixing the massive inflation of the site (temporary fix until the Village/Organization Rules have been finished) and with an event incoming. This really only affects people who do Village Updates. Bandits and Pirates mysteriously appear before trade routes on both land and sea. All money that was sent from minor nations to their owning major nations have been pilfered, leaving the crew of the caravans and their vehicles and horses alive and unbothered. All ships carrying money and goods will be pilfered by Ghost Ships who, like the bandits, only steal the goods and money while leaving the ships and their crews in-tact. What could cause these bandits and pirates to only go about stealing money and resources? Are they gathering money and resources for a greater cause or are they just Robin-Hooding all of the resources to spread to others? Only time will tell! ------ System Explanation This is done to combat the absolutely bonkers amount of money flowing in. How long this will last? That's to be determined. - All Ryo from Minor Nations will be pilfered. It will not make it to the major nations. - All Ryo for Minor Nations will be pilfered in the event that minor nation doesn't send it's ryo out. This will leave their accounts at 0 after paying for upkeep. - All money from resources (Wood, Metal, Crops, Fish, Livestock) from other villages will not make it to it's destination if it comes from a country other than your own
Kirigakure is sending Konohagakure 1 Livestock. That Livestock doesn't reach Konohagakure and is considered gone for good. - The only forms of money a Major Village can make is from their own Resources, income from your Base Size, Mission Payouts, and Donations. - All Ryo from Dwellings within your country may contribute to village income -- this only applies to major nations. Special Note for the Stag Emporium - Only whatever money is generated by the Floating City, itself, is what can be gained. - Wind Country is capable of generating income -- however, the Stag Emporium will be required to get the money manually by visiting Wind Country. - Any money gained by it's major/Minor Nations will be 0 and will be subject to Minor Nation money theft. - Any money gained from Stag Towers abroad will be pilfered and no money will be gained. Special Note for Raijin - Lightning will be the only country capable of generating income. Raijin will need to visit Lightning Country manually to get the money. - Frost/Hotsprings/Snow will not generate any income and will be subject to Minor Nation money theft. Exceptions Single player-owned countries (only 1 country) is exempt from this. Such as:
Light and Rice Diana and Key Loopholes There will be no loopholing by granting ownership of a Minor Nation to a certain individual(s) to avoid this outcome. This also accounts for any individual invading/taking over a country for the duration of this effect. Duration of this? TBD. |

 As many of you might know, we are undergoing a substantial change to the economic system here in Gladius due to the massive amount of money flowing in. Some of you may agree that this needs to be done while others may absolutely hate it. Regardless of your position, it is a required change that needs to happen. While we do agree that "more things to spend money on" would solve that problem, which yes, we do agree and we are working on measures for that, we have also decided to work on some auxiliary systems that feed into this. And the first piece of that puzzle will be the Lifestyle Rules. Some big changes you'll notice are the number of lifestyles have been reduced by 1. Squallid and Wretched have been combined together and given an actual benefit while also having a pretty drastic drawback. Another big change you'll notice are the passive (+) bonuses. The level of their bonuses will be determined by your Lifestyle. You'll have to read it more. And Aristocratic has now taken on a bigger role with a much large purse required to keep it. You will also notice that only the Aristocratic will now have access to the secret shop -- when we decide to make the new one. Another really big change is the Lifestyle needed for auto-matic item repair. Items no longer automatically repair with Comfortable and you'll need to get your stuff repaired a bit more frequently now -- and that's goign to be a bit more expensive. FOR THOSE IN THE CHUUNIN EXAMS For those participating in the Chuunin exams, anything you have currently will remain that way until the Updates lock has been lifted. Once the updates lock has been lifted, you will be expecting to change to reflect this change. Due to the changes above, a repair service has been added to the "Other Services" in the Shinobi Marketplace. This is to allow anyone whose gear doesn't automatically repair itself (anyone below wealthy) to be able to repair their own items. This shall not be loopholed by giving the item to someone that is wealthy, repair it, then give it back to the other person. We had talks to possibly expand this to A rank but that would step on other people's toes. Well, I tried. Anyway, there seemed to be a miscommunication in terms of Reforging that you get an enchantment for reforging -- which wasn't the original intention. That has been fixed with a rewording that the B-Rank enchantment has to be obtained separately and that reforging doesn't just come with the enchantment. |

 National Secrecy and Annexation Rules Staff has released new rules as a peripheral ruling surrounding the Economy System. That being the protection and acquisition of Minor Nations with the new "National Secrecy and Annexation Rules". Due to these rules being in multiple places (for the time being), the rules stated General Organization and Village Rules about taking over nations WILL BE IGNORED and will be replaced with the new set of rules. You can find those rules: HERE. I would HIGHLY suggest reading these rules if you plan on interacting with other Minor Nations. Notable Changes - Scouting has also had the amount of time changed a bit. - The Buy-Out Costs for a minor nation will ONLY apply for the initial purchase of the Minor Nation. The price will sky-rocket if and only if the nation becomes "Unclaimed" again through various means -- generally involving a country just wanting to make a minor nation free or the owner goes AFK for too long. - The Annexation of a Minor Nation now has been defined and is required to be followed. - A new system, more of an update, to the "Gaining Favor" via EXP system has been updated to "Heart and Minds". There is a pretty big system involving that so take a look and see.

 Kotoshura Clan Change Kotoshura Clan This isn't a rework of the clan, this is a revision. The clan previously didn't have anything stating it requires Clan Head Position nor Clan Head Permission in order to obtain. This caused a bit of an issue and was eventually sorted out. The following now require the Clan Head Permission or being in the Clan Head Position to obtain: + Explosive Release: Explosive Clay Stage 1 -- 250 EXP + C4 + C0 If you already have these techniques, you are grandfathered in. |

 Teleportation Techniques After a discussion with staff about Teleportation Techniques, staff was in a gridlock about allowing Custom Teleportation Techniques (even short-range). Through a discussion going back and forth between staff, Staff has decided that any and all Custom Teleportation techniques, outside of the Teleportation Techniques currently available, (FTG, Yomotsu Hirasaka, Mayfly, Animal Path Summonin, Kamui, etc etc) will be disallowed from here-on out (Excluding customs that derive from a Canon Teleportation technique). This comes from fears of abuse of these kind of techniques and the wide proliferation of these kind of techniques. We were told that if you want Teleportation that you are to fulfill the requirements for said Teleportation techniques as the bar for entry is relatively low. Sorry for the inconvenience that this might cause. |
