Contract Name: Salamander Contract
Type: Animal
Specimen: Amphibian Salamanders
Culture/Lore: Salamanders are resident in some parts of the world, but the more diverse types live in the Land of Rain, which is under the control of Amegakure. The most well-known Salamander is the Black Salamander, known for it's paralysing poison. The salamanders were thought to be wild, too feral for anyone to domesticate them and their poison made it too dangerous for anyone to attempt taming them. Long ago, this changed when a man in the Land of Rain had been experimented on with an alchemist mix, giving him the poisonous nature of a black salamander and in extension allowed him to tame the wild salamanders, to which he binded their control to what's known today as the Salamander Scroll. This scroll has been passed down through his descendants and eventually, to any person of the Rain who is deemed worthy of having the contract.
As long as the holder's name is in the scroll, salamanders, both apart of the contract and wild salamanders will be unusually friendly to the holder.
Element(s): Water
Designated Skill: Ijutsu
Summoning Method: By using the summoning jutsu as per normal, with blood in the mix.
Requirements: Must possess the salamander scroll to summon forth a salamander with this contract, the scroll must also have the holder as the recognised owner of the scroll which is a written signature on the scroll itself. Anyone else attempting to use the contract will not bring forth any salamanders. The only way for holders to change is for the current holder to give up their ownership of the scroll and give it to someone else, or for them to die and the signature in the scroll becomes blank, waiting to be filled out again.
Drawbacks: Salamanders are more drawn to the wet or moist climates, hence why their home is usually the Land of Rain, because of this they drop a tier in speed when they're in arid climates.
Holders: Kureji Toukei
Exclusive Perks
Poisonous: Salamanders of this contract tend to be poisonous, mechanically speaking, the poison they can produce is based on the same rank as the summon. For example, an A-Class Salamander can produce A-Rank poison.
