Description: The Uchiha Gunbai is a non-folding fan, carved from a unique spirit tree from which only ritualistic instruments are made. This Gunbai has been passed down between Uchiha clansmen for generations, typically being wielded by the Clan Leader. It is a wide fan with tomoe on it and has a long handle with bandages wrapped around the base, as well as having a long chain attached to it.
The Gunbai has the ability to allow its user to pay 20 chakra points in order to convert incoming chakra into wind nature transformation, reflecting an opponent's attack back towards them with power and speed equivalent to the attack. This ability affects attacks that use chakra of S-Rank and lower. In order to be able to use the ability, the Gunbai needs to make contact with the attack although this does not damage the Gunbai.
The Gunbai allows the user to utilize Wind Release techniques through it, even if the user does not possess the Fuuton Element, however this is limited to techniques that use the Gunbai or similar item such as great task of the dragon or Gunbai fanned winds. Any technique used through the Uchiha Gunbai can be used in combination with Fire Release techniques, by having the wind carry the flames and deliver fire damage as well as the wind techniques damage. Fire Techniques carried by a technique using the Gunbai will have their power increased by 1 rank.
