Sealing Mode: Maka is able to dedicate her focus to pure seal usage. This allows her to slash costs of sealing techniques by one rank, but forces her to increase the cost of Taijutsu by one rank.
Bruiser: By kicking it into high gear, Maka can raise her Strength, Speed and Coordination by one plus. This doesn't come without its risks -- should she do this, her precognitive capabilities are weakened, and this is expressed by a one tier drop in Intelligence. This also cannot be used if the user's Intelligence is already at a point where they cannot use precognitive responses.
Lightbringer: If she wills it, Maka can drop the costs of Light Release techniques by one rank, but as a consequence this raises Lightning Release technique costs by one rank. This can only be activated or deactivated every other turn to restrict increase evasion in the same post.
Sixth Sense: Sometimes you just need to be more aware; if it's necessary, Maka can reduce her Coordination by one tier, and raise her Perception by one tier.
Appearance: Standing at 5’4” and weighing just some over one hundred pounds, Maka isn't all that foreboding as far as stature goes. Puberty’s delighted her form just a little bit, with some indications being an average bust of slightly wider hips. In that respect her most prominent feature might be her rear, considering it has some size to it, but nothing to gloat over. She still has a long way to go in the department of physique, but her half-bloodedness has done nothing to impair her facial features.
Maka has a pair of lively, jewel-like blueish green eyes always full of curiosity and intrigue. Her skin's taken care of well, lacking in blemishes or any particular features. The fair-skinned girl has platinum blonde hair just as untampered, typically done up in a braided bun, a ponytail hanging past her shoulders, or completely untouched. As far as clothing goes, all that she ever wears to indicate half of her lineage is a small pendant upon the left breast of the white dress shirt she usually wears with skirts and pantyhose, always varying in color, and a just as colorful bow hanging from the collar. Naturally, she wears dress shoes befitting of her typical wear.
The blonde sometimes wears makeup in more formal settings, or even suits more befitting of a man, but she usually tries to wrap her chest if that's the case. In more feminine activities she naturally wears dresses and of the like, conforming to expectations.
History: Maka’s birth was one that came as a surprise, as expected of someone who isn't entirely part of one clan. With the Ueda being mostly dedicated to Sunagakure after a majority had otherwise succumbed to birth defects from inbreeding in Yukigakure, a select few had mostly served as wandering shinobi. Among them was her father, a man talented in the kekkei genkai that the clan was capable of using. He eventually came to the Land of Water, where he met Maka's mother, a woman recently divided into the Ikari branch of the Haya Clan.
With their relationship slowly blooming as a result of a shared isolation from their varying lineages, they eventually settled down and retired from the career of shinobi, having Maka. She'd move onto living a rather normal life within Kirigakure, eventually joining the academy out of inspiration prompted by her father. Getting mostly attuned to the only elemental nature she had, Maka became more of a Ninjutsu specialist, graduating just a year off from present time. Since then, she's mostly focused on honing her abilities, hoping that one day she can tap into her father's advanced element, and her mother's lineage.
Personality: Maka is unorthodox in the sense that like the standard Ikari, she follows neither of the other two clan’s branches’ customs. Much like a Taira, she has a sense of nobility and dedication, and is a trustworthy individual. She tends to try and be honest to others around her, and prefers being merciful over bringing harm. Unlike them though, Maka will still carry out actions that don't follow her sense of morality if they're absolutely necessary. She isn't afraid to run the risk, especially if it ensures her own safety, or the safety of those she cares about.
Outside of that varying sense of honor, Maka is a relaxed individual. She takes pleasure in interacting with others and getting to know them, especially if they have similar interests to her own. The female is fond of jokes, and likes people that have a good sense of humor or courage. She expresses a unique sense of enthusiasm towards people like that, as well as their goals and ambitions, and strives to be similar to them and help them achieve them. If ever asked about this, she'd simply respond with stating it's because she has passions of her own that she wishes to achieve.
