One-Handed Seals: Kanna has always possessed the odd quirk of abnormally-high ambidexterity. By training it years down the line she's eventually learned how to do handseals with one hand.
Natural Acrobat: Kanna's usual fighting style incorporates putting her mobility capabilities above physical force behind blows. She's far more likely to pride herself on landing multiple blows to deal more damage overtime than just relying on one blow to end it all. Of course, the fact that she's usually on her toes while attacking means that she doesn't have as much time to put lots of force into her blows. [1 + to Coordination, in exchange for 1 - to Strength. Applies only to combat scenarios.]
Appearance: Being fresh into adulthood and within her prime, Kanna has a youthful look and a build to go with it. Her eyes are a deep shade of cyan and her skin possesses a milky, fair complexion. Her ravenosu locks are usually straight, with the exceptions of the ends that curl and fade into a vibrant shade of red. Her face consists of (not abnormally) thin eyebrows, thick eyelashes that accentuate her welcoming, sea-colored gaze, and a button nose--paired with slightly plump lips beneath.
Since she's a kunoichi and all, she prioritizes her physical frame over trying to make herself look pretty, so her face is typically un-adorned by makeup. On rare occasion, usually something like an important conference that requires her presence, she'll wear a light amount. Makeup aside, her body itself is well-maintained since it's basically what she fights with. Most of her muscle is lean as a means to keep her quick on her feet and unimpeded by excess mass.
Kanna stands at around five foot nine [5'9"] and she weighs in at around one-hundred and twenty eight pounds [128 lbs], though she wouldn't be the one telling you that. Her upper body is one that's accentuated by an average bust [mid C-Cup], something she's lucky to have so she has less to weigh her down, and the faintest hint of abs running along her sculpted lower torso. As for the lower half of her body, she possesses thick thighs and a gluteus-to-gloat-about, both compacted somewhat by the workout regime that's toned her legs in conjunction with them.
Contrary to her picture, Kanna's clothing is far less revealing. She typically wears the general Chuunin vest over black robes with the collar sprawled out to partially reveal her shoulders and upper chest when the vest isn't covering them up. The robes' armsleeves are broad and leave plenty of space within them, whereas the bottom part is a little more form-fitting and cuts off at the left hip, draping over just the right leg and ending in ripped tatters that fade into a deep shade of crimson [while donning a flame-esque pattern].
Her legs are covered by short, black shorts made of spandex, and lengthy, fishnet warmers that extend from just above the kneecaps down to the ankles, partially covered by the black sandals that go up to her mid-ankles. Of course, this is just her general shinobi gear; she wears different clothing when she isn't on duty. In addition, while on duty her hair is fashioned in a lengthy ponytail, whereas off duty it's free.
History: Kanna was born as one of the four children of her mother and father in the year that the mighty Hyuuga and Uchiha began to fight against one another. Since her family never necessarily was part of a clan, they just went under the allegiance of the Senju, whom seeked out peace within Hi no Kuni. And sure enough it wasn't long before their efforts to bring the bad blood to an end succeeded, leaving her to live within the growing tranquility of Konohagakure no Sato as it budded to life by the time she was in her teen years.
Growing up without the worries of fighting for her life instead allowed her to focus on life within the village, doing her best to help build up a healthy foundation for the future generation. As someone generally tenacious and willing to help, her contribution was a healthy one as years went on, and as she did her best to give the village a helping hand with all that was necessary. And as the village grew, she did too, learning new things to use to defend it should it ever come to harm, and shaping new bonds along the way.
It wasn't long before she was ripe into adulthood, years worth of experience as a kunoichi serving under allegiance of Konohagakure no Sato under her belt. After all that time of faithfully serving her village so that it could grow and prosper, her efforts had paid off. It was with all that that when she'd received her flak jacket and her promotion, she'd felt as though she lived up to her efforts and felt truly accomplished. And that she was another step along the staircase to fame and recognition amongst her peers.
Personality: Kanna, at heart, is a very energetic individual. She's passionate about making those around her happy, and unlike most people with that trope, she never forgets her own happiness. Afterall, her happiness stems from the happiness of those around her. She does her best to put a smile on other's faces even in the event that it seems like it's the biggest obstacle of all to her or everyone as a whole.
All in all, the woman is also a fairly down-to-earth person. She likes to socialize with other people and know what interests them, so that she'll know if she shares the same interests. Despite all of this, she still knows how to be a kunoichi. She can set aside emotions and pride---or just general "human weakness" as some consider it, to fight if it maintains the foundation of the village, and if it preserves the place she grew with. One could even say that if making people happy isn't Kanna's biggest passion, it's protecting her home--the village.
Kanna also tries to be a very understanding person. She doesn't like being unable to understand others, especially if she cannot understand the sentiment of those within the village. She deems fellow inhabitants of Konohagakure as friends and acquintances alike, and even some of the people closer to her as family. So most of the time, she does her best to restrain herself from saying anything out of line that may offend them---after all it's important for maintaining the expected level of maturity that people would expect from a Chuunin.
It was no later than four in the morning. Birds tweeted and chirped as they slipped out of their slumber--not because they were prepared for a new day, but because of something else. Beyond their tweeting resonated the occasional flicker of bright light, and with it, the audible sound of metal clashing.
In a meadow masked by thickets of timberland in Hi no Kuni, two figures dashed toward one another, a streak of silver pacing itself behind the kunai each of them held in a dominant hand. One figure was garbed in black robes, adorned with the generic green flak jacket that your usual Chuunin wore. And upon their forehead flashed the engraved symbol of Konohagakure upon their forehead protector as it reflected in the moon lit night.
Their feet rustled the tall, dew-covered grasses as they closed their distance, and with a swivel upon their heel, released the kunai from their hold, letting it whiz forth. As quick as the action was performed they yanked their arm into an arch, hand clasping with the other one to contort a set of handseals. Their foe, a bandit judging by the tattered cloth adorned with an array of light and dark browns, promptly brandished their weapon, deflecting the kunai and sending it shooting off to the side.
"Die!" Their murderous intent reveberated through the grizzly nature of their vocal cords as they shouted, causing several of the recently-awoken pigeons in the trees nearby to flutter away promptly, flapping away from the combat sequence. The bandit sluggishly closed what little distance was required, attempting to promptly swing the kunai for the Chuunin's throat. Cyan irises shifted from beyond the coverage of their ravenous locks, readily reading the incoming attack.
In what seemed like a pre-programmed response, the figure ducked down just as an explosion rang out off on the side, distracting the bandit. "W-what the!?" That was when he recalled the odd piece of paper at the end of the kunai---an explosive tag. Before he could rebound and see if his hit connected, the Chuunin had already managed to duck down, her leg flinging forth to ram into his ankle and remove his balance.
As quick as the kick made it's connection, what followed came faster. A brief glint of effervescence enveloped the Chuunin's fist as they fired their arm out at the bandit's chest, with the detonation giving just enough time to light up their frame--making it clear they were of female persuasion. The chakra-engulfed fist audibly cracks more than just a rib as it slams into the man's form, quickly carrying the momentum behind the attack into his body as he's fired back like a human bullet, and knocked through numerous trees shortly after.
Once it's clear that she's subdued the man, she stands up from her partial crouch, cracking her knuckles some and pressing her open palm against her hip. "... I wasn't trying to hit him that hard, but it was that or he would just try to kill me again..." The Chuunin murmurs, emitting a sigh as she briefly lowers her center of balance then bounds off of the earth with the aid of chakra promptly bursting from her feet as a brief use of Suimen. She starts to head back in the direction from whence she came---the village of Konohagakure no Sato.
