An Uchiha's Hatred - The Story of Blood and Fire {Hanabi/Ren}

It had been a while since Ren found himself with the time to return to the Grand Training Facility, however today he was free of responsibility at least for the time being as he was not assigned a mission currently. Having not been to train since the day he met Suzuya, Ren was looking forward to getting some practice in. Dressed in a black skintight shitagi underneath a midnight-blue kisode, his all black hakama, with his Hitai-ate tied to and dangling from his obi as well as the three sacks of provisions he had purchased. Ren would look himself over in the mirror as he slipped into his newly purchased Sweetsilk Cloak rather than his typical Haori, considering they had been nice enough to tailor the cloak to bear the Uchiha Insignia as his Haori did it seemed only right for him to wear it. Of course, it provided no protection, neither did his Haori, and this comes with the added bonus of being sticky as well when a miniscule amount of chakra was applied to it. Using that ability now to store his various items on the inside of the cloak due to his lack of pockets, it was not that he thought he would need them for his training, but he wanted to get used to the thought of carrying them and so could use this as some practice.

Once he was done Ren would make his way to the training facility, thinking about trying out some new Raiton techniques considering he had recently discovered a knack for the chakra manipulation. He was nowhere near as efficient with it as he was his Katon, nor was he half as good with it as Airi or Suzuya were, but that was why he needed to train. Entering the Facility, the receptionist within would direct him to the rooftop training area so that he would have an easier time with his Raiton training as well as some nice fresh air while he was training. Riding the elevator straight up to the top he was thankful that no one was on another floor trying to get into the elevator, once at the top the doors would open to reveal the largest training area he had seen. Rather than cubed rooms like each floor had, this open space area was as large as the building itself. Sure, it didn't have the same luxuries as the rooms did, such as the artificial rivers or trees and grass, but he didn't really need that for what he was training. The dark clouds overhead would bring a smile to Ren's face as he inhaled a deep breath, a storm was brewing which meant he was going to be able enjoy himself out here with his training.

Hanabi unknowingly if what may come, decided to go to the training facility to learn more of her newly found sharingan. Maybe to test it on someone who was willing to spar with her. She walked into the facility, sporting leggings, a crop top and a fishnet top under it. She wore two swords on her right thigh and one sword on her back, her swords clanking together at some points when she stepped. Stepping up to the counter, the receptionist redirected her to the top floor, that way it’d be spacious enough for just one on one instead of multiple people being entrapped. Hanabi thanked the receptionist and walked to the elevator, stepping inside and waiting patiently. Something felt off to her, almost like something was going go to wrong today. Her eyebrow twitched, worried that maybe nobody would be there but if nobody was, she would always do training with other elements or skills she had. Looking at the floor numbers count up to the top floor, the elevator shifted to a stop, rising up and then falling down just a little bit. The doors opened, her first step out, she covered her eyes with her hand and arm, looking about. Cloudy and windy. Maybe a storm was coming? She didn’t realize how bad it was until coming up to the top where it was spacious.


Hanabi made her way to the center, looking around while grabbed on to her swords. Seeing a man from behind, she went to go talk to him but coming closer, the back of his head seemed familiar. Her eyes traveled along his clothes, seeing him turn just a bit to see the Uchiha Clan symbol. Her eyes met back up to REN’s face and she huffed. “Oh. It’s you.” She sucked in through her teeth, making a ‘Tch’ sound. Her eyes looked away, avoiding contact. “I should’ve known you were here especially when the weather is like this.” Her hand remained on her sword, watching him closely. She wasn’t able to predict anything but she did keep a close eye on him.

Ren was enthralled by the growing of the storm overhead, the small flashes of lightning up within the clouds followed by the low rolling of thunder. His eyes locked upon the sky above as he moved across the open area training grounds walking all the way across it to stand on the edge of the building, once there he finally tore his eyes away from the storm clouds and looked down to the village below it. The Grand Training Facility was one of the largest, if not the largest, of all the buildings in the village. From here he could see almost the entire village of course there was some areas that were harder to see, or obscured by a building, yet it was a beautiful sight to see. After a few moments he would step away from the edge and back towards the center of the training area, ready to get his training started. He had been so enthralled by the sight of the village from up here and the storm clouds above that he did not hear the elevator ding when it arrived and the doors opened, it wasn't until he heard a voice that he realized he wasn't alone anymore.

Had the voice belonged to anyone else, Ren might have actually been happy about that fact as it would have given him a sparring partner to train with. The person that this voice belonged to however did not bring Ren such joy, if fact it would be the complete opposite an immense burning hatred began to boil as soon as he heard her. The smile he had on his face just seconds before gone, now replaced by a frown as he turned to face Hanabi. He was about to say something, but stopped himself when he remembered what he had promised Airi. As much as his upbringing tried to tell him to just kill her so she couldn't sully the clan further, he would restrain himself with the fact that he did promise not to hurt her as well as Taco. Of course, in this moment he wished Taco was there instead of Hanabi. After a few seconds of looking the woman up and down, Ren would finally speak. "I've come here to train that is all, little mutt. You can go away now, unless you care for a repeat of the last time you faced a true Uchiha." As he spoke the words his three tomoe sharingan would activate as he stared at her, wondering if she was brave enough to face him again and at the same time wondering if he was strong enough to keep his promise to Airi and not actually hurt her this time. "I understand if you want to run away with your tail between your legs."

Hanabi raised an eyebrow, focusing on his face. The wind picked up, the breeze flowing through Hanabi’s hair, the small flashes and rumbling following behind each flash. “For a moment I thought I saw you smiling.” She closing her eyes, smirking, while putting her hair up into a pony tail. When she opened them, her Sharingan had activated, only revealing the first tomoe. “If we fight, I do not plan to fight you as an Inuzuka. My sharingan may have activated with hate but I am to claim the Uchiha name.” She drew her sword from her back, flipping it around before getting into a regular stance, her legs spread apart wide, almost offensive. Her left hand in front, slightly open and her right hand that held her sword, put back just a bit. Her eyes with a sharp glare, staring into REN’s eyes. “Though this fight will determine things. You will treat me as an equal and you will stop putting me down. I am no more of a mutt than you are.” Her voice jabbed at Ren, giving Hanabi a smirk. “My tail is raised high, I won’t flee with such a disgrace. After all, like I said. I plan to throw the Inuzuka name away and claim the Uchiha in me.” Hanabi pointed her sword at Ren. The winds picked up, almost replicating this fearsome battle that may take place. Lightning flash throughout the sky, the clouds moving faster, almost agitated throughout. They grew darker the more intense it got. Thunder continued to rumble, small drops of rain starting to fall down onto the ground. “That’s if you can beat me in this weather..” Assuming Ren relied on his Katon too much from their previous fight, she gave a grin to Ren, beginning her first move. Placing her sword in front of her and point it to one side, she mimicked the crescent of a moon, moving her arm counter clockwise to finish the shape. “Let’s do this..”


Standing at about 5m away, Hanabi ran towards Ren, perform a jutsu behind her back, an ember clone, slowly forming up, the legs running and the body forming slowly behind. This clone provided a distraction hopefully from the real hanabi, mimicking everything on her body. Hanabi herself used this time while the clone got in front of her, blocking hanabi from REN’s sight, to perform a separate ninjutsu, her hands covered completely while the clone performed on of hers. At the same time, Hanabi grew wings among her back, made of flames, allowing her to hover a little bit if she were to jump. This gave her a boost in speed. The clone however, performed a serpent snake, the same thing that ren had used against hanabi in their first fight. Both hanabi and the clone used their attacks, the clone jumping out of the way, allowing hanabi to dart forward to Ren at B+ speeds with these wings. When she lifted off, she placed her sword in her mouth, and grabbed the other two into her hands, getting into her newly found stance. With the sword in her mouth, muttered a few things as much as she could and darted off, leaving almost a small imprint in the ground. The clone following shortly behind, the clone used this moment to flank Ren as much as she could. Using this time, the clone delayed their ninjutsu speed on purpose, going at a C rank coordination. This allowed Hanabi to execute her next attack, The Wild Hunt. She got low to the ground, almost sliding as she got closer to Ren, slashing at his ankles, lowering his speed even more. She propped back up and let go of her wings, them fading into embers slowly. The rain began to pour just as the clone let off her jutsu, firing 16 fireballs towards Ren. “You will see me as an equal!” The clone said on behalf of the real Hanabi. This was her chance to prove Ren was wrong about her.

Jutsu’s Used:

A smirk would form on Ren’s face as in the fraction of a second that Hanabi would close her eyes to pull up her hair he would form two hand seals, the first the Serpent the would create two Spark clones of Ren standing directly in front of each other. The first clone hiding the second and the second hiding himself, the second hand seal would be the tiger. The true Ren beginning to sinking into the shadow of the second clone before Hanabi had even opened her eyes, though he wouldn’t see Hanabi’s Sharingan as she opened her eyes he would hear the words she said about having activated it and and this would start his blood boiling. The two clones would not move from how they were, the first clone still hiding the second with an imitation of the Sharingan in it’s eye to mimic his appearance perfectly. Though her eyes would not be advanced enough to she the difference in clones and the real thing like he could, he did not know that and thought his truck would be over before it began. However, to his surprise she continued a long winded speech to the clone as if she thought the clone was him, unaware that the true Ren was hiding in the shadows.

After her speech Hanabi would make the second mistake she had made this fight, and the Ren clone would take advantage of it to teach her a lesson. Matching Ren’s own coordination the clone would be able to form a quick hand seal faster than Hanabi’s eyes would be able to keep up with in thrust his hand out as if imitating her with her sword, in that fraction of a second a small discharge of electricity would fly from the clones hands at a speed of fifteen meters per second covering the five meters between the two in a third of a second. Normally the jutsu had no real use in combat considering how weak it was, but considering she provided him with the perfect conductor in her sword it might provide an additional shock to her. As soon as the burst was released the two clones would take off in separate directions with the true Ren in the shadows of the second one, they would each run in a arc from where they had been until they were approximately 15 meters away from her on each side. “You will see that I have grown far stronger than I was before, you have no chance give up now before you get hurt.” Though the words were how Ren felt, it would be the clone that had attacked her that spoke, continuing the charade that it was Ren. He was giving her a chance to walk away before she got hurt, before he broke the promise he made to Airi. Fighting every urge in his blood to just destroy the woman that threatened to drag his clan name through the mud, of course if it had not been for his promise to Airi the clone could have used a much stronger electrical attack and it wouldn’t currently be offering her a chance to walk away. In Ren’s mind that in itself was an improvement, and showed him that he didn’t have to be what his father wanted him to be. Yet, he could not shake this hatred he felt towards the woman in front of him.

Hanabi’s eyes glanced to Ren, seeing as tho he might have been getting closer. She kept her swords at a ready stance, shifting her body to the side just to see a slight movement from behind. This made Hanabi question what it may have been. Did he do something to hide? Did he play a genjutsu on her? Unknowing of what this could’ve been, she made a bird sign, having Wings sprouted from her back in a magnificent form, replicating a Phoenix’s wings. The wings fluttered and small amber particles fell off the wings, like sparkling dust. Just after the clones shot their attacks, Hanabi darted behind her, getting out of its range and moving to the left side, all at B speeds (45m/s). “Pathetic. You can’t just fight me on your own and so you use your PATHETIC clones to do your dirty work. Why not finish the job that your dad did.” Lightning struck down, almost as if it were a sign, thunder crashing around like broken glass. The winds had picked up and her anger grew more, her sharingan glowing in the distance. Using this time that she had used to pull back, she would carry out two Jutsu’s. One to produce flames out of her mouth, conjuring up an Ember Wolf, running out of the flames and coming by Hanabi’s side.

“Omega Wolf, this is your time!” She said aloud. Before making her omega wolf, she produced an Ember clone in front of her, having the clone make some signs but not actually produce anything, almost like a fake out. Hanabi behind however, produced a second strand of seals, an ember wolf suddenly forming around and above Hanabi, flames going everywhere, the snout coming out first and forming into a larger wolf that shared the same progression of the sharingan as Hanabi. This large wolf aura stayed by Hanabi’s side, no more than 5m away as well as the smaller wolf. If anybody came within 5m, the large wolf would attack only one person due to the three REN’s that were available. This was a perfect defensive maneuver that Hanabi had created. She wanted to make sure that she would be protected on some side that she could not pay attention to. The ember clone took another side of Hanabi, four directions covered from four individuals. This should be an equal fight.. Hanabi clenched her swords holster and gulped, terrified maybe she wouldn’t win.. Whether win or loss, she would still claim the name and their customs. She was tired of always looking up to people, not to people. Hanabi sighed and prepared herself once again for any possible attack.

System Alert: Hanabi made her wings before the jutsu really popped off and as it did, she moved back 45 meters in a second and moved that same speed to the left in two seconds. This makes her far enough to NOT get hit. She then makes an ember wolf and then a ember clone in front of her, just as Ren did to hide her third jutsu from Ren himself, unaware of where he went. The wolf grows larger and is now at the side of Hanabi, protecting her within a 5 m radius, attacking one person that comes close. In short, Hanabi out sped both the clones and the jutsu by dodging back and to the side, leaving additional space between them.

Hanabi would manage to dodge the first clone's attack by moving backwards, the first clone would follow at first however the difference in speed put a greater distance from each other and the clone would end its pursuit and move back ensuring that there was a distance between it and the two Hanabi's and wolves of 80 meters. The second clone would remain where it was approximately 25 meters away from the first clone that had advanced forward but would actually be closer to the cluster Hanabi had created than the first clone due to how she had moved away, with the second clone only 55 meters away from the cluster. The True Ren would remain in the shadow of the second clone, unknown to Hanabi but watching the events unfold before him. This was not the way he expected things to go, of course he had been doing his best to avoid Hanabi so that this rage that was filling inside him did not rear its head. He had told himself that he was over this anger towards the woman, but the minute he had seen her it returned to him and her words would just add fuel to that fire.

The First Clone taking on a defensive posture as the second clone began to weave a string of three hand seals, releasing a burst of Raiton from his fingers as four bolts of lightning would shoot out with each bolt of lightning aimed for a separate target. Of course, the bolts would be moving at 15 meters per second so closing the 55 meter distance would take nearly four seconds, so it was unlikely that they would hit, but it would be obvious to Hanabi if she was paying attention that Ren was holding back or at the very least not attacking her with everything he had, like the last time that they had met. Even the fact that he did not make a retort to her comment was extremely out of character for him, but the internal conflict within himself seemed to have most of his concentration.

Hanabi raised a brow seeing as what Ren would be doing would confused her. It’s almost like he didn’t want to fight in general. Seeing his clone take on a defensive posture and exerting a lightning attack, Hanabi clenched her fist and began walking towards the clone, still unaware of where the actual Ren was. Her sharingan was not high enough to see him so she was still weary. Walking forward, she took the impact of the Raiton attack, her shoulder burning and singing as it got pushed back from the damage, Hanabi still walking towards him. With her wolves fading into embers, she gritted her teeth, now at 45 meter from him. Her hand stayed sturdy on the hilt of her sword, anger festering within her eyes. “Do you not have anger towards the person you have hated for 20 years?” She asked, her eyes low to the ground, if any hits to be thrown, she would take. “Are you not wanting to show that I am worthless? A coward? That I should be thrown aside and exiled?!” She called out, now coming as near as 20 meters. Now beginning to speed walk, her distance began to close by 2 meters per second, her teeth grinding against each other, her eyes bright red.

Now stopping at a 8 meters mark, she looked Ren in the eyes and yelled. “Why do you choose to fight so weak!” Her voice belted out, thunder crackling along the sky, echoing into the distance. “WHY!” Her sharingan faded away, with some tears forming on her waterline. This was not how she imagined the fight to be played out. If it was how Ren wanted though, she would have no choice but to respect his wish. Pulled her sword from her back, she swung it a few times in a fashionly manor, the swords final placement landing by her side before leaping at C+ speed. Hanabi brought her sword from her side, scratching the blade against the earth and bringing it upward. Her sword sliced through the clone, making it hit behind him (pushing through the clone/phasing through and swinging up), swinging upward. “I don’t need a sharingan to beat you.. I just wish you would be honest in our fight.” Her eyes avoided Ren, if this attack were to hit, not knowing if Ren may have been there or not. “My decision remains. My name is and will be Hanabi Uchiha… You will respect me as an equal..”

OoC: Hanabi basically said f your attacks, they ain’t doin shit and walked into them (assuming if you were to do more). As she walked towards the second clone, the regular ember wolf would have attacked the closest clone that was there (first one). Once she got close enough, she leaned forward at full speed and lunged her sword into RENs SECOND clone (she thinks it’s the one that Ren actually is in). Due to it being a clone, I can only imagine that it would phase through and explode due to the physical damage. As she lunges her sword into the clone (from an upward strike mind you), the sword would maybe? Hit the real Ren? Not sure how it would go but if it doesn’t work like that, she would have at least hit the clone. The omega wolf would have attacked as well, whatever was left of the clone or the real Ren if he were to appear after. You can use this moment to have Ren obtain his scar and we continue the fight or we can wait until after.

Ren would watch in shock as Hanabi would make no move to dodge the attack, likely thinking that this attack was as weak as the first however that would not be the case. The lightning would strike her, the clone, and the wolves all at once. The clone and the wolves dispersing as Hanabi pushed herself through the lightning strike to move towards the clone, surprise that she was able to take the hit like that and still be moving. The attack wasn't supposed to hurt her, but that was because he expected her to dodge it. As Hanabi moved towards the clone that had attacked her, the real Ren would move through the shadows of the overcast cloudy sky towards his other clone though his eyes would remain watching Hanabi as she approached the closer clone. Her words would echo in his mind and all he could hear was his father's voice echoing back, but he would say nothing as she slashed the clone and exploded into sparks that would shock her and keep her stunned for a time unable to move. Ren would use this time now to come out of the shadow 10 meters away from where Hanabi was now standing paralyzed, his first clone behind him dispersing and returning what chakra it had left to him. There would be no smile on his face like last time they had fought, though his eyes still burned through her with hatred his face remained emotionless as he looked at her. Before there would have been no hesitation from him, her in this position he could easily hit her with a multitude of techniques that would make his father proud of his genjutsu-less son. That wasn't who he wanted to be anymore, not since he met Airi.

"You want honesty do you, little mutt?" he would say as he walk around in front of her to look her in the eyes, maintaining his distance of 10 meters from her just in case she was able to break the hold of the paralysis. "Every fiber of my being tells me to hate you, because that is what my father taught me. From since I could remember he has told me that only the Pure Uchiha are worthy of anything more than death, that we were the only ones that mattered. That your father betrayed our clan with your mother, that you shouldn't exist. That was what I was told my entire life growing up, and until recently that is what I believed. I recently met someone that I believe you know, Airi." Ren would pause as he looked into her eyes to see her reaction to his words, "She's not an Uchiha and yet she is dear to me, there is nothing I would not do for her. I made her a promise that I would not hurt her teammates and it is the only reason why I am not trying to kill you right now like my father would want me to do. Yet, every time I hear you say that you are an Uchiha that anger within me grows and grows," Ren would stop talking and begin walking around towards Hanabi's left moving 5 meters away from her. "So tell me, Mutt. what should I do? Should I honor my father and do what he would want me to do, or should I keep my promise to the woman I care for and wish for a future with, hmm? What would you do?"

Upon the attack of the clone, Hanabi was struck with what sparks flew from the clone, paralyzing her temporarily. Her eyes moved around, unable to turn her head, seeing the real Ren come into her view and spew these things about his childhood. About how he was conditioned to hate her due to how his father raised him. “Yet you took her in and left me to rot!” She replied with his statement. When Ren brought Airi’s name name up, her eyes softened, looking at him, worried as to what he may have told her and what they have done. Hearing him say That he thought of Airi as a dear friend, her eyes kept following his movement as much as they could, her fingers slowly regaining mobility. They would twitch here and there but she would slowly try and progress the effects wear off. Ren would ask what he should do, as to obey his father or Airi. Her eyes looked down, unable to really process what this was going after. Airi was an amazing person and to have someone like Ren obey her meant she had some power of him. Though the respect towards family, she could not understand. She didn’t understand familial trials, let alone seeing blood as family. She thought blood was never thicker than water, always able to choose who she sought out as family. Hanabi exhaled, closing her eyes for a split second and reopening them, avoiding contact. “I have no say just because I have no respect for my mother. My only family that I did respect was my dad.. Though if I was against a decision he made, I would fight against it. At the same time, if I knew one option was better, I would take that.”


Her eyes slowly began looking up, meeting with REN’s eyes. “Be your own person. If that means taking the initiative to kill me or to hurt me, I will accept that as it is your own decision. However if I had to choose, i would rather betray my father than Airi.. Airi has shown nothing but support for me and I too have responded the same.” The thought of Airi getting hurt made her feel angry, causing her body to start freeing up a little bit more. “If I ever find out that you hurt her… I will not hold back on you. Airi is a sweet and caring person and if you were to ever disrespect her, I will hunt you down and make you pay for it…” Her voice became strained every now and then as she started breaking out of the paralysis, her arms slowly starting to move, her muscles and back tensing up and soon her sword falling into the ground. “Do not underestimate me..” A burning rage in her heart, a want to protect someone dear to her brewed vigorously. “My answer still remains the same… As long as it is under your own conscious, I will accept it, even if it means going against Airi’s promise.. I will keep this our secret if it means to settle our score once and for all.” Guaranteed there was not much of a score, Hanabi wanted to be done and over with on this petty little rivalry.

Ren would actually let out a laugh at Hanabi's words, "If you think that I would ever do something that would hurt Airi, then you are more of a fool than I thought. That is exactly why I am in this current dilemma that I find myself. Airi doesn't want me hurting her teammates, if we fight then you will get hurt and hurting you would be hurting Airi. I am stronger than you, I am faster than you. Hell, I am just plain better than you in every way, and it's not just because your father was a pathetic excuse of a man. He was a coward and a failure, but that's not the worst of it. The fact is you could never beat me, because you are weak. You say you are an Uchiha, yet I do not see an Uchiha when I look at you. All I see is a pathetic, weak little mutt." Ren would look straight into Hanabi's eyes as he spoke moving closer to her until she was just an arm's reach away from him, but as he finish his speech Ren would turn his face away from her as his Sharingan deactivated. He would look her back in the eyes with his normal eyes, "you are not worthy of me defeating you. You are too weak to be viewed as a threat, and you are not worthy of the name Uchiha." With those words Ren would glare at her for one more moment before turning to walk away. He was done with this fight, as he did not care to fight someone that he viewed less than himself. It was time that he moved past this childhood squabble and on to more important matters in his mind, at least until the day that she proved herself worthy of providing him a challenge. Hanabi’s eyes wavered side to side, hearing Ren talk about Airi in such a manner. She was worried for Airi and didn’t want her risking getting hurt. He was right and she was foolish to even try and get him to hurt herself intentionally. Her eyes widened as he began talking about Hanabi herself, her teeth clenching just enough, hearing that Ren was better in every way. Stronger, faster. Her heart began beating faster, feeling as if it were going to jump out of her chest. He was right.. She wasn’t stronger. She was the weakest out of everyone, including her teammates, even Ren. Her eyes watered a bit, getting infuriated and upset. Her head slowly began to fall, closing her eyes and getting ready to sacrifice everything. When Ren got to her father, hearing him talk about her father being a coward and how he wasn’t a good Uchiha, her fingers began to twitch and her head slowly rose back up, a lifeless expression across her face yet tears streamed down her cheeks. At this point, their eyes would meet but almost as if a red glare formed in the center of her eyes, fueled by the rage he induced into Hanabi. When Ren looked away, she took this time to grab her sword from her thigh, timing it properly to when he looked back, her sword went across his chest, almost hitting his throat, leaving a scar. 




Her eyes showed nothing, no remorse and no feelings. “Don’t. Talk. About my father like that.” Assuming if he took a step back or fell back, she would get closer to him, each step in front of the other, her eyes never blinking. Her hair pushed down by the amount of rain coming down now, completely soaked. “You can tell that to me when your father teaches his kids to not think of themselves so highly because all he ever knew was to protect himself through his small little ego just. Like. You.” Stopped after a bit, she backed herself up, keeping eye contact, picking her sword up from the ground and turning around to exit the training grounds. When making it to the elevator, she closed the doors and took a moment to exhale, her shine coming back and her back sliding against the elevator wall, going into a sit. She hugged her legs and began to sob softly, getting her emotions out before hitting the ground floor and walking herself home, completely drenched.

Ren had faltered, he was a fool for taking his eyes off of Hanabi while standing so close to her. He had thought the paralysis would have lasted longer, and that was his mistake. In that brief lapse of judgment, Hanabi was able to strike Ren across the chest with one of her other swords. His Kisode would be no match for the blade as it sliced through it as well as his shitagi, he would step back as he placed a hand to where she had hit. He was already bleeding, the cut wouldn't be deep enough to hurt him or send him to the hospital, but it would be enough that he would likely have a small scar from it. He wouldn't wait for the elevator to return, choosing instead to use the supernatural walking practice to walk down the back of the building and return home to bandage the cut. The fact that she had managed to strike him as she had done was impressive, even if it was because he had lowered his guard. Perhaps he was wrong about her and the blood of the Uchiha flowed strongly through her veins.
