"Understood Lady Hokage." Nakaba would smile quietly to himself. He hadn't meant to give away that puppet originally, but he got very caught up in the moment. He looked a little intimidated at all of the stuff he had to carry back. "Would you mind-" The Jonin he was going to ask the question to raised an eyebrow at him. "You know what nevermind. I've got it."

Exit into Konoha

"Now remember, no attempting to fight all of Konoha. I'm angry too, but acting on that anger will only make things worse." Irene would look to the forgemaster, taking a second before giving a small nod. It was the best Titania would receive for the time being. The journey to Konohagakure had been fairly silent, only speaking in preparation for today.

When it was their turn to talk at the entrance, Titania would step forward, bowing before speaking. "Hello, I am Titania Leveilleur, forgemaster and current head of Iwatomics Incorporated. My companion here is-" She'd be interrupted by her silver-skinned companion, glaring daggers into the guard but keeping a steady voice. "Prototype Warmachina Irene Moneta, guardian of Ms Leveilleur. We are here to retrieve the body of Moneta after Ren Uchiha took her shortly after her death. Our intent is to travel to Todoroki Shrine on O'uzu Island and give her a proper funeral there." Titania cringed a little, but overall maintained composure. It was probably the best she was going to get from Irene given the circumstances.

"...yes, that. Given the history between our two nations, we are willing to wait to talk with the Hokage about this request, and if need be escorted by Konoha Shinobi to the shrine in case she is revealed to be alive." Given what Titania had seen Diana do over the years, it wasn't out of the question that she could do such a thing, but she had no solid proof that she could do it in the first place. Besides they first had to get Diana's body in the first place.

Mission:

Nakaba had been doing guard duty under the watchful eye of a Chunin. It wasn't really any different than it had been in Iwagakure. They had some slightly different SOPs, but it was nothing that a title studying couldn't catch him up on. It was easy enough to get used to working guard duty. No one really wanted to get in an argument with gate guards, so the morning just kinda flew on by. He'd stay long past his shift working the whole day to make a decent impression. Each person who checked in was met with a "How do you do", then a "Anything to declare", the Chunin would check out a bag or wagon, and then Nakaba would send them off with a "I hope your sales are good", "Best of Luck", or "Enjoy your stay". He was only half listening as people introduced themselves. Writing down names and reasons for travel. He would repeat his script and move on to the next person, full of his normal cheer, but just a little manufactured.

Idly writing down information he'd enter into the books: Titania Leveilleur and I-. Nakaba's head would snap up from the book. "The Titania Leveilleur?!" He was completely floored. He was so certain that all most of the people in Iwa at the time had been killed just like in his home town. tears would well up in his eyes. He didn't know these two, only knowing of them by reputation from their work in Iwatomics. Genuine heartache and joy rushed through his system none the less. "Lady Leveilleur. Lady Moneta. You do not know me, but I would be honored if you would allow me to escort you to Lady Hokage's office." Nakaba got a cold shiver from a premonition. He remembered the look that Lady Hokage got when he last heard her talk of justice. He would nod to the Chunin who was already finishing up his paperwork for him since he'd been here already for some time. Motioning for the two to follow him, he'd start towards the Kage's office if they followed. "The Hokage seems to be a good woman, but her views are stark and harsh. I would speak with a tempered tongue."

Titania flinched a little at the surprise coming from the shinobi before them. Neither of them in fact knew who this genin was, but given they recognized her name; there was a good chance they were from Iwagakure in some form. While Titania would fluster a little, Irene held her left fist tightly, not wanting to ruin their chances at recovering her creator's body just because she wanted to blow the head off of the traitor with a single punch. Fortunately for all three of them, it seemed the Hokage was also out here today.

Titania would give a bow of respect after Airi asked her question. "Greeting Kyudaime Hokage, I am Titania Leveilleur, and this is Irene Moneta. I understand that this is a big request, but we're here to request the body of the deceased Tsuchikage Diana Moneta back in order to fulfill her religious wishes; that of a funeral at Todoroki Shrine."

As Titania talked, Irene would just stare at the Hokage, unblinking with a mix of emotions hiding behind her eyes. She didn't know what to make of the Hyuuga still, not after being told about those who contributed to the creation of the Warmachina; knowingly or not. She didn't know how much the Hokage knew about her clan's contribution to the origin of the Warmachina, but given what happened to their Clan leader...why was it this barbaric village that survived while Iwa didn't? Too many questions she did not have answers to.

Unaware of Irene's thoughts, Titania continued on. "We were also here hoping to check and see what funds would be sent to Iwagakure in order to assist in repairs after the Uchiha took our treasury, but given the state of the gate I'm assuming that is very low on the list of your worries."

Almost as if he were cut, Irene's clenched fist and simply being ignored would make the genin flinch. Regardless of the answer it wasn't unreasonable simply to make the request. Unable to make heads or tails of it in the moment, Nakaba would push the thoughts to the back of his mind for now. Giving a simple bow as Lady Hokage arrived, he would give a discerning glance to Irene. What a tepid response, he'd think to himself as he pondered Irene, frustrated. "Lady Hokage, I mean no ill will. Perhaps less would've been better." The stark blow of meeting your hero's has felled many egos. Something visibly shifted in Nakaba from his initial interaction with the duo that he anticipated... something different than this from. Despite the great effort they put in for the land of Earth they seemed a little hard to approach, and though it didn't occur to him consciously, Nakaba was kind of hoping that he'd be recognized.

Obviously not needed here any longer, Nakaba would continue if an appropriate moment arose, "Lady Hokage, if I may be dismissed." Before this moment Nakaba had never once considered himself a traitor to Iwagakure. Already a foreign ninja that joined their forces to satisfy any feelings of debt he had, Nakaba sought to right any indirect harm he had indirectly caused to the people of the Tsuchi no Kuni. Purely from the juxtaposition he felt in the moment more welcome in Konoha than he had in Iwa, and it was this feeling that made him feel like he'd abandoned the Land of Earth. Nakaba wait until he was excused then vanish away into the village to gather his thoughts.

Irene would keep her eyes on the Kage like a hawk as Nakaba left, both ladies making note of the bewilderment Airi had on her face. They had expected to see several possible faces, but not that one. As Airi walked towards them, Irene would take a slow step in front of Titania, arm outstretched to cover the blonde as she looked directly into those pale eyes of the Kage. The Warmachina would not take a combat stance however, she was just making it clear that she was going to protect her ward Titania should things come to blows; even if the outcome of such a fight was obvious to everyone present.

As The Hokage finished speaking (much to close to comfort for either of them), both women would be silent as they processed this new information. They both knew the rumors; Diana stealing information from Konoha, but they had no reason to believe it. There was always rumors surrounding her given she hadn't been a part of the Shinobi ranking system before she became Kage, or the fact she didn't seek out revenge regarding Konoha, or even the fact she wished to be the last of the Tsuchikage. While many saw her as an inspiration, just as many saw her as an optimistic fool.

Titania would be the first to speak as Irene kept her face as expressionless as possible, though Irene's eyes didn't hide she thought Airi was spouting bullshit. "Then I will catch you up on recent events. Iwagakure was attacked by Raijin two months ago. Ren Uchiha arrived about the same time and assisted in defending the village long enough for Diana to step in due to being in the hospital as she had caught the plague. However the fight took too much of a toll on her body." Titania paused, and Irene would speak up, her voice mostly monotone but a hint of anger and sadness was there. "She died of a heart attack once Raijin had left and the battle was finished."

Recomposing herself, Titania would continue. "After that the Uchiha threatened me and Irene with those floating black orbs whenever we attempted to go near her body. He forced me, a civilian to surrender for all of Iwagakure, and then he took both her body and the Treasured Tools Irene had been carrying before moving onto the vault, of which the money was removed."

"To quote him verbatim: 'I am going to have to take the body back with me, as proof of her death.' He took her, so logically her body would end up in Konoha. The only reason we hadn't come sooner was because we had to clean up the damage left behind by the attack." While she didn't break eye contact, Irene's monotone was a little less confrontational now as something occurred to her. Airi was the one who originally put the hit on Diana, but it was Tengoku who Ren mentioned, not Airi. Why would the other Hokage not mention the death of the person she had a bounty on? Something wasn't adding up, and while she didn't trust the redhead, she had accepted the traitor, and the barbarians she knew of from her research would have originally just slaughtered him.

Irene raised an eyebrow as Airi recoiled, having expected a reaction from the Kage, but not of that nature. As the Hokage knelt and placed the seal; Irene's skin would shift a shade more silver, but upon Airi explaining what the seal was for, it would return to its less silvery (but still decently grey) hue.

Both foreign women stood in the truth seal, Titania sighing after the explanation of both techniques were relayed to them. "This would be so much easier if we had her eyes, alas..." Irene would interrupt, turning her head to Titania but still not breaking eye contact. "No dwelling on the could, focus on the should." The proto-warmachina would face Airi again. "Seeing as we are to speak the truth again, I hope you are telling the truth about this Seal and dojutsu technique; my faith is in rather short supply."

Steeling herself, Titania would look into the Hokage's eyes, her tone as if she were addressing those of Iwatomics so as to make her words clear. "About two months ago, Bayushi Sojima, better known as the Missing-Nin Raijin attacked the village of Iwagakure alongside unknown saboteurs. Shortly after the attack began, the Konohagakure Shinobi who declared himself as Ren Uchiha appeared and began to fight the Golem Raijin had produced, something that under no normal circumstances he should have known. Eventually Tsuchikage Diana Moneta appeared on the battlefield, her late appearance believed to be due to her hospitalization from the plague for the...Irene do you..? "Fifth time if her medical records are correct." "For the fifth time in her life. Before fleeing through unknown means we believe to be space-time ninjutsu, Raijin unleashed a massive attack comparable to a Bijuu attack of which Ren Uchiha deflected, giving the Tsuchikage enough time to absorb the attack.

"Once the attack was over and Raijin gone, Ren Uchiha began to deliver a surrender speech to the Tsuchikage, but sometime between absorbing the attack and us arriving to her body she had perished from a heart attack. Titania would tilt her head down a little, not hiding some of her frustration and sadness for the events to come. "Ren Uchiha would not let Irene pick up Diana's body as he put two of those black orbs in front of us. He, no. Irene, you have better memory then I from this, please repeat what he said." "Gladly. 'I am going to have to take the body back with me, as proof of her death. However, while I'm here , let us not wait for an army or war to form. Surrender now, accept Konoha's protection and rule, hand over the village's artifacts and other treasures so that I can take them for safe keeping where they are better secured. Your people have no leader, and you can't hope to protect the villager's let alone valuable treasure if Raijin returns and finishes what he started. We can spare everyone a lot of time and bloodshed, if you simply submit now. Of course if you don't, you won't be around to see the days that follow this one.'"

"Given his threats, I declared Iwagakure's surrender, as while I am a civilian I am...was...hopefully still am a respected member of the village. Irene disarmed herself of the Sage's Heavenly tools that she was carrying at the time, and then Ren Uchicha took both the Tsuchikage's body and the tools before using what we believe to be a space-time ninjutsu originating from his sharingan to teleport away. I had offered to take him to the vault for the other treasures before he dissapeared, but he said it would not be necessary. Since then, Iwagakure has been without it's artifacts nor the ryo that used to be inside of the Iwagakure Vault and we had been occupied with cleaning up and doing what we can to recover after the attack until now."

Finishing her tale, Titania would catch her breath as Irene spoke again, the proto-warmachina having relaxed her guard for the time being. Not a single word they spoke was a lie. "So Hokage, is that truthful enough for you, or would you like to take a personal peek of the memories yourself?" She'd lean forwards with a smile, offering her head to the Hokage as she continued to look directly into those eyes of hers. While she was well aware that Diana's memory extraction came from her dojutsu, she wasn't stupid enough to assume that there weren't other, non-bloodline related techniques that could do something similar. Diana had even mentioned one in passing when explaining her dojutsu, but she couldn't recall what exactly it did.

Irene would put up her hands in mock defense at the unintended insinuation of Airi's dojutsu. "Never meant to imply that they could Hokage, Just checking to see how far you're willing to go in order to search for the truth, and I am not sure about the results you have given me." Indeed, she seemed to be mulling on this, hand lowered to a thinking position as she thought about Airi's reactions to all of this.

"Tempted as I am to ask a great many questions, I have no real need to ask any of them as lying is in neither of our best interests. We want Diana's body to put her soul to rest, and you presumably want confirmation that she actually is dead." She'd falter a little. "Unfortunately the only leads we had were you as Hokage and Ren Uchiha, but given our last encounter with him...well It may be best that you speak to him instead of us." Even if she was being cordial, the memories were still fresh in her mind, how close she was to possible death...

Irene would lower her hands back to a normal position. "In the meantime I would like to request lodging with Cerise Hyuga, if she is still in the village that is. I am sure that she would be thrilled to at minimum meet me if Diana's stories about their work on puppets are true. While Titania here will probably head back home since she has a kid to take care of, I can help provide manual labor in exchange for lodging." She'd make a gesture to the rubble.

"You really want to do this Irene?" "No, but for Diana's sake I will suck up my pride, just this once."

A black void would open up in front of the group near the tail end of the conversation, out of which Arisu would appear. She wore a simple white kimono, the Demon Bell Artifact as an earring, and was well known as a Princess of Kirigakure. First glances told a story, the gates had been reduced to rubble. Furrowing her brows, Arisu took a step back, folding her hands behind her back, allowing Airi to finish up her conversation without interruption.

Arisu had been courteous enough to not teleport directly into Konoha, especially uninvited. Had this damage been delivered by a Bijuu like Kirigakure had faced? She scanned around, but it didn't appear consistent with the same type of damage. If anything, it looked like everything had been pulled into one area.

She knew of one ability that would allow such an action. In fact, she was a user of that very ability. Had they fought an Otsutsuki? Was this the beginning of the invasion she'd been warned about? Arisu's eyes scanned around more intently as she waited. Her third eye blinked open as she scanned, her Rinnegan activating. Judging by the lax enough conversation, tense though it may be, there was no imminent threat still lurking, but now she had reason to be more on guard.

Arisu looked towards Airi with clear concern.

Titania would lean down and take the arrow, noting it's craftmanship. Titanium was always a solid metal, even if other metals worked better for arrows in the forgemaster's opinion. Irene would eye the arrow warily for but a moment, the seal sounding familiar but knowing not much on the seal itself. As Airi kept going on it was clear to Irene she wasn't going to meet her relative today, maybe ever. At the very least they had answers to some of their questions, even if now they had to trust someone who up until this point was an enemy.

"...Wisdom was never my strong suit, but if it is the Hokage's opinion that I would be unsafe staying in Konoha; then it would be best if we turn down your generous offer to stay the night and both get going now."

Irene's train of thought was stopped by the appearance of the gate; Titania and Irene both becoming on guard from it This was the second time-space-technique they had seen directly and the last hadn't bode well. Thankfully the person who stepped out wasn't an Uchiha, but instead one of the former leaders of Kiri. Seems that their timing could not be better.

"It seems that even if we wished to to continue talking, fate has decided otherwise. We are grateful that you have given us the time and day to address our concerns, and we hope to hear good tidings next we meet." "Indeed. May the Sage guide you to the truth." Both giving a bow, the two women would turn and begin their trip back home for their next encounter: that of Sunagakure

Here for the other one that died during the Bijuu attack? Well that immediately told her some amount of information. Confirmed a Bijuu attack happened here, and that there was an Otsutsuki who was responsible for this damage. The only one that could be based on the gravitational devastation that happened here would have been Seid, who was renowned for that technique. "Seid is dead?" she asked, somewhat surprised. Someone like him should have had no issues against a Bijuu. Any of them.

Arisu nodded at her introduction, offering a half bow. It seems her reputation preceded her. "I am Arisu, yes. Apologies for coming unannounced, but it was somewhat urgent. It's a pleasure to meet you Lady Hokage." She scanned around the wreckage pointedly. "I had come to offer aid should it be needed. It appears I'm a little late. We had our own attack with the 2 Tails, and it appears seals are being disrupted. Jinchuuriki have been unable to make use of their Bijuu without weakening seals, and Bijuu even broke out of containment."

Looking towards Airi, Arisu fidgeted her hands. An Otsutsuki had died. Of any of them, Seid was the one she had thought would end up being her biggest rival or ally. And he had died just like that. "Might you take me to Seid's body? I would like to take it with me." she asked. If he was dead, she needed to confirm what had happened to his Rinnegan, and potentially acquire the body for purposes of another Path of Pain. His death was troublesome for a number of reasons. She could also bring him back to life, but either way, she wanted to get his body out of Konoha's custody.

Yui Chinoike. Arisu had heard that name before, but she couldn't remember exactly when she'd first heard it. It had been years, though. All she knew was that she was from Kumogakure. Her and Seid traveling together wasn't very unusual then. What she did know was that Kumogakure had been heavily into a Jashinist state, and she'd heard the association of Chinoike and Jashin being tied together. If Yui and Seid were married, then it was likely that Seid wasn't as good as appearances stated.

She frowned at the mention of Yui being alive. "That may not be for the best. I had heard she had associations with Jashinism. Keep an eye on that one." It was well known that Kumogakure had legalized Jashinism and that it had taken a large portion of their religious authority. It hadn't been kept quiet, and in fact was largely public knowledge. Shimiko Chinoike, and by extension her adopted children Yui and Yua, had been very public faces of the Orthodoxy.

"Very swiftly, yes." Arisu confirmed. Very interesting. So the 7 tails was a threat, but nothing that Konoha couldn't handle single-handedly. Arisu remembered Tengoku. He had grown quite strong indeed, if he was able to easily best a Bijuu.

She recoiled slightly at the thought of him being disintegrated. Still, that was likely good. If he was dealt with like that, then she didn't need to worry about anyone getting his eyes. She would still want to search just in case though.

"Thank you for allowing my passage and my search. I shall aid in the recovery of any living souls and other bodies I find in the process." Arisu said. She shifted into her Six Paths Sage Mode form, her horns both elongating, curving backwards along the top of her head and then curling upward. Black spread across the top of her head and to the bottoms of her horns. Under her Kimono, barely visible around her neck, the same black coloring spread across her torso. Her sensory, Rinnesharingan, and Rinnegan vision are all vastly enhanced by the Sage Mode.

Beginning to move forward, Arisu stepped before Airi paused and asked a further question. Ren Uchiha. "I couldn't say for sure. I haven't personally encountered him, but that doesn't mean he didn't arrive. Would you like me to send you to Kirigakure?" she offered, ready to open a portal back to Kiri if she asked.

Everything around her was crisp and she could sense almost anything she wanted. If she couldn't find anything of Seid, she'd know that there was nothing to find. From there, she'd have only one thing to worry about doing, but that would have to wait.

Burittsu made it through swiftly and in mere seconds transporting himself from one realm to another the current Mizukage was now in front of the gates of the leaf. His crimson armor shining underneath the sun yet something was interesting: the Red Hair Airi was at the gates the women Blitz had encountered. Arisu herself seemed to be at the village beating Burittsu to the punch but everyone was accustomed to moving around these days. Waving a little Burittsu made it clear from the start what his motives were upon the village. Now seeing that Arisu was there it made a perfectly fine tune for him to begin his own journey and start fresh. Yet speaking loud enough he wasn’t sure how much she knew of the current situations of the world but yet the battle of large chakra beasts seemed a thing of the past. Hearing the two of them talk for a little bit before mentioning Ren Uchiha. Burittsu could only smirk before attempting to catch her attention.

“Red Hair Airi. Konoha should be happy to have you in their arms. I only came here today to see my comrade Zenaku Uchiha. May I please see if he is alright? Also the two messengers that you sent to report of this Raijin returning. Thank you for sending your strongest warriors.”

Burittsu didn’t care how long it took the Uchihas to come out of the technique behind him yet the sight of Arisu was enough for Burittsu to understand what he should do next. With both of them as his witness on this day it was enough for him to move on from this pipe dream and return to how things needed to be. Putting a leash on himself was enough but to be found comfortable in that sort of lifestyle was beneath him. Fighting indeed was his only option in this life regardless of who took control. The fight would continue just from two different points of view he wondered how it would sound yet the more honest he was the easier it would get.

“Arisu I protected the village she loved. Even if she isn’t around anymore her village stands, I Burittsu Yuki return the seat back to you. Stepping down from Mizukage will be tough but I did what I could for the village and its people. I'll be keeping her headband like always.”

Burittsu couldn’t seem to contain his excitement as he chuckled a bit before hearing the reply from the women who seemed more than capable of sitting in the seat and holding its power. With his crimson armor shining under the sun and his ten golden rings five upon each hand his blue hair and brown skin enjoyed the weather.

"Thank you for allowing me passage, you may keep an eye if you wish." Arisu stated, although she sensed the opening portal, interrupted by Burritsu stepping out of a portal. She wasn't quite sure what he was doing here, but she turned to face him, all her senses firing on all cylinders.

He announced that he had come from Kirigakure, sent by someone else, and was now stepping down as the Mizukage. Impassive as ever, Arisu halted her steps and turned towards him. "With the Hokage as my witness, I accept your resignation. Please deposit the Seven Swords and any artifacts from the village onto the ground. I'll permit you to keep Samehada as you were the wielder prior to assuming the position." she said, stepping towards him.

As for what his purpose was here, she didn't honestly care. Assuming she'd collected the items as asked, she would bow to Airi. "If you wish to find me, I shall be searching for any remains, but first I need to secure these in Kiri."

Opening up a portal, Arisu would step through and return to her home with Kirigakure's legendary swords.

However, if he didn't hand them over, Arisu would simply allow Airi to interrogate him, heading towards the city to start looking around for anything she could find. She'd track him down later to collect if she needed to.

As it sounded it seemed the Hokage did not know as his debt to her he remained loyal to her cause as Burittsu gazed upon her for a mere moment. Reminded him that it was her that allowed Blitz to grow and attempt such a foolish act of sacrificing his body. The unstable mindset of a shinobi that fought before thinking was absurd yet all he did was consume violence. Burittsu bowed his head in respect before raising it as it seemed he had a couple of knots to finish up. Reading her cues

”Strange? Ren Uchiha visited with a woman from the Uchiha clan.  Didn’t ask her name. Not my business. Message was loud and clear Raijin would be coming to Kirigakure. So this why I’ve made my choice to leave the post. Devote myself to battle. I delivered their clan member Zenaku Uchiha back to them after saving his life in the Bijuu attack. Using the same technique used for me to reach this point. There is no secret. The same goes for you my Mizukage.”

Burittsu bowed and played the role facing off amongst two of them would be a harsh and fierce battle, one that for some reason thrilled him. His body thumping to the notion of death and battle and the thrill of it all combined yet he just now earned his freedom. Burittsu bowed as he only had a simple one yet with his body he was finally understanding the thrill the boy lived on. As if he didn’t care and begged for death to seconded him yet he remained composed. Knowing any word besides that she wanted to hear would mean a certain way of processing forward. Taking one knee down in front of the two, Kage's Burittsu presented all six swords and asked to smile as he looked Arisu in the eyes. Yet before she could move to take it he had one simple request.

“Lady Mizukage. After hearing Ren Uchiha state the name of Raijin I see no need for me to remain behind a desk when the village is in good care. I offer myself as a sacrifice to meet and take on Raijin in the name of Kirigakure. Death may come but I shall be the first to embrace its presence if need be. With the Hokage as my witness, I…Burittsu Yuki will kill Raijin or die on the battlefield.”

Burittsu finally felt free to fight such a person who seemed to present a threat to the village that brought him in gladly he left the position upon better judgment. Placing the three lives on a thrill for battle against someone such as that was an outlandish thing to do yet here he was doing everything he wanted and more. Burittsu bowed his head to Arisu before asking for his request to the Mizukage gazing into her eyes the Yuki didn’t fear being himself.
