With the new heart under her belt being a success when it came to getting it in her, Kanna had a whole new brand of Ninjutsu she could focus on improving actively. Katon would come to be a great use for long-range in general, and would give her a much better edge than what she'd have without it. To summarize, she was extremely greatful, mostly to both Iyoshi and Yami, and didn't plan on wasting what had been given to her. Now it was just a matter of effectively training it.
There was another matter for her to handle first, though. She forms half of the Clone handseal and splits her reservoir, dedicating it to a clone of its own sentience. A plume of smoke comes into being beside her, and from it emerges a shadow clone, which positions itself behind her. Since she was wearing just a black tanktop with a white rope sash and a black pair of pants she wouldn't have to get her clothing removed to get that out of the way. Upon her back was her usual large scroll, too. Casually, Kanna's shadow clone removes the sealing ink pen from within her hip pouch, then unseals a pot of ink from within it.
It was a rather informal setting to attend to it in, but she'd forgotten to get it out of the way. Besides, it wouldn't take that long anyways; Kanna knows a good amount about Fuuinjutsu, and what she intends to do with the preexisting heart seal is no exception. The shadow clone applies more ink to the completed sealing formula, imbuing the pen with chakra so that it can micromanage adding the trigger that the seal itself would have and its ability to have a trigger.
While the clone is working at that as well as trying to make sure the ink dries, Kanna is trying something of her own. She continuously flows threads from her mouth, trying to imbue them with her own chakra. Since they were a part of her, something such at that should be quite the easy task. It was easier said than done, though, because of the specific chakra in question, healing chakra; Medics always had the problem of needing to be close up to effectively heal people. So she wanted to change that about herself personally.
After some personal assessment and calculating the distance between herself and the tree, Kanna and her shadow clone back up until they're at least exactly thirty-five meters away. From there, the woman spews forth the threads, allowing them to thrust forward at impressive speeds in one fell swoop. They come to a complete halt just five meters off from the tree itself, which is what Kanna comes up with as a conclusion as soon as they've stopped. Given the time to assess the range, she confirms that the threads have a maximum of thirty meters of range on them.
"That'll be more than enough, though." Kanna mumbles incomprehensibly to herself at that point. It's from there that the female proceeds to retracts the threads back close to her body. The threaded woman removes a kunai from her hip pouch and slashes across her wrist in one brief motion, before tucking it back away. Instead of letting the jiongu threads immediately stitch the wound up, she plugs the threads into the surrounding area and then begins to flow healing chakra along them in the close proximity.
As soon as the healing chakra comes in contact, the wound starts to close up as her cell division rate multiplies rapidly, effectively sealing the wound with the aid of standard Medical Nin procedure. She retracts the threads afterwards, swallowing them. It's around this time that the clone's completed the conversion of her heart-containment seal into a transcription seal, based on the trigger of her own heart beat ceasing or her heart being destroyed.
