Unique Abilities:
Striked out UAs are the ones that won't be in effect until I get the applicable Skill for them.
Waterborn: Nami's main focuses from a young age have been on two things, Suiton and her clan abilities. As a result, Nami's Suiton techniques costs one rank below their normal value. This makes her less prone to using Fuuinjutsu, causing the cost of techniques of that type to be increased by one rank.
Observant Eye: By dedicating her efforts to being on the defensive instead of the offensive, Nami can raise her Perception by one tier, at the cost of lowering her Coordination by 1 tier. This lasts over the course of a single combat period, and can be changed on a whim.
Speedy Crafter: Nami can increase the speed at which she crafts something, lowering the time it takes by one rank. This ultimately limits what she can make by one tier below her base Coordination.
Cost Cutter: Experience in marketing has aided Nami in learning how to cut down on the price she pays for resources to get something done. This is the same case scenario when Fuuinjutsu is thrown into the mix, in regards to Enchantments. Nami is able to cut down the cost of an Enchantment by 50%, but during the application process her Intelligence is regarded as 1 tier lower than the norm, restricting her from placing higher-level Enchantments if she does this.
Look Mom, No Hands!: If she wishes it, Nami is able to utilize Suiton without handseals, but doing so increases the cost of the technique she does it with by one rank.
Appearance: Nami stands at five foot one in height, shorter than the average expected height for her age. Her build in itself is slender in nature, befitting of her size, though she has obvious traces of puberty evident along her figure. While she has a meager bust, much of her bodily development's gone mostly to her hips and backside, being the only feature about her that helps her not look like an outright child. Her skin is fair in nature, lacking tattoos or any birth marks.
She possesses a pair of dark, brown irises and bright blue hair that's naturally wavy and wild, though she typically tries to hide this. Her bangs are usually framing her face somewhat in a messy fashion, if she isn't maintaining it. She typically takes care of it with much-needed (and appreciated) aid, and usually keeps it pulled back with the wide variety of bandanas of different colors and designs that flood her wardrobe. Her clothing itself is just as broad in nature, never really fitting one style or nature.
History: Born into the clan known for conquering the Land of Water, Nami's life was never really ordinary. She was raised to pride herself on being a Hozuki, and while she was happy about it, she tried her best to avoid really getting an inflated head about it. Nami's early days were mostly spent learning the standard expected for a child---and eventually she was pulled into the idea of being a kunoichi. Of course, as a Hozuki clan member, she was already versed in the use of Suiton as a whole.
With some semblance of natural talent, Nami progressed relatively well within the newly-created Kirigakure no Sato. Among the first dozen generations to graduate from the academy, she was quick to catch onto the concept of Ninjutsu as well, showing a somewhat impressive level of intellect for her age. Nami was quick to gain the admiration of her classmates through the kind nature she's carried through her life, typically making little trinkets for them that eventually inspired her desire to move on to bigger things, engineering in specific.
Shortly after graduating at the age of twelve, Nami moved on to study architecture and things of the like, seeking to hone her talents so she can continue to help the village her clan created grow.
Personality: Nami's an inherently benevolent individual that seeks out the happiness of those around her. She tends to listen to others more than she talks, liking to hear people's problems or dreams. The Hozuki is also very noble to Kirigakure as a whole, and has a personal dream of her own to help the village strive financially. The dream in itself has driven her to work toward using her career as a kunoichi to hone her talents in more abnormal specialties, like engineering to help build up infrastructure.
While she actually fears the idea of being a mother, Nami shares the similar mindset of one, in that she wants to guide people around her along a path of success and nurture them in whatever way she can. She's very welcoming to most, and actively tries to be friendly to friend, foe and stranger, being taught to remain patient. It's because of this that she can retain relatively tolerant in the face of negativity, and instead attempt to avert it with a smile or joke.
When it comes to rules, Nami tends to be an advid follower of them. She doesn't try to bend any beyond bounds that are considered out of line, but that doesn't mean she'll tolerate clearly out of line ones, either. Whether it's out of line for her personally, or people around her, the concept of fairness is important to her, going along with her perception that everyone deserves a second chance.
In spite of being fairly nice to everyone, Nami is wary of treacherous people, as long as well as people who seek to bring harm to her clan or fellow shinobi and kunoichi. She does not tolerate traitors or enemies, though whether she shows that on the outside has yet to be explored. She's also competitive to a degree, but tends to be reluctant on contesting others in the form of combat.
Nami is a strikingly forgiving person, as though she's eager to discard any bad blood she may have with someone to coerce with them.
