Thwarted with such simplicity, Hisha saw first as his kage conjured a set of frosted mirrors, looking over his shoulder to find himself partially surrounded. A legendary technique of the Yuki clan famed for its power, speed, and perhaps most importantly: its versatility. A light sheen of sweat cooled on the man’s skin as the temperature dropped and a chill went up his spine. Blitz fought more seriously that Hisha might have initially anticipated, considering the gulf in their stations within the village as well as, obviously, the differences in their power. The feeling, though, did not totally shift to fear, but an adrenaline fueled excitement, a giddiness even.
His frontal assault, more powerful than any he had conjured, was thwarted by yet another famous technique, this a treasure of the village. He had not thought too much about the Water Mirror technique, or any others like it, in depth as the privilege to learn them vastly exceeded his own station and abilities. However, he could see the tremendous utility in the ability even now and found himself hoping that perhaps his elemental affinity might turn out to be water after all. He might well need to study those abilities after this, assuming that he survived. He assumed this was mostly training in the more logical parts of his brain, but Blitz had fully raised the boy’s hackles and wild, fight or flight energy flowed through him.
At the formation of the mirrors, Hisha still had the shadowy creature near him, though it had halted to the water mirror flying back a few meters and ended up about a meter behind Hisha himself. His eyes blurred slightly as a tinge of exhaustion set in and attempting to track Blitz would prove utterly hopeless at this point. Luckily, the mirrors provided fixed waypoints, at least at current, and Hisha’s hand would form a half-seal, conjuring up a shadow clone next to him in a puff of obscuring smoke. Three things would then happen nearly at once.
First, the clone would make a break for it, running to the left between the mirror directly before them where Blitz had initially vanished and that to Hisha’s 8 o’clock. As it went, it would hurl three shuriken directly at the 8 o’clock mirror. This would not harm the mirrors, of course, but should serve as a bit of a deterrent to Blitz emerging from the mirror in question. The tactic of summoning a clone to cover one’s retreat was, of course, not novel and the Mizukage had likely seen this dozens of times before. However, Hisha was clever and it was entirely possible that Blitz did not fully realize this. Leaving himself at the center of the enemy technique while casting his own ability may well confuse the man into mistaking which Hisha was real.
While the clone acted, Hisha’s true body would enact a short string of hand seals, unleashing another barrier technique. The Castle Close would generate 4 panels, nearly invisible, to block Blitz’ pathways. Three would fit about 3 inches each in front of each of the mirrors, each overhanging the mirror in all directions by the fill width and height of the mirror. The final barrier would extend above, a huge, flat panel parallel to the ground and about a foot off the top of the mirrors. Depending on Blitz’s decisions and how quickly he would transit between the mirrors, he could easily crash directly into one of the panels. The barrier on top would prevent Blitz from either escaping to or attacking from the top. While not offensively minded in the inception of the technique, the high speed motion of Blitz could easily work against him in this case, causing blunt-damage and catching him off guard. Further, it would cover the clone -and his own- retreat.
Finally, as the clone reached the line directly between the two mirrors, the point after which he would no longer be “contained” by the triangle of mirrors, Hisha himself would once more release a pulse of chakra upon weaving a string of further hand seals. The area surrounding the mirrors would fill with an ambient chakra, and over the course of the next few seconds, a collection of clones of Blitz would materialize, appearing to coalesce from the ambient mist and water, as if they were a collection of water clones of his. The release of chakra would lower his reserves to the point that the clone would not dissipate.
If Blitz moved to attack the fleeing clone, regardless of whether he was able to circumvent the barriers blocking his path, Hisha have his shadowy figure rush to Blitz, swiping at him with a hand comprised suddenly of foot-long claws, the mind-affecting nature of the illusion caring not for the armor of Blitz. A part of him wanted to stand his ground in this cage of Blitz’ creation, but his reason told him this would not prove wise. Instead, he would drop off a single stake, an object looking almost like a nail, into the ground before running in the opposite direction of his clone. The stake would rapidly expand another barrier, creating a Blue Filter to curb the use of water techniques from the other combatant. If Blitz did not react to the clone, Hisha would simply have the shadow presence near him to help cover his escape, allowing it to attack the other man at any time he should emerge from the mirrors and potentially collide with the barriers.

Description: The user creates an illusion which spawns a group of false clones in a wide area. These clones are able to move about at the user’s whim, and can make noises as if they were real clones. Uniquely, these clones appear as convincing copies of the creator to opposing sensory techniques. Victims of this illusion are induced to believe that the clones’ chakra systems are ‘real,’ meaning that anyone who has fallen prey and has a chakra sensory ability engaged will become convinced that the chakra networks of each clone, as well as the primary body, are identical. Thus, these illusions can serve as a kind of chaff or distraction against sensory types. 3 post set in.
Weakness: Abilities which visualize chakra can see the individual clones for what they truly are. Anyone without the sensory ability will suffer 1 rank lower psychological damage, as the true nature of this illusion never actually affects the.

Hand Seals: Ox, Horse, Hare
Description: A versatile use of fuinjutsu which allows the user to create a kind of "panel" of sealing chakra. This panel or wall can be up to 10x10m and is roughly 6 inches thick, though can be made smaller if the user wishes. The barriers function primarily as defensive measures, able to block techniques of a rank equal to their power before shattering. They can also be used to temporarily seal off enclosed spaces, such as a doorway, for as long as the upkeep is paid or the barrier is broken. The user can generate them anywhere they like within a 50m radius but cannot move them once place. The barriers are usually squares, but can be molded slightly to better suit their needs, such as being a rectangle or a circle/oval. It cannot make complicated shapes. The barriers are transparent nearly to the point of being invisible, but those of high perception will be able to make them out, especially with non-visual means. The user may create up to 2 panels at D rank, with 1 additional possible for every rank higher. The S rank allows for 2 additional panels instead, capping out at a total of 7.
Weakness: Cannot learn/use a rank of this ability beyond what the user could normally learn. The barrier can be undone per normal unsealing rules. Perception of equal to the power of the technique will be able to see the barrier in an extremely vague manner, which becomes more apparent after a post of observation. Perception lower than the power can see them vaguely after 1 post of observation per rank lower in perception than the power of the technique. Seeing something or someone hit a panel will allow them to discern its location without regard to these checks. Chakra visualization can always see these.

Hand Seals: Dog, Ram, Rabbit, Dog
Description: Using this technique, the user will construct a large, spherical barrier space. This can be cast normally by touching the ground or another surface, which will act as the central point of the barrier, but is more often prepared via some kind of tool which contains the barrier. Regardless of the mechanism, the barrier will expand rapidly from the point of placement to the full radius, then activate on anything within. This barrier does not restrict any movement in or out, but instead warps the space within by "limiting" a particular element, in this case Water. Water techniques cast from within the barrier will have their cost increased by 1 rank and fire technique within the barrier will have their power reduced by 1 rank. When used at A rank, the techniques will be further weakened, reducing their speed by 1 rank as well. This does not affect advanced elements unless 2 or more barriers overlap. In this case, advanced elements will be weakened in the same way if and only if both of the constituent element's barrier are overlapping (ie. ice will only be weakened if both Wind and Water barriers overlap).
Weakness: Cannot learn/use a rank of this ability beyond what the user could normally learn. The barrier can be undone per normal unsealing rules by removing the seal that generates the barrier, which is always at the epicenter of the sphere. Perception of equal to the power of the technique will be able to see the barrier's border in an extremely vague manner, which becomes more apparent after a post of observation. Perception lower than the power can see them vaguely after 1 post of observation per rank lower in perception than the power of the technique. This affects the area indiscriminately, meaning the user and his allies can also be affected by this.
