A MAD SCIENTIST'S RESEARCH SAGA PT. 5F (ROTWANG, SOLO, COMPLETE)

After having finished clearing the fifth floor and collecting its tag, Rotwang then focused his efforts on finding a way up to the sixth floor of the mysterious, floating "Mugen Castle" so that he could find the sixth tag for his ever-expanding tag collection. Naturally, he employed his "Sensing Technique" for this as he had done previously. After several minutes of searching, this technique brought back a single ping on the opposite end of the chamber he was in now, and he followed this lead to its source as quickly as his feet could carry him.

So...it is to be some sort of geyser as a means of transport to the sixth floor, eh? How intriguing, indeed...Whoever or whatever has brought forth this castle certainly does not lack creativity when it comes to details regarding various aspects of this place...

Rotwang thought silently as he examined the mechanism that he had found with his "Sensing Technique" and then activated it to produce the geyser that would carry him to the sixth floor of the mysterious, floating "Mugen Castle". Then, he flew up to the top of the geyser by deploying the flight module that he had installed in his puppet armor and landed on it so that he could let it carry him to the sixth floor per his objective for the day's exploration. Once there, he began using his "Sensing Technique" again to search for potential traps or guards that could stop his progress toward his intended goal for the day. Upon doing so, he did not find any guards, but he did sense a trap hidden somewhere in his general area. Additionally, he also detected the presence of the sixth floor's tag somewhere ahead of him. So, he started to make his way through the sixth floor cautiously to avoid being surprised by the trap.

Alas, Rotwang ended up triggering the trap despite his best efforts to avoid it and this one turned out to be a sort that involved hidden vents opening to spew boiling oil all over the floor of the sixth-floor chamber, presumably to burn any intruders alive. Thankfully, however, he managed to avoid this trap by deploying the flight module that he had installed in his puppet armor yet again and using it to fly high up to the ceiling of the sixth floor. Then, he waited till the boiling oil drained out completely and then flew towards where he had detected the sixth floor's designated tag. Said tag ended up being hidden among the roots of a giant tree that could be seen growing out of the floor of the sixth floor's chamber.

So, the hiding place for the tag this time is a tree...Hmm, that was certainly an unexpected finding in this otherwise clearly artificial castle...Oh well, far be it from me to question this strange discovery in this even stranger castle...

Rotwang mused thus silently as he examined the tree for any traps to ensure that he would not get blindsided by them during his all-important tag search. Still, since he did not find any even after several minutes of analysis, he finished up this task by ensuring to collect the tag and the root upon which he had found it so that he could hand both over to the local authorities to serve as proof of his progress on the sixth day of this special mission. Finally, he pocketed the tag with the tree root to which it was still attached and then proceeded to search for a path to the seventh floor.
