This manifests in an ability that Keno has labeled [b]Phagogenesis[/b], the ability to empower oneself and their offspring via consumption. The Kyōshōchū are pale grey winged ant-like insects capable of consuming both organic and inorganic materials of D-Rank or lower Hardness, using whatever they consume to empower themselves, increasing their Constitution and Speed for 4 posts after feeding.

Kyōshōchū reproduce rapidly like their predecessor, restoring 50 insects per post without the assistance of jutsu. Their rate of reproduction also increases once they've fed, restoring 100 insects per post they are empowered. These insects possess a heightened capacity for evolution, allowing Keno to breed variants of them with the capabilities of materials that they've consumed.

Initially they are capable of simply acting as a mild painkiller, allowing the hive to last longer in drawn out battles. They are also capable of being used alongside Iryojutsu in order to heal the hive more fully, knitting together wounds, reducing swelling and bruising, and restoring any physical damage as it is inflicted upon Keno.

[b]Bug's Appearance:[/b] Kuroka Kyōshōchū take the form black scarab-like beetles with sharp mandibles and powerful wings. They are coated in a substance that makes them pearlescent, their carapaces shimmering like oil slick.
[b]Bug's Effect:[/b] The Kuroka's bodies produce a unique substance that protects them from flame, granting them resistance to it and sources of extreme heat up to their Constitution. They are capable of being used in techniques to extinguish flames, expelling the substance to put out fires based on the rank of the technique they're used in. The substance coating their carapaces allows them to be ignited without harming themselves, letting them be used alongside or within Katon techniques.
[b]Bug's Drawbacks:[/b] While Kuroka Kyōshōchū are no longer weak to Katon, they possess a heightened vulnerability to Water, Ice and cold temperature. Their abilities are crippled when wet, their speed reduced 1 Tier when drenched and they are easily drowned.

[b]Bug's Appearance:[/b] Akagane Kyōshōchū take a form reminiscent of moths, though with sleeker bodies, slimmer translucent wings, thoraxes tipped with stingers and a noticeable exoskeletons. The exoskeleton almost gives the impression of them wearing armor upon their bodies.
[b]Bug's Effect:[/b] The Akagane are much sturdier than their cousins, causing them to count as possessing Hardness equivalent to their Constitution in regards to taking damage from outside sources. They thrive when working together, these bugs being capable of simulating Strength so long as they work in concert. This allows them to lift and move objects or even clash with enemies, based on the number of them used to do so: 20 Akagane Kyoshochu used allows for the swarm to simulate E+ Str, with each additional 20 being able to simulate an additional + (up to a maximum of A+ with 260 Insects).
[b]Bug's Drawbacks:[/b] Akagane Kyōshōchū are more resistant to most assaults, however they retain their weakness to Katon and gain an additional weakness to Fuuton.

[b]Bug's Effect:[/b] Shidoku Kyōshōchū's bodies are laced through and through with a powerful neurotoxin, granting them an immunity to other poisons up to A-Rank and also transferring a resistance to their host. The host maintains +2 Advantages to their Constitutions when determining the effects of Poisons. These insects produce a unique poison known as Shidoku Venom, with the effects of the poison affecting a target's nervous system acutely. The venom can affect a target in a liquid form transmitted via bite, or a solid form transmitted via eating the insects.
[b]Bug's Drawbacks:[/b] Shidoku Kyōshōchū lack the ability to fly, thus have their method of travel limited in comparison to other Kyoshochu. They are also weak to Katon.

[b]Bug's Appearance:[/b] The Midokyoku Kyōshōchū take the form of bright green cicadas, though with larger compound eyes and two sets of large, opalescent wings. Their bodies also seem more resonant, very movement causing chirp-like vibrations that carry farther than the usual cicadian buzzing.
[b]Bug's Effect:[/b] Midokyoku are highly sensitive to sound, possessing a natural form of echolocation that alerts the user to danger, growing stronger the closer the danger is to them: within 1m of the user they gain +1 Tier to Perception, up to 3m away from themselves they gain +2 Advantages and within 5m they gain +1 Advantage. Anything beyond that grants no bonus to Perception*. These insects are also capable of producing powerful soundwaves from their body, allowing them to be utilized in techniques that weaponize these soundwaves.

[b]Bug's Appearance:[/b] Aomyaku Kyōshōchū take the form of centipede-like creatures, though with bodies that end in large curved stringers, more developed mandibles and two large clawed pincers as forelimbs.
[b]Bug's Effect:[/b] The Aomyaku produce an enzyme within their body that allows them to enrich their host's blood, allowing it to carry much more nutrients and keeping them healthier while also affording Worker Kyōshōchū an easier time carrying out their job. This increases the painkilling effect of the Workers from mild to moderate, and also slows any light bleeding to a crawl. This enzyme can also be turned into a blood thinner or thickener when used on anyone other than the host, causing wounds to bleed more profusely or slowly. Aomyaku possess a unique bodily structure that be used alongside techniques in order to liquefy their bodies without killing the insects, allowing them to easily swim through liquids (their most favored being the blood streams of their victims), and even reform themselves.
[b]Bug's Drawbacks:[/b] Aomyaku Kyōshōchū possess a weakness to Katon and Raiton, and also suffer from being affected by anything within the liquids they swim in when liquefied (ex: poison in the user's blood stream will also affect the Aomyaku within their blood). [b]Bug's Appearance:[/b] Kuroka Kyōshōchū take the form black scarab-like beetles with sharp mandibles and powerful wings. They are coated in a substance that makes them pearlescent, their carapaces shimmering like oil slick.
[b]Bug's Effect:[/b] The Kuroka's bodies produce a unique substance that protects them from flame, granting them resistance to it and sources of extreme heat up to their Constitution. They are capable of being used in techniques to extinguish flames, expelling the substance to put out fires based on the rank of the technique they're used in. The substance coating their carapaces allows them to be ignited without harming themselves, letting them be used alongside or within Katon techniques.
[b]Bug's Drawbacks:[/b] While Kuroka Kyōshōchū are no longer weak to Katon, they possess a heightened vulnerability to Water, Ice and cold temperature. Their abilities are crippled when wet, their speed reduced 1 Tier when drenched and they are easily drowned.

Additionally, colored Kyōshōchū only enter their empowered state when they consume their preferred foods (Kikaichu, burned materials or fire chakra in the case of Kuroka).

[b]Bug's Appearance:[/b] Akagane Kyōshōchū take a form reminiscent of moths, though with sleeker bodies, slimmer translucent wings, thoraxes tipped with stingers and a noticeable exoskeletons. The exoskeleton almost gives the impression of them wearing armor upon their bodies.
[b]Bug's Effect:[/b] The Akagane are much sturdier than their cousins, causing them to count as possessing Hardness equivalent to their Constitution in regards to taking damage from outside sources. They thrive when working together, these bugs being capable of simulating Strength so long as they work in concert. This allows them to lift and move objects or even clash with enemies, based on the number of them used to do so: 20 Akagane Kyoshochu used allows for the swarm to simulate E+ Str, with each additional 20 being able to simulate an additional + (up to a maximum of A+ with 260 Insects).
[b]Bug's Drawbacks:[/b] Akagane Kyōshōchū are more resistant to most assaults, however they retain their weakness to Katon and gain an additional weakness to Fuuton.

[b]Bug's Appearance:[/b] Shidoku Kyōshōchū take an appearance reminiscent of arachnids, possessing eight long legs, a bulbous violet body with black skulls upon their underbelly and small stunted wings. They possess eight eyes positioned across their head that allows for a greater range of sight than their cousins.
[b]Bug's Effect:[/b] Shidoku Kyōshōchū's bodies are laced through and through with a powerful neurotoxin, granting them an immunity to other poisons up to A-Rank and also transferring a resistance to their host. The host maintains +2 Advantages to their Constitutions when determining the effects of Poisons. These insects produce a unique poison known as Shidoku Venom, with the effects of the poison affecting a target's nervous system acutely. The venom can affect a target in a liquid form transmitted via bite, or a solid form transmitted via eating the insects.
[b]Bug's Drawbacks:[/b] Shidoku Kyōshōchū lack the ability to fly, thus have their method of travel limited in comparison to other Kyoshochu. They are also weak to Katon.

[b]Bug's Appearance:[/b] The Midokyoku Kyōshōchū take the form of bright green cicadas, though with larger compound eyes and two sets of large, opalescent wings. Their bodies also seem more resonant, very movement causing chirp-like vibrations that carry farther than the usual cicadian buzzing.
[b]Bug's Effect:[/b] Midokyoku are highly sensitive to sound, possessing a natural form of echolocation that alerts the user to danger, growing stronger the closer the danger is to them: within 1m of the user they gain +1 Tier to Perception, up to 3m away from themselves they gain +2 Advantages and within 5m they gain +1 Advantage. Anything beyond that grants no bonus to Perception*. These insects are also capable of producing powerful soundwaves from their body, allowing them to be utilized in techniques that weaponize these soundwaves.
[b]*Note:[/b] This bonus does not stack, and only applies within the specified ranges (i.e. if Keno possesses D-Tier Perception, they count as possessing C-Tier towards any target within 1m of themselves, D++ within 3m and D+ within 5m).

[b]Bug's Appearance:[/b] Aomyaku Kyōshōchū take the form of centipede-like creatures, though with bodies that end in large curved stringers, more developed mandibles and two large clawed pincers as forelimbs.
[b]Bug's Effect:[/b] The Aomyaku produce an enzyme within their body that allows them to enrich their host's blood, allowing it to carry much more nutrients and keeping them healthier while also affording Worker Kyōshōchū an easier time carrying out their job. This increases the painkilling effect of the Workers from mild to moderate, and also slows any light bleeding to a crawl. This enzyme can also be turned into a blood thinner or thickener when used on anyone other than the host, causing wounds to bleed more profusely or slowly. Aomyaku possess a unique bodily structure that be used alongside techniques in order to liquefy their bodies without killing the insects, allowing them to easily swim through liquids (their most favored being the blood streams of their victims), and even reform themselves.
[b]Bug's Drawbacks:[/b] Aomyaku Kyōshōchū possess a weakness to Katon and Raiton, and also suffer from being affected by anything within the liquids they swim in when liquefied (ex: poison in the user's blood stream will also affect the Aomyaku within their blood). Aomyaku in another individual's blood can be killed by expelling a chakra price equal to their Constitution, or through the use of any Iryojutsu that cleanses blood.
