Team Artifice Fundraising Finale

Missions:

Neo smiles when she sees her student and her associate return from that most recent mission, but she knows this last one really is the hardest, and so had been saving it for last. Despite Ancha recently stating that their jounin would no longer be timing them, she still actually had the stopwatch running, though she no longer consulted it anymore. She'd simply put it away in her carry bag for now. Neo tosses the final scrolls to both Kiyoshi and Ancha, allowing them to read up on The Shadows.

The Uchiha herself is busy drinking some boba tea, enjoying watching the people mill about in a fairly lazy afternoon; with the heat recently, it had become almost mind-meltingly warm, that type of almost uncomfortable, but simultaneously comforting heat that just made you want to lay down wherever you were and take a nap. Neo herself had experienced many such summers in Konoha, so she was feeling a bit nostalgic, but she also knew that this was one of the most perfect times for a pickpocket or a thief to make good on achieving gains through their illicit means.

She makes a few hand signs for Ancha to interpret, which she does so almost instinctively when Neo starts with a sign that could be interpreted as "speak".

"You are to take at least one of them alive, if at all possible. Let's try not to make the market street a bloodbath right in front of other shopping patrons."

Neo smiles after Ancha finishes speaking, then waves the two of them off.

Kiyoshi would nod in agreement with Ancha's words, he was much too squeamish for a bloodbath anyways. He doubted he could even actually kill anyone, no, he was just going to do his best to knock them out and hope that would suffice. If not, then he would hope that Ancha would be able to do what he could not, but he was no killer and he wouldn't kill for anyone even the village. "I believe we can handle it," he replied with a wide grin on his face. After the apprehension of the last criminal going so smoothly with the two of them, he had the utmost confidence that they could handle some thugs causing problems in the market. Low lives that would pick on the weak and defenseless was bad enough, but Kiyoshi had come to know most of the merchants within the village and considered many of them his friends. Even if this wasn't a mission, he would likely do something about the group, but it was all the better that he was getting paid for it as well. Kiyoshi would bring out his two wolf puppets as he had before for the two of them to ride upon and be able to reach the market district faster than they would on foot.

Once they were in the market district Kiyoshi would go ahead and unseal the troublesome trio puppets of Bumi, Knives, and Mini-mi. With all five of his puppets out they would move slower, but he would still be able to maneuver them faster than most people could move or see on their own. It would not take them long to find the ruffians either, they did not even try to hide their presence or what they were doing, almost as if they were flaunting about what they were doing to the poor people within the market district. As soon as Kiyoshi spotted them his puppets would spring into action as he notified Ancha of their position, with his five puppets moving at a hundred and seventy-five meters per second it was easy to gain the upper hand against the eight individuals. Using his Violet secret formation, he would surround the group with the five puppets in a pentagram like circle before rushing them forward. His wolf puppets activating the roll out function spinning rapidly as they approached, while the troublesome trio puppets would be reinforced with chakra as they assaulted the group. In a matter of a few seconds seven of the eight individuals would be knocked unconscious with only one left for Ancha to deal with, it would all happen so fast that the one that was left wouldn't even know what had happened before his comrades were no longer by his side. Once the last one was dealt with, Kiyoshi would begin tying up the unconscious group that was causing a problem. Loading them onto the wolf puppets for transportation, using them to carry the group to the police station to face the justice of the village before returning to Neo Sensei to tell her that their job was done before heading home.

It never ceases to amaze Ancha just how quickly Kiyoshi's puppets could move; she hadn't seen puppetry like this since the Second War for Independence, although Neo always admonished her for calling it that. Despite being punished for saying it aloud, Neo's eyes were always sad when Ancha called the war by its Iwagakure name, both sad and understanding; Ancha had to assume that Neo wanted her to not call it that out loud, at least around other Konoha shinobi. Breaking this reverie, Ancha realizes they've reached the market district in record time, as the sun is only starting to set and turning the horizon a brilliant orange, with purple peeking out of the horizon at the opposite side. Ancha climbs off the wolf puppet and begins sneaking through the market district, looking all around for those thieves while Kiyoshi did some searching on his own. Or at least, accompanied by his puppets.

She's starting to worry about her charge when she's suddenly notified by Kiyoshi that he's spotted their targets, and she immediately moves into action. However, she only catches up just as Kiyoshi is finishing off most of the bandits himself, with Ancha being left with the one that had managed to avoid being knocked out by the other puppets. Ancha moves quickly, dashing in with her Body Flicker technique while she extends chakra scalpels from just a pair of her fingers on each hand; she rapidly severs tendons in the final thief's arms and legs until he collapses to the ground, unable to do more than curse while she ties him up, knowing that while his tendons will eventually heal, he'll need quite a few weeks of rest before he ever becomes mobile again.

Ancha sighs as she finally sits back down at the bench with Neo, who looks at her stopwatch, having hit the button right after Ancha had returned to her, then tosses the stopwatch aside to Ancha's lap, who sees that the timer had stopped with 60 minutes still on the stopwatch timer. Neo finishes her pink lemonade and stands up, followed by Ancha as they walk away from the bench, returning to Neo's home in the Uchiha Clan compound after Neo drops off the completed mission scrolls.
