Ayame had heard that a Genin had claimed leadership of the clan, something she didn't know was something that could be done. This was someone she didn't know, and having been around for the war and all of that stuff, she wasn't certain she wanted to be beholden to people that didn't at least earn it. Especially since apparently none of the clan members decided to challenge his claim as the leader, at least someone had to.
Having issued a challenge to the claim for clan leadership, all she had to do was wait. If Taco wanted to defend his new leadership claim, he'd show up and fight her for it, and if he didn't show up, then Ayame would, for some reason, be the next leader. Although there was still hope that the Jounin of the clan would see some amount of sense and actually come through so she didn't have to.
It wasn't really a secret that Ayame wasn't particularly a fighter, but given the last few leaderships of the clan, the Senju had certainly been in a state of decline lately, but it wasn't like they wouldn't grow back to their full potential. As a leader though, Ayame wouldn't mind being the one to try and do that.
Ayame's hair was tied back into a ponytail, the white hair just being kept out of her face in case it came to a fight, which was something she'd learned through training was important. Her outfit was just a simple black sleeveless shirt and a pair of black combat pants and boots, but as usual, she didn't actually use any ninja tools.
Pacing back and forth, all she could do was wait.
