Evening Meetings (Cho) (Mature)

It was late in the training grounds in the Hidden Mist Village and Valen was working on some personal techniques. He was mostly alone although a few people were nearby working on their own training. He left them to their devices as he focused on his own work. He had a training sword with him, as he refrained from bringing his Hai no Ha to a training ground. Training with his was overkill when another weapon would do just as well and be much less..lethal..to anyone it might have accidentally struck. He only needed a catalyst to practice his kenjutsu, he did not need a lethal weapon here. He moved through his warm up kata’s, letting his body become used to motions that had not been in use since before he had been frozen. He needed to get back up to speed. Luckily that seemed simple enough.

He had eschewed a shirt tonight, knowing he would just get a soaked in sweat and possibly charred besides. So his upper body was visible, which displayed the multitude of scars across his back. Scars he felt no shame in. The various brand marks from previous owners, each with a single diagonal mark through them to show the owner of that brand no longer owned him, were ugly things to look upon for most. Valen himself did not care, tended to not think of them actually. He simply wanted to progress, and fight. Calmly, silently, he engulfed his weapon in fire using simple chakra manipulation. The flames licking up the practice weapon and enshrouding it in a corona of heat and energy. Then, ensuring no one was in the blast radius, Valen swung the weapon. When he did he expelled the chakra from the blade and sent it out. With that motion he sent out an invisible wave of heat energy that was difficult for the eyes to track. It traveled and engulfed a tree in fire, seemingly from fifty meters away. To the casual onlooker, it would appear as if Valen swung his weapon and transferred the fire from it to the tree.

In reality Valen had extinguished the heat, using chakra manipulation to send that heat energy out in a wave that expanded, as heat tended to do. When that heat energy struck the tree, the natural fuel of the wood caught flame. The fire from his weapon had been extinguished as it was the catalyst for the heat energy required. “Hi no Hana: Blooming Flower..” He would say simply, sheathing his weapon before turning to look at some of the others in the grounds. Two genin were sparring with practice swords of their own. However their stances were wrong and they could not get the power in the blows because of it. Noting this, Valen moved over. Both looked at him warily, he was known to some in Kirigakure as ‘Valen of The Burning Blade’ and he had a reputation for elemental brutality in a fight. As well as being a member of the ‘Nightmare Brigade’ a militant mercenary group attached to Kirigakure that hunted down and executed criminals.

Still Valen said nothing until one of them spoke up, nervous tension causing the young man’s voice to crack. “S-Something we can help you with, Minamoto-san?” He would ask, a stutter to his voice. Valen was still a Jounin of the village after all and a certain amount of respect was required. However he was still feared by those who did not understand the Nightmare Brigade. “Your stance is wrong, both of you.” He would say simply before drawing the practice sword and tapping spots on the young man’s bodies to move them into place. A knee back hear, and elbow higher there, a grip adjustment here. “I know it’s difficult to always get the power when you shift your grip. For now those focus on getting the power normally and then practice doing so without having the perfect grip on the weapon. Try now.” He would instruct, prompting the two man to nod before they began their spar once more. Whereas before the sound of the training weapons clacking together was noticeable, if not particularly loud, the two weapons now struck with a much louder crack of impact. “Focus on the movements for now. Let your body get the muscle memory down. Then work on speeding it up. You’ll get faster, but don’t force it.” He would say, prompting nods from the two men. With that he would move away from them, moving toward a large stone and leaning against it. The two seemed immediately relieved when he left their presence. A normal occurrence but one he was certainly used to. Idly he’d take a water bottle out and take a pull from it. Considering his next actions.

Jutsu Trained:

Today was disappointing, she felt weak. Cho spent most of her morning, all of the afternoon, and part of the evening at the training grounds. Her hands were bruised from her training, she wasn't very strong and she wanted to change that if she could. I should stick with medical... Mom will blow a gasket seeing my bruises The blonde chided herself. Her light blue eyes were filled with disappointment, she was just going to pack it in and head home. At least, that was her intention. However, a blazing tree caught her attention. What the... she cocked her head to the side and began wandering towards the ignited tree.

Once close enough, Cho's surprise faded. Seeing the person who could have caused the fire to light up. She exhaled some, not as intimidated by the man as the two he addressed. She wouldn't get close to the situation, just close enough that she could observe. She crossed her arms, wrinkling up the loose-fitting, red striped, sweater dress she wore. Her long blonde hair tussled from training all day, her butterfly clip didn't even manage to keep her hair from falling into her face. Cho brushed her bangs and a few stray strands from her face and continued to watch the interaction between The Burning Blade's Valen and two other shinobi.

She couldn't help but smile softly hearing him actually give advice to the training shinobi. Seeing the two make almost instant improvements piqued Cho's interest. Maybe he could help me, I'm no buki user though... Her face twisted in thought, not noticing that Valen walked away from the two training shinobi and closer to her - heading for the large stone a few feet away. The blonde shifted, her striped dress riding higher up her thigh as she did.

As he moved over to the large rock he would see a blonde woman nearby it and his eyes would be drawn toward her. Red eyes lingered upon her form for a few moments, taking it in. She had blue eyes, blonde hair, and pale skin. She wore a loose fitting red striped sweater dress and little else. She had a blue butterfly slip in her hair and she had clearly been out here working hard. He could see the bruises upon her hands from where he stood. Her hair was mussed from work and her sweater was wrinkled. She was shorter than him by a significant margin, although not too many years ago she would barely have been. He found his steps carrying himself toward her, an old flame of desire sparking and coming to life.

Upon his approach he would look to her hands and nod. “You’re clearly working hard..” He would say, his eyes falling to her mostly exposed legs due to her sweater dress riding up her thigh. “One might say you’ve apparently earned a break..What say you and I both take one together and 'make the most of it'?” He would ask, his red eyes moving to meet hers of blue. It was forward, and most certainly not subtle. Although once upon a time he would have been much more crass in his show of interest. He would watch her closely, body language and all, to get an idea of how she truly felt about the idea. “Afterwards we could see about helping you train if you would like. Unless you’d rather not take a break. In which we can simply work on your training now.” He would finish. It did not matter to him if she agreed to be ‘alone’ with him as it were or not. She was working hard to progress and he would be remiss if he did not assist as needed.

Be that in giving her advice, providing a target, or pushing her beyond her limit. His job as a Jounin was to see to her improvement. Of course that might be after they see to more physical needs as people.

Cho’s light blue eyes were off in a daze, completely unnoticing Valen approaching her. It wasn’t until he spoke directly to her that she jumped, her train of thought completely derailed. ”Uh, ah, um!” she bumbled over her words when he addressed she was working hard. She quickly shut her mouth, Valen of the Burning Blade was higher in rank. She better be respectful and not look like an idiot shinobi, especially with her newly acquired genin status. Her brow raised in curiosity when he mentioned a break, she wasn’t sure what he meant by making the most of it. Maybe a way to unwind and relieve stress.

”The break… sounds nice. Especially if it’d help me shake the… disappointing feeling.” She shifted and sighed some. Still very disappointed in her progress from today. She unfolded her arms and pulled down the hem of her dress to cover more of her thighs than it was, feeling more self-conscious than she usually does. It could look like she was fidgeting because of his reputation, but in reality, she was just beyond shy. Cho was the type of person who would judge a person when she meets them, not by the rumors that spread around the village like wildfire.

”Shinobi life… is… newish to me.” Cho would admit sheepishly, looking down a pink hue filling her cheeks in embarrassment.

She seemed to be the nervous type and when she initially stumbled over her words he would assume that she was the shy type as well. That told him that she probably would not take him up on his offer. However she would raise her brow in curiosity to it and state that the break sounded nice. Particularly if it would help her shake her feelings of disappointment. Well, Valen had never had complaints before. Mostly just sleepy contented smile and desires to go again. So he could be fairly confident it would help with her feeling of disappointment.

She pulled down the hem of her dress, apparently conscious of how revealing it was at that moment. Or perhaps she was fidgeting because of him, perhaps both. Still, he found himself attracted to her and wanting to see how things went. She would state that shinobi life was new to her and he would nod in understanding. He had yet to catch up on new recruits since he freed himself from his icy entombment. She was a genin then, and a fresh one at that. That was simple enough to correct with time and persistence. She clearly was putting in the effort if her bruised and bedraggled form was any indicator. “Everyone has to start somewhere. Follow me, my place isn’t too far from the training grounds.” He would say, motioning for her to follow. She had accepted the idea of the break after all and while Valen didn’t mind the idea of ‘making the most of it’ with a voyeur or two someone seemingly as shy as Cho would probably die on the spot at the idea of it.

That meant privacy, which he could provide. Provided she followed him he would lead her out of the training grounds and to a large apartment building. He had gotten this place before his illness and subsequent freezing however as he had never been listed as dead the place had remained in his name. It had required a metric ton of dusting but he had gotten it done shortly after his return. Hell the place still smelled faintly of the cleaner he used, giving a faint odor of cinnamon to the apartment. It was a spacious place with a kitchen and living room. A bedroom and bathroom. Nothing overly elegant or fancy. It was well kept, somewhat spartan in decor but clean and everything was in its proper place. He would enter his apartment, taking in a deep breath to enjoy the scent of a clean home. Years on slave ships made him appreciate the little things like that. “Something to drink?” He would ask her idly as he set his practice sword in the corner by the door. It was only wooden so it did not any particularly great care. If she accepted her would give her whatever beverage she asked unless she left it up to him in which case he would bring her some water. Important after hard training. His prized weapon, the Hai no Ha was on a stand by the door, unsheathed and on display. An immaculate piece of black metal with a red and purple reverse wave hardening line. The octofoil tsuba and black silk wrapped hilt with a golden end cap was the finishing touch.

Once inside he would turn to the blonde and take in her appearance again. She was a stunning vision, and he found himself excited for the first time in a while. Her pale, soft skin had a faint glow from the light to it and her light blue eyes held a sweetness to them. He took in a deep breath to steady that impulse though. First he needed to be a good host, then continue on with the idea of ‘making the most of the break’. “One moment.” He would say before moving into the bedroom and into the connected bathroom to obtain a first aid kit. Quietly he would return and motion for her to sit on his couch, his intent clear.

Cho would look up timidly when he made the common of everyone has to start somewhere. It was true, especially in her case with the overprotective mother. When he mentioned her to follow him, she fell behind almost like a loyal puppy. Her crystal blue eyes fell on Valen’s back and they widen in surprise from seeing each of his marks. She’d eye each one, wondering about the stories behind them. However, Cho wasn’t a gossip and wouldn’t directly ask him about it unless he brought it up first. At the start of the the short walk back to Valen’s home, Cho would fiddle with the sleeve of her sweater dress, ”My name is Cho… by the way…” she said softly, ”Natsu no Cho.” she gave her full name. She felt a little less awkward now that he knew her name.

Approaching the large apartment building, Cho would speed up her walk, falling just a few steps behind Valen. She would look over everything, taking in the surroundings keeping herself from staring at the marks on his back. Once they were in his apartment, she would notice it was extremely clean with little to no personalization. She’d play with the ends of her hair, twirling it around between her fingers as she would wonder - not to far from Valen since he hadn’t given her permission to roam freely. The blonde would jump in her skin slightly when she was asked if she wanted a drink. ”Um… yes, please. Water, if you would.” She’d answer, her voice soft. Her light blue eyes fell upon the sword by the door, and she couldn’t help but saunter up to it. Looking, but not touching, the black blade. She lightly placed her finger tips to her cheek and cocked her head to the side. When Valen came back with a glass of water for her, she bowed her head to him, ”Thank you, Minamoto-san.” Cho would take the glass from him, her fingertips brushing against his own as she did.

Bringing the cup to her lips, she would take a sip or two, then watch as Valen would disappear after he excused himself. She remained in the main room, standing awkwardly holding the glass of water. When he reappeared and motioned for her to sit on the couch, she would obediently do so. She sat the glass down on a near table and sit with her legs together and her hands resting on her knees.

As he knelt before her at the couch, her hands resting upon her knees he would open the first aid kit. Bruises were simple enough in nature given that by definition the skin had not been broken. He could tell at a glance that the knuckles of the hands were not broken. That meant a simple wrap to protect the bruises from being struck and opened where the skin was tender was all that needed to occur there. Plus maybe a pain killer if they troubled her. Still, she would probably get them properly handled later at the hospital. Or have a friend who could heal them themselves. For the moment given this was meant to be a break, he was trying to see that she could train again later if she wished.

He would pull out a roll of white bandages and move to take on her hands in his. The softness of the skin surprised him somewhat. Most shinobi hands were calloused. However she was still new, freshly graduated. Which probably explained some of that. He wrapped the hand gently, making sure it was not too tight so as to make the handle useless. Once done he would tie off the bandage and then move to the next hand. On this one however he would test the water somewhat. His intention was for them to become intimate. That was what the comment of ‘making the most’ of the break had meant. But some people did not catch on easily he had noticed. Or he was simply bad at inferring his real intentions.

Still, for now a small test was needed. He lifted her second hand gently and placed a gentle kiss upon the back of it. His hands and lips warm from his higher than normal body heat. Once that was done he would peripherally watch her reaction as he wrapped that hand too. Taking care as with the first, that it was not too tight. Then he would close the kit and set it aside after putting away the scissors and bandages.

His red eyes would look up to her blue ones, his look direct, and intention probably very clear. He would give her a moment to see that before rising into an attempted kiss with the blonde girl. His lips moving to cover hers in a gentle, comforting kiss. He liked things passionate, hot, and probably a bit messy. But many did not share that sentiment. He had after all had his first time with Sayuri, who was insane by any definition of the word one might want to use. That would cause anyones personal taste in sex to be a bit more..frenetic. Still, to Valen sex was sex, and it was enjoyable, and desirable at all times. So he did not mind learning to like other forms. Be they fast or slow. He simply wanted both him and whatever woman he was with to enjoy themselves.

So he would be tender, and gentle for the moment, test the waters to see how she preferred it. If she wanted to at all. Then he would adjust himself to match her wants and mood. If she had not realized the original intent behind this ‘break’ and wanted nothing to do with the idea then that was fine. Other fish in the sea after all. If she did though, then they could have some real fun together he felt. Idly his mind went to the softness of her skin and his eyes roamed over her form for a moment, yes, fun indeed.

Cho would watch apprehensively, indeed she saw that Valen was holding and opening a first aid kit, but she was just planning on healing herself later. That she could do especially since most of the damage was superficial. The blonde let Valen take her hands, one at a time, to wrap them in bandages. Cho was a 'good' patient, remaining unmoving and just allowing Valen to bandage her hands with no protests. Though she would watch how he wrapped them, closely. Wrapping bandages tended to be basic knowledge, but she couldn’t help but watch. Once he was done with the first hand, she rested it on her knee once more.

Her cheeks started to get a shade of pink in them as Valen seemed to take his time with starting to wrap her other hand. Her eyes widen some, watching Valen bring her hand up to his lips and plant a kiss on the back of it. Not only did she feel the warmth from Valen’s lips but she felt her cheeks heat up as her entire face flushed into a red color. ”Mi-Min-Minamoto-san?” Cho stammered after he wrapped her hand up, ”Wh-what was th-that for?” She couldn’t keep herself from stuttering.

As Valen packed away the supplies, Cho would bite her bottom lip. Her heart began to drum against her ribs with her rising nerves. The look he gave her made her heart beat even faster. It was almost like she froze, her muscles tensing with her face bright red and her heart hammering away in her chest. So when Valen got close, she exhaled a breath that she was holding subconsciously, just before his lips connected with hers. Cho did not pull away, stunned by the gentleness and how warm Valen was.

Instinctively, she would raise her hand up to his cheek. Even through the bandages, she felt the warmth of his skin. Her muscles would start to relax as she reciprocated the kiss. When the kiss broke, her face was still hot and bright red. ”T-that was unexpected…”

As he kissed the back of her hand she would blush and stammer out his name. Then stammer out the question he was expecting. She had not understood his intent then. That was fine, he could accommodate that and if she chose not to indulge than that was fine too. He would need to work on his delivery when asking it would seem. He did not want to be crass enough to say ‘Hey, wanna fuck?’ but he clearly needed to get the message across better. Still, when he kissed her for real, she would exhale softly as his lips connected. She did not pull away, and a hand would touch his cheek. He felt her relax a bit and when he broke the kiss her face was flushed. She would stammer out a statement of surprise, or rather that it was unexpected and he would chuckle softly.

“Given what I was trying to convey with the phrasing ‘Make the most of the break.’ I would hope it was not. But seeing as how you didn’t know why I had kissed the back of your hand before. It is clear to me that I was not clear enough.” He would say, his red eyes meeting her blue ones in a smoldering gaze as he stood up. When he did he would move to pull her up with him, being careful not to put too much pressure on her bruised hands through the bandages.

“With that said, I’ll try to be a bit more clear with this..” He would say, looking down into her eyes with the same intent look, to same hot gaze. “My bedroom is behind that door there. I would like you to join me in it, clothing optional.” He would say, the majority of the words hopefully conveying the meaning. The last two he would hope would definitely do so. He would watch her reaction once he spoke, letting it, as well as her words tell him what she wanted.

Cho’s bright blue eyes fixed onto Valen’s red ones. She couldn’t help but swallow slightly at hearing his intent. Her heart hammered against her ribcage. ”Th-that was quite clear…” her face still a vibrant red color. His want was quite clear to her now, and honestly, she felt extremely dense. Cho was called bright, but that was mostly academically, for being sheltered by her mother. So the advancements he had made went completely over her head until the last one.

She glanced down at her bandaged hands, her soft features twisted into a thoughtful look. Obviously contemplating her choices, stepping out of her comfort zone, and just saying fuck it almost literally or denying it and walking away. She bit her bottom lip slightly, mulling over the choices she had. Part of her was curious if she would have even followed him to his apartment if she knew his original intentions behind this so-called break.

Cho took a deep breath and then looked up to look back into Valen’s eyes. Her light blue eyes shifted to a cerulean color, ”Okay… lead the way” the first sentence she said in confidence. However, she bit down on her bottom lip shortly afterward - the confidence wavering. Though she couldn’t lie if she would have sex with anyone. Valen wasn’t a bad choice. Though she wasn’t sure how he felt about it. Despite being sheltered, she didn’t have any strong attachments to the act itself, she was just awkward socially.

Her blue eyes would meet his and seem to shift in shade as she spoke, agreeing to the idea. Then telling him to lead the way. She had spoken with confidence then, although quickly after she would bite her lower lip. A sign of an anxious heart. He nodded to her and lead her toward his bedroom, his hand not leaving her bandaged one. She was anxious and nervous, that meant he had an obligation to treat her well so far as he was concerned. He found over the time he had spent out of slavery that he did not particularly like the idea of people being uncomfortable around him. Nervous, wary, and hesitant sure. Those were simple and expected facets of any shinobi. Uncomfortable though? That had a different ring to it and one he did not like.

His bedroom was sparsely furnished, a king sized bed, a dresser, a door to a bathroom that was more function over form, though clean and tidy. Blackout curtains hung at the large window, keeping sunlight out during the day when he was sleeping at odd hours due to missions or patrol rotations. They were pulled back currently, tied off at the sides and giving a nice view of the evening sky. He did not notice though as he entered the room, with her hopefully following along.

Once within he would lead her toward the bed and turn toward her, his red eyes looking for her blue ones again. Then he would move to tilt her chin up and kiss her again, with a certain tenderness. Normally he did not act with timidity or gentleness, however Cho was clearly nervous and did not seem the type to appreciate his more..fervent tastes. Still, slow and gentle he could do. It all lead to pleasure in the end after all and that was what mattered. As he kissed her his hands would search for the hem of her dress and pull it up, breaking the kiss to pull it over her head and tossing it aside. Not really caring where it landed. He himself was already shirtless and only his boots and pants were on him at that moment. He took a moment to admire her form looking into her eyes and speaking. His tone calm, but with a soft undertone of hunger to her. “Do be a dear, and unlace my boots for me, would you?” He would ask, his head tilting to the side as he looked at her. That would put her on her knees in front of him, and he wondered how she would react to that request.

Cho felt as though her heart was beating in her ears, and she squeezed Valen’s hand slightly as he led her to his bedroom. She’d glance around with brief curiosity, noting that his bedroom was just as sparse as the rest of his home that she’s seen so far. Her eyes drifted from the window to the bed, a nervous lump forming in her throat. The blonde was trying to shove her anxiousness deep down, she wasn’t about to change her mind. She had to start coming out of her shell, otherwise she wouldn’t survive very long out from under her mother’s thumb.

The short blonde stood before Valen, her eyes locked on his own. Her looks reminiscent of a doll as the dark-haired shinobi lifted her chin upwards to kiss her. The gentleness Valen was showing her helped ease her nerves, but her heartrate still raced in her chest. Feeling his hands searching for the hem of her dress caused her cheeks to heat up. Cho’s face a bright red color as she stood before Valen just in her blush pink panty and bra set, two small white bows between her breasts on the bra and another below her navel on the panties.

The color in her cheeks didn’t falter, instead, it felt like it got brighter. His request for her to unlace his boots caught her off guard, her eyes widening slightly. Cho would slowly begin to kneel down, showing that she would oblige to Valen’s request. Once fully on her knees, she’d reach toward his boot laces with her shaky hands - still nervous and timid. The young woman did not look up at Valen the entire time she was unlacing his boots. However, when the request was finished, she would then lift her head up. With Cho sitting on her knees, and her idle, bandaged hands resting on her thighs, again she appeared almost doll-like.

The bra and panty set she wore beneath her dress brought a small smirk to the swordsman’s lips. It was..dare he think it, cute. Although he would never say it outloud. At his request she knelt down at his waist and untied his boots, once she had he would kick them aside. When she lifted her head up she would see that he had never looked away from her. His eyes would move to meet hers again and he would reach down to cup her cheek softly, rubbing his thumb over it. “What doll-like features you have, flawless, stunning.” He would say, his voice gentle. He wanted her to be more at ease. He would move to draw her up, making the desire for her to stand before him once more known by drawing up gently with his hand on her cheek.

If she rose then when she was at her full height he would lean down and move to place a gentle kiss on her lips once more. The warmth of her lips on his, probably insubstantial compared to the heat of his on hers, worked to stoke the fire of desire in him. Carefully, he would reach behind her, to her back as he kissed her and make to unhook the pink bra she wore, letting her make the necessary motion to toss it aside or let it drop to her feet. Him doing it might tear it after all and that would be rude. Once that was done he place his hands upon her hips and lift her. She was light, and he was strong. The act was nearly effortless, his lips would not leave hers as he did, unless she broke the kiss due to surprise of course. Should he be successful in lifting her he would carry her to bed, letting the kiss break with the motion of softly pushing her onto it.

The bed was a good mixture of firm and soft, giving enough to catch and cradle her easily but soft enough to be comfortable. It was an expensive bed, and the feel of it would make that obvious. With her upon it he would speak again, his voice calm, collected. But with an undertone of heat to it, not of anger though, but off want and passion, carefully controlled with an iron will. “You know, if you want, we could make this sort of thing a regular occurrence. You could come by as you wish, wait for me if I’m not home, and we could enjoy ourselves together. I wouldn’t promise exclusivity, at least not now. But we could certainly enjoy ourselves together as often as you wished.” His words were, as stated before, calm, and collected. However as he spoke he knelt at the edge of the bed, pulling her gently to it and spreading her legs apart enough that he would get between them. Then he punctuated the ‘as often as you wished’ with a kiss upon her thigh, working to ensure that she understood the offer he was making. “What do you say to that?” He would ask once the last kiss was placed. He rested his thumbs beneath the fabric of her panties now, ready to pull them down and toss them aside.

Cho was forcing herself to take deep breaths, to calm her nerves. Which it was working, she didn’t feel as nervous as she did and a lot of her shaking stopped. She wanted to get out of her comfort zone, Valen would definitely be the person to help. Cho would watch Valen carefully, not sure what he would do or ask of her to do. When his hand reached her cheek, she would rise to her feet. A light pink color dusting her cheeks after he’d called her flawless and stunning.

His skin was so hot to the touch, her heart skipped a beat. With little hesitation, Cho returned the kiss that he initiated, her eyes closing. With the motion of him unhooking her bra, she would let it slip and fall, exposing her breasts. Goosebumps forming over her body from the slight chill but they quickly dissipated from the heat that radiated off of Valen’s body. When he placed his hands on her hips and lifted her, Cho’s blue eyes widened in surprised before they would shut once more. She knew she wasn’t very heavy, but it still caught her off guard. Instinctively she’d wrap her legs around his waist and her arms around his neck.

When she was pushed onto the bed, she would release her hold around his neck and waist. Cho leaned back, propping herself up with her elbows. However, she'd squeeze his hand tighter and clutch the bedding that lay beneath them in her other hand the moment he began working over her core. As he felt her grip into his hair as he had guided her to do he would feel the tug and her breathless word and continue his efforts. He didn’t speed up or slow down or change anything at all.
