Clan: Tatsuda
Bloodline: Lava (750xp Maxed)

Unique Abilities:
Bury The Earth; Tatsuya’s expertise in his bloodline’s gift has granted him the ability to achieve a higher sense of reflexes. Enabling him to react and counter at a faster rate. It does affect his natural strength however, as he sacrifices power for agility. Tatsuya can increase his Coordination by one tier, but his Strength takes a one tier debuff in the process. 5CP on activation cost.
Royal Guard This!; Tatsuya’s body, while not durable as most anime equivalent characters are, can increase his Constitution by 1 tier. However, this takes a hit on his speed as he will have a hard time moving while this is active. Tatsuya can increase his Constitution by 1 tier, but Tatsuya’s Speed is reduced by 1 tier for the duration. 5CP on activation cost.
Gimme Money; Tatsuya has a crippling debt after taking 100,000 ryo from a noble, and in exchange he’d pay them off somehow for a total of 150,000 ryo. Half of any ryo Tatsuya earns goes to paying off this debt.
Appearance:
Dark, short hair that’s often swept back with gel as Tatsuya prefers to keep his hair away from his eyes. Losing sight of an opponent can be fatal in some cases, so he often applies gel to ensure that it won’t get in his way. Tatsuya possesses a faded stubble that frames his jawline. He sports a pair of piercing amber eyes that seem to tear down the mental barriers. As if he’s assessing everyone around him so to speak.
Often Tatsuya wears functional clothing such as simple shirts, pants, maybe a cloak to keep the rain off from him, etc. When in civilization or when he plans on going out for a drink, Tatsuya often wears stylish clothing with a torn red cloak. The cloak is actually a trademark and a signature design on Tatsuya’s part for it holds the golden symbol of a phoenix rising above the reaching fire. It always appears to be torn on the edges and even tears along the folds.
History:
Tatsuya Tatsuda was a 24-year-old city counsellor who enjoyed chess, golf and painting. He is smart and giving, but can also be very evil and a bit sadistic. Tatsuya doesn’t reveal his true hand to anyone, not even to his own kin. His story was a bit tragic as he naturally grew up in Iwagakure. He was the only child from his parents, however Tatsuya’s mother left when he was young. Leaving his father being the only one to raise him, Tatsuya's father turned to alcohol which eventually led to fits of rage and curses spewing in slurs.
Because of this, Tatsuya spent most of his childhood outside of home, whether it was training, going to school, hanging out with friends, or staying late at school as he enjoyed what little peace he could have. This created further tension between Tatsuya and his father. Eventually, when Tatsuya became a genin of Iwagakure, Tatsuya spent most of his time with his team and going through missions left and right. Just about every day Tatsuya took up a job, no matter how tedious it was. His growth both as a shinobi and as a Tatsuda swelled with progress. Essentially unlocking his clan’s bloodline and then training further until he mastered their techniques.
Tatsuya eventually became engaged with his teammate, Reika Ochiro, and when they were having a child both Tatsuya and Reika stepped down from the military and took up desk work instead. Tatsuya became a desk receptionist initially and then worked his way up throughout the years into becoming a counsellor. Reika became a doctor as Ijutsu was always her specialty, and both were progressing well behind the scenes in their own ways. Even after their son was born, both Tatsuya and Reika stayed with their jobs as at the time Iwagakure was stretched thin in all resources and while Tatsuya handled the people’s mental states. Reika handled the medical issues that arose over the years.
However, one fateful day, when Konoha launched an attack on Meijing City. Both Tatsuya, his wife and child evacuated to what they believed was a safe distance. However, in a flash of blinding light, both Tatsuya’s wife and son were reduced to soulless husks whereas Tatsuya was only inches from suffering their own fate. However, in truth Tatsuya wished he could join them, or at least have the opportunity to spend one more day with them. This turned his once kind heart into a bitter, seething heart. The kind that festered and boiled with rage under the calm surface as Tatsuya’s rage was directed towards the whole conflict.
Tatsuya left Iwagakure for a while, claiming he was attempting to quell his grief in order to be in working order. However this was a front as he privately trained further into his techniques and refined his rusty skills. Essentially getting back into the swing of things so to speak for half a year, before Tatsuya made his way back to Iwagakure.
Personality:
As noted before, Tatsuya is practically a jaded soul compared to how he was before. Tatsuya is a sharp, calculated individual with a flexible mind when it comes to tackling problems. He doesn’t claim to be a genius, rather he plays the fool card and never reveals what he has up his sleeves. Instead he’ll leave breadcrumbs to deter people from finding out his true objective. However, make no mistake that Tatsuya has a craving for combat. To him, fighting reveals the truth, especially if they’re fighting to the death so to speak. This factor actually makes him out to be a dangerous individual as hatred is his spear that only seems to fester as time progresses.
It should be noted that Tatsuya holds a distinct hatred towards Sages and Bijuu. Not in the way like they’re responsible for killing his family, but rather they are sources of power and they’re either used for personal benefits or collecting dust in some seal while the world continues to burn. That being said, Tatsuya also hates Jinchuriki by association of being the host of power. He doesn’t view bijuu as individual creatures, Tatsuya sees them as monstrous power that only a few have been able to harness correctly. Sage Animals however, Tatsuya views them in the same way as bijuu. A source of power that remains to be picky or isolated to a singular person. At the same time, Tatsuya views these impressive beings as a testament of growth. To determine if mankind can defeat a demon or a sage without any of their kin’s assistance.
Outside of fighting, Tatsuya’s anger doesn’t come up often, but sensitive topics might cause it to slip. He’s pretty blunt with his words, and tends to figure out a person to learn how they work, and what makes them tick. Is there a nice version of him? Certainly, with booze on hand he’s actually a bit quiet, however sometimes his anger causes him to lash out. In which case he’ll actually pick fights with other shinobi regardless of rank, Tatsuya would even challenge a kage, just for the sake of testing if he can win or not. This arrogance has gotten him into a lot of trouble in the past, but the simplicity of his reasons sometimes makes it hard to stay angry at him.
Can anything quell his raging heart? That’s not an easy question to answer. So long as he remembers his family’s deaths, that pain will turn to hatred and that hatred burns like a raging forest fire that stretches as far as the eye can see.
