Unique Abilities:
Experienced Kunoichi - Akeno has undergone many missions and has earned her right to attain the Jounin rank. Due to her experience, she gains a +1,800 XP which puts her at 4,800 XP total. However, there is only so much Akeno can learn once she has reached at this point of her life. When Akeno gains XP from any source Akeno must pay half of that amount to the XP Debt she owes. If it becomes an odd number such as 32.5 from a 65 total yield then it’ll settle for just 32.
Smolder - Akeno has a unique ability when it comes to her bloodline. Each time she uses Lava Release techniques it is more powerful than normal. This change probably wouldn’t be noticed by anyone unless they compare her bloodline with another lava user. A change can occur whether it produces higher temperatures than normal or the sheer size is a tad bigger. Mechanics wise Akeno’s Smolder increases the Lava technique by 1 tier without paying the extra cost. In exchange, Akeno pays a tier higher than normal cost when it comes to Fuuinjutsu.
Rising from Ashes - Once Akeno’s stamina is brought down to 10 points this ability triggers only once per thread. The restoration mechanics is simple since Akeno recovers 25% of her maximum stamina pool. So if Akeno has a maximum of 40 then Akeno would recover +10 stamina for example. The drawback is that Akeno’s speed is reduced by 1 tier as she becomes slower than normal.
Appearance:
Focusing on her facial features Akeno has high cheekbones and her jawline is set into an angular. Akeno’s cheeks however, are soft and provide enough muscle to soften her face. In short the skin on her face is like looking at porcelain since it is practically flawless. Her eyes are almond shaped as her iris possess the liquid gold with faint traces of silver in them. Akeno’s enchanting vision is especially highlighted when near fire or matching colors of fire for it seems like the gold flickers in the light. Giving what is mistaken to be a glow, but really her eyes just reflect the red/yellow/orange colors into a mixture of a golden hue.
Body shape wise Akeno has more of a slender form. Akeno is five foot ten inches tall and as for weight… Well a lady never really tells, but she only weighs 153 pounds. The length of her arms are about the same, but her left arm is couple of centimeters longer than her right. Akeno’s are small yet delicate and she doesn’t really have a dominant hand. As for her legs, well to say the least Akeno has long legs which makes up for her height. Akeno’s chest is at the C cup area.
Special characteristics aside from her seemingly porcelain body is perhaps what is on her back. It is a large majestic tattoo as it is mixed with black and fiery red colors. The ink takes on the form of an avian with long, multiple tail feathers that trails behind it. The avian is indeed a phoenix in black ink with fiery red flame-like ink shrouding the tail feathers and around the edges of the extended wings. Akeno always take pride in this art since she always based herself around the phoenix concept. After all she wouldn’t have come this far without taking on some form of concept.
Akeno’s garments vary from day to day. Some are similar to each other depending on the purpose behind them. When it comes to shinobi duties Akeno is always garbed for functionality. Off duty though, it really depends on what it is for. If she’s just lounging around in her apartment then Akeno is more than likely to be garbed in something light and comfy. Company is expected or even unexpectedly is approaching then Akeno will be garbed based on the weather. Akeno has various tastes in design of fashion, but it really depends on her mood if she changes her style or not.
History:
Akeno Tatsuda, a woman with a gift both bloodline and ability alike. Originating a family of nobility in Iwagakure, Akeno was raised to understand political standings and learn more about her own power. As head of her own clan, a lot is expected from her and her career as a kunoichi has been outstanding thus far. However Akeno would be the first to tell anyone who believes she got to her position due to privilege in nobility that Akeno fought tooth and nail for years. Through a mixture of missions and training of various sorts Akeno has obtained enough experience that would last anyone a lifetime of retirement.
It is said that Akeno is probably the most gifted in her bloodline since even the basic techniques seem to be more powerful than normal. Though this did not exactly surface until around the ending days of her being a Genin. Akeno was under the supervision of a jounin named Morisama Okitake, and she was on a team of two others. Mizuki Haromo, a genjutsu and craftsman of Iwagakure; Chikaru Lionguard, a taijutsu and bukijutsu user. These two are her teammates and both are still alive.
During the chunin exams a few years ago, Morisama’s team really stood out all the way to the end. Challenging the tests were, but together Akeno and the other two blew through the writing exam and survival exam. When it came to the matches however, Akeno was the last one to make it through to the semi-finals. Chikaru lost after 2 matches of consecutive successes, and Mizuki lost during the first match. Meanwhile Akeno defeated one after the other until she reaches the semi-finals.
Her opponent was named Garuda Yuki and it was a fierce match. Trading blows after blows yet never getting a direct hit with each other. Magma and ice scattered throughout the field as Akeno would shatter the defenses and raise volcanic glass from the impact. Garuda would hurl ice senbons at Akeno’s vulnerable points while weaving through one ice mirror to the next. Heat was intense as Akeno melts the ice near her, and various other extraordinary techniques were executed in their wake. That is until Akeno final struck as she sent the multiple clusters of volcanic glass to break apart and hurl the crude jagged rocks in form of dozens at Garuda from all directions. Shielded by ice Garuda was, but Akeno busted that ice cage wide open before sending dozens of volcanic shards to deal both damage and pin Garuda to the ground.
Akeno officially won that fight, but she never completed the finals. It was a match with an Uchiha, and despite the genjutsu she was placed under Akeno saw through it. In short Akeno gave the Uchiha a run for his ryo as she wouldn’t let him get close to him without being shredded by volcanic glass or blasted by molten rock. Yet for some strange reason Akeno forfeit the match and confused everybody in the stadium. But later Akeno was interviewed for the truth of her decision. Akeno spoke of how shinobi should learn when to fight and when to retreat. Whether it is buying time for your village to evacuate or serving as a mere distraction. For victory comes in all forms and sizes. So despite her lost Akeno was promoted to Chunin at the age of 14.
With Akeno being chunin, she began to train and dwell into the more advanced techniques. Which is normal when a shinobi is granted access to expand their abilities, and by the end of her chunin years Akeno was becoming more powerful as she learns more of her capabilities. Taking missions left and right never really slowing down as she sought to better Iwagakure while improving herself. Taking on a couple of B-ranked missions with her team without their sensei tagging along either. Where Akeno displayed acts of leadership as she gives commands and executes orders as fluid and swift as water. Never really failing a mission even when she is on command, and the missions that are considered to be a failure is because something interfere with the original mission that Akeno judged to be more than they could handle. Where she issued a retreat to report the disturbance so someone else who is both more experienced and more powerful to deal with it.
By the time Akeno turned 17 she was promoted to Jounin in Iwagakure due to her potential leadership. At the same time she was being groomed into becoming head of her clan that took a whole year of training. So she became head of the Tatsuda family the moment she turned 18. Akeno still went on a few missions, though majority of them were B-ranked and even A-ranked. However the frequency dropped from often to frequent when she takes on missions for Akeno settled down. Additionally Morisama fell ill from some disease, and so Akeno specifically took on missions that would help provide medical supplies or snag a specific material in hopes it would cure her teacher.
Much to Akeno’s efforts to save Morisama’s life it was proven to be in vain as eventually her sensei succumbed to the eternal sleep. Akeno was hurt emotionally as well as Chikaru and Mizuki upon their loss. The team didn’t break apart as Akeno held it together, but she spent most of her time becoming a figure of importance in a political view. Creating her own standing as she turns her ordinary family into a clan of Iwagakure. Potentially restoring her clan to its former glory when Suchi Tatsuda created the family to begin with. However, when the plague came over the village and were forced to leave with the refugees. In a sense Akeno lost everything except for her bloodline and her shinobi rank.
She served the Iwagakure as Jounin for officially six years, and five years Akeno spent on rebuilding her clan from the ground up. Majority of it was washed away from the plague as Akeno migrated over to Konohagakure. In all accounts Akeno is grateful that Konoha was willing to accept the refugees on such short notice, and so far she’s been showing it by helping with performing missions regarding of guard duty and even escorting important cargo of resources. Of course Mizuki and Chikaru has been aiding Akeno during her missions that warrant extreme caution. Hopefully Iwagakure can be restored, but if not then Akeno hopes to at least establish good connections with people in Konoha.
Personality:
Overall Akeno is patient as she is observant of anyone she’s conversing with. By default Akeno has a professional, polite tone in her voice and generally keeps the conversations on business when she’s on duty. Depending on the individual she speaks to, Akeno will become softer in her words if she feels welcomed or become sharp with insults if she feels threatened. Underneath her professional persona is a soft and caring lady who looks after her friends and family. Akeno is more of a dog person as she prefers dogs over other creatures.
When it is called for Akeno can be very persuasive as quickly as she can be intimidating. Just as she can assume the authority of a leader as easily as she can step down from it. It is perhaps a feat of itself and allows versatility in negotiations. Seduction isn’t her preferred approach, but she’s not incapable of being flirty when she wants to be. If Akeno can help it she tries to be fair and true to her word. However she might bend the truth a little to either avoid trouble or convince somebody for her benefit.

The familiar sounds of bird chirping early in the morning woken up the young boy from his slumber. Rin opened his eyes as darkness was all he could see in this small room. His mind and body was so sleepy and sore. The boy even thought about sleeping an extra few minutes or maybe even an hour. Rin didn’t have anything planned for today since there was no training session with Tsuyo, no errands to run for Hitsuro, and as far as he is aware nothing his clan wants from him. At this point Rin had forsaken any training sessions with the other Uchiha and even refuses to train with his brethren except for his mother.
Rin rolled over on his other side and faced another wooden wall in the darkness. His dark locks was in a mess as he had just woken up. The boy was only dressed in a pair of shorts as it reveals the scar tissue on his chest and even on his arms. Some were inflicted by himself during training, others were results from the Uchiha’s form of training. Rin ends up closing his green flaked eyes as his mind tunes everything out.
Just when Rin reached the end to slumber, he is roughly woken up by something cold, hard, and sharp lightly jabbing him at his lower back. Rin is quickly woken up with memories of trauma streaming through the surface of his mind as instinct kicks in. The boy suddenly flung his blanket up as he quickly pushed himself up with an added twist. Where he hurls a fist to strike the blanket and whatever was behind it. A low whistle could be heard as Rin only felt the blanket wrapping around his arm. Before he knew it a strong tug downward was enough to flip the boy off his feet and slam his back against the wall.
“Seems like i’ve got a fiesty one over here. A bit rough if i don’t mind saying so myself, but an understanding reaction when being jabbed with something sharp.” A male voice that he doesn’t recognized as Rin is more or less permitted to fall towards the ground. A thud can be heard when doing so as the kid grunts before the blanket falls onto his face in particular. “Are you sure that you can handle him?” Now that voice Rin recognizes, and that voice belongs to his mother Maiori Uchiha. The male voice scoffs at the question. “Miss, this sort of thing is common with anyone. He may not be able to do our normal ninjutsu, and his hand to hand technique needs some work. However, you mentioned that he seems to behave differently when using blades correct?”
There was no verbal confirmation as Rin moved the blanket to uncover his face. A dim ray of light streams into the room that reveals the bedroll on the floor that is honestly just bundles of blankets. The only thing that is present in his room is the small dresser that simply has some armor pieces on top with a sheathed katana. Standing over him was a man that only has one eye, as the other is covered with a patch. He doesn’t have the normal shinobi gear as he seems to be wearing a green yamaka. In his hand is a rather wicked looking katana for the edge seems to be nicked and bitten into with some greater metal. Yet even in this light Rin can still see the edge has a keen to it.
“Come on kid. It’s about time you get taught some real swordsmanship.” Was this man a barbarian or does he simply not care that he indirectly called their form of swordsmanship fake? Well Rin will admit that most Uchiha actually don’t specifically used swords, and even fewer were heard of in the Konoha itself. Rin was confused and still a bit groggy from being woken up of his slumber. Regardless Rin dons his clothing not minding that his mother and this man was standing in his room. He made sure to equip the steel arm guards over his bare skin and leather shin guards over his slacks. Then he reached for his katana until Maiori spoke up.
“Don’t you think it is a bit too early for him to use metal swords? Couldn’t you start with wooden ones?” The man shrugged his shoulders as he held that confident-borderline-arrogance air about him. “Are you telling me to train a kid into a kid or training a kid into a young man? Wooden swords are usually weak against other blades to begin with, and your boy seems to already own his piece. So there’s no point to restrict him.” Rin didn’t move a muscle as those eyes look at the corner of his vision at his mother. She was reluctant, but Maiori gave a nod and it was only then that Rin wrapped his fingers around the scabbard.
With Maiori’s recommendation, Rin and this man who now sheathed his weapon traveled from the estate into the biggest training grounds the village has to offer. The woman also followed behind them as she wanted to make sure that Rin doesn’t get hurt too badly. It was early in the morning as the sun was barely over the horizon. Rin was completely waking up as the bitter cold air wraps around him that brings the bumps along his skin. To be honest the genin didn’t know what was really happening other than it is possible he just got himself a new teacher on top of the other ones.
“The name is Koyasu Shinsaku kid, and i hear that you’re having some trouble finding what you’re good at.” One-eyed guy introduced himself and practically nailed it on a hammer so to speak. Rin didn’t really respond verbally nor give off much recognition in that aspect. Koyasu glances over at Maiori with a concerned look, but it doesn’t appear that Maiori knows what is up with Rin. By now they had come upon the center of the training grounds. In which case Koyasu cleared his throat as he attempts this again.
“I’ll be teaching you the most basic use of the sword and work on your footwork. Eventually once you get comfortable we’ll get to actual fighting.” Rin gave a nod in agreement as Maiori stood roughly twenty meters away. “Rin Uchiha.” The boy was brief, but at least he said something and that was enough for Koyasu. Both drew out their blades and what Koyasu said was true. The stance that Koyasu altered Rin into was simple and efficient. How to swing the sword in a variety of ways and how to defend against attacks. It didn’t take Rin long before he figured out that it was more speed and coordination oriented than anything else.
