    Description: Heat Shimmer is a kenjutsu attack utilizing the Fisei’s clan's capabilities with fire chakra. It’s purely a visual effect due to the heat radiating off the user and the blade. This visual effect is effectively a mirage that is caused when looking at something through heated air. What this visual effect does is cause the user and their sword to appear as if they are further away than they actually are. This causes those looking at the user to see them as if they are actually five meters farther back than they otherwise are. In order to distinguish the truth of the matter one must have a perception stat (total not base) higher than this technique's power.

    Weaknesses: The trick to this technique is simply the fact that it uses a normal occurrence in the world to the user's advantage. As such this technique would only work a few times at best before someone realized what one was doing and thus completely counteract it. Combined with the limited range in which this technique would be applicable (The five meter area around the user that appears off) and you get a technique that while a neat trick, is fairly easily countered. Chakra vision would also see straight through the technique as would any form of sensory as they would see exactly where the user and thus the attack, actually is.

    Description: While utilizing Wreathed In Fire the user swings their blade in a wide arc while the weapon is engulfed in flames. The point of this technique however is not to hit the opponent with the swing. As a matter of fact this technique works better if the user is at a distance. Blooming Flowers actual power is the thermal bloom behind the swing. Once the weapon is swung said thermal bloom will launch outward, causing a vicious, 3 meter tall, heat wave to radiate outward from the user. Said heat wave expands out in a wide arc from the user, reaching out to 50m away. The trick with heat is that unlike fire, it’s much more difficult to see, visible as a heat haze which treats an opponents perception as being reduced by 1 tier- (1 tier and one disadvantage) for the purposes of tracking the wave. Chakra vision and sensory of course can see and sense the chakra latent within the arc respectively. If struck those afflicted will take A rank fire damage. Furthermore, Wreathed In Fire is forcefully deactivated once swung in such a way due to the heat energy from the blade going to power the Thermal Bloom.

    Weaknesses: Besides the exorbitant chakra cost found in having to pay for not one, but two techniques. The user has to reapply the base technique afterwards due to the forceful deactivation. Not only that but the user does in fact have to complete a ‘wide’ swing. With the full length of their arm, in order to launch the bloom outward far enough. For the sake of simplicity, if the swing is stopped in any way, the thermal bloom doesn’t just not reach it’s full range. But will completely fail to launch.

    Description: Wreathed In Fire is a technique utilized by the Fisei Clan that is effectively an alternate version to the parent technique. Where in Chakra Flow the blade of the user would be engulfed in flames of B rank and have the weapons abilities increased. This technique instead eschews the stat increase on the weapon and focuses more on the fire. This causes the fire to be hotter than the parent technique as it’s the sole focus of the technique. Furthermore, the intensity of the flames causes the effective ‘tip’ of the weapon to be a meter out further from the end of the blade than normal. This effectively gives the users weapon a meter of length to it’s reach. Of course that length is purely fire and as such will cut/burn with the technique's power.

    Description: ‘Brilliance’ is a Kenjutsu technique that utilizes the ‘Wreathed in Fire’ technique and minimizes it to a startling degree while gaining a new benefit altogether. The user uses the theory of ‘Wreathed in Fire’ (and thus chakra flow) to channel Katon chakra into their weapon at an incredible rate which increases the heat of the edge. This will cause the blade of the weapon to light up with a brilliant glow that is intensely hot to the touch. When struck by the weapon they will not only deal with the damage from the weapon itself but take fire damage equivalent to this technique's power from the same strike. Furthermore the brilliantly hot blade causes spots to appear in one's vision and will degrade the perception of those who see it by -- (Two disadvantages).
    Weaknesses: Less of a weakness and more of a confirmed difference between this tech and normal chakra flow and ‘Wreathed in Fire’. This technique has no fire coming off of the blade increasing it’s reach or general range of striking. As such the striking area is still limited to just the weapon itself.

    Description: Flash of Brilliance must be used while ‘Brilliance’ is active on the user's weapon. This will, for a brief moment, cause the already brightly lit weapon of the user to flash a blinding light that will cause the eyesight of those looking toward it within technique range to be blinded. This will not increase the perception debuff of the previous technique but will temporarily (2 posts) remove their ability to see altogether. Should the modified constitution stat of those affected by higher than jutsu power they will be able to resist the brilliant flash of light.

    Weaknesses: Requires ‘Hi no Hana: Brilliance’ to be active to even utilize, increasing the overall chakra cost of the combination.

Furthermore the brilliantly hot blade causes spots to appear in one's vision and will degrade the perception of those who see it by -- (Two disadvantages).
    Weaknesses: Less of a weakness and more of a confirmed difference between this tech and normal chakra flow and ‘Wreathed in Fire’. This technique has no fire coming off of the blade increasing it’s reach or general range of striking. As such the striking area is still limited to just the weapon itself.

It is also specifically designed to make things as difficult as possible for those without certain capabilities caught within its confines. First, the jutsu emanates out from the user as a wave of heat at jutsu speed. This wave will not in fact have any power behind it. However once it reaches 50m, or for clarity's sake, 25m in every direction from the user. The ‘heat’ will rise and become a ring of fire that is 30m high from the surface it is set upon. This fire will even set water aflame, although of course if a water jutsu or equal or greater power comes into conflict with the fire it will put out the flames.

    Those caught within the Cage will find the area within it getting increasingly hot as they are stuck within it. Any who try to move through the flames will take jutsu power fire damage. Those who remain within the cage will find themselves having the very power sapped from their muscles as they find themselves becoming sluggish and have difficulty moving. Those within the ring will have their coordination debuffed by 1 tier and 2 disadvantages. Effectively reducing their capability to react to what is around them and the speed at which they do so.

    Weaknesses: Those who have a fire ‘affinity’ that is, the specific attunement one can have when gaining the ninjutsu skill assigned to fire. Will find the debuff portion of this technique completely and utterly ineffective against them. As their body is used to having the heat of fire around it and is able to resist the effects of the debuff. Of course they’ll still take the fire damage if they come into contact with the fire. Those with modified S rank constitution will also find themselves unaffected by this technique.
