    Sharingan & Techniques

    Three Tomoe Sharingan
    Maigo's Jutsu [悪夢 ~ Akumu] 1365577

    The penultimate form of the Sharingan is Tomoe Three, commonly considered the final step in an Uchiha's maturity. Those with Tomoe Three unlocked are the ones known and feared in battle, rivaled by few and envied by many. It adds the final building block to the Sharingan's arsenal: the infamous Genjutsu: Sharingan technique. Additionally, chakra can now be seen through small barriers, such as the human body or most obstructions not particularly thick, as well as being able to distinguish most chakra constructs. The eye of insight, as it's commonly known, heightens to the point of capturing all movements up to one tier of Perception higher. This insight even affords an unnatural prediction ability: the Sharingan is capable of detecting even the smallest muscle movements within its Perception range and determine precisely what the target is about to do, allowing the user to react accordingly. 1000 Experience is the cost of progression. Most will find that it is well worth the price.

    Description: A very simple technique, this technique's effect becomes apparent only when the user attempts a Kenjutsu melee attack against the target (can be stacked with other Kenjutsu techniques). Should the user make sight of the caster weaving their hand signs or making their attack the illusion will take hold in their vision. The jutsu makes it appear to the target's sight that the user is aiming their attack somewhere else, in essence, they could make a stab aimed for the target's stomach appear as if it were coming for their shoulder. This facade is easily spoiled once the caster completes his attack as the target can easily see that their attack did not land where it appeared to be going and/or they did not feel the pain of the strike in the proper location. Should the strike land, the pain of the cut/stab would immediately dispel the jutsu.
    Weaknesses: This technique has one weakness in that it casts upon all who are effected by the trigger. In this instance, allies trying to counter or continue an attack based off of Maigo's attack will struggle to be able to do so.

    Description:A technique with little combat-strategical use, but requires the use of at least a Three Tomoe Sharingan. Genjutsu: Otohime allows its caster to relay their own memories to the target. It is also an Illusion Technique which manipulates the target and user's sense of time, being that any interaction within the genjutsu lasts not even a fraction of a second; thus it has little use in paralyzing, shocking, or otherwise affecting the target, unless the information given via this Genjutsu has an IC emotional or similar effect on them; even then, the reaction is up to the roleplayer. In order to cast the technique, the user simply needs to sight their target within range and speak the word, "Understand" directly to them while holding the Bird hand sign. Alternatively, this technique can be cast simply using eye contact as many Sharingan Genjutsu can be done.

    While this technique can control the five senses, any preternatural or chakra-based ones, as well as the sense of time and direction, the caster also has free reign to simply talk with the target in the 'mental realm' created, relaying an amount of information that would be impossible to convey in the minuscule amount of time the genjutsu actually elapses in the real world.

    This technique also allows the Sharingan-user to insert themselves into others' Genjutsu without falling under it themselves, alerting the victim to the presence of an illusion if they did not know so already. In addition, both the user and the Genjutsu victim can use Kai while this technique is in place at half the normal cost. A C-rank or lower Genjutsu can be dispelled by this technique alone, not requiring Kai.
    Weaknesses: The weakness in this jutsu comes from information overload. Having an entire conversation in the timespan of a second can be quite taxing on the caster and who they choose to interact with. The same goes for creating the illusory world and imparting memories to someone else. As well, painful memories being drug up or switching between entirely different locations can be severely jarring for those not used to this and as such, this technique is deemed a mostly non-combat use and should only be used to interact with an enemy before any such fighting begins.

    Description: The Art of the Wilting Fern encompasses Maigo's hand to hand combat strategy by layering in a passively activating genjutsu into his combat. Taking advantage of the fact that genjutsu must have a trigger and a sword in itself provides many applicable inputs through the course of any interaction. A glint of light off the blade striking the enemies eyes, the clang of metal against another substance, the vibration in someone's hands as the sword strikes their weapon/item, even the pain of being cut or stabbed by the blade. All of these and more are applicable triggers for this technique while every time something that could be counted as a trigger (light or image reflecting off the blade, the blade hitting a person or hitting things on their person, the sound of the blade being struck or striking something, the smell of blood on the blade of the sword, or the taste of the sword? if applicable...) is instantiated the genjutsu is re-cast for anyone who is within 15 meters as long as Maigo maintains this jutsu, regardless of whether they used Kai to break out of it previously (ending in them paying the CP cost to break the illusion again if they desired).

    The genjutsu component of this technique creates afterimages and foreimages of Maigo's arm and weapon when striking at an enemy. Changing frequently and often, sometimes a swing will show three blurred images of Maigo's sword cutting down at them at different angles and towards different places. Another stab may have 5 swords striking towards different areas of the targets body. In the end, up to 5 images can be created in any one action. At the same time, this prevents someone from being able to pick out what Maigo is actually doing in any given situation and additionally, they gain a - to both their speed and perception while trying to react to Maigo's sword or Kenjutsu techniques until this genjutsu is completely dispelled.
    Weaknesses: This technique is rather indiscriminate in who becomes effected by the illusion, as such, it can make it incredibly difficult if Maigo is fighting alongside allies and they are unable to know where he is actually striking or to join in the fight with the afterimages being created. Additionally, the caster of this technique must be able to concentrate on its casting and as such, needs at least C-rank Coordination or any action outside this technique (casting other jutsu, talking, being hit by an attack, etc...) will cause it to disperse automatically.

    Deceitful Clone:

    Description:This jutsu lets the user to replace his presence on the battlefield with that of a clones. It is cast by weaving the signs and can be cast on any number of people that Maigo chooses within 20 meters so long as they hear the word Kurōn uttered in some form. This jutsu starts out by replacing the users appearance on the field (as is) with a clone. The jutsu does not restrict the opponents movement at all, but inhibits their ability to detect the user via sight and sound inhibition/replacement. The illusion creates a clone of the user that moves at the will of the user and if it should be hit a jutsu it will be momentarily affected by the hit before reforming somewhere within 5 meters away from where the clone was destroyed.

    The clone can use attacks with any items that were already on their person or jutsu the user knows, but since it is an illusion any damage will only affect them as long as they are in the genjutsu world, once released any 'damage' or 'pain' inflicted/felt will undo. Only one clone can be created in the illusion and it can only move up to 50 meters away from the users real body but the user is not restricted from moving during the jutsu.
    Weaknesses:The real danger of this technique is that the clone can only move up to 50 meters away from Maigo, leaving large scale AOE attacks dangerous to him as well as once the illusion is discovered, he can be forced out by other means aside from Sight and Sound.

    Description: This technique is a simple one, relying on the advanced predictive abilities of the Three-Tomoe Sharingan to follow the movements of his opponents. When stuck within a Taijutsu or Weapon Skill combination of any kind, granted that Maigo has a similar or better Coordination than his opponent(s), he can use the same method as the Copy Wheel to match their combo and disrupt it completely by either countering/dodging each blow or matching each strike with a block from his own weapon in a similar fashion (blocking a strike with his sword, stopping a kick with his hilt, etc...). This effectively allows him to nullify any combination technique(s) completely and any series of chakra-enhanced combos up to C-rank outright.
    Weaknesses: This technique is slightly risky in that it relies on Maigo having a better coordination or matching his opponent exactly in order to keep up. If he is unable to, a one tier deficit in coordination means that Maigo will only be able to keep up by having a one tier advantage in speed or perception to make up the difference. If both his speed and perception cannot make up this deficit between Maigo and his opponent then this technique would have little to no effect and he would be unable to react in time to the incoming attacks.
