Wolf in the Woods

A deep sigh passed the young wolf-like woman's lips as she took a walk through the forest within the Second Training grounds. She was approaching a clearing, a place she intended to practice some jutsu in, some things she knew but maybe could use a refresher on, some new all together. The woman entered the clearing in the woods and looked around. No one was there...perfect! Tsukiyo nodded when she felt she was secluded and would form a single handed tiger seal--in a poof of smoke a Shadow clone appeared beside her...and it instantly slumped over, a deformed mess. Tsukiyo glared at the failed clone and kicked it, making it poof and returning her chakra back to her.

"Okay....been a while I guess...damn." she muttered to herself in annoyance, before the woman would try once more--this time focusing a hint on the task rather then lazily trying it. This time a perfect Shadow Clone appeared beside her, giving the original a smirk in her success.

Tsukiyo cast a glare to her smirking clone, before the two nodded to each other. The clone walked off a bit of a distance, and would turn about on her heel to face the real Tsukiyo. They had about ten meters between them now, a short distance in some ways, but enough space that the two wasn't in each other's face. The clone would mold her chakra within herself, knowing what the original wanted of her, taking a moment to prepare a jutsu. At the same time the real Tsukiyo looked at her clone's hand, intentionally letting herself be trapped by the coming Genjutsu. In a mist like effect the clone disappeared from view, Tree Binding Death being activated.

The real Tsukiyo held her hands up into a seal, and would use her chakra to interrupt the Genjutsu, using Genjutsu Kai--or simple 'release'--to dispel the Genjutsu she knew she was in. The woman would see her clone appear before her, having moved only a few meters closer to the original, right at the edge of where the real Tsukiyo would've been captured by the jutsu. She nodded to herself and sighed quietly. Another she hadn't used in...well, forever.

Now...for something new. The woman rummaged into her top and would retrieve an item. This item...it was a flute. Tsukiyo would sigh in annoyance...this is why she wanted to be alone--she was a bit self conscious about playing the flute. But this was for a jutsu. She would glare up to her clone and a sinister smirk crossed Tsukiyo's features, the woman bringing the flute to her lips and stringing her fingers along the length of the instrument, laced in a pattern of covering some holes while others was left open, the girl breathing in through her nose before focusing on emitting her chakra while playing the flute, her breath smoothly pushed through the instrument and creating a haunting tune.

The clone almost instantly found herself caught by the sound, the speed of the jutsu with the clone only six meters away made it basically an instant trap. Upon hearing this demonic song, the woman was bound, arms pulled out and up to the side as if held by ropes tied about her wrists, holding her up but keeping her completely immobile as long as the real Tsukiyo kept playing this chilling ballad. The clone entered a world of chaos, plagued by visions of darkness and blood, sounds of whispers and chants creeping into the ears as the clone's eyes went wide, before shutting, trying to shut out these illusions. It didn't work, she could still see it all.

The clone's arm seemed to begin melting, and the artificial pain of this caused her to let out a blood curdling scream. The real Tsukiyo winced as this pierced her ear but kept focused on playing, glaring at the clone--completely at her mercy. She kept this up for a bit before finally releasing the jutsu by ceasing to play the haunting tale on her flute, letting the clone's arms drop--this Tsukiyo falling to the ground taking sharp breathes, mentally strained by the jutsu. She glared back up at the real one, cheek markings ablazed red with anger...before the clone simply disappeared, releasing itself. This let its experience flood the real Tsukiyo, hitting her with some level of shock, causing the woman to stumble back and nearly fall over as she caught herself against a tree, eyes shut trying to block out what she had put her clone through. She'd take some deep breaths before regaining her composure, pushing off the tree to stand upright...this was enough for tonight, the girl, shaking her head and placing her flute back within her top, turning on a heel and heading out. She'd have to make more use of this flute in the future.
