--A Flawless Mind: Due to spending years making great use of her mind, studying, training, she has pushed her brain power to its limits, and it has rewarded her for it. Having exercised her brain like one would a muscle, it has given her a deeper understanding of the world she inhabits, as well as her own body. Tsukiyo gains a passive ++ to her Int, and + to her Con, her strong mind having a nigh equally strong will to live, and giving her the knowledge to better her life force. (Flawless UA.)
--One with Nature: Tsukiyo has a natural connection to the world around her and the animals that inhabit it. Due to her high intelligence and being 'One' with Nature itself, she has gained an understanding of how to communicate with the animals she is closest to. Tsukiyo can communicate with and vaguely understand specifically Wolves and Hawks. To do this she must enter a state that brings her closer to nature, and while within this state that allows her to communicate with Wolves and Hawks, she is unable to process and understand human language until she comes out of this state.
--Wolves Fangs: One of her two 'mutations', Tsu has 'fangs', her Canine Teeth extended to triple normal length and very sharp. This gives her no real advantage, minus maybe a more painful bite if she happened to do such an action. (Cosmetic)
--Unique Markings: While giving no effect, Tsukiyo's markings on her cheeks are effected by her mood, and shift between Blue and Red depending on her emotional state. (Cosmetic)
Appearance: Tsukiyo stands at only 5'4", with a somewhat curvy build. The young woman was no stick figure, body an hourglass work of art...and art involves curves. Despite her short stature, she stands with great posture and at times seems taller then she really is, her posture giving an essence of class to the woman. She has fair skin, just enough pigment to give a healthy glow, but still fairly pale. The woman's long locks are bright silver, almost white, when loose flowing down to her knees. She usually keeps this in a more tamed style, even still the hair reaches half way down her back. Her eyes, they are a unique shade of red, with a hint of pink in them--sharp and vigilant, while cold in their nature.
Upon her cheeks are special markings, these are not makeup--but in fact a part of her. These two markings on her cheeks could be a good indicator of the sort of mood Tsukiyo is in, as they shift colors depending on it. She is able to suppress this with self control, but typically, the markings are blue when she is calm, content, carefree, generally 'positive' emotional states. They shift to the same color as her eyes, a bright red with pink hints when the woman is annoyed, frustrated, angry, blood lusted, lusty, or deep in thought. Typically coming out with negative emotional states. These markings are not her only oddity, but for sure are the most visible to anyone around her. Less visible, being much easier to hide, the woman has extended canine teeth, much like a Wolves fangs. Normally one wouldn't notice them, unless she speaks or bears them.
The woman seems to enjoy more classy outfits, usually seen in outfits adorned by fur around the cuffs and collar, but is known to mix things up frequently. Her casual outfit typically sees her in netting top, mostly hidden under a long purple dress, wrapped in numerous places with bandages. Her battle outfit could be seen as similar in style, but now she had on a skin tight battle suit under a thick overcoat, again bandages adorning her figure.
History:
Chapter 1 | The Cursed Twins
Tsukiyo didn't have what one would call a normal childhood growing up. Born on a cold and rainy night, gusts howling, Tsukiyo was one of two born on this night, the Cursed Twins given life from a witch in the woods, and quickly outcast for their...unique features. Mutations, rather. Tsukiko was born with markings on her cheeks, and her brother born with Wolf-like ears. Cast aside, the two was left at an orphanage in Konoha, left to the elements by an uncaring mother who shunned her own children for their appearances. The only thing that came with them was a crimson scarf wrapping them, the only gift from their mother, long lost to time.
Despite the odds the newborns would survive the elements, and brought into the orphanage. They'd be given names, Tsukiyo and Tengoku...the last name of Shinku, after the crimson scarf they came in. The two grew up among the other children of the orphanage, but found themselves treated differently then the others. Those running the orphanage was judgemental of their mutations, deeming them freaks, and using the twins for extra chores while the others got to enjoy their freedom. The other kids would typically pick on Tengoku, he was more quiet and timid then his sister, the other kids giving the child issues over his ears.
Tsukiyo was quick to come to her brother's defense, he had it a bit worse then her, she only had the markings on her cheeks--and had grown elongated Canine fangs that she could keep hidden most of the time...but Tengoku couldn't hide his ears. Over time the girl became more and more aggressive, snapping verbally, and sometimes physically with those at the orphanage. Due to her meek physical power, she'd always loose if it got physical--which is usually when Tengoku stepped in, quick to protect his sister from any threats posed by the other kids. They'd be teased...The Cursed Twins, always the outcasts.
Chapter 2 | The Pack
They would continue to watch each others backs growing up, the twin's finding their talents over time, and learning to apply them. A trend formed, whatever one lacked, the other would make up for. Tsukiyo stood as the brains between the duo, her intellect far beyond her peers. She'd put her mind and Tengoku's physical abilities to use, beginning to earn money--to save up. Eventually, they was able to save up enough to get away from the village, escape to a cabin in the woods--and live off the land. The Shinku twins would live a poor lifestyle, but it gave them the peace from others they wished for. Tsukiyo was free to wander the forests at her leisure, spending time in nature, becoming one with it. Tengoku had his own connection with the world to explore. Nature...it seemed to be the only thing the young girl found peace in, found calmness...happiness. It was rare for her to smile...but when deep in the woods, surrounded by wildlife, she felt at home...and it would consistently make her smile.
The two spent years out there, living together, living off the land--her mind put to their needs for survival, while Tengoku provided for them, becoming a formidable hunter. This grew their bond further, 'The Pack' was formed, even if never said out loud. The Shinku twins enjoyed this point in their lives...but they yearned for more. They needed more to their lives...something was missing. Having grown up under such poor conditions, Tsukiyo knew they needed to make a change...she wanted more, more then this hut in the woods. She wanted to know what it was like to be wealthy, to earn a living better then this, to live in a beautiful home away from the world, surrounded by what she felt she deserved.
After years of living in the woods, the twins would move once more, returning to their 'home' of Konohagakure. There, they could eek out the living she envisioned for herself. Her brother, he didn't seem to care for these wants, but he'd follow Tsukiyo to the ends of the earth, and went with her to Konoha. Together, in the village, they could accomplish much more, and progress their skills further...They could grow in power, and make their names known throughout the world.
Chapter 3 | Throw me to the Wolves--Tomorrow I will come back, Leader of the Whole Pack
They made their return to the village, and quickly would prove their skills worthy. The two flew past their peers, being older then your typical academy students, they quickly would rise to the top of their classes, and in no time was given the rank of Genin. Now they stood together, a duo no one could separate, forging their own path to greatness. Tsukiyo dived heavily into her training, she dedicated her mind to bettering herself, and eventually it'll reward her in spades. For now, the Cursed Twins would grow their abilities and strengths...Tsukiyo vowed to claim what she feels is hers, and she'd do everything she can to reach her goals...with, or without, the village's support behind her. As long as her brother stood at her side, she knew they'd succeed.
Personality: Tsukiyo could be called a proud woman, she is confident that most of the time she's the smartest one in the room, and has no issue exuding this confidence. For a woman who grew up as a poor orphan, she is very prideful, like a Wolf, quick to assert her dominance over others from an intellectual standpoint, and turn her nose up to those who she doesn't respect. Respect is important to the woman, without it, you are nothing to her, with it--depending on how much she respects one--she can be quick to aggression in defense of you. Its a very hot and cold reality, with very little in the middle-ground.
Aggression comes naturally to the girl, while she is fully capable of self control and suppressing her emotions, when she lets loose--she does with violence. She is very much an 'Alpha' type, quick to put her wits against anyone who stands opposed to her. Tsukiyo can flip on a dime, from calm, cold, distanced--to full blood lust. She for sure isn't one to disrespect, and by far the last you'd want to cross.
When it comes to those she cares about, she cares deeply. If you are part of her pack, you are hers, and she'll do anything to protect and keep what she considers her's. This is doubly true for her twin brother Tengoku, the woman is extremely protective over her brother, despite him being much more physically capable then her, and able to hold his own without her. You'd almost never know it though, only until its shown will you know how she feels about you, until then she will remain cold and sarcastic, as she is with everyone.
She is fairly quiet, but also not afraid to speak her mind, with no care for who she may be speaking to. One could be the Daimyo of the country, and she'd talk down to them all the same. This doesn't earn her many friends, but some see the value in her attitude, and was drawn towards her. When she speaks, it usually comes in three flavors--sharp wit, sarcasm, or a tone cold enough to send shivers down the most hardened's spines, laced with a Wolves fury.
There is a hidden softer side to Tsu, she does have the ability to care and care deeply for others, if they earn such respect from her. She can be compassionate towards those close to her, but these moments are few and far between. She has a soft spot for nature and animals, clearly favoring animals over humans, treating each and every one of them with gentle kindness...but good luck catching her soft side, as its more rare then a blue moon.
