Azuma awaited an answer, from where he was he wasn't watching Raijin--but he could hear the man's movements. The sound of his mask touching down on the desk, and his voice echoing through the room without the muffle of the mask burned his ears. He mentally sighed at being denied this, he'd spent half his life doing good for this village--for a man who shown up a couple months ago to act as if Azuma hadn't proved himself was frustrating. Azuma would rise from his position, mismatched hues falling on the man behind the desk, amber and white hues meeting with the Bayushi's for a moment before the man had directed his attention to Ei. He'd listen, even if not directed at him.
With the nod, the two would be dismissed, Azuma nodding in return before turning about to head out of the office, the scroll possessing the details of the Mission--and Kirigakure's location--slipped inside of a pocket within his Kimono, kept close--as he'd always do. Upon exiting the office, assuming Ei was next to him in doing so, he'd turn towards her. "Two hours, main gate. Be prepared for anything Ei, its been a while since we've been out of Kaze no Kuni." he say to the young woman, giving her a faint smile after. Even if on duty, he couldn't help but cast her a smile. He'd continue to walk with Ei as they exited the building.
