Things Betwixt (Team K)

During their travels, Team K would discover a rather small outcrop of what appeared to be an abandoned temple. The overgrowth had turned the stone to a jade green color which helped blend in with the environment, but the structure itself was still large enough to be found with minimal effort. The Exam Details mentioned something about relics being found in the jungle. Perhaps this was one of them? Only the curiosity and bravery of Team K would tell...

The forest that surrounded the entrance was thick and hardly let any of the light from the sun, still no where near as dark as the classroom the pair had shared in the written exams. Zen would look to Emiki to ensure that she was not having trouble seeing or moving through the dense forest, he had been moving slowly lightly jumping from branch to branch leaving as little of a trail as he possibly could.

Zen would stop after about thirty minutes, something up ahead caught his attention but from where he was at he could not tell what it was. "Emiki, there is something up ahead. I'm not sensing any chakra, but we should still be careful with our approach."

Emiki looked at the temple and gave a wide grin, "Want me to scout it out? Emiki's a really fast runner, no one but Yoshi can catch me. So ... can Emiki? Emiki'll be finished before you can even get to the front door. What'cha say?"

Emiki would bounce on the balls of her feet in clear anticipation, after all running was what she did best, and this clearly, to her eyes looked like a "imma runnin'" type situation. Of course most situations looked like that to Emiki, it's as the phrase goes, When all you have is a hammer, the entire world looks like a pinata. and everyone knew Pinata's had the best stuff hidden inside them. And if on the off chance she was misremembering that phrase, she liked her's better. After all it had candy in it, and anything with candy was by default 100x better than any boring, non-candy based alternative. That was almost as bad as nor running as fast as she could at a problem. And that was just crazy talk.

Zen would smile at the girls eagerness, despite his mention of possible traps. Though the girl was right, her speed mixed with her ability to walk upon the air might just be their best bet for avoiding such traps. Zen would contemplate the decision for a few moments before he would give an answer, "very well Emiki you can run on ahead, but I want you to be careful. I can keep watch on you with my chakra sense, I will move in closer so that I can react if you need me too. Just get in there and get out, but keep you eye out for anything remember we are looking for something like this." Zen would reach into his pouch and pull out their current relic to ensure the girl remembered what it looked like, before returning it to his pocket and continuing. "Above all else, please be careful there is no way to tell if this place is trapped or not. I can't have you going and getting yourself hurt on our first day." At those words he would begin his own path towards the temple, doing his best to keep his presence hidden. He would allow Emiki to approach on her own but under his watchful eye, if anything this will expose a trap without endangering both of them. He just had to hope that the girls speed was as fast as she said it was so she would be able to get away if she needed too.

Giving an excited squee of unabashed joy, she lept int to air and bolted at A+ speeds into the temple as she did she'd zip around looking for anything shiny, of interest, that chess ... Why are abandoned temples so spooky? Is it because their lonely or is it because Ghost and Ghoulies only like gloomy things ... Oh! Oh! WAIT! If baby ghosts are born from Laugh Oil then do they get shy and gloomy because no one is laughing to give them more brothers and sisters? Emiki shall give them many more siblings so the ghosties don't have to be lonely.

With that Emiki would start laughing up riotously as she ran around the temple. Putting in little focus onto what she was picking up as much as anything that looked interesting or might be right. After all one of these things had to be correct.

Zen could hear the girl's laughter from his vantage point in the trees, even though he could not see inside the temple the girl's laughter echoed from the temple. "well if she's laughing she is obviously not in danger, I just hope she remembers what she's looking for." Zen would begin to regret sending her in alone, he could go in and see if he could help but if he gave up his position and a trap was waiting they would be at a disadvantage. Zen would contemplate the pros and cons of his decision as he continued to hear the girl's laughter, before ending with the decision to trust in the girl. As much as it pained him to trust in someone else, the one thing he learned from the written test was that sometimes as a shinobi they would have to rely on the abilities of others and this was just the opportunity to put such thoughts to practice.

Zen would follow the girls movements with his chakra sense, as she raced from room to room of the temple. Surely she will find the relic, Zen thought to himself as he sat in the tree with his bow at the ready, waiting for something to happen.

Zeke leaped through the trees with haste as he had gotten onto a trail of another team. He said nothing as to not alert the team he was chasing down. Hopefully, his partner was following close behind as he leaped from tree to tree. No telling what kind of team they would be dealing with its just they had a bit of a head start on them from the get-go. As he leaped through the forest he could see a clearing nearby that seemed to have some ruins located within it. There was a boy looking from a vantage point near the tree line. There was a laughter that could be heard echoing from the temple, 'someone had already gone in.' Zeke wasn't sure if he could get the complete jump on the boy sitting on the tree. He reached into his pouch and grabbed three shurikens. He was roughly ten meters away from Zeke. He launched two shurikens at the boys back to get the ball rolling. He continued his pressing advantage to try and entrap the lad on the tree by approaching from his left after launching the two shurikens. He leaped to one tree then pressed forward at his maximum speed by launching off the tree branch. He would be mid-air, roughly five meters from the lad before attacking.

With an open hand, he punched at the air causing an explosion to occur, the explosion would engulf a five-meter wide by ten-meter distant cone directly in front of him covering the boy's location if he didn't move in time. He would have to clear ten meters in an instant to do so. Even if the boy managed to dodge Zeke was still moving towards his direction through the air chase him down through the treetops.

Zenaku followed behind his partner as he started to jump from tree branch to tree branch as they decided to travel though the tree tops. Zenaku was lagging down from his partner speed cause he seemed to be a little faster then his self. As they got further into the woods zenaku caught sight of another shinobi sitting on a tree branch so he stayed out from the enemy and he pulled out 2 sinbone needle's and went to the right side from where his partner was shooting his attacks and he made sure to keep his self 10 meters out and threw out the needles as one air aimed for the ninja's leg and the other one for his right shoulder. He had never been in a real fight before so hopefully nothing bad decides to happen.

Emiki was enjoying herself she'd forgotten the original reason she had been laughing and was now just doing it because it was fun, she was here for a something ... something definitely not food related, since none of the food that was here looked like it was particularly edible ... she had tried to bite something that looked kind of like cheese, but it was as hard as a rock, no wonder it was abandoned. No one could eat rocks ... except maybe giant worms, or rock people. Those things ate rocks right?

So she'd taken the age old saying of "If it's not bolted down", and "this should be what I'm looking for" and was gathering up an assortment of junk, knicknacks, and anything that might be "close enough" and tossing it out the window when she needed to get more free space, she thought Zen might have a pack she could use, lots of knick knacks could be transported in a bag before she dumped it outside.

As she got near, she saw new friends, well not friends, seeing as how one they were trying to play stab tag without her. Which was very rude in her opinion so she decided to announce to the world her opinion at the top of her lungs, [color=teal]"How dare you play Stabby Tag without me you two! That's super rude!"

Dumping her scarf and all the stuff in it out the window, with the Body Flicker Seal sustained, she got her Tanto out, and got ready to go from her air perch to after one of them. She was the Stab Tag champion, she wasn't about to let these two strangers muscle in on her championship title.

Body Flicker and Air Walking A+ Speed.

The presence of the pairs chakra on their approach would be sensed by Zen as soon as they came within 250 meters of him, long before the pair would be able to get near him. The approaching chakra drawing his attention away from the temple and to where it source of this disturbance was coming from. With minimal focus Zen could tell that there was two of them and that they were coming along the same path him and Emiki, despite his efforts it seemed as though other competitors had found their trail. They were closing in fairly fast but with them being 250 meters away when they came into his sensory range the boy had enough time to prepare what he needed to prepare before they arrived. Zen wasted no time allowing the chakra to flow freely through his body, stimulating his muscles to increase his strength. Grabbing a nearby broken tree limb Zen would preform the tiger, boar, ox, dog half-seals in his free hand, this would turn the branch into a Replacement of himself in this position with an illusionary bow in it's hand just for appearances and a preset move that would activate when the time was right. Once the trap was set Zen would move through the brush of the dense forest to a new vantage point well out of sight of those that were approaching, ensuring he left no markings to indicate such movement. With this new vantage point his eyes were set upon his own trap, One arrow with Explosive Tag Attached notched in bow and ready to fire at a seconds notice, with a second Explosive Arrow held lightly in his teeth so that he could quickly notch the second arrow for the second target. Zen debated whether or not he should alert Emiki to the approach of the others, however he quickly decided that her services were best served within that temple, just incase. This would add another layer to his plan, her loud and obnoxiousness might be enough to distract them and keep their attention away from the real boy.


Zen would watch the approach of the mysterious pair, while deep down he hoped they would be peaceful he was well prepared for if they acted hostile. Zen would react swiftly with his bow if need be, in the belief that the commotion that ensued would surely be enough to draw the attention of the girl, and compell her to come to his aid. As soon as the would be attacker launched his shuriken the body replacement would begin to turn towards him, giving the appearance of getting hit by the shuriken before dissipating back into the branch it was, just after the male released his chakra punch at it.


Meanwhile, from his vantage point 50 meters away from where the would-be-attacker was further into the forest brush Zen watched for the perfect time to strike, seeing the male launch the kunai at his image was the sign he waited for. As soon as the male launched the kunai, the first arrow was loosed from Zen's bow aimed at the one who lead the assault. This would result of the arrow reaching the man while he was still in the air. Zen would have the second arrow notched and aimed for the male's partner who was a mere 10 meters away from the first man and had it loosed at the second target before the first arrow had made it to the halfway point. These arrows weren't meant to stab into them, but rather explode right in their face. Just before the first arrow reaches the one who had jumped into the air, the explosive tag attached to it would explode, this would be followed closely by the second explosion mere inches from the second man.


Zen would not stick around for the fireworks however, as soon as the second explosive arrow left his bow the young genin would be on the move. Moving through the dense forest with a finesse, as he snuck to his next location hiden with the woods around the temple to continue to battle the pair. He did not worry about the arrows reaching their destination as he was an experienced Marksman enough to have calculated by the range they were and the speed of his arrow, both of Zen's shots would find their mark before the aggressive pair knew what hit them. Though their target was just an illusion, it was them who had attacked first, he would show no pity.

Zeke noticed the boy turn into a branch but he was already mid air firing off his initial attack at the tree side. An explosion erupted causing the tree where the supposed boy was to be blown away causing a cascade of events. From the distance there was a object moving at increasing speed at him. With a second punch he fired off another explosion causing it to collide with the object setting off a secondary blast that engulfed the projectile traveling behind it. This engulfed a ten meter radius in front of him. This resulted in a third blast. The blast grew to a five meter radius which ate the projectile behind it causing another five meter explosion. Due to the explosions, Zeke was thrown backwards through the air towards a tree located directly behind him.

His surprise attack failed but he wasn't too worried. Mid air he kicked the air behind him causing another explosion to occur to slow his impact onto the tree. He passed through the black smoke that he created from the explosion. His feet slammed into the tree trunk causing it to buckle sightly. Bark splintered and came off as he hit it. With all of his might he pushed off of it in pursuit of the direction of where the arrows came from. No doubt it was the lad he tried to sneak attack from the get go. He launched himself back into the air. This time he used a tree as a form of cover. He needed to gather himself before going on this perilous attack. He climbed up the tree onto a branch with the thick side of the tree covering the direction the arrows came from and a vantage point where he could see someone emerge from the temple. She yelled at the top of her lungs, it seemed infantile. She was still several meters away due to actually being in the temple. But then she seemingly leaped into the air and vanished for a moment. No doubt it was the team mate of the lad. He could see Jin not to far off but they needed to do something about the newcomer. Zeke let out a sigh, 'I rushed things and got us into some trouble.'

Now he needed to keep track of two people, one that moved so quickly that they seemed to blink out of existence. The other a stealth user and could launch explosives from a distance. They could run for the temple but that would put them out in the open. Then again that could be a better plan than playing tag in the forest. They were clearly at a disadvantage here. Zeke watched the area in front of him very closely while keeping his back to the tree.

As zenaku threw the needles he noticed it poofed into a log which meant this ninja was using either replacement jutsu or clone jutsu and it was a good thing he had this in the back of his mind. Sense that ninja did use a jutsu to hide he must be some where here close meaning this ninja was a sensory type of fighter which made for pains in the ass. once he saw that the person they attacked was just a clone he quickly created a water clone from a small puddle on the large tree branch. Just then his water clone pushed zenaku out of the way as a arrow struck him causing a splash of water to happen as the clone was gone. now zenaku had a idea of where that sensor type was from the angle of where his arrow came from so he suddenly hid behind a tree so he could not be seen. Just then He saw a woman coming there way so zenaku uchiha activated his sharingan which helped him track movements better. Doing the tiger hand seal zenaku fired a ball of water towards the girl who was coming towards his and Zeke's direction. Once he had fired the ball of water he hid back behind the tree so he could hopefully not be seen sense he was carrying the artifact he did not need to get hit so he would stay behind the trees and attack from afar.

Description: By using water as a medium, the user can create one or more clones of themselves. While the clones can perform techniques, they only possess one-tenth of the user's chakra and cannot go too far from the original. The clones can also be used as medium to perform other Water Release techniques, as demonstrated by Kisame when he reverted their arms into water to perform the Water Prison Technique. When these clones are struck with a sufficient amount of force they will revert to their water form. The clones can be created anywhere within a 25 m. range of the user, unlike the Shadow Clone technique which requires clones to be created next to the user (such ranged spawning would require the clone to be spawned from a pre-existing source of water)
Drawbacks: When casting this technique the user's stamina must be above 30% in order to maintain control over his/her clones. Emiki laughed at the Jutsu heading her way, it was fast no doubt, and if she had been moving at her normal speed she would have been clipped harder than she could ever imagine. But there was a difference between Emiki's normal speed, and her speed when she was booking it.

When Emiki rank, she was the wind, and very few things in life could hit her, her blade on the other hand wasn't so lucky, at the speeds she was moving the Tatno was not just ripped from her arms, but shattered into a million pieces from the clipped water bullet.

Still she'd have to congratulate her new playmate after she tagged him. Which she did at a whopping 125 m/s, shoulder checking the Konoha nin into the tree. If she hit, her 126 lb body would hit him at more than double terminal velocity (54 m/s). letting his squishy body and the tree absorb her "vertical fall" (aka crash.).

Zen's movements through the trees seemed to go unnoticed as he had planned, though it would seem that the pair survived the attack. They were distracted enough that they didn't see him move from where he shot from, this deduction was due to the fact that he was now looking at one of them who was hiding behind a tree. Of course the boy wasn't hidden from his new vantage point but where the arrows had come from originally. Zen would look to the other attacker, just in time to see what looked like Emiki crashing into him and the tree. Zen wouldn't concern himself with those two, hoping that Emiki knew what she was doing and returned his attention to that of the first attacker.

From where Zen positioned himself this time he would be approximately 30 meters from the first aggressor he had shot at (Zeke), hidden in the brush with a nice angle for his shots. Zen would pull 5 arrows from his quiver, there was no way he was going to waste all of his explosive arrows on the first day of this exams and so only one of these arrows held an explosive tag while the other four were mere arrows. This time instead of firing from a stationary position, Zen would begin to move as he fired off the arrows, all of which would happen over the next 3 seconds. Zen would shoot the first arrow just before he began moving from his position while remaining in cover as he moved, and then firing another every 3 meters after that, even if his target started moving Zen was a confident shot with all his practice he believed he would still be able to hit his mark. His movement path would bring him closer to his target in a roundabout way, moving in an closing arc formation around the boy while also closing the range between them slightly with each step. The second arrow would be shot 3 meters away from where the first shot was, followed by the third after another three meters, and then the fourth in the same pattern after that. By the time Zen fired his explosive arrow he would be on the other side of the boy from where the first shot taken, and he would only be 15 meters from him rather than the 30 he was when he began. The explosive arrow would reach the boy within a second of being released, once he shot the explosive arrow Zen would continue to move to find a new location to return to cover as he monitored everyone with his chakra sense to ensure that he wouldn't fall victim to a surprise attack. Once he was sure he was in a safe position he would take account on the rest of them, he hoped his focus on the first man did not cause problems for Emiki. Surely she can handle herself, or at least he hoped she could.

Zenaku fired a blast of water at the airborne female. The one who could seemingly blink out of existence while she moved. The shot clipped her knocking her weapon away but it did not stop her ascent into the tree paths. On a straight collision with Zenaku, she blinked out and then she slammed her body full force into Zenaku. Zeke stood there with his back to the tree to see it happen. A clashing of bodies, one moving at unrivaled speeds with no regard for themselves and the other trying to fight back. Sure Zeke was worried about Zenaku there was no telling what kind of damage was done. Not to mention he was holding the artifact on his person, not that the other team knew that. Zeke could have been holding the piece for all they knew. The issue was there was nothing he could do about it, not only did she move to fast to see but there was a sniper to deal with. One that would get ever closer, with each moment. Before Zeke could say anything he could hear movement from his left as someone was closing in, no doubt the archer who ran off into the woods when Zeke first attacked.

The first arrow came from the left moving at increasing speeds. Not giving it much thought Zeke launched himself into the air using his blast abilities. His feet ignited within a moment's notice blasting him off into the air straight up to dodge the initial attack. As he flew into the air several meters above, roughly ten meters to be exact. He looked down while he began his descent. He saw the subsequent attacks all pass through the air one after another. Each attack came from a different angle as if the archer was on the move. Due to being high in the air he saw movement, glimpses rather of the archer moving from tree to tree in an arcing motion to get around Zeke's position. The attack could have been successful had he not had the explosive jump up his sleeve. The last arrow came faster than the last so Zeke had an idea of where the archer was. Then it popped into his mind, the only way the archer knew of Zeke's exact location is if he was tracking them somehow. He could have had some sort of sensory active to do so. The question was were there any more attacks coming after dodging. Zeke was exposed in the air but not defenseless.

As he came down, he saw the archer on the right moving off into the distance to regain his cover. As Zeke fell down from the air he positioned himself so his feet would be facing downward. He would hit the branch and launch himself towards a nearby tree to pursue the archer this time. He could easily close the gap moving at his top speed. He wouldn't give him the chance to get very far or fire many more arrows. He was prepared to launch an attack should he fire any more arrows while on the move. No doubt he would have sensed Zeke coming so he prepared himself for an incoming attack. As he closed the distance on the archer he would punch forward unleashing an explosive attack on the running archer. A five-meter cone with a ten-meter radius in.

Zenaku was mad that his water jutsu did not hit the woman but his attack did manage to smash her weapon from her hand. Unfortunately she blinked out of sight for a moment and some how zenaku knew that she would be coming for him so he managed to move one foot back before she reappeared in front of him as she smashed her shoulder into zenaku chest. He could feel the pain shoot though his chest and he already could tell that she managed to crack his chest bone tho he was lucky that she did not break it. Cause he moved one foot back in time it caused his slam into the tree to be less impactful so while he had all the wind knocked out of his body he did not black out.

Looking down he saw that the girl was laying there probably with a concussion and either a broken shoulder or a dislocated shoulder but at the moment she was just laying there. As he was catching his breath he reached into his weapon pack on his side and he grabbed some wire as he tied the girl up so that would leave just the sniper. He just hoped that she did not get up until he tied her up. He took procosion and took out a kunai knife and placed it against the side of her neck as he would try to get the team to just give up the artifact with out any more fighting.

" hey sniper guy your friend is down and I have a knife to her throat so unless you wish for any more to happen I advise you to give up your artifact or else." Zenaku said as he kept his knife to her throat.

Emki is out for the count. cracked bone on her arm, dislocated shoulder, heavy concussion.  Feel free to skip her. She'll be pretty much dead weight for a few turns (will start making Con Rolls next turn to see if she can wake up.).

Zen had miscalculated or it would appear that way, his target moved but he didn't adjust his trajectory causing all five of his arrows to be shot into the tree where the target had been, before the target jumped into the air. Had all the arrows the arrows been normal that would have been the end of it, however the last arrow had an explosive tag attached to it. It wasn't meant to go off right away Zen had set it with a delay, just as the first two arrows he had shot at the pair, causing the arrow to appear normal as it reached the tree in a second it would lie dormant for a few seconds longer exploding approximately 3 seconds later. The delay would just be seconds and just before Zeke's feet hit the branch the tag would explode in a 15 foot radius with Zeke at point blank on impact, which would allow Zen to find cover without complications and take one of the opponents out.

(If Zeke somehow was still able to move in pursuit of him, Zen would launch another explosive arrow behind him as soon as Zeke got behind him. Exploding the arrow on impact with Zeke or if he used whatever he technique he had used before to stop it. Either way would result in the boy charging at his full speed into the explosion that would expand a fifteen foot radius from it's point of detonation. So if the male somehow managed to avoid the point blank explosion, charging into an explosion was sure to cause problems for Zeke.

Zen would use the explosion as a cover to shift directions and then quickly duck into the thick of the trees for cover, so that if Zeke somehow survived this blast as well he would simply pass by him.)

Once Zen was sure he was safe, the boy would begin to move again his pace a mere fraction of his max speed, allowing him to move through the forest without drawing attention. If Zeke was out of the way it would just leave his partner, unfortunately Zen's partner also seemed to be out of commission. Zen would hear the male call out to him as he slowly crept through the dense trees, though he made no move to surrender or reveal his location. Zen was no fool, he knew the rules just as the others did, intentional killing would get them disqualified. Zen would call the boy on his bluff by ignoring his calling altogether, he had no doubt Emiki would be safe, for now at least. Zen would use his sensory to gather his bearings on the placement of everyone, once he was sure that Zeke would no longer be a problem Zen would turn his focus to that of his partner who had Emiki subdued. If Zeke was still a problem Zen would stay stationary, as he would have to rethink his situation before he made his move.

The tree Zeke launched off of had become a pin cushion for the lad's arrows. One of which had a tag attached to it. Zeke was looking down and saw the tag and figured it would be safer to just extend his time in the air. With a second blast from his feet, he propelled himself forward through the air towards another tree branch nearby as a five-meter (15 feet) explosion erupted at where he would have landed. That would have been no bueno for him. He couldn't really chase after the individual who disappeared into the forest. They were back to square one again. This hit and run tactic were getting on Zeke's nerves but not everyone had the same way of fighting he did. Not everyone was upfront and personal fighter. Everyone held their own in their own way. Zeke couldn't get too mad he had a sort of respect for the guy's fighting style.

It kept him on his feet the whole time, dodging arrows and explosives worked up quite a sweat. Playtime was over though, Zeke's team now had a prisoner. On the plus side, he wasn't too far from Zenaku and his prisoner. As the lad got away into the forest, hiding where ever he was Zeke made his way over to his partner. He kept his head on a swivel looking around to make sure there were no more hidden attacks. The girl from earlier was tied up, and unconscious. No doubt she knocked herself out from slamming into Zenaku. While looking around Zeke spoke, “Hope you aren't too banged up, good job on capturing her though.” Zenaku had the knife to the girl's throat and spoke loudly. There was no response from the sniper, he wasn't stupid. He was probably aware of the fact that they couldn't kill her. Zeke let out a sigh and spoke up

“Just come out man we don't wanna have to hurt the girl to get what we came for. Sure we can't kill her but we can put her out of the exams permanently. If you want her back unharmed come to the ruins.”

Zeke leaped over to Zenaku and checked the girls' person. He checked her quickly to make sure she didn't pick up an artifact from the ruins. Sure enough, there wasn't a chess piece on her person. So that meant two things, one the sniper had the initial piece and two she didn't pick up one in the ruins. He threw the tied up girl over his right shoulder and looked back in the direction where the sniper was no doubt hiding. “Let's head to the ruins. There is an artifact there still.” He leaped from the tree branch and made his way towards the clearing. While he did this he serpentines through the trees to keep the sniper from having a clear shot on them. Hopefully, Zenaku followed the same pattern. Regardless of the sniper could track them moving in this fashion would make it harder to pinpoint. He launched out of the tree brush with the girl and Zenaku in tow. He moved at his top speed so he would have had a lead on Zenaku and they could put some distance between them and the sniper. Zeke hoped the sniper had some kind of heart, he didn't really want to hurt the girl but he would if he had to.

As Zeke emerged from the clearing he hit the ground running with the girl on his shoulder towards the ruins. This would put them roughly 50 or more meters away from the trees. Zeke ascended the stairs and laid the unconscious girl down on the floor. Zeke looked up and saw a bunch of stuff sprawled out onto the floor at a nearby window. It was as if anything that wasn't bolted down was thrown out to find the piece. The piece could have been hiding among the junk outside the ruin window. Zeke didn't check just yet, he just kept a close eye on the forest to see if anyone would emerge besides Zenaku. Also, the prisoner to see if she was going to wake up anytime soon. If she did Zeke would promptly knock her back out.

"Zenaku watch the tree lines to see if anyone comes out, don't attack we are offering a deal."

With his knife at her throat zenaku was still catching his breath after being slammed in to a tree. As he was zeke appeared beside him and asked him if he was ok. " yeah a little winded after being battering rammed like a dummy but I can still go on." He said as he watched zeke put the girl up over his shoulder, he was told that they was heading for the ruins to find the other pieces and honestly he was surprised that he did not think of that him self.

So after telling the sniper to come out and that they might not be able to kill but they could put her out of the exam for good he started heading towards the ruins at top speed. Zenaku was not as fast as zeke but he followed behind him as fast as he could, to be on the safe side zenaku placed 5 explosion tags along the path in different places. The first tag was placed on a tree branch right where he had left from the second was placed 12 meters apart from the first one. He did a serpentine pattern like his partner and continued to place the tags 12 meters apart along the way before he came out of the clearing where he saw zeke at the entrance of the temple. Zenaku landed beside him as he tried to catch his breath. " let's try to find those artifact before the enemy catches up, I left him a surprise if he sleps up.

" He said as he laughed knowing that there was exploding tags along the path to the ruins.

Emiki broken and battered body hung on Zeke's his jostling her around wasn't doing any favors to her already damaged body, bur for the moment she was at least alive-ish.

Zen sat a little under 100 meters south of the pair as he monitored them through the use of his chakra sensory, though he had moved out of eyesight of them nothing escaped his sense of chakra. Watching as they made their way west toward the temple, he was sadden to see that the male had yet again managed to avoid the blast of his explosive tags. It became apparent that this was not going to be the quick victory he had originally thought it would be when he first sensed the pair, he underestimated his opponents or overestimated himself. Either way his opponents currently had the advantage, it would take time but he would have to get it back if he hoped to get out of this with their relic. The fact that they wanted him to surrender shows that they discovered Emiki didn't have it, and the fact that they were going to the temple meant they hoped to find the one Emiki had gone to look for. Their threat to Emiki was bothersome for the boy, but not enough so that he would surrender. 'That idiot got herself in this mess, and now I have to help her get out of it.' This is why working in a team isn't for everyone, and Zen had it with his teammate. He didn't care if they injured her further than she injured herself, he only cared about making these two regret their attacking him.

Zen would slowly moved North-west from where he was towards the clearing, though he trail would take him to the southern side of the clearing far away from where the pair had entered the clearing. He would stop short of the tree line, ensuring to remain in enough cover that he could not be seen yet with them standing in the clearing he would have a clear view of them. By the time Zen made it to the edge of the clearing the pair had already made it to the front of the temple, the pair appeared to be on their toes watching the tree lines from the three directions they could see. Zen knew it would be too foolish to step out from his cover least they open out attack him, and an attack from this distance would yield no better results than his first attempt against them. There were just too many variables to consider at this moment for a type of an attack, Zen knew he would have to think smart in order to get the upper hand.

Zen took note of the temple, it's large size alone blocked the view of the jungle behind it, and surely there had to be more than one way into this monstrous building than just the front door. Zen would move slowly along the southern tree line to the west, maintaining his cover of the thick trees to ensure his prey not yet know of his presence. Zen moved towards the back of the temple in hopes of finding a back door or some way he could get closer to the pair without them noticing, as the direct approach of the clearing was clearly out of the question

Chakra 33

With the prisoner knocked out and Zenaku watching the tree lines a little bit passed by. “He isn't coming out right away, at least not from that direction. He clearly isn't going to give up willingly so we may have to do this the hard way.” Zeke said while pulling on his chain shirt to let some of the heat escape from between his clothes. He looked around at the surrounding area before letting his eyes rest on the temple. They could go in and inspect the place but they were in a raw spot at the moment. They couldn't just leave the girl outside by herself not to mention her partner was still lurking around. On top of that, another team could come upon them and that would spell out even more trouble. Yet now they held the advantage, no more cover for the sniper to hide in. He had to approach from behind the ruins, or an open clearing from the left or right of the ruins. Not to mention they were on the ground now so Zeke's arsenal would open up to be of use here. “Zenaku watch the prisoner for me, make sure to keep your eyes open. There is still a threat out there.” While saying this Zeke placed his hands on the ground and bang to charge it with chakra making the ground soft. He would start to dig quickly and burrow under into the ground.

In a matter of a second Zeke burrowed roughly ten meters deep into the ground right near the entrance of the ruins. The ground returned back to normal as if nothing ever happened. Now Zeke had the ability to sense his immediate surroundings. People, the building, and the surrounding area. This reached out to about 50 meters around him above ground. The front of the ruins was roughly 30 meters in length so it covered that and then some. He would sit there near the entrance underground feeling out the area. He could tell if anyone was coming from around the corner of the ruins, the entrance of the ruins, the inside of the ruins or out in front of the ruins. This would keep any surprise attack from happening on them. If Zenaku's movements became sporadic or if the prisoner moved he would know in an instant and be able to react.

It had been a few minutes now and zenaku had managed to catch his full breath back, his chest and back still hurt like hell but at least he could still move about. Zeke was smart about trying to find the artifact in the ruins cause if they had to they could avoid fighting people and just find the pieces that they needed. Honestly they would have already won this fight and walked away with there artifact except that they had a very fast girl and a sniper with great sensing skills to face. Luckily it was just one guy left and sense he had not heard no boom it must mean he managed to find a way around them. With his sharingan active he has the ability to see people's chakra so he kept his eyes scanning the area to see if he could locate the snipers chakra. Zenaku and the girl sat right at the entrance to the temple just in case he needed to get in side quickly. He knew one thing and that was he needed more training cause as a uchiha he should not be having to work so hard in this exam. He was also trying to save up as much of his chakra as he could cause he knew that he and his partner was going to the third stage and there they was probably gonna have to fight elimination style one on one fights. For now tho he could see the girls chakra and he saw zeke bellow under ground using a earth style jutsu. The only reason. He could think of on why he could not see the enemy's chakra signature was cause he was to far off but if he got close enough he should probably be able to see a chakra signature.

Emiki is still super unconscious, and totes can't do anything while out like a light.
