Master Smith's Scrutinising Eye - Stat Trade
Familiar with the finer work of her own armour, Hua Li has an eye for details once she decides to focus on that aspect. Relying less on raw strength, she emphasises finesse and precision work above anything else. This allows her to lower her natural strength by 1 tier in favour of a perception increase of 1 tier.
Tengu's Feigned Immortality - Stat Trade
Tengu are notorious tricksters of which some are believed to be over a thousand year old. Truth or legend, this tengu has a knack when it comes to surviving the impossible. By becoming as durable as her own crafts, Hua Li forsakes the idea of escaping by dropping her speed by 1 tier in favour of enduring the expected strike by raising her constitution by 1 tier.
Cursed Metallurgy - Chakra Drain UA
The Curses of the Dark Arts become manifest. Hua Li is capable of channelling chakra corrupting curses through her metallic weaponry for as long as she and her target are connected through her weapon of choice, even if momentarily. This chakra curse directly wrecks the victim's chakra for 5 chakra points anytime they are struck or snared by her weapons (max: 15 chakra/post). This action must be a conscious decision. The essence drain strengthens the tengu in her dark powers by adding it to her own reserves in turn. But while this is capable of restoring what she expended previously, it doesn't allow her to go over the maximum of her chakra pool.
While a powerful ability from the Kijo's end, it doesn't come without its drawbacks. Much like the Demon Smith is already capable of corrupting the essence of metals, these chakra ruinous curses bestow a similar but temporary effect upon the weapon that transfers the Dark Arts. When this UA is activate in a post, the weapon suffers a -1 rank in durability for the remainder of the post. Furthermore, this ability can't be used without a metallic weapon.
Kijo Demon Script Enchanter - Crafting UA
A known practitioner of the Kijo Dark Arts of Cursing, Hua Li has shown a knack for Fuinjutsu and the capability to bind the 'spirit' of beings to a place. This forbidden knowledge allows her to make more efficient use of chakra as she enchants artisan pieces, allowing her to place two enchantments on a single equipment. This raised difficulty and utility comes at the cost of raising the cost of each enchantment by 50%.
Guerrilla Leadership - Field Specialist UA
With a mind for Fuinjutsu and a trickster by virtue, Hua Li's troops are trained to fight dirty and (ab)use every benefit they have. No honourable frontal fights in the field but hit-and-run tactics. Her troops function best in areas that allow natural deception by providing cover and means to trap their opponents (suburbs and forests), but are left to be desired in confrontations occurring on straight open terrain (deserts and plains).
