Crafting Seals [Solo] Empty Crafting Seals [Solo]

Post by Yumi Fri Aug 31, 2018 11:02 pm

Yumi laid down a blanket and sat down on it, before placing a large backpack onto it. Inside were various sealing supplies that the medic needed in order to begin their art of sealing. The first thing, Yumi was planning to work on was a set of element conversion seals. What was an element conversion seal you may ask? It was a design of Yumi's where the medic could add their own chakra to the seal where it would be stored for later. Then all they needed was someone to add their own element nature chakra into the seal. Once the element nature chakra was added the seal would fuse Yumi's and the other person's chakra together, turning yumi's chakra into that person's element. With it, Yumi could transform their chakra within the seal to any of the five main elements of fire, lightning, wind, earth and water. The stored element chakra could then be used at a later date once the seal was modified.

Yumi took a breath and began removing everything from the back and placed it on the blanket. There was a pile of five hundred paper sealing tags, Yumi didn't plan to place seals on all of it, as they didn't have enough chakra to do so. For now Yumi planned to make eight seals today, five element conversion seals and three chakra storage seals. If they had enough chakra. But Yumi had an idea or two to make up two Ijutsu that could replenish their chakra reserves. They also brought along three Winter Ice Lotus, taking one would also boost up their chakra reserves to refill them.

The medic grabbed a bottle of 125ml sealing ink and dipped a brush into it while playing down a piece of sealing paper onto a wooden board. The medic took a gulp and began the long arduous process of drawing a sealing array. First, the medic drew the kanji for fire down in the centre, this would act as the centre of the sealing array for the seal they had planned. Then Yumi began to draw various sealing formulae around the seal, all connected to the one until a sealing array had been created. Eyeing the seal, Yumi channelled a little bit of chakra into it to activate. The ink began to dry as it began to solidify into the paper becoming one with it. The seal activated glowing softly before it died down to signal that the creation of the seal had been a success.

Yumi laid back in relief. This was the first time they had ever made a seal up of their own design. Fuuinjutsu was a tricky art that required skill and patience in, it also needs long hard hours of studying countless formulae's in order to make ones own seal up. Sitting up, Yumi began to meditate, now they would begin the task of working on this chakra recover technique.

Yumi took a deep breath, remembering the way they made the first stamina restoration jutsu, it was a prototype but this new one would be even better. The first was only D rank and restored very little chakra, this next one would be C rank and could recover even more. The medic's eyes shot open and they raised their right hand, index and middle finger together. Locating the dadu pressure point, over the spleen, Yumi struck it hard and fast. The chemist groaned softly from the impact before a rush of warmth overcame them, their chakra was slowly recovering. Yumi struck the point again, using less chakra in the blow in order to activate both the D and C rank chakra recovery techniques at once.

Crafting Seals [Solo] Empty Re: Crafting Seals [Solo]

Post by Yumi Fri Aug 31, 2018 11:11 pm

Yumi sat in a lotus pose in order to allow their chakra to slowly recover. They had used up around twenty-five percent of their reserves and it was slowly beginning to recover to the point of being full. The medic took a deep breath as they let chakra flood into their body. The Dadu pressure point was one that allowed for the recovery of energy, in a Shinobi's case that was chakra. As long as they had chakra stimulating through their body, they would be able to make a few seals up in preparation to have someone add their own chakra into it. If Yumi started running low on chakra they would simply take a chakra item or head home to rest and begin work another day.

Yumi released a breath and slowly opened their eyes, they had closed them again to meditate on their fuuinjutsu concepts. The medic licked their lips and moved the single seal aside and picked up their brush to craft another one. This time they would make a lightning element conversion seal. The process was long and consumed a lot of chakra, but it was a sacrifice that needed to be made, without lots of effort Yumi wouldn't be able to become stronger. Raising their brush and dipping it into the bottle of ink, Yumi ran the fibres along the paper tag. Yumi's strokes were slow, but perfect, never making a smudge as they drew the kanji for lightning onto the paper. The ink danced along the page as sealing formulae's were beautifully crafted into the paper.

With a final stroke, the seal was completed and Yumi smiled in relief. The sealing practitioner examined the new seal, making sure nothing was out of place. Putting the brush down they channelled chakra into the seal, making it activate and burn into the paper until it was dry. With the seal now dry, Yumi began the final step of adding a little bit of their chakra into the seal, storing it away. Once the chakra was stored, Yumi leaned back to admire their work. A single seal had been crafted so beautifully. Yumi wasn't planning to make all five types of element seals today only, Lightning, Fire and Earth. Wind and Water could wait for later. After all crafting these seals would be too taxing on Yumi's chakra reserves.

Sure Yumi had the two chakra regenerative techniques and a third in mind they could create and use to further continue the regeneration of their chakra, it was still taxing on the body. Constantly having chakra regenerate only to be exhausted a moment later drew heavily on Yumi's tiny body. Yumi's body wasn't very developed for physical tasks and they easily exhausted.

Crafting Seals [Solo] Empty Re: Crafting Seals [Solo]

Post by Yumi Fri Aug 31, 2018 11:18 pm

Yumi mediated again allowing chakra to flood into their veins. But instead of sitting still, Yumi began to work on another set of seals. Placing down a third piece of sealing paper, Yumi picked up their sealing brush and dipped it into the bottle of ink. This single bottle of ink could be used to craft one hundred seals onto one hundred pieces of sealing paper. Though Yumi didn't intend to make that many, they lacked the chakra reserves. At most, they hoped to make five of each onto paper tags, while engraving with a sealing chisel a seal onto three rings one for fire, lightning and earth, maybe even water and wind. That would come once Yumi made their decision of course.

The brush danced along the page drawing the kanji for 'earth'. All these element conversion seals required the kanji for an element to be used at their base and the remaining formulae to be drawn around. With surprising skill Yumi draw the formulae without making a mistake, Yumi only wanted perfection. With the seal drawn, Yumi added chakra drying it onto the paper tag. As the seal dried, Yumi began to slowly add their own chakra to the seal. Once the chakra was stored Yumi pushed the seal aside and reached into their bag removing three copper rings.

Yumi laid the copper rings down onto the makeshift wooden table, which was just a medium-sized wooden block. Taking out the sealing chisel, Yumi began to craft the fire conversion seal onto the first copper ring. There was little room but enough to draw the seal on. Once the seal was added, Yumi imparted chakra into it, storing a small amount inside. With the ring forged, Yumi placed it into their right index finger and began crafting the second one. The second and third seals placed onto the next two rings were for the lightning and earth conversion seals. Yumi slipped the lightning ring onto their right index finger and the earth ring onto the right ring finger. Yumi admired the three rings as they shimmered on their tiny fingers.

Crafting Seals [Solo] Empty Re: Crafting Seals [Solo]

Post by Yumi Fri Aug 31, 2018 11:25 pm

Yumi began to make some more element conversion seals, this time creating a wind conversion seal. Yumi hadn't intended to but decided to anyway. The medic drew across the paper with ease in order to craft the seal they were making. The seal they would make was the Element Conversion Seal: Wind that could turn Yumi's chakra into the wind element once someone added their wind nature chakra to it. Yumi hummed a little tune as their brush danced along the page with perfection. Once the seal was completed, that had the kanji for wind at its centre the medic added chakra to allow the sealing ink to dry onto the paper tag. Once the ink was dried, Yumi injected a slither of their chakra inside. Putting the tag aside, Yumi admired the four they had made one for fire, one for lightning, one for wind and one for the earth. Plus Yumi had the three rings they also made.

Yumi decided to skip the water seal for now. The other four elements were a little rarer in Kiri and would be hard to find. Water could be found anywhere as it was extremely common amongst the shinobi of Kirigakure no Sato. Yumi put the tags up and grabbed a sealing pen, this lets seals be drawn directly onto flesh. Yumi held it with their left hand and began to draw a storage seal onto their right wrist. Once the ink was placed, chakra funnelled into it to dry it into the flesh. With the seal in place, Yumi admired the work, they would seal up the paper tags later into it. With this brand new seal idea, Yumi used a chisel to engrave it into a fourth copper ring which slid onto their right pinky finger.

Sweat dripped down Yumi's forehead as they had only half their chakra reserves left. Taking a breath Yumi brought their hands together in a seal to meditate allowing the chakra to flood their body slowly recovering what they had. The recovery C rank technique would deactivate soon as it could only recover so many points of chakra, luckily the D rank still had a little ways to go. To make up for the lack of chakra it was time to train a B rank stamina recovery technique, level three as it was. Yumi took a deep breath and channelled chakra into their fingertips, thinking of how to direct the flow of chakra. As the level two stamina recovery came to an end, restoring what little chakra it could, Yumi jabbed the dadu pressure point once more, channelling more chakra than previously. The point was stimulated and Yumi felt a shock and strain throughout their body. Chakra spiked as it radiated throughout Yumi's entire fibre. The medic took a calming breath allowing chakra to fill them. The stamina recovery level three was a high-level technique and consumed a large portion of chakra to activate, but the amount it recovered recover was astounding

Chakra soared through Yumi's body making them grin, but they couldn't use it just yet. The medic took a breath and began to draw another seal. This seal was a chakra storage seal, but it was on an amateur level thus it was named the Sealing Art: Amateur Chakra Storage Seal. it was a low-level seal designed for storing a portion of Yumi's chakra that could be released and used later on when they were running low on reserves. The medic gulped and began to draw the design onto a piece of sealing paper. The kanji that was at the centre was 'chakra' and 'storage' two important kanji that the rest of the formulae rested around. Chakra poured into the seal to let it dry. Yumi didn't stop there as they crafted a second amateur chakra storage seal and activated it.

With both seals crafted Yumi slid them under their Yukata and placed the seals against the chest. Chakra fled into the seals in order to burn the ink into Yumi's alabaster flesh. The medic gritted their teeth as the ink was placed onto their delicate flesh. Only two amateur storage seals could be placed at once onto the body.

With their chakra reserves getting exhausted, Yumi felt a rush of chakra flood in refilling them. The level one recovery technique died down no longer active, but that didn't stop Yumi from jabbing the Dadu pressure point again to reactivate it. The lowest level stamina recovery technique didn't put any strain on the body and could be continued to be used

Yumi concentrated allowing chakra to flood into the two amateur chakra seals on their chest. Yumi could let them naturally draw in chakra, but the medic intended to fill them up right away while the chakra restoration techniques were still in effect. The medic concentrated pouring as much chakra as possible into the seals. Chakra flooded in as the two seals activated. Chakra rushed in filling them up to the brim, it felt like the seals would burst open. Once the chakra was flooded in they were completely full. Each chakra storage seal had equal to twenty-five percent of Yumi's current reserves. In total that meant Yumi had an extra fifty per cent worth of chakra to draw from, giving them a total of one hundred and fifty per cent chakra when at full strength.

The medic removed one of the provisions from their left hip pouch. The provision was a flask of water spring tea designed to help recover chakra. The medic raised the flask to their lips and took a swig of the cool tasting tea. The tea rushed down into their gullet and a sensation spread out. The cool sensation filled their being and slowly they felt their chakra immediately recover, raising up. The two recovery techniques level one and level three took effect to help refill Yumi's chakra reserves. Yumi's reserves refilled to the point it was almost at maximum capacity. The medic estimated their reserves had refilled to about ninety-five per cent.

With their reserves almost completed, Yumi began to work on a few Genjutsu techniques. Looking around they spotted a rabbit in the distant. Forming the needed hand seals, the medic trapped the bunny in the illusion, Yumi exhaled and appeared to launch sixteen fireballs towards the rabbit. The rabbit jumped at the sight of the fireballs and ran to avoid them. The fireballs caught the rabbit and it made a strange scream as it thought it was lit on fire. The rabbit fainted on the spot. Yumi cancelled the illusion, snorting in amusement. Turning around, Yumi's eyes locked onto a deer by the bushes. Forming another set of hand seals, Yumi locked onto the deer, chakra triggered the technique. This was another illusion type ninjutsu Yumi had invented to mimic the wild water wave. Yumi breathed in their cheeks puffing out before they seemed to breathe out a waterfall of water.  The deer leapt in fright and ran off to avoid the raging waterfall.

Yumi chained another set of hand seals, locking onto the deer to trigger the technique, the seal formed was a visual trigger. The deer had briefly looked back at yumi in fright allowing it to be caught in the attack. Yumi expelled a bubbly foam-like substance that covered a large amount of surface area beneath and around the deer. The deer stumbled as in its mind it thought it was caught in some sort of slippering substance.

Chaining a third technique, Yumi appeared to summon a powerful gust of wind that tore up the surrounding trees. The deer seemed to slip over in pure fear and fainted on the spot. The medic snorted in amusement again and looked around, finding doves on the ground to trick. Locking onto the birds and forming some handseals the ground beneath them seemed to liquify turning into a river mud. Yumi chained quickly in order to trick the birds. Yumi slammed their hands onto the ground and the liquid mud seemed to rise up engulfing the birds before they could fly away, smothering them with earth. Yumi cancelled the illusion finding the birds had fainted.

Yumi dusted their hands off and returned to their sealing craft. Yumi started to draw more element conversion seals. Yumi fiddled around crafting three more element conversion: lightning seals. Once the three paper tags had been drawn, Yumi channelled a large supply of chakra into all three to automatically dry and storage a portion of chakra inside of them.

Crafting Seals [Solo] Empty Re: Crafting Seals [Solo]

Post by Yumi Sat Sep 01, 2018 12:07 am

Yumi started crafting more seals, intending to draw up some more fire element seals. Though as they were running low on chakra, Yumi only intended to make three of them, just like how they had made three lightning element seals. This in total would five yumi five lightning conversion seals, five fire conversion seals, two earth conversion seals and two wind conversion seals. After drawing up three more fire conversion seals, Yumi meditated to allow their chakra reserves to recover from the strain. Chakra refilled itself as the stamina recover level three-technique came to an end.

Sighing, Yumi, gave up on forging some more seals today. They would craft more later on, for now Yumi focused on Ijutsu and Genjutsu for the rest of the day. Locating the gate of opening, Yumi jabbed the pressure points around it and felt their body going into a state of accelerated regeneration. Chakra coursed through Yumi's veins as they felt little injuries beginning to recover. This was regeneration level two a C rank technique above regeneration level one. Yumi didn't stop there, they moved on to the bone restoration technique in order to improve its abilities. Holding a hand over where their arm had been broken, chakra surged into the bone repairing little bits of damage that had remained. Yumi flexed their arms and grinned with satisfaction.

Looking at a group of squirrels who seemed to be eying Yumi with curiosity the medic grinned. Clapping their hands, a sound triggered the illusion Yumi intended to cast. Locking onto a spot right in front of Yumi, the ground rumbled violently, spoking the little critters. A wall of solid bone rose up in front of Yumi rising to a five of five metres with a three-metre width and lastly a one-metre thickness. The skeleton wall released a deadly aura that frightened the little critters who ran off.

Crafting Seals [Solo] Empty Re: Crafting Seals [Solo]

Post by Yumi Sat Sep 01, 2018 12:20 am

Yumi pulled out a blank piece of paper, and a calligraphy brush with matching ink. They intended to draw up a few more seals that had ideas for, but instead of using actual ink and chakra it would just be a draft seal that did nothing. But Yumi would be able to figure out the design they wanted and train the sealing technique, later creating it and using it when needed. The medic hummed over which sealing technique idea they would make first. yumi began to draw an idea for a barrier seal. The sealing formulae was drawn around the key kanji barrier. The idea was that Yumi would be able to throw the tag into an incoming attack and a translucent barrier of chakra would form to block the attack. With one seal prototype down, Yumi started on the next. They drew up a new chakra storage seal, but without sealing ink it couldn't be used. This was a more advanced chakra seal then the amateur one and would be called the Adapt Chakra Storage Seal. Yumi estimated it would be able to store up equal to half their own reserves.

With the adapt chakra seal designed made, Yumi started up an even stronger storage chakra seal, the intermediate chakra storage seal. The design was harder and even more complicated than the previous as it incorporated all sorts of sealing formulas and a larger internal storage area. Drawing an amateur seal design, Yumi began to modify the draft, Yumi increased the size of the internal store ever so slightly. This was the idea to compact the chakra and place the seal on the back of a hand. When Yumi would punch out they would release the chakra to deliver a violent crushing blow. Yumi got the idea from the chakra enhanced strength technique. But with this Yumi could store chakra beforehand and when in combat activate the seal and attack.

Yumi sat down and contemplated, their chakra reserves were at half now they could engrave one more seal, but what was the question. Yumi grabbed two pieces of sealing paper and began to draw the seal for the Translucent Barrier formation. The genin drew it on and channelled chakra to activate the seal, drying it onto the paper. Once it was drawn, the medic started drawing the second barrier seal. Yumi grabbed the ten element conversion paper seals and stashed them into their right hip pouch, accompanied by the two barrier seals. They had enough seal making today, it was time to go home and rest. The medic backed everything up and departed from the training fields.
