Crafting Begins [Solo] Empty Crafting Begins [Solo]

Yumi resided within a blacksmiths workshop, they had rented it out for the day, buying a high some to use the forge, hammer, anvil and a few moulds. In hand was a heavy backpack containing sixty pounds of bronze in six blocks, and thirty pounds of copper in three blocks. The Genin huffed as they placed the bag onto a nearby workbench and unloaded, pulling the bars of metal out, Yumi stacked them into two groups, bronze and copper to distinguish between the two. Wiping some sweat Yumi heated the forge up, throwing in charcoal to get it nice and hot. The medic continued stocking the forge, increasing the heat, to the point they were beginning to sweat. The pot inside began to glow at the bottom bright red as it heated up. The medic used a pair of smithing tongs to drop the three bars of copper in each weighing ten pounds.

Time passed as the copper bars began to melt away turning into a liquid state. Yumi placed ring-shaped mould onto the workbench while grabbing another tool. The tool dipped into the pot of liquid copper, collecting three pounds worth. The copper liquid was then carefully poured into the mould. Yumi repeated the process nine times, using up ten ring moulds in total. using the tongs again, Yumi dipped the first mould into a trough of cold water. Steam shot up into the air as the metal was rapidly cooled. Placing the mould back on the bench, Yumi repeated the process nine more times. Once the metal was hardened and properly cooled, Yumi extracted the copper rings, ten in total and laid them out on the bench.

With the Copper Rings forged, Yumi stashed them into their right hip pouch and began to smelt a large amount of bronze, sixty pounds in total. The medic added the bronze to the forge, allowing the intense heat to cause the bronze bars to melt, turning into its liquid state that would bubbly as it shined a deep brown like gold colour. The sixty pounds of bronze would be used to craft two different items, the first three bronze medallions each taking three pounds worth of bronze to be forged. Looking for a suitable mould, Yumi retrieved one from the blacksmiths' collection and laid it down on the workbench.

Scooping out the first lot of liquid bronze, Yumi poured it into the mould. Using a set of blacksmith tongs, Yumi picked the mould up and placed it into the water trough, cooling the metal down. Once the metal was cooled it was removed from the mould, and a hammer was used to flatten out any imperfections. The medic, now amateur crafter repeated the process twice more to forge two more bronze medallions. Once the medallions had cooled down completely and were no longer hot to the touch but just warn, the shinobi put them in their left hip pouch for storage.

With the remaining amount of liquid bronze, Yumi looked for a circular mould that could be used to craft some bronze disks. One might ask just why Yumi was making these useless items, but to them they wouldn't be useless, but useful. The rings Yumi planned to engrave a few storage seals or formations, while on other rings an idea for element conversion seals. Yumi lacked the ability to use nature chakra, mainly because they couldn't be bothered to learn an element or find what their element was. With the use of an element conversion seal, that would be a thing of the past, as Yumi would channel their chakra to a seal and have someone add their element to it. By engraving it onto a ring and wear it at all times, it would give the medic an edge. They also planned to draw one onto each palm, fire on the right, lightning on the left. But first they would have to find someone with those affinities.

Turning back to the task at hand, Yumi poured the bronze into the first mould. There was a total of five moulds on the workbench. Once the bronze had been added to all five moulds, Yumi placed them into the water trough to rapidly cool the metal, before extracting them. The amateur crafter began to hammer out any bumps and edges. Once completed Yumi repeated the process again to make five more bronze disks. With ten disks made, there was just a tiny amount of bronze left. Yumi had the blacksmith come in and turn it into a one pound bronze bar. Taking the bar and stashing away the disks the Geni thanked the blacksmith and departed.
