    Ayano's Cafe:
The Previous day Saia had moved through the Earth district on her way home from the training grounds, still a Fairly fresh Genin she hadn’t made a name for herself yet. Too insecure in her own abilities to take on a mission by herself, and the efforts to make allies and friends seemed to be fruitless.   The highlight of the day was finding a new Café that appeared to have opened that day.   Though she missed the grand opening she felt the need to take a peek inside. But her light pockets told her otherwise, instead of going in she turned and headed home for the night.

The Next morning Saia awoke and laid in her bed for a few minutes adjusting the light coming into her window.  Slowly she rolled out of bed and got ready for the day, taking a nice hot shower, brushing her teeth combing her hair and washing up Saia stood there in her kitchen for a moment.  Today was just like Every other freaking day in the last month, doing nothing and expecting things to change.  She needed to do something different, something that would get herself out there and talking to people.  The lack of Interaction in the last few weeks was more then depressing and she was starting to feel the effects of being a shut in.

Saia quickly Recalled the Café that had just opened, maybe that would be a good way to go about struggle, to get a second job, though she wanted to be a Kunoichi she was not excelling fast enough for her liking and due to her own mistake, she hadn’t been able to claim her salary. Maybe it would be a good way to go about things she quickly thought to herself.  And then went to go see what she had to make herself look more formal “surly they will need people. . . unless they have all the people they need already.  I never find out things before they happen. . . “She said aloud to no one as she sighed opening her drawers and searching for a nice outfit.

Hoping to find something that was more formally than a dress but looking though her drawers and after trying on a multitude of outfits that were worn out and old she was beginning to get frustrated turning her efforts to her closet she swung the doors open harder then she intended and they slammed against e wall.  “opps” She casually mutters as she looks at the rather small selection of dresses she had.  Most of her cloths didn’t make the move and she hadn’t the funds to replace her wardrobe. Her attention slowly turned to the only dress she hadn’t over looked it was her mothers.  It made her Troubled to look at it, after all it was one of the few thing she had left of her mother, it wasn’t that she was gone that upset Saia as much as the slightest bit of hope shed come back on day. But statistically Saia knew it was next to impossible.

Tring on the dress she felt a little better, putting it on in the mirror she walked to her bathroom where a large mirror stood leaned against the wall,  turning herself about to look at herself in many different angles. The Dress seemed nice and formal.  Not too showy and allowed her to walk about still.  It was Long an elegant the Satin like material Transitioned from a matte black into a Comic looking purple. It was sleeve less which allowed her to wear it with her matching black gloves that extended 3/4ths the way up her forearm. The long Vertical Slit up the side of the dress showed her leg and Lower thigh, making sure not to get show off too much, but enough to arouse the attention of onlookers and allowing herself to show offer her Womanly figure.   Nodding in her own approval of the dress she went to her dresser and picked through her hair ties and ribbons,  today she would wear a black ribbon in her hair, firstly because it matched and secondly as a tribute to her mother. As today she would have to keep her mothers family Seal at home.

Moving to the front door she picked out her nicer looking plain looking black boots, it they had what looked to be crushed felt covering them with studs of silver in  a small pattern up the outside of both boots looking a bit like consolations.

Making her way into the market place she moved with relative ease as she built herself up with confidence telling herself  that she was, smart and capable and that she was likeable and that if worst comes to worst and they said no  she could just go back to training and push herself harder.

Saia approached the new looking building which stood out amounts the rest of them and took a deep breath and made sure she was holding a sincere smile.  She was Arriving some were around 9am  hoping to catch people before any rush.  She new around lunch wouldn’t have cut it and she didn’t want to wait to long either because then It makes her look lazy.

Opening the door to the establishment Saia was blown away the place looked fantastic, almost  too new to be real.  still built up on her own ever teetering confidence she quickly recognized that staff in uniform and approached the nearest one who didn’t look too busy to help her.
“ hello There I was hoping to speak to someone about employment at this fine establishment” she says flashing a bright smile hoping that she might have found a job.

    Outfit for Refrence :

The cafe was moderately full at this time, though not enough to really be considered busy. There was a steady pace of people coming in and leave of all types. Shinobi, civilians, and even young children. Ayano could be seen standing on a stepping stool behind the bar as she held a piece of white chalk in her left hand writing down more menu items that were recently added. Ayano is a remarkably average looking woman enough to be considered cute, though not much more. Standing roughly 5'5 and weighing 130 lbs she has a larger-than-average bust but not outstanding or absolutely demanding respect. Her fair skin is kept in rather pristine condition being smooth and moisturized daily with no visible tattoos, birthmarks, or scars on her body. Her natural charcoal gray eyes and hair gives her representation about her personality, which is the lack therefore of.

She wears black dress shoes, a dark gray short skirt and dress top with long sleeves with a lapel on either side revealing a white undershirt. A small black bow is worn just below the collar of the undershirt. She has long dark gray hair which is typically curled towards the ends and two strands down both sides just far enough to rest on her bust. Her hair reaches down to mid-lower back level. This is topped with a single black headband worn keeping everything together. As the door opened a bell chimed notifying her of another patron. However, she continued to work on her menu. Another female waiting at the door behind a podium would greet her instead. The female wore a nearly identical outfit as Ayano did. The woman would smile, though before she could greet the white haired woman she was already taken away by her inquiry. "Employment? I will have to ask Ayano. She is the owner."

Ayano was attentive enough to overhear this. Stepping off the stool she folded it and stored it on a hook before placing the chalk in a drawer behind the bar counter. Ayano would approach Saia and Izumi, offering a mellow greeting smile. "Greetings. Did I hear you wished for employment. We could use another member on our team. Come speak with me, please. In my office." Ayano gestured Saia to follow as she turned the other way. She would head straight back to the rear door, opening it while stepping in and keeping it open for Saia to enter as well.

The office was cozy and took on a different atmosphere than the establishment. A small bookshelf, portraits, shelves, decorative plants, and small decorations gave it character. "Would you like a coffee or something else to drink?" Ayano offered, courteously to the white haired lady. As she said this, Izumi, the female who worked the podium at the entrance, entered the office as she set a small white plate down before Ayano on the executive desk. On the plate was an espresso cup, the contents being a creamy coffee with a skillfully added cream leaf. As she placed the cup down Ayano gestured the waitress to hold. If the white haired girl did not have any requests, she would be dismissed.

Reclining in her leather chair she clasped her hands together and rested them on the desk. "We have a position open for a waitress. You will handle payments and serve our guests. Do you feel like you qualify for this position? And would this be something you are interested in?" Ayano grabbed her plate and espresso by the handle raising the coffee to her lips taking a steady sip and licking the cream from her lips as she finished. She would pay close attention to the girl's mannerisms, behavior, and response at this moment.

Saia would follow the associate to the woman she could only presume to be Ayano, when they arrived at the bar, Saia had taken the time during the walk over to familiarize herself with her surroundings, something She had picked up on as a Kunoichi.  She slowly looked about the café as she moved, her steps carful and almost planned out, yet confident in her stride keeping pace just behind the person who had greeted her.  when she got to the person who was to talk to, she noticed quickly that they were similar in age, which was quite an accomplishment, to be an owner of any establishment at their age was quite an magnificent feat.

Saia watched her put away to stepping stool and made sure to Return Ayano’s Smile with one of her own.  A smile which held self-assurance, and Friendliness, it was warm and possibly even comforting.  It was the type of smile Saia had almost always, she had even been told once that she was the type of girl that would smile even at the end of the world. “ Hello im Saia Tem’Naka ” she would Say returning the Greeting  followed by a single nod indicating she was indeed there for employment as mentioned before and offered out a handshake with her right hand.

Following the woman to the back office, Saia nodded towards the woman that had lead her to her Potentially new employer, “thankyou” she said to her as she passed, making sure to keep her manors about her, even if she was slightly nervous, her thoughts were concise and clear. Saia made it to the office in the back, where Ayano opened the door for her “thank-you” she would again chime as she entered the room and stood off to the side, so Ayano could get past her.  Standing beside the chair across from the desk, knowing its impolite to invite herself to sit she waited for her to be offered the seat.

    “Oh Please”
*she says making sure to smile still. “a coffee with two milk would be perfect, thankyou”, she says directly after, her confidence slightly wavering for a moment, her attention moved from making Eye contact with Ayano for a short amount of time, so that it wasn’t uncomfortable and then to the Random assortment of objects in the room. Saia liked Trinkets and oddities and the office seemed to have a significant amount of them, this part of the building seemed homelier then the other potions of the establishment, but it made sense to Saia as this was likely were she spent most of her time.

By this time if she wasn’t offered the seat instead of just taking it she would ask “ May I?” she says motioning to the seat, feeling a little stupid for having to ask( if not offered before) but knowing that it showed discipline. If told she could she would Sit down and smooth her dress out with the palms of her hands before letting he hands rest folded on her lap.

Being told of the position available she would nod “ that would work wonderfully, I am most surly interested, though I should mention ahead of time as I know it can be inconvenient to you as the employer, I’m a Genin for the village and there will be times I am unavailable for weeks at a time.  I know this isn’t much of a selling point but I would rather be upfront about this. would this be a deal breaker? “ she would say  mustering up her confidence again, her pale skin softly redden on cheeks from her stress,  easily mistaken for makeup but a skillful perceptive person would easily discern this as being nervous.  Saia awaiting a response would take her left hand and softly run her gloved hand over her own jawline on the left side, mostly the break up the nothingness of waiting for a response. A easy mistake was to fidget like this, but she didn’t catch herself before it had started.

When and if  the coffee she was offered came out she would slowly reach for it and clasp it tightly with both hands. Taking the time to enjoy the aroma of fresh coffee, before taking a small sip and placing it back on the plate it would have likely came with, and then ran her right thumb over her own lips to take the moisture off her lips.

Ayano would accept the handshake, and nod to her introduction. It was a basic mannerism to introduce oneself when meeting someone new. The only reason why Ayano had not done it to herself was Saia already having heard her name by one of her staff members. Following her to the office she was willing to accept the offer of a drink. Ayano would nod towards the staff lady as she confirmed the order and left the office closing the door behind her. "Yes, please take a seat and make yourself comfortable." It was in a short instance when after Ayano finished speaking and before Saia could begin did the waitress return with the coffee the girl had requested. She would set the coffee on Saia's side of the desk before she departed. Ayano was surprised to hear Saia was a Genin. For a young Kunoichi to be interested in working at a cafe was beyond her. Perhaps she was not entirely motivated to continue on with her path as a Shinobi, or maybe she needed the extra income. Regardless of her reason, Ayano would nod in agreement.

"Not at all. If you need to take a leave just let me know, or leave a note. As long as I get any form of notification." Ayano would take another sip of her coffee before placing it back on the plate and setting it down on the desk. "If you are willing to accept, then consider yourself hired. I don't believe a skill evaluation is necessary. You're more than qualified for this position." Ayano would scoot back pulling open a large drawer located along the face of the desk. She would thumb through a few papers before retrieving a small stapled packet for new hires. She would set the packet on Saia's side of the desk with the text facing her. "We don't enforce a uniform, though business casual is expect. What you are wearing would work perfectly fine. Do you have your ID on you by any chance? I would need to scan it to make you a badge."

Inside the packet was nothing more than the standard code of conduct, job description, and the usual spiel. If Saia did have her ID Ayano would run it through a small hand held device where it would take a photograph of her face. Upon doing so she would hand the card back to the waitress. "I am going to have you start June first. That will give you a few days to become familiar with the place and relax. You will be paid every month, your annual salary being one-hundred twenty thousand as a waitress. As an employee you will receive a fifty percent discount on all purchases." Reaching for the coffee again she would raise the plate and the cup up to her lips, gently blowing on the brew. "Do you have any questions?" After she said this she would indulge on the coffee taking a deep draw. And just like that, the cup was empty. Setting it on the plate she would place it on her desk.

Saia would nod towards the person who brought her the coffee and thanked her quietly and nodded towards her.

It seemed like her forwardness had shocked Ayano at first but she kept her resolve extremely well, Saia noted that her new employer seemed to know exactly what to say, it seemed that despite being younger then one would expect from a business owner it didn’t seemed to matter, Ayano seemed to have a handle on it.

After being told she had the job if she wanted and that she wasn’t even going to be evaluated for skills, which made Saia feel a little more confident, that and she took Saia being a Genin that needed to leave sometimes rather well, it was almost unexpected how smoothly things were going. “most definitely I would love to work here” she said with a happier more genuine smile now, almost instantly blushing heavily.

Taking the cup again she would carefully take another drink, before looking at the papers that were placed down before her. when asked if she had id on her Saia would nod, it would be kind of silly to not come prepared for something like that. Quickly placing the papers on the edge of the desk she would quickly pat down where pockets on pants normally wore then quickly remembered she had them stashed in her gloves. Rolling down her right glove she grabbed the edge of her card and pulled it out wiping it on her thigh so it wasn’t damp from her sweat. She would then offer it out to Ayano before going back to looking at the paper work. Reading it which still listening to the uniform policy. It seemed kind of strange to her that the other employees seemed to wear a uniform, and that she wasn’t required to, however Saia wasn’t sure what the waitresses had to wear a uniform, but she would simply nod showing she understood. For whatever reason Ayano had Saia wouldn’t question it. “June works good”

Saia a bit surprised with the photo of her face but understood that the procedure was for the start up and an ID card. Luckily, she had put on some makeup, not a lot of course, luckily, she was gifted with a rather nice complexion and a nice natural looking beauty, her slight blush would work well to in a photo as well. But no matter what Photos seemed to never capture her best qualities. When She was given her id back she would place it back into her glove for safe keeping.

~Questions. . .~ She quickly thought, it all seemed to happen so fast that it was hard to think of many but one came to mind immediately “What time would my shift start?” she would ask putting the papers back down once she was done with them and picked up her coffee which was about half full, taking another sip of it, she would Take the time now that everything was a little less hectic and things where settled. Now able to relax a bit she would take a deep in hail as if a weight was lifted from her chest.

The Coffee was smooth and earthy, a great aroma rose from it. and had she had it with cream it would have been extremely rich. It was probably one of the best cups she had ever had, but maybe it was just how she was feeling now. How her goals were getting slowly becoming attainable.

For her next question she didn’t really have any more left pertaining to the job she was just given but more so direct at Ayano, She was such a Curiosity to Saia “if you don’t mind me asking, what got you into running a business, so young? i mean its just very impressing.” she asked genuinely curious about her answer, id she come from money and was investing it? was it a Passion, or was it something simply to make money? Either way Saia almost couldn’t wait to hear what her answer might be.

Saia questions were important about her shift, something that told Ayano she was proactive about her position. "I generally assign a set schedule for my employees. However, since you are a Shinobi I can have you as a flexible shift. I don't know if you want to train or do whatever at whichever part of day, so I will leave that up to you. I will give you the option to notify me what times work best for you. If not, I will have you start at noon and you will work five hours then." The young business woman would recline back in her leather chair and gently have her finger tips against each other as she indulged in the waitress' question. Her secondary question was not job related, and to her surprise was about her personal life. It was something she was not asked often. In fact, a lot of people did not question her age and position of running a cafe. She was certainly young, only being sixteen years old. She matured quickly and gave off a vibe older than she appeared. Given her appearance and business license, it was the only reason she was able to stock her cafe with alcohol in the first place, many vendors not bothering to check her actual age.

"What an interesting concern. Well, I guess you could say I am older than what I may appear. I don't mean to brag, but I was exceptionally intelligent when growing up. I had my priorities straight when I was five years. I had no distractions in my early life to hold me back. I had a peculiar talent in culinary, so I decided to pursuit that career. By twelve I was already traveling the world in my college becoming familiar with different cuisine. Opening a business was no problem after that. And here we are. That essentially sums up my past and current situation." She said, wrapping up the last detail about her personal life she was willing to share. Of course she had to maintain a professional outlook on the question and the girl she was talking to. Although she preferred to maintain the facade of a simple manager, she learned valuable information at her time in the Shinobi Academy. That being to never reveal too much about yourself to anyone, especially strangers.

Wrapping up her inquiry she sat upright and folded her arms on the desk leaning forwards resting her bosom on the tops of her arms. Giving Saia a graceful smile she followed up her response with another question. "So, do you have any more questions?"

Saia Smiled Politely as Ayano talked, she certainly was an accomplished individual, someone who sought out opportunities and took them or created them herself which was something already admired about her. But even she knew that running a Business took a lot of time, time that Saia was eating up. She would take her cup of coffee in hand again and finish it off in a few sips, before she was asked if she had any other questions.

“I believe that’s all the questions I had, did you have any for me? *she would ask tilting her head slightly to the Right and running her free hand over her dress flatting out any bumps of fabric on her legs. Keeping her legs crossed at the ankle, she shifted her weight slightly in the chair and got ready for either the pending question or to get our of her hair

If Ayano didn’t have a any question for her then she would wrap up their meeting.“ it was a real pleasure meeting you today and thank you for the opportunity to work here. I’ll come back for the first of June to pick up a Schedule” She would say putting her coffee down on the dish again before standing up and bowing her head slightly and offering out her hand again.
