Appearance: Saia looks appears older then she actually is, perhaps it was because she grew up on her own and the only people she ever looked up to or wanted to be around was older then herself. She wears a red hooded Kimono and a black belt. Holding a five-pointed star at her hip. The signal of her mother’s clan, a clan that long since died out, with all of its secrets lost. Saia has long pink flowing hair, often not tied back. but when entering combat or needing to go on a mission she will often tuck it into her hood to keep it from being pulled. Saia wears black pants and shin high boots for ankle support.
History:
Sais was born just before the forming of Kumogakure to a single mother who’s lover went M.I.A, it was up to Saia’s mother to provide and raise her, making sure she had a place in this new world that was upon them. It wasn’t easy for the single mother, but she did her best to manage her Kunoichi career and raising Saia, but of course the line of duty is always priority. In these times her mother was gone, Saia would stay with a close friend of her mothers, The Senou family , a rather wealthy family, this didn’t Really influence Saia in many ways, as she often spent time by herself. Only really talking to their daughter on the rare occasion that they had to spend time near each other
When Saia was old enough her mother gave her the choice to follow in her footsteps, and Saia was reluctant at first. But decided to join the academy and become a Kunoichi like her mother. Saia went through the academy and made a few friends but was held back a bit because f her lack of Physical prowess, in her academy years she progressed slowly but was on track to graduate until her mother went MIA in a Mission. During this time Saia shut down entirely and became fairly sick. Spending a lot of time in the hospital. It delayed her graduation a year but after a bit of time at the hospital she found her appreciation for Ijutsu. Her sensory capability came to her naturally, maybe because her mother was sensory type Kunoichi. But Saia though she was quite Coordinated she was slow and not overly strong. Which made her ninja arts like Taijutsu and Kenjutsu. Later she advanced with the bow, making her a rather long ranged supportive styled Kunoichi. Genjutsu was never her strongest Suit despite being rather intelligent, maybe she just didn’t like the idea of Mind games.
Without her mother and now old enough to be on her own. She was able to get her own apartment and provided for herself with a temporary job until she gets going as a Genin. Never the less Saia Graduated a little late and was on track to be set up with a new team.
Personality: Saia is a very kind and caring person. Having devoted her life to helping those in need. It could be said she holds other people over her own self value and tries hard to seek out friends but often has issues getting attached to them. Saia is extremely loyal and trustworthy, maybe even too trusting. As the people she holds in high regards can’t do wrong in her eyes, she will almost always find a Reason on how their actions were justifiable. In addition to these things, Saia is rather quiet unless you know her, but will reach out to others when she can in order to establish any relationships she can with others. she is also extremely honour bound and refuses to lie unless under direct order or endangers other peoples live.
Roleplay Sample:
The storm outside brings energy to the life around it as the rain falls loudly against the window pane, the birds outside are going wild with excitement as the rain brings promise of bugs and worms, the people all rush around under neither the window as Saia looks out, she always found it humours that people didn’t like the rain, it had to be on their terms, the common folk feared what they couldn’t control or understand. They feel powerless because the change is something they can’t control. But people don’t understand the power they have, each action is made in permeance and purpose. They can riot, take action and initiative, but they are blocked by the limitation of their imaginary weaknesses. Saia smiles softly as she brings the whetstone against the edge of her kunai again, as she looked from the rain to the shine of her blades edge, it was something quite beautiful having a freshly sharpened weapon. Not that it overly mattered, as Saia was a pacifist, or as much of a pacifist as one could be while being a kunoichi she was the voice of reason. Genin have all that power and the will to use it. But Saia understood that true power is having the power to do harm but choosing not to use it.
