Crafting | work, work

As the fires in her old trusted forge burned once more and the necessary coffee had been consumed, the Demon Smith picked up her spirits and decided it was high time to get into actual business. Kirigakure had been a fun place but nothing beat the familiarity and home-feeling of her own little workshop. And to that end, the next piece of her personal armour was next in line to be crafted.

The next piece of equipment was done. Hua Li now had a matching belt to add to her outfit. The belt would further keep her trousers in place and offer the possibility to attach her kusarigama or other shinobi tools, and added a sense of style to the whole outfit with the Umbral side-split skirt. A feminine touch to the otherwise demonically inspired armour. Without hesitation, she admired this new piece of armour and wrapped it around her waist, putting it in place with her partially created armour. Just that little extra added so much to her appearance as the daitengu and warlady; the exceptionally quality of her crafts awe-inspiring by their own, and further enriched in their presence by the Kijo's Dark Arts. She was more than just a tengu now. A shadow within the Yokai clan with influence. A jounin of the Village starting to look the sort with every new piece of equipment.

Considering it satisfactory for the time being, the newly set up shop of the tengu needed some attention. There was a need to offer a basic set of weapons and armour. Currently, she had none of that. Granted, the shop was still under construction, administration being finished up and the instalment of a furniture and a shopkeeper was yet to be a thing, but the Demon Smith considered it a good idea to start the construction of some provisioning. A couple of sets of kunai and shuriken were not that bad an idea. Standard issue quality to get herself familiar with the other aspect of metallurgy while doing the Village a service of her own.

The first set of shuriken were done. Simple tools, simple quality. It hardly matched the quality she could achieve with armours. Nonetheless, the work was solid and precise. It matched the expectations of Kumogakure's standards. Creating a couple of sets of those was a great way to add to the reserves of the Village and a good way to bolster her own shop's selection of goods. Simple armament on top of her finer quality.

The second set of shuriken was ready; a third set was up. The Demon Smith perceived these ninja tools with good scepticism but their simplicity belied their deadliness.

Another set of shuriken done. Hua Li bundled them and laid them with the other. A total of 60 deadly stars glistened in the flickering light of her burning forge. It was time to get working on the kunai now.

Five new kunai were added to the 60 shuriken. A new set of weapons for her shop. Or personal use. She wasn't too sure just yet, as it never hurt to have a good reserve of throwing for herself. Still, work wasn't done just yet. Decisions could come later. Melting a new batch of steel, Hua Li started the crafting of the second set of kunai.

And the second set was also done. Now Hua Li had a healthy amount of kunai and shuriken to share. Or to use for herself. Granting herself a break from all the crafting, she'd gather her belongings and get herself a cup of coffee somewhere in a local coffee shop. With a smile on her face, one thing was clear: she was back home.
