Death Comes.

Innocence and Mercedes had been preparing to return to Konoha after their successful mission on Kiko Island. Truth be told, Innocence didn't really know the details of the mission but she helped Mercedes scout, shake down a few bandits and gather information. During their trip, Innocence had gotten the chance to train and practice what she had learned back in Konoha against real opponents. The pair had gotten close during the mission and it was a good opportunity for them to vent to each other about their respective pressures, share in each other's secrets and grieve the loss of their father.

The day they were set to leave Kiko Island, however, was one neither would ever forget. The pair were hiking through a large stony hill when they heard an unmistakably familiar roar about several kilometers away from their present location. They were situated very far from Kaori, roughly equi-distant from the beast itself ensuring neither would even see each other.

"Lay low" Mercedes instructed. The older sister activated her Sharingan and used its microscopic vision to spy on the unfolding battle. Innocence's mouth opened in shock as she spied with her normal eyes what appeared to be another Bijuu fighting with some shinobi. Again?! Innocence wasn't an expert on the subject but she couldn't help but notice the coincidence of another Bijuu being unleashed against the world. Innoccence's heart grew still and the same sense of hatred and powerlessness, she felt in Konoha washed over her. She felt her neon green eyes glow with power as she imagined what she could do to such a beast if she ever became as strong as Airi or Tengoku. Mercedes and Innocence ducked down behind a set of rocks as they continued to observe the battle.

Post 1

Fuck, alright. Things were starting to get hairy out there. Were they going to even be able to beat this monster? It was difficult to imagine that the forces currently fighting it would actually do much to take it down. Even the strongest among it were only stalemating.

Luckily, a couple kilometers away seemed to be the safest she could be. While there was a sizable amount of terrain destruction, the island was a lot bigger than just where they were fighting. Chen needed to get there to assist, but Kaori wasn't even sure he'd be arriving. In all honesty, she didn't particularly care, and since she'd given her report so far in her missive, it wasn't like she needed to wait for him. But she'd stick around a little bit longer.

Truth be told, if he didn't show up, it might be better for everyone, she wasn't sure how people would react to him. While she respected him more than most shinobi, he was a polarizing person. On the other hand, he was a beacon of strength in Iwagakure. That much was undeniable. Too bad he wasn't around to stop the destruction there. He wouldn't have died like the Tsuchikage did, defending against an attack that had already been mostly deflected.

Iwa was in a sorry state, but Konoha was to blame for that, their constant wars and conquests had seen to it that most of their forces were in a fledgling state. That's why she really hated Konoha. They kept coming in as conquerors and pretending they were doing a favor, but everytime they occupied Iwagakure, massive destruction followed. How was Iwagakure to advance if Konoha kept coming in as 'heroes'?

At least this minor nation, this village, was still a far shot from even Iwagakure's sorry state. They had put up very little resistance and could only flee in terror at the arrival of this Bijuu. The evacuation was well undergone at least.

The bijuu was quick and intellligent, something that the Raikage had not expected. As soon as he broke through the eye of the storm. He was suddenly greeted with a bijuu bomb directly at him. He had been planning to bomb himself anyways because of he was taking no chances of him missing. Gyuki had fired another bomb during the explosion, causing a pocket of destruction that would of rocked the entire area. Raijin felt nothing but vibrations of two terrible attacks. But the smoke began to clear and Gyuki saw that he was unfazed and angry. It was rare that anyone could cause Raijin so much trouble who could not teleport away from him.

The bijuu would in a world of trouble now. "My turn." Gyuki began to fall back down and desperately tried to grab on to him on the way. Raijin flew up and backwards evading the tentacles, but also making a handsign as well. The main Raijin, quickly popped another God pill and spawned two Sage clones who began to make different signs. He also made another set of seals before the trio all held there hand to their mouths and fired a devastating wave of fire at Gyuki. The combination of all 3 attacks would be at a level that bijuu could only produce naturally. It would be powerful enough to annihilate almost anything in its path.

Tadara also was causing a great secondary attack letting the recouping Akuta to attack Gyuki as well. Hoping this would cause enough distraction to hit the bijuu with the Akuta body.

Tumbling down to the ground the Eight-Tailes watched as the undying shinobi would continue their flight towards the mighty Gyūki with a tenacity few of his kind had attempted while so entirely alone. Well, perhaps not so entirely as the Hachibi had thought, as from below one of the small fry survivors of the cataclysmic storms that ravaged the surrounding land launched the still-reforming mass of doton chakra to assist the undying one.

In these precious moments where the additional clones and original Raijin formed hand seals and Akuta soared from below, Gyūki could feel the final lock slide into place as he found himself all alone in the world with all eight of his kin now sealed within these pathetic creatures. While this penultimate feeling from earlier once Matatabi had been sealed away had thrown the Eight-Tails into a blind fury, the finality of this realization of his total solitude in the world provided a calming and concentrated hate he meant to wield to his dying breath against those that claimed the title of shinobi.

In a fraction of a second Gyūki re-analyzed Raijin and his clone's movements as the final seals were made, recognizing the common strategy shinobi deployed against his kind. Time and time again these inferior beings thought to try and emulate the raw destructive power their kind were simply incapable of producing from Gyūki’s ancient perspective. It means to match my power by means of combination. It was now that Gyūki deployed the powerful beam of concentrated chakra from its mouth at the same time as the fire’s release, whipping his horned head to arc the overpowering attack to snuff out the separate expulsions of katon chakra in one fell swoop. The raging fire coming his way would be sliced in half as the weakened mass of flames licked his skin in a comforting warmth before fully dissipating. He hoped to take out the clones and original with his calculated reaction time, but was satisfied with snuffing out the attempt at the very least.

With but one tentacle Gyūki would swat away the annoyance the Akuta had become before it reached a point that allowed it to reach him. The chakra creation might possess formidable resistances but it was simply outmatched by the Gyūki’s enraged physical state that made defiance to this deflection all but impossible.

Gyūki Deets:

The Akuta lifted up and Tadara would let his calm golden gaze follow it. Before the water burst from under him as he moved at full speed up after it. He didn't expect the Akuta would be able to do much. Still he would pop a god pill while he observed quietly and with incredible mental speed. If nothing else it was struggling with the bijuu to begin with. Something about the way the Bijuu was moving seemed like it was getting faster and stronger. If his calculations were correct the man had to be getting tired now. Those three jutsu being let off were not cheap. Even as the eight tails let off its own attack it canceled out all three. It was time for Tadara to get in on the mix. He would form the clone seal as he flew up in the shadow of Akuta. Even as the tail smacked it away without a second thought Tadara simply switched to the shadow of the massive tentacle. His chakra hidden by his mask. He may be little more than a pest but he was going to act like one. Hidden from the face and sensory Tadara would fly up its back as it fell. Calculating it's trajectory and speed. Sliding in between the tentacles and Slamming his fist into the beasts back to create a paralysis field before creating two shadow clones. All three would take position at the base of the tentacles and place the flat of their hands on it's back.

 It was distracted by the big threat and paying little to no attention to Tadara. Which was ideal for the time being. It would be what allowed him to get close enough to do this to begin with. The three clones would simultaneously activate Chakra drain. Pulling the bijuu chakra into himself for a moment. Dropping the creature by seventy five chakra in one foul go. With it's S++ Constitution and everything happening around it the Bijuu would have incredibly difficult time locating the attackers. Tadara had strategically placed himself in a position that Gyuki could not just turn it's head and see him. Nor would chakra sensory be able to pick him up. At this rate if he could hold the position he could rapidly drain it's chakra. Weaken it and then seal it. Hobble the target first. It's massive chakra reserves were it's pride. Such a thing would have to be broken. Besides that with the Ocarina still playing Raijin was too much of a threat to turn its attention from. This was an ideal tactic for a chakra battery. Tadara would use his free hand to consume one god pill. 

Drain it. 

70 chakra:

As the raining hot rocks finally stopped, Lily could see the exchange of flames with the massive attack let out by the octopus. It was a sight that, were she not in a life-or-death situation right now, she would have watched in awe. Alas this was indeed a dangerous situation, and as such she was still on guard as she lined herself up with the backside of Gyuki. The mysterious flying masked man had gone forward and was doing...something. She'd weigh her options. While the area around Gyuki was getting dangerous, all she had to show for her skills was the blood one one of her knives, but blood meant little. No, she was sure that she couldn't do much more in this fight, but she could still do something.

Lily would try to move forward, but that nagging feeling in the back of her mind would hold her back. With the volcano underneath, she had no idea how long it would be until it erupted again, or even if it would again. She had barely avoided the bijuu blasts, barely avoided the mystery man blast, and barely avoided the falling hot rocks. Barely barely barely. Lily had to face the facts, she was out of her league, and she needed to accept the fact that she had done the best she could up until now. She still had proof that she had fought the beast, but perhaps it was best to cut her losses. It wouldn't do her any good to die before learning how to stab the shab-nak after all.

With a heavy sigh Lily would wait some more, flipping her blade in her hand as she'd wait and watch. As long as that volcano was there she couldn't get close, but if Tadara's paralysis were to make the beast go limp and have a tentacle fall far enough away that Lily could safely get close without risk of the volcano, she'd take that chance for a trophy before getting the heck out of here. After all, Kit-Kit would be so proud of her, taking on a monstrous beast and proving she can handle herself!

"Its fighting in a frenzied state" Mercedes commented as she continued to peek from behind one of the rocks. The sisters were huddled far from the action but even at their distance they could see how intense the battle was. Innocence continued to draw sharp and slow breaths as the S-Rank techniques sounded off in the distance. She was afraid. The only Bijuu she had seen up close with her own two eyes was the Indaina Kujira but these Tailed Beasts were different somehow. The Indaina Kujira looked more machine than flesh. There was a cold and impersonal feel to its attack. It was like being at war with an oversized puppet. But judging from Mercedes's analysis, the Gyuki was anything but impersonal. These creatures had emotions and they fought with the natural survival instincts of a living being. Innocence as a surgeon knew firsthand how vicious biological life could be when trying to survive. Everything from bacteria to plants to animals to people had their own defense mechanisms that were ruthlessly employed to stave off the void. Even as Innocence crouched cowering behind her sister, she couldn't help but think: What's my defense mechanism? What's my will to survive look like? She had seen her father's and she had certainly seen her sister's. But Innocence had no Sharingan to speak of and her newfound abilities while powerful and unsettling paled in comparison to what she'd need if she was to confront threats like this. Mercedes ducked back down and laid a hand on Innocence's shoulder.

"You're shaking"
"No I'm not"
"Its okay. Don't worry....I won't let anything bad happen to you."

Innocence wanted to protest but for once she closed her mouth and sat still. For once, she allowed herself to feel protected and cared for. This was something so far out of her league that there was no point in acting tough. Mercedes could be impassive at times but she was certainly not stupid. The Mercedes returned to surveying the battle and after a few more seconds, she tapped her sister's knee.

"Let's go. I have all I need." Innocence wasn't sure what division Mercedes worked with but it was clearly an important one. The secrecy behind their mission on Kiko Island and her interest in recording the Bijuu were not inherently unusual but a sister's intuition told Innocence there was more to this excursion than even Konoha knew. Didn't matter. She'd keep her mouth shut unless instructed otherwise. Mercedes would remain crouched but would slowly start to exit the area, picking up speed as she ran in the opposite direction of the battle. Innocence followed closely behind sparing a last look at the unfolding battle.

Some day... she thought before following Mercedes and leaving the area.

Post 2

Kaori decided that things were getting hairy enough that she should probably evacuate now. The fighting was going to be winding down soon, but she didn't need to see any more from here on out. She wished the Shinobi fighting the Bijuu good luck, but honestly, they didn't seem to need luck, they needed some help. Oh well, not her problem, she'd done what she had come here for.

She'd sent off some correspondence to Chen's delivery boys with all the information she'd gathered so far, and infiltrated Konoha's military well enough. That was enough. The Chuunin Exams would be arriving soon, he'd find her or send someone to find her later she was sure.

Heading to the evacuation zone to report her sector clear, Kaori was ready to get off this island before it really got fucked up.

Exit

It was unbelievable. Not many would be able to withstand the onslaught that Raijin had just wrought upon the 8-tails. It had withstood his Great Spiraling Sphere and now a powerful three-pronged attack. While small this surely was a testament to the strength of the bijuu and Raijin. Who had yet to tap into his 9-tails strength. This would have to be a battle of attrition. He would take a gamble a draw energy from Kurama to last this battle. Kiko Island would be no more after this.

Tadara was providing as much support as he could with the clones he sent in. Bayu could sense the two clones attack the bijuu from the behind. Attempting to take the chakra from the bijuu. The Raikage without a pause directed the two Sage clones to go after the two clones. Bijuu chakra was extremely toxic. Its effects were pretty critical on a non-jinchu. They left the side of the main Raijin who was still facing the bijuu. He had to save Tadara first but the bijuu was countering all his attempts. He needed more.

Bayushi flicked his hand and the Garian Sword appeared back as he flew forward directly too Gyuki. With his speed he would serve to strike the bijuu with an attack that could pierce its hide. The Raikage raced into the air covering the distance between them in no time. But it was a full on charge that pierce through the chest of Gyuki. At the same time each Sage clone would fly next to the Tadara clones absorbing chakra. One of the clone would speak, "Their chakra is to dangerous for you. Lets us take it away we can handle it." The clones would quickly grab the Tadara clones and absorb the chakra they had absorb away from them. This would greatly help Raijin stay afloat in this battle. He was already creating a resume for the Red Death.

After decimating the three-pronged attack from the mindful Raikage the Hachibi felt what he assumed to be a tickle of an attack from one of the lesser shinobi still buzzing around him before finding himself ensnared in the paralyzing jutsu that was released. The tactical mind behind it made a classic blunder as Tadara began to absorb the wild chakra contained within the beast, though the ever-present Raijin swooped in to deftly remove this timebomb of condensed chakra from the clones.

Even amongst those who managed to challenge him like this there were few that came to mind with the range of adaptability the Black Flash displayed, managing to land an uncontested hit on Gyūki as he twitched in temporary restraint. Thankfully the sword slash, while mighty to the tiny shinobi, would leave behind nothing more than a shallow cut with his gargantuan size. This hit landed just before returning to the ground, while Gyūki would remain upright and maintain his posture the ground would violently shake with the landing.

While he might be still unable to move, his chakra was still accessible so he began to swirl an oversized Bijūdama in response to his limited caging. Once freed he was willing to blow himself up to decimate his foes, knowing he could take the ensuing hit -and in likelihood Raijin- but not the other pests that remained nearby.

Gyūki Deets:

Tadara felt his jutsu take effect. Good. This showed that even though it was essentially a being of chakra its own chakra could still be paralyzed. Even as they were falling his cloak would shift around him with the wind whistling around them. The Akata slamming off to the side first since it was heavier. However it was still at play it seemed. Regenerating its form even as they entered into an uncontrolled plummet. The Bijuu would take the brunt of the impact and keep them from sinking into the boiling ocean. Still Raijin would appear next to him. Or rather two of them on either side of his clones. The white masked man would shift his eyes briefly to Raijin clone designation Beta. The main body being kept track of as designation alpha. Beta would explain that Bijuu chakra was toxic to most people. His clones removing the affliction from Tadaras own clones. What a useful idea. Simply inject bijuu chakra into a normal person and they begin to die. What a useful tool for any Jinchurikee. Though he suspected his own entity if he had control of it would purify his system it was good that he didn't have to test it. 

"Noted. The body appears briefly affected by paralysis Ninjutsu. However anything within fifty meters would be too. You started outside the range last time so now we time this. I will apply the paralysis again in five seconds from when I stop speaking. Move outside the fifty meter range for the time it takes to spread. Immediately return to battle as soon as its done. I will seal it into a coin. Keep it from doing anything to stop the process. Begin."

With that Tadara would calmly dismiss his clones and raise his fist. As the bijuu hit the water he hit the count of five. Even as it began to charge up again he would slam his fist into the same spot. Dropping another layer of paralysis on it before shifting his fist to a palm. A ryo in his palm as chakra ink spread from his fingertips. The four symbol seal spreading to begin combining the two things. The eight tails and a humble ryo coin. It wasn't designed to be a permanent housing. Just long enough to transfer the seal onto a student...a Jinchurikee experiment. Even as the beam hummed Tadara would activate supernatural walking practice to hold himself in place. It was up to someone else to stop that from happening. With his free hand he would pop his second got pill. The entire time his wax clone continued to play the Ocarina boost while evading the natural disasters deftly. 

175 Chakra:

Lily watched from afar the events unfolding in her eyesight: The Massive Ox-topus becoming paralyzed, the strong one quickly moving in to help his partner, and said mystery partner...well she didn't really know what they were doing. Lily would shake her head, her sight and thoughts getting fuzzy. She had hoped that with the two moving it the beast would give her an opening, alas that didn't seem to be the case. Instead it had been stuck in place like a statue by whatever the mystery partner had done.

As much as Lily didn't like to admit it, with her thoughts and sight getting fuzzy her body was telling her that it was time to go. Being as close to the unexpected volcano, the boiling salty water, and being forced to run around without getting in more then that first hit was pushing her body farther then she had ever done so before. Sure these two seemed to have the beast under wraps, but the fact her body was saying to go sucked! It sucked, it sucked a lot! Gripping her knife, she'd feel the metal begin to bend under the strength that nice music the mystery man played and she'd be forced to relax her grip. To be so strong yet not be able to do much at all.

She needed to become stronger still, to expand her skillset and push her body to the absolute limit. She needed to learn how to use more then knives, no how to properly use knives! Maybe she should pick up a bow like Kit-Kit as well, learn how to use her body properly!

She'd clutch her head, feeling woozier even as she looked at the battle from this distance. Enough watching, she had to go now else she pass out. Luckily for Lily she had a way to get out of here quickly enough. Backing off from the fight moving directly away from Gyuki, once she was a good couple of kilometers away she'd dive under the water and allow her Penguins to reverse summon her back to Vandal, as during her trip away from Kiri they had heard through the grapevine of a 'Chunin Exam' that was coming up. While not the Pits nor the beast, this would give her time to rest & train up for something a bit similar to what she grew up in.

Sailing by but briefly, Hisha saw the most astounding thing. He had been traveling quite extensively as of late, and a few subtle signals had spooked him all well, which spurred further travel. From the deck of the ship, he noted the choppiness that developed along the journey, taking him between lands with which he was quite familiar and those with which he was not. In any case, there seemed to be some kind of storm brewing in the distance, at least for a brief moment. Shortly after the disruption, a flare of light erupted with flashes of light and chakra. 

Hisha rushed to grab a telescope, trying to get a clearer picture of what was going on at the distant island, easily 2.5 kilometers away. At the same time, he took on the senses of Adzuki as well, the bird soaring high above and gaining a better vantage. Incredible. It seemed that the legendary eight tails rampaged freely and had managed to destroy much of this local island. Some figures he did not recognize seemed to oppose it, but he could not get a good read of how well they may or may not be doing. He'd just recently created a new technique which should allow him to bind one of these entities, but seeing it even from this distance left him rooted in place by a primal fear.

Even in his panic, his mind raced to put together the pieces. The quake he and Sero had felt, the attack for the 2 tails, and now this. Something seemed to be happening and he wondered if this may not be the best time for the Chunin exams. But he was already in route.

Exit to Chunin Exams

The two clones absorbed the chakra from the Tadara clones and they expired but not after giving a gameplan to them. The two Sage clones nodded, immediately making the next move. They would both turn into puffs of smoke as they ended the technique. The chakra would go back to Raijin who had just pierced the chest of the biijuu. With renewed vigor at Tadaras plan, Raijin quickly slapped a Flying Thunder God seal on the chest of 8 tailed beast. He put chakra into his sword and flew upwards, dragging the Garian blade through the chest all the way to the neck. There Bayushi would load a large amount of lightning chakra for a Lariat with his other hand.

Using his immense strength to aim a world class uppercut to the head of the bijuu. He had already felt the surge of chakra in the beast and could tell it was preparing another tailed beast bomb. With that blow it would knock the head back and aim the blast in the air. Raijin was well out of range of Tadara's blast already being so high in the air. But he would still lay down a barrage of stabs and punches to the neck of the beast. Dealing continuous high damage would override even a bijuus healing. The Akuta would finish reforming and grab hold from under the bijuu to restrain it even more.

Against all his strained rage and raw power these insignificant shinobi continued to thwart him and the pesky shinobi he perceived to be weaker than the Raikage enacted another paralyzing jutsu. In the precious few seconds between the two restraining techniques Gyūki was able to angle his open mouth downward to release the condensed chakra that had been building in density. Raijin continued to slash away with his tiny sword, while it was perceivable it was nothing compared to what came next.

With a head-splitting wail Gyūki unleashed the built-up chakra beam towards the ground, simultaneously pumping additional chakra into swirling another Bijūdama into existence. The swirling chakra around the already expelling beam would not mix well as the two techniques simply unraveled, resulting in a terrific explosion centered around Gyūki’s mouth. This was enough damage to release the Hachibi from this mortal coil, something he now truly wished for to, if nothing else, delay the attempted sealing of his mighty form into some puny shinobi as their kind too often did.

Gyūki longed to slumber, to have his troubles be the truly mundane and not always a pitted fight for his life with these chakra-laden creatures. He hoped this technique would be enough to snuff his own light out and the two still around him, at the very least he would likely be leaving this plane of existence for a short while before returning with a redoubled vigor to continue what began this day.

Gyūki Deets:

Tadara would measure the reaction of everything around him. He was bent on maintaining his position on the seal. Raijin had one job to do for the moment. However he saw what was the major issue here. Raijin had to fight conservatively but his might could not be questioned. Had his weapon been more effective he would have slain the beast. The charged beam however would be dealt with in an interesting way. The fist rising into the sky outside his paralysis range and slamming into the Bijuu's chin. Snapping it's mouth shut. However the beam would not burst forth. Instead Tadara would note the second detonation noise and immediately react. His one free hand would thrust forward to utilize his most powerful technique. He was calculating as he took the risk. The Bijuu had proven it was durable and had tanked a great deal already. He estimated it's constitution rating had to be S tier. The technique was powerful and spreading but it would be weakened from having to go through the bijuu to hit anything else. His hand would raise and a 40 meter blast would erupt forth. His goal wasn't to cancel out the weakened X rank technique. 

Instead he had considered that it took three S rank techniques to completely cancel out what would be considered X tier. The constitution counted as one already in his calculations. The blasts purpose was only to carve out a path around himself. To split the blast to either side around him and afford him a pocket of safety. Hopefully Raijin would use the Akuta to guard Tadara and handle himself and the rest of the blast. The clone with the Ocarina would have to back peddle at full speed to escape to two hundred and one meters. Having seen this already and noted its range. Appropriate display of power. However he would return as soon as the blast faded. Playing the same tune. Despite the Bijuu likely being dead with no head. Normally this would be a point to give up. However Tadara would lower his hand with the steam rising from it and place it on the corpse. The head had taken the brunt but the body...enough was left. Enough was left of the heart. Enough for an experiment. With the bijuu dead enough for his purposes Tadara would set about forcing the massive heart to beat. Theoretically if the heart was still beating it wasn't dead and the hypothesis was it could not fade to energy until its heart stopped. 

His honey colored eyes would shift to look for Raijin as he felt the wave of chakra leave him. Both of them were weaker now. Weakened by this battle that had seemed beyond them. Yet both still stood and lived. Assuming Raijin approached him and the bijuu was being sealed into the coin still Tadara would return to focusing on his work. His words monotone as only sweat indicated that this had been a struggle. He was impressively numb to the sheer intensity of their undertaking. 

"We aren't the only survivors. Keep on guard for others while I finish the sealing process. This is our points to collect. And I have just the experiment for it."

110 Chakra:

The Raikage could sense the buildup of another blast within the beast as he ripped into it. Bijuu blood was all over his bod as he looked up. He means to destroy himself. Raijin thought as he quickly planted his feet on the neck and kicked off. His wings and boosters helping him blasted backwards. Even he would not test his survivability behind a fully powered tailed beast bomb. Gyuki would bellow a mighty roar before an explosion rang from its head. The Akuta however would not survive a second blast like this, but it still made note of Tadara in his space. The Akuta would move quickly to guard against the blast by moving its body in front of Tadara.

The wind beat off the face of Bayu as he blasted through the air getting away from the blast with his immense speed. As soon as as he got out the range of the blast which extended past 200 meters. Raijin looked back at their conquest. Gyuki was defeated. Its body would hit the ground and the tornadoes and earthquakes would finally settle down. Raijin quickly flew back to Tadara. Everyone else had fled as Raijin could no longer sense anyone within a kilometer with his Negative Emotion sense. The Akuta dissipated after protecting Tadara from the blast.

Meeting his comrade who was elated that they had survived the fight. "I can sense no one nearby but I will be alert. We have done the impossible. We defeated a tailed beast. I'm sure this will be a good notch on my resume for Raikage. And I am eager to see what we can do with it. Hopefully you can preserve it. I must do some investiagtions myself. Something is causing the bijuus to stir as Kurama is also in a rage inside me. I can no longer transform. There is a bigger play awry. We have to let Ren know as well. I'm sure he'll be interested.

Raijin looked back at the bijuu. Covered in its blood, he knew that it could still be useful in the coming days. His army could be brought back even stronger with the power of a bijuu.

As Gyūki’s explosive beam of chakra fired, the blindingly fast Raikage delivered a final and decisive blow that was able to be mitigated by the whipping of Gyūki’s head from the ferocious power behind the chakra cannon that allowed him to avoid the head on attack. This caused the beam to fire harmlessly into the sky, thwarted once more. As Raijin’s attack just barely clipped the Gyūki’s head his vision began to spin, the final straw that caused the wobbling of the camel’s legs before its inevitable fall. This interrupted the swirling mass of chakra he strove to disrupt the beam with as both techniques unraveled but in less of a spectacular explosion than he had hoped as his chakra dwindled. The shinobi that paralyzed him tried to enact some jutsu but nothing happened, he was entirely too drained to do anything about it even if it was a threatening move.

With his large form slumping over the Hachibi was left barely alive from the prolonged fight, the anger that had been building seemed to shrink as did his consciousness as his grasp on this physical world began to loosen.

Gyūki Deets:

Tadara would continue to focus on the seal as the intricate chakra ink would spread and form more patterns. Four layers shifting slowly over one another as the Bijuu would collapse. Helpless and unconscious in what had been a final ditch effort to ward off its captors. Raijin had held the majority of its focus and wore it down to this point. The world was already returning to normal around them as he could feel its slumbering state under his palm. Too exhausted to keep swatting at bothersome pests. Still the seal was nearly done. He could feel it absorbing the power of the bijuu into the coin. The metal rumbling under his palm as the eight tails remaining chakra and form would begin to flow into it. Still the matter he had discussed with Raijin was the primary focus point. 

"It is good that we are alone. I require mere moments more to seal this creature away and utilize it to grow the lights power. The test subject I have in mind will do nicely as a Jinchurikee to observe. Still these final moments will be crucial. After I would ask that you teleport us out of here. Before someone does come to pry further. "






Maintaining seal 3/4 posts

The beast had fallen finally. Raijin floated backwards slowly as his Lariat licked the head of Gyuki sending a terrifying beam into the sky. The beam burst through the cloud clearing the skies from the power alone. Gyuki fell to the ground and Tadara was continuing his sealing progress. His sensory still on he would fly down to meet Tadara and they would quickly agree that this a monumental victory but needed to claim their prize before long. "You're right. I'll be ready for anymore visitors." Then he would be waiting for Tadara to seal the 8 tailed beast. And take their prize. Raijin flicked the blood off the Garian Sword. It disappeared back into the seals on his wrist. He was aware of the many visitors they had with his Negative Emotion sensor. They were noted.

The light continue to fade from Gyūki's eyes as the squabbling shinobi around him began the tortuous sealing process. Not tortuous in the physical sense, but the shackling of a bijū and ripping away their freedom was a cruel act that he and his brothers and sisters knew well.

Again he would try to move himself so at the very least his looming form could fall and crush the weaker of the two but even that slight of a motion proved out of his reach, adding to his sense of helplessness and ire for whatever poor soul they crammed him within.

He would certainly make it his life's goal to make their life a living hell, hoping it to be some weak small fry that he could more easily manipulate to making a mistake and releasing him from his to-be prison.

The seal was finished. The chakra ink spread around the coin would retreat into the coin itself. Compacted and layered until the coin itself was turned black with overlaying layers of chakra ink. However this was just due to the size of the sealing container. Within the coin would house one of the worlds greatest powers. The bijuu had no energy left to shift itself into a more advantageous position. It could have rolled in an attempt to drown Tadara maybe but the time it would take to seal...even with the heated water he would need to endure it was within tolerable levels now. Soon the body would turn to a swirling purple energy before the swirl would enter into the black coin. Tadara would let his chakra control keep him above the surface of the water. His wax clone would return and melt after handing him the Ocarina. With that he would slip the coin into its own plastic casing. To keep it from being casually exposed to anything. The seal was in place and now he could conduct his experiment. He cared nothing for how the captured tool felt. As he had cared nothing for the dying woman in the castle when he utilized her power. 

"Let us return to base. This island is reduced to a negative point value. However we managed to accomplish our objective. I will make note of your efforts and prowess."

Tadara would slip the coin into his inner coat breast pocket in it's case for now. His would be student would prove an ideal candidate for observing the growth of a Jinchurikee as he had their current statistics. Having evaluated them recently himself. He showed no joy in this successful venture but he would not hesitate to leave this place. Even more power for the light had been gathered. This time with some witnesses but they had no real way of knowing who the two were. Not with brand new faces. Nor had they done anything illegal. The worst case scenario was the intel of who held the eight tails getting out. He would have preferred it to remain unknown for a time. Still they were not beholden to answer any questions regarding Gyuki. Not with Raijin taking on the seat of Raikage under his new face and name. The backing of being Kage of a major nation meant they didn't readily have to face the scrutiny of the other nations. Still if Raijin teleported them out Tadara would go willingly.  

Attempted exit

It was finally done. Raijin would lift his head to see the 8-tailed beast stir and try one final attempt to squash them. But to no avail, no energy left and the seal was working. The giant body began to disappear into a swirl of power straight into the coin Tadara held. They had captured the 8 tails. Normally this would be a time of celebration, however they had much business to attend to with this find. It was what made nations a super power in this world. With two the Light would be invaluable. The Akuta would return to the Earth and it disappear into the volcanic land. Raijin would also set a seal on ground. A way to return to Kiko island for the future.

"Lets get out of here." Raijin would grab Tadara, while also activating his Flying Thunder God jutsu. Taking them back to their hideout.
