 Welcome to Gladius! Here you will learn how to create your very own character in the world of Kishin. In order to play, you must create and have a character approved. Format Use the following format to create your character. You will create a new thread Here and use the format and fill it out.
Format Explanation Character Name Simply put, it's your character's name. You cannot name your character after a Naruto Character (so no Naruto Uzumaki or Sakura Haruno) and you cannot name your character after well-known people in real life (So no shinobi named Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, or Saltbae). You must give your character a first and last name. Your username must reflect this as well. Character Age Minimum age is 10. Everyone starts off at, at least Genin. This is just your character's age at the time of registration. Standard flow of time on this site is every 6 IRL months = 1 IC year. You are free to age them at any pace you desire (as long as the age goes up and not down). Character Sex This is your character's biological sex and not your character's gender expression. So either male or female. You may choose to express your character with any gender expression you want In-Character and at your own leisure. But for the sake of this registration, it's biological sex. Character Appearance Describe what your character looks like. Their height, weight, body structure, hair color, hair style, skin color, complexion, eye color, eye shape, what they wear and how they wear it. Just describe your character's appearance. This is primarily your starting appearance and we know appearances change as characters grow (both in age and as a person). Character Personality Describe your character's personality. Can also explain their likes, dislikes, fears, etc. Even little quirks in their personality. This may also change over time, but it should give you some guidance on how to roleplay your character. Character History Describe your character's history. If it's too long, put it in a spoiler. Starting Village Currently the only villages you can join are: :: Konohagakure (Closed due to Overpopulation) :: Kirigakure :: Iwagakure :: :: Your Starting Village will be determined by your character's Clan (more on that later). Character's Rank If you're brand new, you will be a Genin. For Jounin Characters, read more down later. Character's Title Only applies to Jounin Characters. New characters or Genin characters, can leave blank. Character's Clan You can find the list of clans Here. Clans are sorted between villages and those not affiliated with villages. You are capable of taking a clan from the village you plan on joining. You may also choose to take on an Unaffiliated Clan. Villages that aren't open for registration will be considered an Unaffiliated Clan until they are re-opened for registration. You cannot create a limited clan on your first character. Character's Skills You can find a list of Skills Here. Starting as a Genin, you will start with 4 Skills. These skills are important as they can determine what your character can do. If you are taking a Clan that is NOT an advanced element, it will cost you 1 Skill. You will gain more skills as you Class-Up. Unique Abilities You can find a list of Unique Abilities Here. These are special abilities that you can pick from or even create your own (but they'll be highly scrutinized). You may choose up to 4 Unique Abilities upon character creation. Stats You can find the rules for your stats Here Everyone starts off with 1650 Spendable Experience Points that they can use. Unused Spendable EXP from Character Creation WILL NOT follow you. So use those 1650 or lose them. You are capable of gaining more EXP at character creation by doing the following: 1) You may trade your Skill Points (up to 3 times for those with a clan | up to 4 times for those that are clan-less). Each time giving you +500 Spendable EXP and increasing your max Stat Raises by 1. Cannot use this to "pay off" Experience Advantage Unique Ability debt. Will not follow you after Character Registration if you have that Unique Ability. 2) You can take Experience Advantage Unique Ability. For Genin characters, you can take up to 995 Experience to add to your Character Registration but will go into debt for the same amount. Protip: Use ONLY what you need to minimize the debt. Spendable EXP from this UA will not follow you beyond Character Registration. This is where you spend your Spendable EXP on your stats. Everyone starts with E-Tier Stats in all 7 stats. You are required to spend your spendable EXP given/traded for within Character Registration on those stats. You may increase these stats further, after Character Registration, in your Character Updates. You will start off with a maximum of 20 stat raises (the amount of times you can increase your stats). This can be increased to 23 via Skill Trades (24 if you are Clanless). Other EXP Expenditures This is where you put other expenditures to include expenditures into your Clan. Jonin Characters Follow the same, but you will start off as a Jonin in your starting Village. In order to do this, you are required to have successfully completed an Activity Check. Total EXP You will start off with 2000 EXP as your Total EXP. You start off as a B-Class Nin. Spendable EXP for Jonin Characters You will start with 3650 Spendable EXP. Due to having a Jonin start, you will not gain the bonus Spendable EXP for making Chuunin nor Jonin Rank. You may still gain EXP for doing trades and EXP debt. Skills You get 6 Skill Points to use. Title Give yourself a title for your character. This title will be similar to "The Yellow Flash" that Minato would have. Gaining free Restricted Unlike people who start as a D Class Genin, those who start as a B Class Jonin will have to wait until X Class to get their free Restricted choice. Other Rules
Limited Clans You are capable of gaining a Limited Clan upon clearing at least 1 Activity Check. You are capable of having up to 2 Limited Clans (one limited clan for one character, another limited clan on another character -- may not have 2 limited clans on a single character), nor can you have 2 characters with the same Limited Clan (You cannot have 2 Otsutsuki characters). You are capable of taking on the following Limited Clans:
+ Nature Clan + Dead Flesh Pulse Clan + Otsutsuki Clan (Currently unavailable) Roll-Over Experience Doesn't apply to brand new people. You are capable of doing a roll-over of experience from a dead/retired character onto a new character. 25% of the TOTAL Exp of the retired/dead character can be added onto a D Rank Genin's Total EXP. This will affect that character's starting Spendable EXP. Isekai'd Characters
