Restricted List Anything listed with a * will be considered a Limited Restricted with only a certain number of people able to obtain this Restricted. To see who has the Restricted or any available slots, click the Restricted.
Restricted Rules
Types of Restricteds There are 3 primary types of Restricteds. While more than Restricteds are tracked here, we will outline the three different types of Restricteds. - Entity Level Restricteds
- Enhanced State Restricteds
- Restricted Techniques
Obtaining a Restricted There are generally only 5 ways to obtain a Restricted. - Class Up
You gain a Restricted (of any slot) upon reaching S Class if your character started from D Class. This will be changed to X Class if your character started from B Class. You may choose whichever Entity, Enhanced State, or Restricted Techniques are available. You may also create Custom Enhanced States or Restricted Techniques -- May NOT create custom Entities in this manner.- Given Restricted
Some Restricteds may be 'given' or 'taught'. Accepting the teaching/giving of these Restricteds will give you that specific Restricted. This is one of the only times you are just given a Restricted.- Turning Down Restricted
When offered a Restricted, you are capable of 'turning down' that Restricted. When you turn down a Restricted, you are capable of replacing that Turned Down Restricted for something of equal (or lesser rank) from the Canon list or creating something of equal or lesser rank as a Custom. This does NOT include Entities -- you cannot make Custom Entities that aren't Canon in this manner. - Example: You were offered the Enhanced State: Eight Gates in Konoha. You turned it down. Now you are capable of taking another Enhanced State/Restricted Technique from the Canon List or you are capable of creating a custom Enhanced State/Restricted Technique for yourself.
- Taking Restricted
Just like you are able to be taught Restricteds, some Restricteds you are allowed to take. Village Exclusive Restricteds generally come in scrolls that you can steal. You can simply steal those exclusives.- Renown
Once you reach a certain Renown threshold, you are capable of obtaining a Restricted Technique Slot. Once you go further, you may fill that slot with a Restricted Technique.
NOTE: There is a caveat to this. If you have a scroll for a Village Exclusive Restricted and you have full access to that scroll (Such as being Kage or Jonin Commander), you can't be given the scroll to turn down yourself. Same with stealing the scroll. You can't steal it yourself and turn it down yourself in order to get a different Restricted. NOTE: Essentially, you are given 2 for hitting milestones (one at Class Up and one at Renown). Everything else must be acquired IC. NOTE: A user may gain a 4th Restricted Slot used ONLY for Restricted Techniques upon reaching a certain Renown Milestone.
Losing a Restricted There are several ways you can lose a Restricted. This applies to Restricteds that are limited to a certain number of people (such as Bijuu or teleportation type restricteds) unless stated otherwise.- Going Inactive: If you go inactive and fail 1 Activity Check, your slot will open up but you will not fully lose your Restricted. Upon failing 2 consecutive Activity Checks, you will completely lose the Restricted. This will be stated in your Updates.
- Retirement/Storage: If you retire your character, or put them into storage, you will completely lose your Restricted. So just keep that in mind.
- Banned from the Site: This, obviously, goes without saying
- Character Death: Another obvious answer. However, if you're a Jinchuuriki and you die, your Bijuu/Entity will run loose at the site of death.
- Restricted Extracted: This mainly only applies to Restricteds with something to remove. This doesn't ONLY apply to just Limited Restricteds. (Examples: Having a Bijuu withdrawn from a Jinchuuriki, having Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan removed from the user's face, etc.) This won't apply to everything, but only things that make sense can be pulled out from the user. (You can't pull out the 8 Gates from a user -- it makes no sense)
Restricted Slots The 'standard' for Restricteds Slots are:- 1 Entity Restricted
- 1 Enhanced State Restricted
- 2 Restricted Techniques (1 of the 2 are locked behind a certain Renown Milestone)
This, however, can be altered by doing 'down trades'. You are capable of trading down to the next rank. - So you may have 2 Enhanced States and 2 Restricted Techniques for the cost of your 1 Entity Restricted Slot.
- You may have 1 Entity Restricted and 3 Restricted Techniques for the cost of your Enhanced State Slot.
- Or, if you really want, you can have 0 Entities, 0 Enhanced States, 4 Restricted Techniques by trading down your Entity and Enhanced State down to Restricted Techniques
Keep in mind, if you trade down that slot, you cannot fulfill that slot. (Unless you do a reset).
Custom Restricted You are capable of creating Custom Restricteds, but there are some limitations: - Custom Entity
- You are NOT allowed to create a Custom Entity at this point in time. If there is an Entity Level Restricted that is Canon Adjacent (novels, games, manga, filler, movies, etc) then it can be made and it will be placed in the Canon Entities. You cannot make one that is completely custom/made-up.
- Custom Enhanced State
This can be created upon reaching S/X Rank. If you don't want any of the Enhanced States available, you can just create your own. If you're going to make a Custom Sage Mode, it must follow the same rules as a Sage Mode with you, effectively only being able to change the Kata, the stat distribution, the theme of the Sage Mode, and the Exclusive Level Technique/Perk. Otherwise, it must follow similar rules that other Enhanced States follow.- Restricted Techniques
These are the strongest techniques on the site. These will be graded on a case-by-case basis.
Apping Canon Restricted When you app a Canon Restricted, ensure the Restricted is, first off, related to Canon. Providing a link to the Naruto Wiki would be a good use. Also ensure that, when you are apping the Restricted, to properly assess whether it's a Restricted Technique, Enhanced State, or Entity Level Restricted. The staff may ask you to alter the Restricted Level if it seems too powerful.
Once approved, a member of Staff will make a post where the other Restricteds are and will add it to the list of Canon Restricteds. Unless it's a travel/teleportation technique, there will be no need for a limited amount of users having it.
Limits to Restricted
- The user may only start with 1 Limited Clan at Character Creation (this includes Dual KKG). The user may only have 1 character (out of all of their owned characters) that have a Limited Clan character.
- Note on Dual KKG: You may not Dual KKG with a Limited Clan. IE: You cannot have Dual KKG with Nature Clan.
- The user may only have 1 Bijuu (Tails 1-9) on one character out of all of their owned characters. This is to ensure more people have a chance at getting a Bijuu rather than the same person having 3 characters with 3 Bijuu.
- The user may not have the same Limited Restricted on multiple characters. So you can't have 2 of your own characters have Flying Thunder God. Same reason as above
Limited Clans Limited Clans -- including Dual KKG are exactly that -- limited. Only a certain number of people can take on these Limited Clans. In order to gain a Limited Clan, you are required to birth a character as a member of a Limited Clan. In order to be able to use a Limited Clan (that's available), you are required to have a character pass a single Activity Check before you can create a character that has a Limited Clan.- Dual KKG: 15 Slots available
- Gravity Clan: 2 Slots available
- Dead Flesh Pulse, Nature Clan: 5 Slots each
- Otsutsuki Clan: 7 Slots (1 for each Path of Pain)
Limited Techniques These techniques are not classified as Restricted Techniques, but are limited in some way. Example being Kamui from the Uchiha.
Limited Summons Each limited summon has their own special requirement in order to obtain. Limited Summons also gain the benefit of 1 additional Skill Point. |
