Tag Hunt 9

Mission:

Ren felt better after facing the illusion of Hanabi, after all of he had to fight people from his mind he would rather it be the ones that he didn't like than people he did. As he had this thought Ren would hear a low growl coming from deeper in the castle, a growl that he recognized. Rounding the corner Ren would come to face a dark room, when suddenly there would be a flash of lightning that would illuminate the room revealing Tengoku standing within. Ren wondered if this was an illusion as well or if this was the real Tengoku, as it struck him as something the real Tengoku would do, he half expected the man to tell him to stand down that he would take it from there. Instead there was only a low growl come from the man before a bolt of lightning would shoot out from him at Ren, ending any doubt that the man was an illusion or not, despite their dislike for each other, Ren doubted the Hokage would just attack for no reason, but at the same time this was the first time an illusion attacked with an element. It was likely the fact that he was getting closer to the woman, and the illusions were getting stronger, but he couldn't be sure. An arrow would strike the ground at his feet causing him to look up and see that the illusion of Tengoku was not alone and had four Anbu with him. This was definitely different then the previous illusions but still did not concern Ren, forming a single hand seal Ren would release a wave of fire. Sure that this would take care of the illusions as it had in the past, Ren would frown when he would see the flames shrink and disappear revealing the illusionary Tengoku standing with his hand up, making it clear that it wasn't just his appearance that the illusion was mimicking but the man's ability to absorb jutsu. While this changed his plans, it did not deter him, disappearing and then reappearing behind one of the Anbu Ren would snap their neck before taking their bow and firing an arrow at the other three before firing at Tengoku. While the first three would find their marks in the Anbu illusions, the one aimed at Tengoku would fall short, plummeting to the ground before it got close to him. Every attack Ren made the illusionary Tengoku was able to counter, causing the fight to draw out longer than Ren wanted until finally he was able to get the upper hand and skewer the illusionary man with his own blade. Ripping the tag from its placement, Ren would drop to one knee as he tried to catch his breath after that fight.
