Tag Hunt 1

Mission:

The loom and doom of the castle was impressive to say the least, even if it was a little over the top in Ren's opinion. They said it was some kind of Genjutsu, but even with his three tomoe Sharingan active he could not find any flaws or signs that it was an illusion as they claimed. Ren wasn't the greatest when it came to Genjutsu, but he knew enough to know that there were very few Genjutsu that his Sharingan could not see through. The fact that he couldn't meant that if this was in fact some sort of illusion it was far beyond even the Sharingan, on par or better than the famous Tsukiyomi. Ren would push the thought from his mind, he would be in trouble if this was in fact an illusion, rather than thinking about that, Ren decided it would be best to focus on the reason he was sent in to this place to begin with and that was to find as many of these tags that are holding the castle in this realm and preventing it from being removed. He wasn't sure what he was looking for, but he knew he would know it when he saw it. Moving through the dank halls of the castle Ren would soon find exactly what he was looking for, a small tag seal on the far wall of a room. As Ren would move into the room, the door would suddenly slam behind him. As he turned to look behind him, Ren would be met with the sight of a blank wall with no door. Despite the fact that he knew he just came through a doorway, when he touched the wall it was solid, and he could not feel even the slightest hint of a door knob or even a hinge. As he turned to look back around the room, he was met with the sight of three men standing in front of where he had seen the tag. It was possible that one of them was behind this, using some sort of earth release technique or something, but he should have been able to sense them doing something like that and why was it that he couldn't sense the three of them when he first looked in the room. Was it possible that they had some sort of technique that allowed them to move unseen and unheard, as well as hiding their chakra. Ren knew of a few techniques that could do such, in fact he had them, but he seriously doubt that these three knew them from the way they all looked. Of course, the thought crossed his mind that the three were illusions, but as one threw a kunai and it cut a single strand of his hair, Ren knew that was a possibility. Ren's eyes would glow and his hands would move like lightning as he formed a string of hand seals, within seconds the room was filled with fire. Just as quickly as the fire started it would go out, leaving Ren alone in the fun once more. Reaching out Ren would grip the seal and yank it from the wall, turning back towards where the hall should be to see the opened door leading to the hallway. It wasn't clear whether it was from killing the three men or from removing the tag, but whatever the case he could now leave the room and continue his search for more tags.
