Waking from a long slumber

Darkness, that was the only thing that zenaku could see. It expanded to even the farthest reaches of his sight. It was as if zenaku was trapped in a large dark void, floating endlessly as if the vaccumes of space. That was when he suddenly felt heavy, his whole body was no longer light like a feather but instead he now felt like he weighed over a thousand pounds.

Be he could also feel that there was something under him keeping him from falling down though that darkness of the void. For what was under him was a bed or so that was what it felt like. Zenaku tried to open his eyes from that dream like state he was in, tho no matter how hard he tried his eyes would just not open. Each eye felt like trying to left two houses at the same time, but eventually he finally managed to Crack his eyes open only to be hit with a blinding shot of bright light.

Blurry, that was all he could see at the moment. Slowly his eyes started to come into focus more as things around him started to come into picture more clearly. He moved his head around slowly, gathering about his surroundings for a good ninja always knows what's around him at all times. There was medical supply, a sheet draped around his bed to block out praying eyes. His whole body felt sore but that was probably cause of all the time he laid there. But that was another thing just how long had he been out for and just what has happened while he was out.

It was just then that the dropping that went around his bed opened up and a lady waring a nurses outfit walked though and stood by his side while she held a clip bored in one hand while taking notes with her other. She looked down and saw zenaku eyes opened. " Dr the young Uchiha who was in a coma has awoken. You might want to get in here."

Minutes later a middle aged man with a gote walked in and started checking up on zenaku update. He started to check his motor functions,reflexes, response time and so far all was working good. The two of them did some talking and after that he left, seemed that zenaku would still have to spend some time in the hospital in order to get his strength back and after that he could get back to doing his ninja duties.

He did find it odd that he was even in the hospital with a coma in the first place. The last thing that the young Uchiha remembered was he was training some new jutsu for a upcoming mission for tengoku. But that is the last memory of having before going into that coma.

The Dr explained to the young Uchiha that he still had 1 week left before he could leave the hospital, they still wanted to run a few more tests before they let him go. Zenaku understood so he didn't try to argue back and just nodded his head instead.

Today now marked the one week he had left inside of the hospital which was located inside of the land of fire. It was now time to get back out there to continue his ninja duties. He was now fully dressed and last thing he put on was his ninja headband. Looking outside zenaku noticed there was two spring birds chirping away. That could at least tell from that what part of the year it was, but it did not tell him just how long he was out for.

He wasn't even sure if his old rival and friend tengoku was even hokage anymore and this made him want to find some answers. He would need to go out and find a few people and catch up but at the same time this will give the Uchiha a way to catch up on current events.
