Long time no see:

Zenaku decided that it was about time to say hi to a old friend, which was Tengoku. He had not seen his friend since the last time they hung out well it was more like they had a spar but same thing really. The last time zenaku had actually seen him tho was back at the funeral for nyg, they did not really talk much.

Zenaku walked up the steps and toward the hokage office, zenaku still had not had the opportunity to thank him for the promotion to Jonin. Walking up Zenaku knocked on the door then waited tell he could hear a come in before entering.

Tengoku would sit behind his desk. A white ceramic mug of black coffee sitting to his right on a coaster. Steam slowly rising off of it as its scent became predominant in the room. Over the smell of paper and ink. It was mostly untouched save for a couple of sips he had already taken out of it. He had been pouring over the reports and allocating funds to refugees. As of yet there was no outcry for justice in a foreign nation however. One they didn't share ties to diplomatically. He did not condone what had happened in Suna nor think that iwagakure had any right to do so. However the world had suffered a great deal of war already and none of the other villages had moved. If konoha did again it would likely be war and they could stand alone. A weakened position with already weak alliances. Opening their back door to hostile attempts. He couldn't spare the manpower against a place such as Iwa or Suna now. Chen was an unknown variable but even their own nation didn't speak out against the mans actions. That aside...his fingers shifted a new paper to his desk from his hand as he studied this one as well...Shin was waiting for a reason.

Still the sound of steps coming up the stairs would make his wolf like ears twitch. It was just after sunrise. So early in the AM most of the staff hadn't arrived yet. The sun just having peaked over the forest and filling the village with light. People had begun their early morning work of course. Warehouses and coffee shops...even places serving breakfast or about to open up shop for the day. For their peaceful nation it was just another morning. The refugees had been provided some temporary housing thanks to the senju just outside the walls as well as clothes...food and water. He wasn't sure where to place them beyond that yet. Luckily their response had managed the tragedy reaching them so far. However something more permanent had to be done. His eyes shifted to the door before the knock came. He could sense the man on the other side of the door. The new clan leader of the Uchiha...Zenaku. He had encountered the man before all this business...before either of them had been promoted or reached their current office. He wondered idly if the man would be the same.

"Come in Zenaku."

Tengoku would call out. Setting down the papers before picking up his coffee and taking a sip. The bitter liquid hitting his tongue but not hot enough to scold it. The energy was needed of course. Still if Zenaku entered the first thing he might notice was something blatantly different about Tengoku. The whites of his eyes had turned black and the amber irises had shifted to a more gold color with a shining sliver down the middle. A dojutsu he didn't have before that had never been seen. That perhaps no one else in the world had. Yet a warm if not tired smile painted his features. He hadn't gone home the night before. Too much work to be done.

"Shall I have some coffee brought for you? How do you take it?"

Once the uchiha had heard the hokage say to come in zenaku would slowly open the door to the office as he walked inside. The smell of coffee and ink could be heavenly noticed as well as a large stack of paperwork sitting in front of the hokage. It looked as if Tengoku had not left the office all night but then again being hokage was not all fun and games. As he saw the hokage he noticed that there was something different about his eyes, they was not the same as they was before, a contact maybe or did the hokage get his hands on a dojutsu that he had never seen before.

As zenaku sat down he noticed the paperwork that was in front of Tengoku and there was something about suna. It really was sad news about what happened over there, one man being able to do all that damage, it was almost unheard of. Tho with how tension was between nations right now any one trying to move out towards suna would spark another all out war which was something that konoha did not need seeing as the last war had them in it as well. The hokage would ask zenaku if he would like some coffee brought to him, normally he did not drink coffee but to be polite he would take up the offer.

" Yes please, some milk and three cubes of suger."

Zenaku would reply. " It's good to see you again Tengoku, it really has been some time. Congratulations on becoming the hokage, I also wanted to thank you for my nice little promotion to Jonin. "

Zenaku said as he chuckled and scratched the back of his messy black hair. Tho if zenaku knew the hokage as well as he did he could probably bet that he had something which only zenaku would be able to handle.

Tengoku would watch the man around his own age enter the room. He seemed older now. More collected and without as much youthful exuberance. More mature in some ways. Still the order for his specific coffee would be heard by one of the guards. Security was tight around the administration building and the vault as of late with all the dangers out in the world. Still Tengoku seemed comfortable with Zenaku entering the same room as him. Some Uchiha made him uneasy but Zenaku he knew personally. If only briefly. They had crossed blades and he got a good measure of the man. Despite his use of genjutsu the man seemed to fight fair. Even when he eventually barely lost he took it with ease and set his pride aside. Something Tengoku had trouble with. Still that was some time ago and both had matured. It wasn't something Tengoku was as confident about anymore. Still Zenaku would take a seat and Tengoku would watch those eyes wander. Observing everything in the room and even making eye contact with him. However choosing not to comment on the obvious dojutsu that Tengoku now had seemingly out of nowhere. Perhaps he was attempting to be polite.

Still Zenaku would congratulate and thank him in the same breath and Tengoku would sit back in his chair. His coffee raising to his lips as he crossed his left arm under the elbow of his right. Looking rather relaxed for the moment. "Nothing that wasn't fully earned Zenaku. You have done your duty to the village enough to be recognized for it." With that the mans coffee and a coaster would be brought in another white ceramic mug. It wasn't professionally made but it was as he had asked. The guard would set it on the coaster on the desk and step back outside the room. Closing the door behind him to allow for privacy. As was expected of him. Tengoku would glance with those pitch black and gold eyes to the door a moment before his right ear twitched. The man would likely hear the meeting but that couldn't be helped. Zenaku should be able to handle anyone coming after him if word got out for his mission. That was of course if he even took it. For now Tengoku would stick with small talk.

"I hear you have become the clan leader of the most potent clan in Konoha. Congratulations. Thats a lot of responsibility."

Zenaku would nod at the guard that brought him his coffee as he watched the man walk out of the room before he closed it. Tho he could not see though walls the same way the hyuga clan could zenaku tho could see the color of the guards chakra standing outside of the hallway. Picking up his cup he would slightly blow on it to help cool off his drink as he placed the white cup to his lips and took a sip from his coffee. Tengoku said that he had fully earned his title of Jonin as the village recognized him and the deeds he had done.

He listed as the hokage made notice that zenaku was now the leader of the Uchiha clan, he said that was gonna be a lot of responsibility. That was true it really was especially getting the village and the uchiha to see eye to eye.

" Thank you Hokage and your right it is a lot of responsibility, like you I have the whole clan looking at me to make tough decisions tho I would say being the leader of a whole village is even more responsibility. All I know is it's gonna take a lot of work to undo the damage that previous generation of Uchiha has made for me, first was akihero then kimiko going rouge, and who knows what other damage has been done in the shadows "

Zenaku would say as he took another sip of his coffee, it was rare to find anyone that could make such good coffee besides his mom of course. He could tell from the hokage keeping to small talk that there was something else on his mind but for now zenaku would indulge the hokage.

Tengoku would smile a little coyly at the mention of the whole village being a lot of responsibility. That much was true. He felt the weight of it daily. But he would not turn down his duty to these people. He needed to remain Hokage to provide stability in a world where his office was a revolving door and they played musical chairs under the hokage hat. Still he loved this village and its people. However some other names would be dropped and Tengoku would return to a rather passive frown. Akihiros damage had mostly already been dealt with. One way or another. There were burned bridges but time would see those repaired. If time were allowed. Hence the other name being more of an issue. That particular young lady was anything but a small stone in the path to overlook. She was a rolling boulder heading right for the farm cart. It was only a matter of time before she acted...and as such he was hesitant for him to ask anyone to move outside the protection of the village...yet alone an Uchiha who she had sworn to target...well rather the elders and Satomi who had executed her lover or brother or something. Those details were written down but evaded him at the moment. Was it classmate? No...too minimal a reason.

Still he would take a breath and speak in return. Eyes meeting Zenakus as he spoke. There was some exhaustion there under the eyes...in the form of tinted dark bags....but those pitch black eyes with the glowing golden animal like slit in the center. They distracted from all of it. It was a power only Tengoku was beginning to understand and as of yet there was no record of it....the medics said he shared similarities with the blood samples of the indiana but they didn't understand it beyond that. Still there was a warmth and honesty even now in those eyes.

"Its true...the Uchiha have a tendency of having a strong reaction to their beliefs. But they are hardly the biggest issue in the village. Aside from Kimiko going rogue the only step out of line out of the entire clan made was one Yuichi Uchiha going rogue. However I have heard impressive things about his behavior and abilities. Do you feel having him watched is unnecessary at this point? Should his probation be ended? More importantly...are you willing to accept responsibility for him if I do?"

Taking another sip of his delicious coffee zenaku noticed the dark bags under Tengoku eyes. He could tell that the hokage had been working very hard. Tengoku said that the Uchiha did have a strong believe in there feelings, but they was hardly the biggest issue in the village. He would mention that besides kimiko going rouge the only one to step out of line was a Yuichi Uchiha. It was weird hearing his name pop up seeing as he was one of zenaku advisor in the clan but he asked if zenaku thought he needed to be watched. He asked if zenaku would take responsibility of yuichi should his prohibition be lifted.

" Yes yuichi is a odd one in the clan, he is still young and easily influenced. But I don't believe he needs the be watched, I have my eyes on him, I made the boy one of my advisors in order to keep him close at hand. If he decides to try anything stupid I will personally handle it."

Zenaku would say as he finished his cup of coffee, it just made since that he or one of his own handled eternal affairs inside the clan.

Tengoku would nod and find the position of advisor surprising and bold. It seemed that despite how it might seem to the village itself they would do as they saw fit. Or perhaps Yuichi had simply earned back trust with those close to him. All of the reports he had on him were from Uchiha though...so maybe not biased but still all good. He hadn't done anything foolish since and had even participated in the indianas takedown in some regard. He had his own list of missions he had accomplished as well. Now it seemed he had a clan leaders ear as well. Interesting lad.

"Very well. The attempt to flee the village will be expunged from his official record. Feel free to tell him yourself....on the same note he is an accomplished and it turns out influential shinobi. Would you see any reason to support or deny advancing him to chunnin? Some would say he would have been considered earlier if not for the trespass."

Tengoku would smile and finish the last of his coffee before he decided to show off his new ability just a little. He would glance down at his cup in his hand before focusing chakra into it. Letting its weight diminish to that of a feather. With that he would release it and let it literally float down to the desk. As if it were sinking through water. Barely clinking as it touched down and settled. Before returning to normal gravity. Those black and gold eyes watching Zenaku for a reaction.

Zenaku was gonna have to make sure yuichi knee what he had done for him, normally trying to leave the village with out oders from the hokage was reason enough to be arrested and locked up for a good amount of time. But thanks to the hokage and him self it would look as yuichi would have his record erased from the books. Tengoku would ask if he thought if yuichi should be promoted to chunin or not. To be all honest with him self he was not fully sure but there was many who thought that if not for the misshapen he did he would have made chunin a while ago.

" Well I mean if he has others also who think he should have been chunin then I support the idea of him becoming chunin, maybe the responsibility will do him some good. And speaking of ninja another in my clan might make a good chunin, her name is Kanara uchiha, I'm unsure if you had her under consideration but thought I would throw her in there. "

Zenaku would watch as the hokage caused his cup to float down onto the table as if it had no weight to it any more, it was really fascinating.

" That is a neat trick you have there Tengoku, is did you use wind style to do that or was it by chance your new doijutsu. "

Zenaku remarked as he grinned.

Tengoku would listen and nod to himself though he smiled a little at the mention of promoting Kanara. She had already had a meeting with him. Nervous girl really but certainly very fast. One of the fastest in the village and equal to even him in terms of sheer speed. The race had shown him as much. He had to really push himself to win which had come as a surprise. Still the man also mentioned his doujutsu. So he had noticed. Perhaps Tengoku was preeming for a chance to speak about it. Happy to have some unique power to help him protect this place. He saw it as one blessing in the sea of misery since Nyguyen died.

"Well yes it is due to this new power. They say its connected to the Indiana but they are unsure as to how since I was never there. As for Kanara...you surprise me. I already have her on the books as a chunnin. She came in and interviewed for the promotion herself. I assumed her whole clan knew. As for Yuichi...again its up to you. I will promote him to Chunnin if the bare the responsibility."

He was asking for the clan leader to put his neck out already. Perhaps he was testing him. Seeing how much he trusted his advisor. Truth was the decision was entirely up to him. Promote the boy and take responsibility away from administration for any fallout or deny him and question him as an advisor. It was a pickle really but it was one Tengoku needed. That aside it would determine if he would ask this favor of Zenaku or not. If he denied his own clan member and wouldn't stand up for him...well how could he ask him to put his life on the line for the village?

Zenaku listened intensely as Tengoku said that his eyes came from that kaijuu they had beat, but oddly enough Tengoku was not there when the kaijuu was taken down. This surface many questions for zenaku.

" So you was not there but you think your eyes was a link from the beast. There are a few ideas I can think of that might have caused your new powers to awaken now. The first is that maybe it was a long lost doijutsu and you only now are able to unlock it. Second is that when the beast was killed something was released into the air and only a select few people was affected by it. Could be in the blood, like blood type or something akin to that idea "

Zenaku would say as he was going over ideas, but in truth zenaku probably had no more of a idea then any one else would. It would also seem that Kanara Chad already been promoted which was great news tho how he was just hearing about it was odd, tho he had just became a Jonin as well as the leader of the Uchiha clan, so there was bound to be something that he had not got to see just yet. As for yuichi the hokage said that his promotion to chunin was up to zenaku. Zenaku was not a fool and he would not have agreed to let yuichi become a advisor if he did not trust him to a point.

" Yuichi is a fine Shinobi tho he be rough around the edges, I say go ahead and promote him to chunin. I trust yuichi will make a great ninja in time. "

Zenaku said, he was a member of his own clan so he needed to place trust in him like his clan would be putting trust in him to lead them to a better future.

Tengoku would listen to the explanation and lean forward in his chair. Resting his forearms on the desk as he folded his hands together. The rumors suggested Zenaku was equally intelligent to his own sister. Who had before recently had no rivals within Konoha. It was impressive to utilize the mind so effectively. His own mind had never been above average for the most part. He was a simple man with simple needs. However the explanation made some sense. Even if it was all just theories. However the fact that only Tengoku had been effected in this way so far just made more questions. Of course the man would indicate soon after that he would recommend Yuichi for chunnin and Tengoku would nod. Pulling a form from his desk he had filled out already. Signing it and writing down Uchiha Zenaku as a reference. Making Yuichi officially a chunnin. He hoped he would not come to regret this as the only people he had promoted recently were Uchiha and...suguru.... Still he would set it in the finished paperwork pile and take a long breath before glancing back to Zenaku.

"There was a time not too long ago where I would have simply went to my predecessor for advice. I never thought it would be so soon when I couldn't. He was retired after all so I assumed he would remain safe. That said Yuichi isn't the reason I brought you here today. Recently one Kagura Ezume retired from our ranks. She swore to keep in communications and went traveling to the land of wolves. Claiming there was something in her dreams calling her there."

He would rise to his feet and move over to the filing cabinet. Finding a map there...it didn't include the location of the village because he didn't have it...but he would return to the desk. Leaning down next to Zenaku...fully aware he could put a genjutsu on him with a touch...and point to the land of wolves. Indicating it on the map.

"I need someone to go here and find out what became of her if they can....of course there are resources there too we could use. So under the guise of buying the land, I want to ask you to go investigate. I need you to do this because of Kimiko...You are potent enough to hold your own if she finds you. Of course there is something in it for you too. The land would belong to Konoha but it would belong to the Uchiha clan. You would be responsible for infrastructure as you saw fit and fifty percent of the income would be your clans to do with as you see fit. Even move the clan compound there if you wished....of course you would be given a purse of seven million to purchase it with...Keep in mind this is for investigation only. Do not approach whatever is causing those dreams and inform me about what you find. I will deal with it personally. Do you accept this task?"

Zenaku would watch as Tengoku wrote on a piece of paper confirming the promotion of one yuichi Uchiha. The hokage would say that normally he would go to his predecessor but unfortunately he was unable to do that. He explained that recently one of there own retired and headed off towards the land of wolf's, something about some dreams that was calling to him. This meant zenaku was right the hokage did wish to see him about something else tho as to how dangerous this mission would be he was not fully sure just yet.

The hokage would tell the Uchiha that he needed someone to travel there under the guise of buying the land of wolf's. But what shocked zenaku was that he told him that the land of wolf's would become the land of the Uchiha and 50 percent of the money there would go to the uchiha to help build stuff. He said that the land would be part of konoha which meant it would be under it's protection. Tengoku would walk over to one of his desks as he pulled out what looked to be a map as he leaned in towards zenaku tho he did so hesitantly. He knew that zenaku could place a genjutsu on people just by touching them tho what he did not know was he could also put one on a person though sounds as well. The hokage would tell zenaku that he would be given seven million ryo to help in his investigation of what was causing these dreams then report back to him what he found. He also mentioned that if he ran into kimiko that he was strong enough to hold his own.

" Odd weird dreams that effect people, almost sounds like it could be a genjutsu but a genjutsu should not be able to effect a person from so far away as the land of wolf's are from konoha. Tho investigating sounds like it shall be fun. I accept the mission Tengoku, I shall buy the land or try to, and anything I find I shall report back to you. "

Zenaku would say as he would accept the map from the hokage as he would need that in order to get a good idea of where the village was at.

Tengoku would nod slowly as he listened to the explanation. Settling back into his chair with a small huff before regaining eye contact. Folding his hands on the desk in front of him. It was clear from the calluses on his knuckles he was a taijutsu specialist. Most of what he did handled close range combat but he was working on changing that. Picking up some archery lessons as of late from a private instructor. The old ways suited him he thought. Enjoying the calm use of weapons and equipment from older times. Before people got so crafty. His practice with kenjutsu had made his draw one of the fastest in the world. Genjutsu and sealing though...both were beyond him. That said he wouldn't be sending Zenaku out there unarmed.

"Very well. I urge caution to you of course...that said I will not send you out unprepared. Kimiko is out there somewhere...I can not offer much but..."

He was about to blow the guys mind he thought as he smiled. He would purse his lips and let out a low whistle. There would be a commotion outside the door before the guard would open it. Two individuals would bring in a number of scrolls. As well as a large leather purse with seven million ryo in it. The scrolls would be neatly stacked before Zenaku and the purse handed to him with a signature saying he received it. Before him were copies of the following.

It was a stack of copies of all their village exclusives save for four of them. Two because they were taijutsu based and two because they were more focused to the Uzumaki clan. Not to mention from what he understood it was a suicide jutsu and he wasn't fond of those. Still there was a great deal being handed to the clan leader of the Uchiha...he didn't know if it would help...but he hoped they would.

"Those copies of our exclusive jutsu handed down are now yours. You can train them yourself or give the copy to someone you trust enllisted in our forces. Remember these are to remain in Konohas hands...do not let them be taken or traded. Understood?"

The hokage urged caution to zenaku as he told the Uchiha that he would not send him out on this mission I'll prepared and just like that he whistled and as he did the door opened up and the guards standing outside brought over a large stack of scrolls for zenaku as well as the parcel of seven million ryo. Tengoku told zenaku that they was the scrolls for the restricted technique of there village. Zenaku was gonna ask the hokage if he could learn a few of these but he must have read his mind some how as he gave him all of the jutsu to learn.

" Thanks Tengoku, you must have read my mind, I was actually planning on asking to learn some of these. Now I have a few other questions, is this mission considered as a anbu mission, and if so what rank is it."

Normally zenaku did not care about asking those questions but when it comes to a mission of such stealth and danger he needed to know so to know just how to prepare for the mission. And sense he had these new scrolls he was gonna need a small amount of time to learn then so he would be ready for the mission.

Tengoku would glance at those in the room before nodding. Having them all exit the room and were escorted down the hall. Leaving the hallway empty now as he sat there with the man across from him. He seemed eager for an Anbu mission. Though in most of those the identity was concealed. However in a way it was at the same time. Tengoku would raise an eyebrow as he settled back in his chair. Confident that between himself and the Uchiha clan leader in front of him they would know if someone was listening in. Speaking in return finally.

"There are actually two missions here. On the surface its a diplomatic C rank mission. You are going to go buy territory for its resources and location on the border of a new land mass. You will need to be yourself as you will be running that village in the near future. Along with your clan I assume. And however many shinobi we can spare. So keep up the appearance of a diplomat. However the disappearance of an ex jounin from our village will need to be investigated. Quietly. Find out any recent activity there and any legends they might have. That part will be considered an A rank ANBU mission. Do not be discovered investigating and do not let this turn into a massacre."

Tengokus black eyes would shift and unconsciously with his warning the weight in the room would feel heavier. Tengokus coffee mug rattling before it cracked slightly. Tengoku would close his eyes a moment as if getting a migraine. He didn't have full control over his new gravity based powers it seemed. Still he would open his eyes and return to looking for reassurance. He would not tolerate another attack under his watch on a village...not from Konoha.

Zenaku understood, in the day he was just a diplomat Ninja from the hidden leaf there to buy off the land of wolf's but secretly he was there to find out anything about the legends of that village and to find out anything he could about there mission ex Jonin. Zenaku nodded his head in a way that showed he understood, sometimes not everything needed words.

" Don't worry Lord Tengoku you can count on me to see this mission though. There won't be no need for killing, after all there are easier ways to incapacitate a person should the reason arsise with out resorting to murder. That is why I specialize in genjutsu a very non lethal way of dealing with a threat. But I hope nothing like that has to happen, after all I'm just there to buy land for Konoha."

Zenaku would say with a smile on his face, the hokage would understand what he meant. For all any one knows the only reason why zenaku is going to the land of wolf's is to buy it out, nothing more and nothing less. As they was talking the hokage suddenly closed his eyes and when he did the Uchiha noticed that his white mug had a sudden crack placed in it. Zenaku suddenly had a smart idea, he was not gonna be able to carry all those scrolls so he reached into his ninja bag and he pulled out a empty scroll meant for storing stuff, he would open the scroll up then placed the Jutsu scrolls on top of that.

" Seal"

Zenaku said as a small puff of smoke appeared then as it vanished the other scrolls was gone, but they was not gone just kept safe inside of the other scroll.

" Well I better go Tengoku, it was nice seeing you again. I have a lot of preparation to attend to before setting out on this mission. "

Zenaku said as he placed the scroll back into his ninja bag, the young uchiha walked out of the door as he waved to the hokage.

Tengoku would watch the man seal away all the scrolls into one. One scroll he hoped the man would guard. What he held there was immensely valuable to some. Their originals still locked away in a vault below. His eyes would watch the man leaving with his reassurances of a clean mission. Of course Tengoku hoped the point of discretion was what Zenaku took away from all that. Still it was only due to Tengokus policies that they wouldn't be conquering territory anymore. There were more questions than answers these days and it was an easy task to get lost in them. He had no idea what was awaiting Zenaku there but he was sending one of two of the strongest people in the village for this. If Zenaku couldn't handle it than it was unlikely anyone could to begin with. Still Tengoku would merely nod before Zenaku left cheerfully with a wave. He had just been handed the world after making clan leader so to speak. His own land to manage and a new territory for the Uchiha clan as a whole. Tengoku would tap his fingers to the desk as he sat back a moment. Contemplating to himself. Hopefully there would be answers soon. Hopefully.
