Teacher and Student...!

Raika stands at the far edge of the training ground, still wearing her usual tattered clothing, save for the Nemean Cloak on her back and the Felis Bangle on her left wrist, and with the giant twinsword Hiramekarei on her back, though it was covered in bandages, so it might not be so obvious that it was one of the more powerful of the Seven Swordsmen weapons. She was starting to find that she rather liked the way the sword felt to wield, and she was now fully considering asking Valen for permission to be its official wielder, rather than carrying it around with her sometimes. She would have to give up Kabutowari, and that made her a little sad, but she could feel that Hiramekarei felt good in her hands, even if the dual handles felt a little awkward to weird as it was.

Raika had chosen to take up training with Dante, since Raphael had been killed in the attack of the Nibi. She had his scroll of all of the Taijutsu techniques, after all, and while she wasn't sure that Dante had any skill in Fuuinjutsu, she could at least take over the training of Taijutsu, as that was the skill she was the most familiar with at the moment. Hiramekarei would stay attached to her back for the day, regardless. It'd felt almost irresponsible to have had it sealed away inside of her home, as well-hidden as it was, but now she had it securely on her back and in view of everyone, it somehow felt far safer. She'd leave Kabutowari sealed away inside her Felis Bangle, in any case. It wasn't getting in the way for this Taijutsu training. Raika thinks she sees a familiar cat-like tail on a person walking towards her, and so she hops down off the tree she'd been resting in, peering through the mist to see if it was her new genin student coming to see her.

Dante arrived within the grounds, following the sweet scent of Raika which lured him to her, making it easier to find her within the training grounds. Kirigakure was a naturally misty country and so sometimes seeing was not in one’s favor, however the people of Kiri have become accustomed to it and so their perception had become better than most within the mists. Raika offered to take Dante under her wing as she knew all of the techs that Raphael taught her and so it was the best course to finish his training.


Though multiple reasons to follow Raika as well, mainly personal however it was always pleasant to be around her despite Raika’s attitude. Though since being around Dante, it seemed as though she became less… feral? Still, Dante would approach Raika and sage to her with a hand in his pocket, his ears twitching with delight and his tail swaying to the side. “Yo.”

Raika actually has to put in effort not to smile when she sees Dante, but perhaps he can see the smile wanting to come out in her eyes. She'd even become accustomed to his scent, even though it still caused some kind of reaction in her body. She wasn't sure what to make of it, as she'd never felt that kind of sensation before. Still, she kept such thoughts out of her head as she fully approached him to stand directly in front, her 6'0" tall body towering in height for a woman, and she lightly presses her fingertip against his chest, careful not to let any part of her claw extend out the front; she didn't want to hurt him, after all.

"All right you. How much did Raphael teach you? Just list 'em out so I know where to pick up on training you, okay?"

She waits while letting him tell her all the techniques they'd managed to get through before having to end their training session, and she moves over to the training dummy slowly, though still clearly paying attention to him judging by the way she keeps one ear turned towards him. Even so, her hips sway a little more than they might normally, covered though she was with Hiramekarei's large form. He wouldn't see too much of her from his position, but he could still get a good look at her legs. Once he finishes going down the list, she turns back towards him and finally gives him a toothy smirk, though the sharp fang peeks out of the smirk, giving it a nearly predatory glint.

"Oh, by the by, I've got a genin student of my own, as well. That means I've got two students, nearly a full team. I think I'll have you two go on a mission together with me soon, maybe an entire Crucible. We'll see if you're lucky enough for this... three-person test."

She'd nearly called it a threesome, but she didn't honestly think of Natsuki that way; far too stiff for her liking, but that didn't mean she wasn't somewhat fond of the girl.

Raika smiles just a little, feeling sure that he's watching while she's walking away and feeling at least a little bit prideful for the effect she knows she has on him, but she turns towards him again suddenly, raising an eyebrow while he asks jokingly if they trust her not to beat up a genin now. She honestly still felt a little guilty for it, but he had seen quite a lot of her body and had gotten a meal out of it, so she considered them even by now.

"Oh no, not at all. Now that I'm a Chuunin, they expect me to hospitalize Genin much more often, in fact."

She gives the cute boy a toothy grin, although from his perspective, she could either be smiling at him or baring her teeth at him. Then he asks her what a Crucible is, or at least he means to ask what the Crucible is, but she wonders how much the Genin are supposed to know beforehand; nothing, she decides, just as much as what she was told.

"We'll see. In any case, it sounds like Raphael taught you the basics and at least one more advanced technique, so I'll have to teach you a few of the other advanced Taijutsu."

Normally quite slow, Raika tilts her body towards Dante and she suddenly dashes to him, though thankfully still at a speed that Dante can follow, but he's probably a bit surprised when her chest bumps against his as she finished the sudden dash maneuver, having kicked her feet hard to slide along the wet grass and close the distance more quickly than she normally could.

"Now your turn to try it. And I know you were staring at me the whole time, so don't act like you couldn't follow along."

As she speaks, she moves back to her previous position and faces him again, ready to see how well he performs this technique first.

Dante would smile from the attempt of one from Raika, his tail swishing lightly, a happy indication. "Do they now?" He'd return the same look to him, placing a hand on his hip and cocking his head to the side, his ears flicking teasingly. Raika would continue on the path of teaching Dante and he'd fix his posture, stretching his arms and legs, his ears flicking to her sweet voice. "We didn't get far, he had to leave unexpectedly, so." He'd say while glancing to her every now and then.

Raika would suddenly come forth to him, his eyes widening, looking at her, locked on practically. The movement came to a halt as she bumped her chest into his, making him cough just a bit, wincing and taking a step back. He'd fumble back and watch her take a step back, grunting
"Yknow I hate that you're right--" mimicking her movements originally, Dante would dash towards her, his feet copying her movement and coming to a halt, bumping his chest against hers all while sliding to a halt when he did so. "I don't appreciate this in a non.. intimate setting."

Raika raises an eyebrow when Dante performs the technique correctly, bumping back into her during the slide to a stop. She reaches up to put her hands on his chest, likely feeling like she's got intimate thoughts in mind, before she thrusts him away from her, though not roughly. Instead, she's giving him a bit of praise for performing the technique correctly, pretending she hadn't heard his statement about the setting not being intimate.

"Good, well done. We'll start with the next one, a technique you would have found extremely useful in our last spar, when we had been the same rank..."

She only gives him a little bit of mockery, but then she focuses chakra into the skin at the front of her body before gesturing towards him, calling him in with her hand.

"Next is the Tortoise Shell. You use chakra to harden your body in order to take attacks head-on instead of redirecting or dodging them. Punch my stomach as hard as you can; you know you want to feel me up."

Raika calls attention to her stomach, which is really quite well-toned and firm-looking, but is now hardened even further by the application of chakra from the technique. Should he strike, Raika likely wouldn't have even felt it, as she's also taking on the Body of the Bear stance to further improve her defenses and just to ensure she won't be taking damage from a genin.

"Keep in mind, though, that the technique has no effect on any damage you take that isn't strictly physical. You'll just get hurt if someone uses Katon or Raiton to try and cause damage, so it's best to only use this for CQC."

Dante gulps with the sudden intimate contact with Raika, his ears pinning back from this new side of hers but his tail expresses otherwise. His tail wags, almost playfully, his eyes avoiding contact before getting playfully shoved away from Raika. His ears perk back up when she mentions their previous spar and he scoffs, crossing his arms and making a low growl, muttering to himself. He would still listen to her instructions and put his arms at the side of his waist and punch with his might against her abs, seeing how they were toned, his punch was a bit weaker than other times, clearly distracted. Still, he would feel the hardness, feeling as if he was striking a hard material. He'd shake off the pain and rub his knuckles before raising a brow. "That wouldve been useful..."

Dante focused most of his chakra towards his abdomen, feeling the Chakra spiral and form, hardening even, allowing him to almost tighten his abdomen. He had subtle abs but only when he wasn't flexing. Flexing would show his abs prominently, allowing him to sort of show off. This chakra would make his abdomen flex a bit as it enhanced the strength. Feeling his abdomen himself, he'd be a bit surprised at it. "Okay, I suppose try now..."

Raika watches with her arms crossed as Dante stands still for a bit, seeming to focus a bit and even flexing his own abdominal muscles, and with Dante touching his own stomach, apparently surprising himself with how tough the exterior probably feels. Raika draws back as soon as Dante says the word try, launching her fist forwards into the center of his stomach, but the only thing her strike does is meet with his hardened exterior, stopping her punch in its tracks with his matching toughness.

"Yeah, close enough. Just remember that this technique can be applied throughout the entire body, making your whole body capable of taking physical strikes with more. Now, that leaves us with only one other technique Raphael left with us in the scroll that I can teach you..."

She takes on a very even stance, her feet shoulder width apart and her legs slightly bent as her face takes on an extremely calm demeanor, with even her typical Ryuutei aggression seeming to disappear from her face as she raises her forearms until they're horizontal, with her upper arms at either side and her hands palm up. Her eyes are the only part of her that maintain their look of intensity, now seeming even more focused and attentive than normal.

"This is the final thing to learn, the Calm Waters technique. If I can see the physical attack coming, I can meet it with my own physical prowess by observation, and deflect or dodge it before it can hit me. Keep in mind, if your opponent can use more chakra than you, you're going to be left with little to no chakra, so keep that in mind when using this technique, all right?"

Dante grunts as a natural reaction, closing his eyes and wincing. Yet he opens them and places his hands on his abs, his ears perking up and his eyes widened. "I didn't feel it.." He said softly while looking and prodding at his abdomen. His eyes glance to raika as she speaks while she gets into another stance, letting him know of what to do and how it helps.


Dante copied the stance raika did and nodded his head, focusing on the area around him and then to raika, seeing her clearly and feeling as if he could react quickly to her. He was seeing everything clearly and it almost made him calm, as if he were standing in an empty plains, standing on water with no ripples. He could think and focus. Dante would get out of this stance, his tail wagging and smiling. "That felt nice.. a little too nice. "

Raika shrugs as he claims that it felt nice, and perhaps too nice. While the calmness was a nice sensation, she didn't really make much use of the technique for herself. With that, she was fairly certain that he knew everything he was going to be able to learn from her, at least for now. She also has some techniques she'd like to train, but she figures she can always train them later, without causing harm to her... new student. She bites her bottom lip a little, having nearly thought of him as something other than a genin. That was dangerous... Perhaps she shouldn't be his sensei like she'd thought, so she'd have to consider someone else to be a part of her team. She'd discuss it with him at home.

"Yeah, well, how about we head home for now, and I'll show you what else feels really nice?"

She doesn't wait for his assent or his argument, because she simply grips his wrist and leads him away towards his home; she didn't want the Ryuutei Clan talking about how much time she's spending with a clan outsider, and especially a fox. They might notice his scent on her, but who was the say she hadn't gone out to hunt foxes instead? So at least for now, their secret rendezvous would be safe from the prying eyes of her clan. She also carefully writes a seal on his chest with her finger, secretly having dipped it in ink, and wanting to see if this seal she'd developed would actually work...

"Oh, and be a good boy and... SIT!"

Raika yells out the final word, waiting to see if the Adamantine Sealing Chains would be strong enough to pull him straight down to the ground before she breaks her own seal by smearing the ink off of him and releasing the chakra, grinning down at him mischievously for once before turning and skipping back to his place anyways. She had to admit, spending time with him was... fun...

Dante's ears flick with the intrusive thought of what could happen at said home. He feels his wrist get gripped, leading him to his own home. His eyes widen as he grunts from being pulled so easily, tumbling along until Raika seemingly traces his chest with her finger. His cheeks develop a small red hue, his eyes avoiding eye contact, gulping in response. With the words good boy being heard, he would move to speak until the word "SIT!" was called out in which his body was pulled toward the ground at high speeds, his face hitting the dirt, smooshing inward. The sheer force of this power made a small impacted dent that surrounded Dantes body and a little more outward. Dante yelped with the impact, his body becoming almost crushed from said force. The ink was then wiped off from him and he laid there, completely dazed as he had no idea what just happen.
