She'd disposed of his body, turning it more or less into nothing more than ashes while remaining unobserved. She'd made sure of that during her teleportation to the mark she'd left here. With the bird mask and full body armor, nobody would even know who she was if they saw her, and her chakra signature was currently scrambled from its normal one.
Over the course of the few days that transpired, she prepared for her return to Konoha. She needed to gather information first, figure out where Satomi was, and track him without him knowing where she was. That had been the entire purpose of her acquiring the Bird mask. It was specially made to alter her signature, something that she was certain Satomi had memorized. This would even the playing field.
Then she needed to figure out where to head. Obviously walking through the gate to Konoha would draw attention to any disguise she might have, she needed to enter Konoha through some other means. That meant her seals. Of the ones placed, she'd need to use the one in the cemetery. It was less likely that someone was present there, and she didn't know if her house was occupied or being watched. She'd have to scope that out. Cemetery it was.
Sealing away the Defender's Regalia into her lightning flash blade creation seals, along with her Talons, Kimiko kept out only her mask and Aerondite out, clipping the mask onto her belt next to the sheathed Aerondite.
Forming the handseals for the Transformation technique, Kimiko turned herself into a different girl, short haired bob with long bangs framing her face. She was a fair amount taller, and wore a black dress, suitable for someone in mourning. Long black gloves covered her hands and arms, and she wore dark fishnets and a black heel. The sword and mask were not present, but the effects of the mask still covered her, as she still held it on her person.
It was time for her to head back to Konoha. Activating her Flying Thunder God seal, Kimiko disappeared from the shack she'd been staying at.
