Howling Mountains Surrounding the forested lowlands are jagged mountains whose teeth seem to bite at the sky. The weather is harsh and as the wind whips across the mountain peaks it makes a distinct howling sound, giving the area its namesake. This region is populated, among other things, with a rare and interesting mountain goat. They are renowned for their tender and remarkably nutritious meat and it is said that these mountain goats are just as aggressive as the predators that hunt them. The Quarry This forested basin is ironically named by those that have survived it. Within the dense and unforgiving foliage lurk the most violent of predatory beasts, their war cries echoing from the steep walls of the mountains that surround the death pit. It is rumoured that this is the proving ground for various peoples in the Land of Wolf and that only the strongest and most cunning make it out alive.	0	0
