- Benji’s House:
He lived with primarily his mom, dad, and a cat of theirs that they have had since Benji was 10. For the sake of this story, Benimaru is NOT a morning person. In fact he is quite clumsy when in the morning because he never fully wakes up without have something to drink, let it be water, juice, tea, or coffee. His room is made up of one bed, a window with a patio leading outside, a rug and a desk with a bookshelf. Very simple, nothing on the walls besides a peg to hand his ninja band. His bed was plain with blue sheets and a black comforter on top in which he threw it off of himself. Benji placed his feet onto the floor, wearing only boxers and a solid black shirt, while sporting a messy bed head. He yawned and rubbed his eyes while walking out of his room and going next door into the bathroom. To wake himself up a little bit more, he turned some cold water on and splashed some onto his face, then brushing his teeth. His eyes still heavy and unable to really stay awake, he knew he had to keep up so he could get something to eat. Tapping the tooth brush on the side of the sink, he placed it back on the counter and opened the door.
- Rough sketch of layout:
As stated Benji is clumsy and so as he walks out, his shoulder hits the door frame, making him stop and look back at it, almost ready to obliterate the door frame, as if it did it on purpose. Was it to intimidate it? Nobody knows other than Benji himself and nobody really questions it. Continuing his way downstairs, seeing two blonde young looking boys, he gave his usual greeting to them and made a left to go to the kitchen where his mother was making breakfast. “Morning.” He said with a yawn following behind. He grabbed a mug and poured some coffee in it, some milk and sugar as well and taking his first sip of the morning. After tasting his coffee, his eyes widened and he ended up looking like he started to stare off into space when in fact, he just realized something.
“Hey mom..”
“Yes sweetie?”
“Why are there two boys running around our house and where did you find them.”
His mother chuckled. “Benji, those are your twin cousins. My sister, Ketsue, is here to visit. They’re her sons.” She said as she took a piece of fruit and gave it a try, making her place a hand on her cheek and closing her eyes with delight.
“And they not young boys. They’re 23.”
With this in mind, Benji spit his coffee everywhere, beginning to choke on it as well. He hit his chest a few times to get any left over coughs out before looking at his mother with a teary eyed expression. “T-Twenty Three?!” He asked with confusion and disbelief written all over his face. His crimson eyes watched the two men…? I guess he should assume now, act childish and play around the house. Almost like on cue, his father comes around the way and places his hand across his wife’s waist, kissing the side of her head and smiling at Benji. “Get a room..” Benji rolled his eyes and his father laughed. “I see he saw the twins.”
