Clan History/Description:
The foot clan once was a smaller clan that consisted out of 2 branches, each one having a different code, yet united in their fighting style and physical appearances. In general, those branches were Dojo’s which specialized either in Taijutsu and short bukijutsu weapons or longer ranged Buki / kenjutsu weapons. Their fighting style was known as „Flowing water - crushing stone“
The taijutsu spare was dominant in close-quarter combat, whereas the Kenjutsu-focused one was dominant in more open engagements. Unusually this meant that the clan, whenever hired, would utilize teams consisting of both schools.
This housed various problems, however, for example when one's field of expertise was challenged and the groups were forced into unfavorable conditions. (Short ranged fighter version Fighting in an open area), as well as a lack of trust in the members of the other dojo.
This internal conflict evolved over time until an unfavorable marriage within the clan elevated the conflict to their own, personal war, resulting in half of the clan dead, both dojo leaders in critical condition, and the clan effectively in shambles.
The aftermath was basically a soft form of matriarchy, where survivors of both Dojo’s united under the leadership of a young and oddly wise shinobi that had been away from the clan for the better part of her life, only to return to it being nearly wiped out.
With both Dojo’s united now, teaching their ways equally and together, as well as a new, more realistic mindset that was focused on patience and near-instant retaliation, the clan managed to survive and get a few teams full of new shinobi on its way, capable of defending what remained.
Clan/Bloodline Traits & Characteristics: The foot clans' teachings are based upon their ability to use the water element. With 60% of their children being basically born with it, and a large percentage of the rest having the genetic material to unlock it in their adulthood, the foot clan always has been a clan connected to the water and their home base, centered around a smaller sea that is laying on a particularly weak rock, which can be easily ground down.
Members of the foot clan have a rather muscular appearance, which even is predominant in the women of the clan. Ther hair color usually is black, and the very same hair they usually carry around in long, open hair. Usually, members of this clan carry a tattoo in the form of a foot, or apply to make up each day, to show their alignment.
Members of the foot clan are usually rather pacifistic and with high patience. When this patience is broken however or a clan member is forced to take action, retaliation is near instant, as taught by the clan both mentally and in the dojo.
The foot clan members are, while pretty humble most of the time, always aware of their powers, don't mind to show respect where respect is due and value good living conditions highly which comes from a time where a shortage of food nearly broke the clan.
Bloodline Description & Abilities:
The foot clan abilities revolve around studying and perfecting a fighting style and the water element. Members of this clan are able to train the skills they value most due to having multiple masters."
Mechanical-wise this means that any ability can be taken in an order that the user wishes, given that they are in possession of the requirements.
While this does sound unimpressing at first, by the time the student is able to perform such acts with their control over water, their water techniques have cotten to a point where they are much more deadly or effective. This shows in all of their techniques being one rank stronger for the purpose of determining power and damage.
Worth to note: Just because they are able to return the hit with the enemy stats, does not mean that they are able to hit as well, meaning it can be evaded. Furthermore, this expands also to thrown objects/ physical attacks can be “countered” by using a throwable with according stats.
Bloodline Limits & Drawbacks:
Members of this clan must start with the water element and either buki, tai or kenjutsu.

Flowing water – crushing rock / 750 XP
The flowing water – crushing rock combat style is, despite its name, more than just a mere style. Ist a huge part of their entire training focuses on water, and the way it moves to damage beings. The training usually takes months of guided 1:1 sessions between master and student and various tests to show one's progress. The final test is done when the student is required to carve a large, precise symbol, out of the clan's soft stone, only with water. The result of a successful test usually is a structure that is close to 3d art. While this does sound unimpressing at first, by the time the student is able to perform such acts with their control over water, their water techniques have cotten to a point where they are much more deadly or effective. This shows in all of their techniques being one rank stronger for the purpose of determining power and damage.
Kinetic cashback / 500 XP
Another large school of the foot clan is, as opposed to their more ninjutsu based one, their physical one. With the „Kinetic cashback“ being more focused on physical combat, it basically teached the student how to return the power of an opponent back against himself as well as physical resilience. This shows in the form of them being able to, immediately after blocking, taking or evading damage from a physical hit to return said hit with their own weapon or tai/buki/kenjutsu-style. Unique about this fact is, that they are performing said „counterattack“ with the opponent's strength and speed, as long as their own coordination is max. 1 tier lower then their enemies. At 2 tiers below their enemies coo, the counter attack will have a malus of 1 tier each in str and spd.Worth to note: Just because they are able to return the hit with the enemy stats, does not mean that they are able to hit as well, meaning it can be evaded. Furthermore, this expands also to thrown objects/ physical attacks can be “countered” by using a throwable with according stats.
Inner splash / 250 SP
The internal wellspring is an ability that a Foot clan member is able to unlock after spending enough time meditating inside of the clan's own sub-surface water spring and training their chakra to run in an equal way, giving them a Larger chakra pool to use. This gives a 2 advantages strong, generic boost towards stamina.Inner stream / 250 SP / Requires inner splash
The Internal River is, like the Internal wellspring, expanding on the clan's natural ability to regenerate chakra in combat. While the first one focuses on meditation and soft training, the latter focuses on blunt, exhausting training and pushing one's abilities by force. This increases the clan members' chakra pool by 1 tier, given as a generic boost and their coordination by 1 advantage.Inner Wellspring / 250 SP /Requires Inner stream
The final training a clan member of the foot clan can perform/boundary a clan member can push even further beyond, is the size of their chakra pool. On top of their considerably higher chakra pool, they will get an additional bonus of 1 advantage to their coordination, effectively giving them 1 tier in stamina and 2 advantages in coordination as generic boosts.Bloodline Limits & Drawbacks:
Members of this clan must start with the water element and either buki, tai or kenjutsu.
