Stats
Unique Abilities:
Extra starting exp: I start with 600 extra exp to spend on stats, but I must pay off my debt before doing anything else.
Appearance:Katsumi is a somewhat messy looking individual. He rarely shaves his face, only bathes when he thinks he needs to, and smells like cigarettes and sweat. Although rather average height wise, he is fairly bulky and tough looking. His brown hair is usually kept short, although he trims it himself so it is almost always a bit uneven.
History: Katsumi used to live his life as a bandit when he was young, using the skills that his parents taught him growing up to rob and steal as much as he pleased. Well, it all came back to bite him when his beloved dog companion and lifelong friend, Wakka, died as a payback for a robbery that Katsumi was a part of. He never managed to get his revenge, but after a few years of smoking too many cigarettes and moping about it, he decided it was time to go get a job as a ninja. It’s too bad his landlord already kicked him out.
Katsumi grew up in the land of fire knowing that his father was a shinobi from the land of water. While he knows very little about his heritage, he always wanted to follow in his fathers foot steps. Only, he has no solid way to prove his heritage. So far, he hasn't shown any signs of this relation. He has dark brown hair and doesn't even know what sort of abilities they might have. Either way, he signed up for for the academy and hopes to prove himself and his heritage.
Personality:After living a rough life, Katsumi has learned to cope by never taking life too seriously. After all, happiness isn’t about how much you achieve in life. So why not party a little?
Some things are a serious matter to the grizzled chain smoker. First and foremost, he cares deeply for his dogs. They’re his closest companions, aside from the mercs he used to run with.
Although Katsumi is a relaxed and fun-loving individual, he can also be wrathful at times. When life is going wrong for him, sometimes he lashes out, and he almost always regrets it. This would happen more often in his bandit days. Now that life has calmed down a bit, Katsumi has calmed down as well.

- Costs for stuff:
1650 + 600 = 2250 total points to spend.
To figure out how much I spent, I simply added up the number of each teir stat I had, then added those up.
4C = 1800
3D = 450
1800 + 450 = 2250

Roleplay Example:
- Story 1:
- If you knew what to look for, you could turn anything into an opportunity to earn money. At least, that's how he thought when he was a kid. Although, sometimes he got a little over his head. Breaking into houses could be dangerous business, but at the time, Katsumi was desperate. So he chose a hard target with a big score. A rich big shot with a fancy summer home. He only stayed there a few months out of the year, so it seemed like easy picking. As a matter of fact, it was full of security, but Katsumi didn’t scope the place beforehand and had no idea until he was inside
He didn’t stand a chance, and they came at him from all directions once he was discovered. Lucky for him though, they didn’t kill him. Instead, he just wound up doing some prison time.
It started pretty well. He made it all the way to the master bedroom. After packing some nice stuff into his sack, he started making his way into another room, when he spotted somebody moving down the hallway. They spotted him too.
Katsumi greeted him with a right hook, but not before he was able to call out to his friends. Thinking he was all cool and stuff, he tried to leap off a second floor balcony, but slipped when he hit the floor. His leg just snapped, leaving him writhing in pain on the floor.
Security surrounded him at that point, and started beating him with sticks. He spent a couple of months in jail after that. Just for revenge, he always wanted to go back and steal from that place again. Only do it right this time.
- story 2:
- Once more, he looked around to make sure that there was nobody around who might notice what he was doing, before sliding in through a window that had been half barried in snow. He could see his half sister asleep in her bed. A dog looked up at hi through just below the window.
"Shh. shh. It's okay. Your a good boy. It's just me," he whispered to the dog so he wouldn't wake his sister. He gave it a pat on the head then crawled across the room as quitely as he could manage. The gentle rythm of dog feet could be heard following him. He tried to shoo the dog away with a firm whisper; "Hey, stop that! You'll give me away."
It paused breifly. allowing him to slide the door open and squeeze through. About halfway down, he could see the dog forcing it's floppy jowls through the door as well.
"Seriously? No! Go away," he whispered. The dog did not head his command at all, but instead started lumbering down the hallway toward him. How exhausting.
"Well what did you expect, he was waiting for you." He could hear his mothers voice from somewhere in the darkness of the next room. Taking a glance over, he could see the light of her lit cigarette as well.
"Shit!"
"I could smell you from a mile away, don't flatter yourself, your not that sneaky," she said. The tip of he cigarette glew bright orange in the dark room as she took a long drag off of it.
"Yeah, alright, fine, you caught me," Katsumi said. The dog looked pleased with himself. It looked at him with expectations of being pet. Katsumi started making his way across the dark room, stubbing his toe on a chair on his way over too her. "Alright look, I just need a place to stay for the night."
"Are you in some kind of trouble?" she asked.
"No. I'm just poor," Katsumi said.
"Just knock next time." He watched the ash fall off her cigarette as she waved it around expressively.
"You always say no," he said.
She snorted. "Since when."
Actually, it only happened once, and there were other factors involved. All he could think to do was blurt out a clumsy thank you.
