Diana sat on top of a rock, a bow in her hands and her mind in a semi-meditative state. She had been recalled temporarily to the back lines to recover from her fatigue fighting the Indaina Kujira, and was not happy about it. The Kotōshura who were under her command and given the ability to use C2 had to forcefully bring her back, and while they were now fighting to keep the beast from achieving it's goal, it left her having to wait for her body to recover.
So she figured the best way to help out both her body and mind was to practice a technique she had made: One with Nature. The creation of it's child technique was rather easy to make, she had already figured out the basics for how to attune herself to nature's hidden secrets through sensory expanded beyond what most would practice, but the sixth sense could only do so much. She already knew she wouldn't be able to make any more progress on honing her physical body any more without exerting considerable effort for only a temporary boost, but it didn't matter. That beast was threatening those she cared about, and if it meant forcing her body to go beyond that was good enough for her.
She listened to the wind that darted past, the few leaves that fell from a tree several kilometers away. A tree she had passed several times when coming to and from the market. She had debated studying how the leaves would manage to make the long trek, but every time she tried to some new and important issue would come up, giving her little time to look into it. The leaves would serve as a good target though to practice her aiming. Her eyes closed, Diana drew an arrow and aimed it, using the small tells to figure out it's movement. The direction of the minute wind, the smell the leaf gave off, the sound of it's crinkling foliage on the ground. Each served a way for Diana to know where her target was.
She let go of the string, the arrow releasing a soothing sound as it glided across the sky and into the ground in a microsecond. Opening her eyes she'd see she hit the leaf dead-on.
Good enough for her.
