Here, the land was still, shrouded in snow year round, and beautifully quiet. He crouched on the bough beneath his feet, giving himself a moment to rest.
Shinobi moved at speeds that only civilians could dream of, a product of chakra acting as propulsion, and accelerating their movements. In the far distance, just touching the horizon, he could scarcely make out the grey hues of rain and storm clouds. A warmer climate-- the Land of Hotsprings to towards the South.
Irui sprang from his perch, and continued south. If the rumors were true, the Land of Hot Springs had long since been destroyed, and it was a scene he was eager to investigate.
